81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: July 22, 2022, 07:48:27 AM
Already entered my predictions for this round thank you again jeremypwr and Sportsbet for hosting this,,, I stuck to my new tradition for the last 2 rounds,,, which is picking 3 or 4 favorites and then mostly going for the selection which I believe is the defender. Still I do not know if this is really the case (fighter on the left I see as defender) but let us see how that goes.

London is supposed to be 40 degrees, are these arenas using aircon? Smiley

83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: July 21, 2022, 10:08:53 AM
This is combat sport and I watched women compete for years in karate and kickboxing, and now in mma, no difference, it's just sports.
Cris Cyborg and Rose Namajunas are one of my favorite female mma fighters, and sometimes they can fight better than man.
I am not going to watch this Invicta event live, but I will follow what happened on their youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/InvictaFightingChampionships

I cannot really say I have a lot of experience,,, but in my short time watching women in sports I can actually say that they seem to bear pain much better or rather,,, they make a less big deal out of it. And injuries as well. MMA of course in general they are really good and has less fakery and whining than say in football or tennis but I feel men/women no difference in combat sport. They are more flexible and can be faster, and helps us imagine better how we would fight (due to speed and size they look more normal than the men). Wink

True leea!
There is a champions league special that is good for a little bit until kick off starts later on today:
Fenerbahce To Win & Both Teams To Score for 5.20x

There is not a market for BTTS + win so can not compare to see boosted but probably because when I checked for the Midtjylland to win +BTTS @4.10 that ralle14 posted earlier, the odds were 3.75x on the market listed.
So there is a slight boost for KTChampion's question whether they were or not.

Both specials did not hit I think, Fenerbahce might have won but to have BTTS was very tough as the odds did seem to reflect,,, and the same for the great team of Scandinavia, all they could do was to not lose.

I think these games are less about winning and more about not losing, when it comes to qualifications I would say?
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betnomi's Premier League Fantasy Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: July 21, 2022, 08:10:07 AM
Thank you for the invitation my friends! However,,, I have never played fantasy and I looked and it feels quite complicated for me Smiley

I do watch football but know very little about individual players, I guess you can call me a very surface fan in that sense only good for easy 1x2 gambles and very bad for anything extra Wink

Good luck however, maybe in future when I am more confident!
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin price and NFTs market on: July 21, 2022, 06:59:05 AM
That is what I said even back in November though, when ATH was happening I warned those who were waiting for 100k BTC that whatever the ATH price, when things crash,,, NFTs will crash even harder.

BTC and ETH are about 35% of their ATH right now which is not so bad if you think about it.

But NFTs? Lucky if you are at 10% of ATH!
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: July 20, 2022, 11:19:05 AM
Atletico Mineiro beat Botafogo, although it wasn't very easy, but they did it... But the most interesting match was between Sao Paulo and Fluminense, it was a good fight... The second match out of eight where both teams scored... And Juventude vs Goias was the only match where no goals were scored...
Palmeiras will probably win Cuiaba without any problems today...

And they did,,, meaning they cement their spot at the top and now have double the goal difference of the closest rival. Something that occurred to me today,,, is how little the GD is for this league, even after playing 17 games already the biggest GD is less than 1 per game.

The other interesting fact is the bottom team scored 15 goals, or almost 1 per game, which is more than half of the top team.

Very tight league I would say!
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the possibility Bitcoin will rise before the end of the year ? on: July 20, 2022, 09:51:12 AM
The news about Celsius going bankrupt and Russia getting anti-crypto again were supposed to cause more FUD, but the Bitcoin price actually went up a little bit, which is weird. I expect a global recession to strike in the second half of 2022. This means that the crypto winter would most likely continue for the next year and a half of maybe 2 years. The BTC price might increase temporarily to levels above 20K or even 25K, but there won't be enough bullish momentum to push the price up to 30K-40K. The greed and optimism on the crypto markets cannot reach the 2017 or 2021 levels. Just HODL and enjoy your life. There won't be any reason to keep an eye on the Bitcoin price everyday in the upcoming months.

I think it is just the tiredness from sellers,,, and a renewed interest from buyers. I do think it is weird but perhaps they are all expecting some bad news coming end of this month and would like to stage Bitcoin at a more safe level to survive a drop that will happen. Dropping 20% from 23k will not create a new low for 2022, whereas dropping 20% from 20k will.

This is just how I see it!
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 20, 2022, 09:06:18 AM
Yes the friendlies are just that, for fun!

Manchester united are playing against Crystal palace right now as I am watching it on that youtuber's channel I had mentioned in a previous post late last week.
They are 3-1 right now with approximately 15 minutes left in the match.
Martial, Sancho and Rashford all scored for the red devils so far. And Palace just pulled one back with a goal from Ward.
Yeah I never picked any of those Japan league selections for the free 4-3 and 6-6 just because I never had any knowledge in that league or interest.

Hopefully we get some UCL and EPL for those again once the season starts up again.

I just pick random 2-1s, the good thing about football is you do not need to know much about those selections just pick the middle ones (card in 20+ minute to 45) and 2 or 3 goals, and not too many corners. Or,,, well,,, since I do not win much maybe I should start going high!

Qualification games already started for UCL but I guess still at a very low stage for them to get their feature in 43free or bet66 Smiley
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you bothered about what happens to your Bitcoin when you are no more? on: July 20, 2022, 07:47:54 AM
I am pretty sure they understand the bitcoin wallets and how to access it. My phone is always accessible to everyone in my house (password protected). In addition to this they know how to use hardware wallet and they have their own wallets too. Geekies here Smiley

Moreover, if I accidently die, they know how to access it, if all of us accidently die then there is no question about it, consider them lost with us. Lolz.

Then you are a rare case indeed,,, family of geekies who know the password and access to your wallets and HDD is weird on 2 things. All being geekies,,, which is not so strange, but all having access to the private funds and data of each other? That does not add up. Geeks especially would be quite serious about that. And would use more complex methods like time lock.

I know they are your family, but the only way my family will ever know my password is if I die and they get a message in their will.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the $500 for? NFT or Coin! on: July 19, 2022, 01:28:29 PM
I would say there is no big difference now,,, 99% of coins have zero utility, same as NFTs.

And I have been very against NFTs but if one day you show me someone on this forum using an NFT for something other than jpg showing off,,, that would be the day I say your NFT has utility, go for it.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you bothered about what happens to your Bitcoin when you are no more? on: July 19, 2022, 11:01:55 AM
Anyways, I have my funds divided on mobile wallet, Ledger Nano X, and have back up stored on HDD's. I dont think there is any fear if I am gone one day because I will tell my wife or kids about it before I go away and if bitcoin still exists by that time. Not hardship I see.

Which would make it much harder for people to get your Bitcoin when you are alive,,, but even harder for loved ones to get it when you are dead.

Imagine asking them to just get access to your phone is hard enough, what more to tell them about different devices, different wallets,,, etc?

The number of people who die suddenly and their family is clueless about their inheritance is pretty high Smiley
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 19, 2022, 09:18:49 AM
Nice to see all the friendlies happening but nicer to know we are going to see the real thing soon.

94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: July 19, 2022, 07:53:29 AM
I had not come in here for so long I had to dig the thread up manually from the forum. I remember my browser used to remember the history of both threads. Anyway,,, commented in Serie A already and just want to repeat the appreciation for Sportsbet and everyone involved Smiley

Of course a new team will win the title this season,,, Barcelona and Real = boooring  Grin
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: July 19, 2022, 07:15:05 AM
Firstly thank you to all the great sponsors for making this happen again. I really cannot wait to get this going again!

Something weird of a coincidence I was planning for a BTC deposit to SB account (been using USDT for a while now) today and then this pools all happen, so making payments right now.

Such great news to hear and yes it's usually one of Serie A/Spanish threads that becomes active and we forget the other one, which is of course natural,,, since we are mostly the same people or are we even all the same people?

We should try and get a new person each to join!
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is leading the market to a monthly high... on: July 18, 2022, 12:07:42 PM
Well this could all go away very quickly if September date comes and goes without the merge happening easily or properly.

Still,,, great news for most people and let us see if this helps nullify the bad news coming everywhere else from non-crypto indicators.

Hopium is nice, just do not get addicted Wink

leea-1334 Trust me, if there were a week left to play and I didn't see your ass in there, I'd be messaging you.

Peer pressure. But don't worry yeah, I have a feeling we'll make next season good, am in contact with icopress, Trofo, others all in the background making stuff happen together. We're going to have a fun time!

I like peer pressure on this forum,,, there have been times I did not know about promos/stuff but see it in a PM from someone like you and I am happy to "know" about it.

These days,,, so many things going on it can be so hard to keep track. What a nice complaint to be making however!!

Looking forward to the time, hope it is not while we are all busy with normal league Smiley
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOLANA PRICE ANALYSIS: IS SOLANA'S $40 TARGET REALISTIC OR MYTHICAL? on: July 18, 2022, 08:58:08 AM
Of the people posting here,,, how many of you have actually used SOL for something? And no am not talking about transactions for trading, swapping etc Wink

$40 SOL or $4 SOL should not matter if you actually have a use for it. Like, what is your favorite SOL dapp? I know my favorite BTC apps/sites!
100  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: July 18, 2022, 08:11:18 AM
Sao Paulo vs Fluminense just finished 2:2 with exact score as I predicted in Sportsbet Prediction Contest Smiley
I said we are going to see goals and we did, but we also saw lot of yellow cards from both sides like it happens in big matches like this.
Palmeiras is still first in the table, but Fluminense and Sao Paulo are not falling back a lot with only 2 and 6 points less.
Next match for Sao Paulo is in few days against Internacional.

Well done for getting it on the spot,,, pretty tough to predict as usual these games, but it always seems when the big teams come together in South America you can count on a lot of goals, a lot of cards AND usually a lot of added minutes and magic time taken out from nowhere.

Do you watch these games also or just following them on betting? Like all those Brazil customers with crazy winning tickets Steve shares time to time.
