801  Economy / Reputation / Re: Russian moderator Xal0lex uses alt profile to insult forum members on: January 16, 2019, 08:59:48 PM
Xal0lex please clarify whether this is true or not.

I have never insulted anyone in this forum. Phetis is not my alt. I don't need alts to express my opinion. Moreover, I never answer insults in my direction. And they are enough. This user has a biased attitude towards me. We had some disagreements with him. All this is related to the topic of worldcore and the ban of the user Marina Uni for plagiarism, in due time.

The forum has hundreds of thousands of users. The dates of the last activity on the forum can be approximately the same for many users.
How can infer from the last activity that the accounts are alts?

Is this alts too?

.....................................................................

That's ridiculous.

That was sort of a two part question about a two part allegation. You only answered one part.

805  Economy / Reputation / Re: TMAN's thread for bitching about my tags. on: January 15, 2019, 08:29:55 PM

This is going well.

1st day... might get better for those who are tagged. In all likelihood not though, Figure these people need a chance to air any issues with me and better here than a shit ton of threads

Absolutely agree with your logic.
I'm not taking advantage of my shiny new DT status to post one liners, or desperately searching for 1 merit to get me to 1200-nice round number, but you may notice, here and there, clumsy attempts at humor coming from my direction in threads to do with Default Trust.
There's a lot of energy floating around at the mo as people suss the new Status Quo and I think it's important that people don't get too mouth frothy.
It's only a game, after all. (No exclusions pls for comparing DT to a game. I was referring to something far less important: life.)

Edit: Hahaha, I don't know whether you gave me that merit for the right reasons...

IF he hasn't been ninja editing
IF he has support of the Croatian community
I wouldn't argue with leniency.

One of the 'New Generation' Ponzi schemes, reinvented for a new crop of victims with an ETH "smart contract" attached, which admins claim means all is legit.....  Roll Eyes

Whether or not it will provide the data that you require I don't know, but this is essential reading on the state of play regarding exchanges and fake volume.

Kashking Ventures.....sounds legit.
812  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Exchanges and fake volume on: January 14, 2019, 09:26:59 PM

This is worth a read on this subject.

If you look at the proliferation (!= decentralization) of exchanges, the ICO excesses of last year and the re-definition of "adoption" as increasing levels of derivative speculative tools, it's no wonder that crypto idealists are (inevitably?) becoming disillusioned with the 'development' of crypto.
Have the lunatics taken over the asylum?
813  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 14, 2019, 08:15:46 PM

This is quite a sociological phenomenon currently playing out: our internal political climate has changed overnight, from analogous with early Middles Ages Britain to 15th century Italian Renaissance, with a dash of Prisoner's Dilemma chucked in for good measure.
When BTC is $500,000 a pop, I'll be in the back of my chauffeured stretch Lambo, doing podcasts about it on the History Channel, entitled
"I was there: Tales from BCT DT, in the Days before we knew Cryptohunter was really Satoshi"
814  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 14, 2019, 07:21:33 PM
yes because if there are 2 unknowns added every month, we ~ and they retaliate with ~.. how long till the whole of DT-1 is full of excluded people?

The ultimate in decentralization  Cheesy
815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just wonder'n? on: January 14, 2019, 07:05:49 PM

Having my own signature gives me far more smug and sanctimonious self satisfaction than mere BTC payments ever could.  Cheesy

I have always disliked wearing labels supplied by third parties, whether on my posts on a forum or on a shirt on my back.

I (nearly) always have a device logged on, whether I'm paying attention is another matter.

As for the rest of your curiosity, MYOB.

816  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 14, 2019, 05:11:54 PM
Not only the DT2 is too large but not any more so relevant for something "to trust", let's be honest. Take a look at the list and tell me then how many users do you trust?

DT2 members are there because they are trusted by DT1 member(s).
DT1 members are there because they are trusted by others.
If you trust a DT1 member's judgement, why shouldn't that trust extend to those that he/she in turn trusts (unless specifics indicate otherwise) whether you personally know them or not?

817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ARBITRAGING: Crypto Profit Trading Platform | HOT ICO! on: January 14, 2019, 01:26:06 PM
I think it's a Google thang Gleb, using instant translate converts the characters from cyrillic to Latin equivalents but doesn't actually translate them into English, whereas using Google translate directly does. The flaw in this theory is the totally translated last sentence....  Huh

Re: Arbitraging, according to Telegram they're offline again.
Depending on one's level of cynicism, this could indicate determined and ongoing efforts to get it functioning perfectly, or be a process of normalizing outages to avoid panic fund withdrawals, prior to the final OUT-age.....

As you have noticed the exchange is offline temporarily. In our last announcement, we notified you and did in fact perform major updates and fixes to ensure stability of the system and trading conditions. Since opening the exchange, we’ve found a new issue and it is being addressed. We apologize for the delay in the announcement. It has taken us a little time to communicate this to our community because we thought that it was going to be a quick fix. However, we need to correct it and run some tests to assure all updates, patches and security are functioning properly. Rest assured that we are working hard to correct the issue and bring everything back online as soon as possible.
818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short now = make lots of money? on: January 14, 2019, 01:00:29 PM

"Overbought and "oversold" are words used without meaning unless they are accompanied by relevant analysis, either technical or fundamental.
Just because an instrument or asset has fallen (even a long way) in value doesn't make it oversold, or vice versa.
Traditional fundamental analysis was developed for financial instruments like stocks and shares and relies largely on comparative P/E ratios to provide a quantitative overview. Some people, me included, find it difficult to apply fundamental analysis to crypto.
Technical definitions of these terms are mathematically based and involve the use of tools such as RSI with confirmation from other indicators.
Here's a couple of 101 primers

If I supported a project, it was based upon "POTENTIAL" how much they paid

FTFY.

The reason you're so outraged all of a sudden is the recent change in the trust system, which makes the feedback left previously by ICOEthics and me now visible, as we are now both in Default Trust.

The fact is that you have and will post and support any old shit for payment, including scams like VEIAG which is what I gave you negative trust for.
You didn't only post their ANN, you supported the thread for three months completely ignoring the huge red flags I raised in it, even questioning whether I had read their obviously fake WP
Quote from: FutureICO's
I think there are far too many people who don't visit the site and ask things that comes to their mind, it probably creates the problem.
When they went dark, you continued to post pages of their PR memes before locking it and changing the title to Outdated Thread presumably to fuck it up for anyone searching "VEIAG".
That's why I left you negative trust, and it's staying, despite your bullshit pm to me claiming they hadn't paid you. That what happens when you deal with scammers, they scam everybody and people like you help them.
I'm not talking for Marlboroza, he's quite capable himself, but I was going to leave you negative trust for your Arbitao post (which I commented on disparagingly) because you posted it on July 9th.
If you had the remotest interest in the honesty of the schemes you promote, then you'd have known thru a 5 minute search that there was a big SCAM ACCUSATION against Arbitao already on the forum, opened over three weeks before you made that shill post (as well as serious doubts being raised in their ANN thread).

Tl,dr:  Posting and shilling for shit schemes for money, no questions asked, is as bad as running them.
