82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: March 03, 2018, 02:30:00 AM
Safe or not, it still depends on the user and the owner of bitcoin wallet since there are a lot of scammers that will really take advantage of these people if they will let these scammers give them a chance to hack their wallets.

BTW, I notice an all-newbie posts here with less than 1 minute interval in posts. Suspicious.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 02, 2018, 03:55:40 PM

The decision to advertise on bitcoin on a glass or tv screen is a step forward for advancing the presence of bitcoin in the community.
More and more people know about bitcoin through tv
It will be easier to get bitcoin.

Even if bitcoin will be advertise in TV, I don't think that bitcoin will become more easier to get since it has a great price that cannot be earned that easily especially as a commoner though it will be a great help educating them about a currency that might be used in the future. For now, there are a lot of people that are still not decided if bitcoin is real or just a currency that is used by billionaires to gain great profits.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: March 02, 2018, 03:26:27 PM
Bitcoin can be used for anything even to fund crime such as terrorists, because a lot of money earned from bitcoin and bitcoin can not be traced for its use.

Bitcoin is not really anonymous and it is proven last year so I don't think that terrorists and criminals are actually using bitcoin as a payment. You can read this link about why bitcoin is not really anonymous. https://www.technologyreview.com/s/608716/bitcoin-transactions-arent-as-anonymous-as-everyone-hoped/

If you want to use an anonymous digital currency, you can look at these crypto currency which is the real anonymous crpyto currencies. https://coinsutra.com/anonymous-cryptocurrencies/

Thanks man. I am a bit confused since he said that these 2 numbers are showing up whenever he wants to check the hash of his miner. Maybe he can calculate his profits from now on.

So, what is the number 106.7 showed for?

From picture it is obvious it's averages for 10sec | 60sec | 15min ... So, 106.7 is avg for 60s.

Thanks for clearing that out man. I am not good at these programs even my friend and he still started mining despite that. He said that he will not get any good profits from his 8 hour mining activity, and the funny part is that he is just using his laptopEmbarrassed

I just thought he is using a Desktop PC.

say to your friend, buddy

don't again use a laptop to mine because of the mining process must run 24/7 and the laptop doesn't design for it. and mining process produces heat while a laptop has a small fan.which will never be able to release excessive heat.

and a bit hashrate because of must competition with  GPU miners.

I did after he told me man. I've never thought that he is using a laptop and I thought that he is dead serious at his mining activities at all that I even posted this in the forum. I am really embarrassed by these man, I am sorry. BTW thanks again man. I copied your post so he can understand this.

This photo was sent to me by my friend who just started mining. I don't know what he's mining but all I know is that he is using his own PC to mine this altcoin. This picture shows the hash rate of his mining activity and he wants to ask me how much hash is he getting, I am not mining so I do not know what will I answer to him. He just want to calculate his future profits.

I do not know if that will be a hash of 107 or 106.7+107.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: March 02, 2018, 07:13:06 AM
Bitcoin helps the community in their financial and transaction problem. It makes life easier and has a factor that benefits the community that is why it is important.

Bitcoin do not make our life easier but our financial transactions way easier. Bitcoin is the combination of ATM and online payment though we don't have third parties like the ATM and our transactions are being accepted by the miners. If bitcoin will be used by the whole population of this world, sending and paying money will be very easy though I hope bitcoin that time is not volatile.
90  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: It wasnt unfair at all in the first place... on: March 02, 2018, 01:55:35 AM
Maraming nagrereklamo pero sa tingin ko fair naman talaga yung ganitong system. Isipin niyo ha, maraming nagrarank up at nakakapag farm ng account dun sa last system.
91  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Requirement for Member Proposal on: February 28, 2018, 11:02:36 AM
I guess theymos doesn't want to put the limit to high due to the lesser restrictions that come with being a member. Although, I believe he has suggested he's willing to tweak things if people are getting merit to easily, and the other way around. I don't think this is an issue currently though and the 10 merit is probably fine.
Ten merits to rank up to Member is possible task. I don't see any problem with this requirement. But since that rank, harder to move up to next level, Full Member, because it requires 90 more merits.

It is not just possible, it is easy to rank up. I do too don't see any problems with this requirement since it is just the first step on ranking up, after that it will be needing some effort and time. 90 merits are needed to be a Full Member, 150 for Sr. Member, 250 for Hero Member and 500 for Legendary, that is not easy. I think that 10 merits is just a jump start for these new members.
92  Other / Meta / Re: How to get merit points ? on: February 28, 2018, 07:27:34 AM
I think you should post more quality posts  which means consider and attend by members (post can be about everythin whatever you want as quality)
 Smiley Smiley

Having or creating a quality post is like being lucky. You do not know of you are lucky or not, you do not know if "luck" really exists but all you know is that you are lucky in a certain way. That means, some can see your post as a quality post some of them will not and most of them will either see it as a quality or not but even though they are in the middle, they will not give you any merit. That is the truth though.

94  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: February 06, 2018, 04:14:59 AM
Physical money has stigma of assurance to the mass people. Only few people know about bitcoins and we cannot blame those who don't know about it. Honestly, bitcoin has its flaws and its risks make people go away with it. In its current state, bitcoin is really scary and physical money is still the reliable form of money.

Bitcoin has it flaws but i don't think that it is that scary since a lot of countries are regulating it. But I will still choose physical money not with this reason, it is because bitcoin and other digital currencies are not that accepted in our country. It is good to buy some things out of bitcoin online leaving no fees and they can immediately receive my payment.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: seems that China is on the move again and influence price on: February 06, 2018, 02:32:37 AM
ooks like all the bad and negative news are coming in pretty badly on a day to day basis,China did had an impact on the price of bitcoin some time back but not anymore, but these sort of negative news will pull the market down as the entire market is reacting to every news,i am sure there are more bad news in stock as we will see more regulations being implemented in bitcoin and other crypto exchanges.
I guess time to buy more bitcoin then? Smiley china cannot scare investors anymore, they have already done that from last year, yes there were changes in the value but it lasted for like about a month. no damage done. some people will try to release bad news to shake weak hands and panic sell but not for the whales. they will get as many bitcoin as they can during this kind of season.
agree with you. Buy as much bitcoin as you can right now, let this bad news come to you but do not be influenced by anything. be self you self

A lot of people are complaining about the price but we can't really do anything about in the mean time. Instead of complaining, let us just take this disadvantage into our advantage since it is the best time to buy bitcoin. I have some good digital currencies ready to be sold for bitcoin, I am just waiting for a good price to sell them.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: February 05, 2018, 04:59:07 PM
We choose bitcoin because not iTs just popular but because its more convinient  to use. Easy to pay no hassle no need to take a long line of people for just paying  a bill easy to buy things on the internet easy to invest thats the reason why i/we pick bitcoin. As long the bitcoin dont have a problem within it we were link to it. Smiley

Let's be honest here. I am using, selling and trading bitcoin for a almost a year now. In the past these transactions are so easy to do it is even faster in that time, but since the price reach higher peaks, the fees and the transaction became higher and slower. It is not convenient to pay someone using bitcoin because the fees will eat all up the transaction. I choose bitcoin because it is profitable through time.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: good effect and bad effects of robots in replacing human Jobs on: February 05, 2018, 04:26:25 PM
The good effect of robot replacing humans are on the high side because there are some jobs that are not good for human health so robot can take over that without any fear of health issue.

Still there are tasks that can be easily done by humans but are still being replaced by robots because robots are more efficient and they have a low possibility of failure. But I think the bad thing here is that there are still some cases that robots can't do that humans can, there are still some flaws and there is nothing perfect in this world.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: wait for bitcoin prices to go up on: February 05, 2018, 03:08:26 PM
In the same way that there was a fall at Christmas, now it is beginning to be due to the proximity of the Chinese New Year in which investors take money to buy gifts. In addition, in the first month of the year, the so-called Effect of January occurs in cryptocurrencies, but in reverse. So if I believe that in the coming months the bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies will increase again in general.

It always do. I still remember last year the price pumped at December and falls at the start of January. In the mid months the price starts again to pump as the price reached the ATH at that time. And then it experienced another fork and it falls back for some time and rise back up again and now reaching the ATH of all time. This dump will not be that long, the pump is coming soon.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Was Your Gambling in 2017? on: February 05, 2018, 02:40:40 PM
It was frustrating than last year. Last year, I can still stop myself from gambling since I have a tight schedule, I can't even manage to have fun sometimes because of that schedule but this year, it changes and it gives me more time to gamble and I can't stop myself. I am lucky I have someone with me that stops me and limit my money whenever I go out.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2018, 05:41:46 PM
well kids like to play, so something that can bring together bitcoin and gaming

like puzzle that when solved reveal a private key for example

it is important that kids start to learn early some basic economy, at least something about income and expenditure

i heard about a new law for some countries that will make it possible(to teach them basic economy) in schools

agree, because the kids love to play games, then we can introduce bitcoin through games, and now has been present a game application that is associated with the bitcoin. at least the kids will know the basis of bitcoin

The kids will play a game to earn bitcoin, another type of faucet which is not really that profitable, but yeah as a kid they will focus on the game not on the earnings but still, how can a kid learn the basics of bitcoin if they are just playing games? Doesn't make any sense right?
