801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: February 28, 2017, 06:35:13 PM
Does anyone know gambling sites where you can invest cause I don't know the names?
i prefer that duckdice is very popular site nowadays and there is very interesting games and duckdice is very easy and modern gambling site I hope you will make your profit easily form duckdice.

I second you on the duck dice proposition but I think he was rather looking to invest in setting up a gambling website and not to play on an already established dice site.
Yes he is looking for best investment sites, My opinion doesn't rush in this process, before investing on any new site better check all information about site and site performance. Because it's very hard to trust new sites in the beginning. So if you want to invest better invest on old casino sites, your profit will be less, but your investment will be safe.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we encourage anyone to develop self control in order to minimize gambling? on: February 28, 2017, 06:27:47 PM
Self control is within everybody and no one needs to be told to be self control by default, its in everyone the attitude we display towards it is what differs as what might be self control to me, might be within the acceptance region of another person. In the case of gambling, I dont think its necessary because the assumption I have concerning anyone engaging in gambling is that he / she is fully responsible for his action so if the result should come out of self control or lack of it, he/she should be ready for its consequence.
But I believe, suggesting to have self control is more important for gamblers than anyone else. Unlike any other industry, gambling gives us extra pressure that is the reason people are losing their coolness and act based on their emotions. I guess no other field is such a emotionally controlling us to lose our self control.
Yes gambling will give more tension, Other business people will not get this much tension. In gambling it is instant money loss, so people will not control their emotions. And it will make them lose more money in the row. But this self-control we can not encourage to others they only learn how to control their emotions. And when they learn means when people lose all money and wallet empty then they realise and they start to control their emotions.
803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: February 27, 2017, 06:55:47 PM
Well than 95% to 5% ratio definitely scares me, and tells the reason why I always end up with a loss.

The one thing which I've learned with my trading is that, trading can't workout as a secondary job. You have to have full focus. Good knowledge of what you're buying and why you think its going to have its value increased in near future is definitely required. Without knowledge, there is a good chance that you'll end up being in that 95% losers.

Yep. For the majority of the people 'trading' should be nothing more than an occasional practice. If you just stick to buy low and sell high, then it's more than enough for the average person. Frequent traders put themselves into greater risks as they try to benefit from basically every market situation. If you lack proper market understanding, then it's basically a losing game from there as you can't endlessly depend on luck to help you.

The trading is not like gambling, and we should put more focus on this method. This is a very risky method but once you get an idea how to trade and what time to trade then this is an easy method to make money from Bitcoin. The more important thing is you should always keep one eye on market price because complete trading depends on market price. If you show laziness here, you will end with the big loss.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: February 27, 2017, 06:50:25 PM
Some people prefer bitcoin over fiat because on some places bitcoin is tax free. I guess it's not bad to use bitcoin for something as long as you're not breaking any law/rules from your place. There's much more misuses of btc but if we continue this discussion it's getting kinda off topic when the title is about bitcoin and fiat.
Yes the best reason to choose bitcoin over fiat is because of its taxless ability . You can earn more in bitcoin not just because it's value is changing faster than fiat but also it has no tax. In bitcoin you can save because you can have wallet like coin.ph where you can paybills, buyload or even convert it if you need money. Also im bitcoin you can trade and invest because there is lot of things that bitcoincan do than fiat.
Why more Bitcoin users prefer bitcoin over fiat means first reason is yes Bitcoin is taxless and to use bitcoin there is no restriction. And now we got a lot of options to make money from Bitcoin. And the price is also helping people to use more bitcoin over fiat. And one more thing is in some country the currency value is very less for them this bitcoin will giving nice profit. So people started to use Bitcoin than fiat currency.
805  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 27, 2017, 06:44:49 PM
I am earning bitcoins through faucets and with hyip investments
i think faucets are waist of time and i do not have any idea about hyip . i think the best way of earning bitcoin is trading and if you have do not have such money, then you can earn money from the signature campaign.  may be a little but a stable income.
Bitcoin trading is a good way to make money through Bitcoin. But it requires trading skills without experience doesn't try this, some people will cheat you. And investment also good way to make money if you have huge money. But it requires patience to make money in investment. 100% income is signature campaign without investing you can make bitcoins.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: February 27, 2017, 06:40:48 PM
Because of the great current bitcoin price anyone who has biger amount of coins probably feels rich and having these coins gives him a feeling of beeing secured so it's not easy to give them away and spend them. On the other hand for security reasons those people are probably worried for their bitcoins. So it's cruical to find some balance among storing and spending bitcoins.
Nothing to worry with storing and spending of bitcoin, because the wallets were good and much secure with high security features. So saving is not a big deal and when it comes to spending just direct spending or a cyclic process of bitcoin circulation makes the path towards a mainstream usage.
Spending bitcoin can sometimes be against bitcoin, because if there is a demand on the bitcoin in the market and that demand is constantly satisfied the prices of the bitcoin will fo down, but if there is a demand and not much people selling bitcoin or spending it then the prices will go up which makes saving bitcoin is a good thing.
yes, spending Bitcoin will affect on bitcoin price if more people start to spend bitcoin there is a chance to go down in bitcoin price. But if you not spend coins and keep in your wallet, no bitcoin transaction happen then bitcoin price may go up. So saving bitcoin is good for normal people.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC overtake gold this month ? on: February 27, 2017, 06:35:16 PM
I think bitcoin will overtake later the gold but not today for sure.
Today 1139$ the BTC and 1242 the gold.
But of course when you see that bitcoin goes up really fast, he will overtake the gold who doesn't go up.

I don't think it will overtake this month or even next month but still there is a big chance or possibility bitcoin will overtake it. Price difference is almost or less than a $100 dollars and it is narrowed from time to time.I think within the first half of 2017 it will happen.

Just 100$ is not matter. The Bitcoin price may up at any time. Compare to last month we got $100+ hike in bitcoin price. So a coming month it may cross 1200$. I have hope, but I am not sure. If the price does not go down to 1000$, then there is a possibilities are there to beat the gold price. let's see how many days it will take to overtake gold price.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: February 26, 2017, 06:18:27 PM
I think that usually a guy which play games for a long time, risk to became a gambler addicted. Which method you use for stop plaiyng when you understand that you are near to became addicted?

For example, i don't play a lot or for long time (i play games spot during my free time), so i have no idea about, but i trade forex all day and when i had a significant  loss i usually turn off my Pc and i go out for a drink , just for not run behind loss.

Not all gamblers are having the same thinking and thoughts. Because there are some gamblers they gamble for pass time only, or for fun. And others they do gamble because they have a personal problems, so I don't playing gamble for a long time is not a sign of gambling addiction. Thanks and God bless Smiley

You are right, some rich people will do full day gambling, there intention is not to make money they will just play for fun and time pass. and I also play just for my entertainment not to make money. But sometimes in holidays, i will spend more time in gambling, But I am not addicted gambler. I have control on my play. So we can not consider that those who play more time gambling they are addicted gambler.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: February 26, 2017, 06:14:14 PM
It can not be profitable in the long term not matter what you bet on.
The house always win in the long run, you won't find yourself betting for years and still counting up profits, you can end up not losing alot but you will still be in a minus at the end.

You are right , Since usually simple dice games are more common to make gambling because chances of the outcome are have about 6 different outcomes . And each gambling casino site is scripted with house edge factor .
But still beside of such types of house edge like things you can make gambling for sports games , in which your win or loss depends upon the outcomes for real life games , But still these are not much profitable in most of the cases for long run .
So if you are addicted in gambling then never play for KO g time , always give a distance of one day or night any play again with small bets .
The sports betting also we can not predict the right bet in nowadays because we are getting so many unexpected results in all games. Here also making a long run depends on your luck. But compare to slot games you can make some money in sports betting depends on your sports knowledge. If you are a pro in all sports, you can make money in sports betting.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: February 26, 2017, 06:09:53 PM
Investing in casino's bankroll is one very good long-term investment.

But, you need to:
- Able to afford losing it. Like in every investment.
- Choose very carefully casinos.
- Able to not touch it for >6 months.
The last point is simply not true, many casinos allow you to withdraw your money any time you want and you done need to be invested with them for any fixed periods of time, but it is true that the longer you maintain your investment in the casino the chances of turning a profit get higher.
Yes now all casinos are allowing investors to withdraw their money at any time. Only some old casinos have this condition. And yes if you have big capital investment is the best source to make a profit in the long term. But you must choose the right casino to invest, and you keep on track your investment. Becasue nowadays the reputed casinos suddenly they will turn into a loss. So be careful before investing any casino site.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: February 26, 2017, 06:05:34 PM
Hi guys i just want to share my experience in gambling which is i am still playing since january but never made any profit with this game.. any other tricks settings and methods are already tried but still now never made any profits..
What you can suggest to me i will still continue to gamble in dice game with other methods or just stop gamble..Huh

when you play in the gambling site don't expect that you will earn in the games for a quick action. And Whatever trick you will use it will be useless only. In every gambling profitable is hard to gain it, So if I were you stay away from it. Or else in the end you will loss money only.

Yes you are right when you play gambling don't expect any profit, just play and enjoy the game. If you are playing gambling to make money then it is wrong you just stay away from gambling. Becasue gambling is not made for to earn money. And you are asking winning methods in Dice game, and it is not possible to get winning strategies in a dice game. It purely depends on your luck.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: February 26, 2017, 06:01:05 PM
What kind of games is arbitrage betting? It seems it is really the safest and easiest way as described above posts to make profit in gambling, can you give me some of examples? I want to try cause I'm still hoping to make profits just by playing gmable games. Thanks
For example: You are betting on 2 sites on the same tennis match.
Site 1 has odds for player A 1.9X and for player B 2.1X
Site 2 has odds for player A 2.1X and for player B 1.9X

If you place 1BTC bet in site 1 on player B, and 1BTC bet in site 2 on player A, and player A wins, than you will lose 1BTC in site 1, and you will win 2.1BTC in site 2, and vice versa.
Your profit will be 0.1BTC and you can't lose.
The idea is good, but this method will work in the real game. Because for example in a cricket match, The match b/w Austrailia vs. Bangladesh. If you take any site odds, Aus will get high odds, and Bangla will get low odds in this scenario how you will split your bets? Can you please explain. Is there any possibilities are there to safe our bets in this scenario.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: February 23, 2017, 05:42:15 PM

To hear me out of this situation, most of the gambler who already doubled their bankroll, they became more aggressive to play in gambling especially if they win most often in the game round.  Because they've been thinking that its there lucky day and believing they can take home a lot of money at the end of the games.

That's the start of becoming a hardcore gambler more.

People that won big amount thru gambling really likes the feeling of being a winner. Obviously, most of the gamblers wants that to happen again and again so they keep on playing thinking lightning strikes not one but multiple times. And the next chapter is obvious now.

Saving the profit made from gambling is really hard since gamblers wants that to be doubled more. That's how powerful is gambling is when taking over people's choice if to continue to play more or not.

I don't save my winnings from gambling and yeah is really hard. I will immediately pay someone a debt if I have one or I just pay something out of my winnings. Because its really hard to save  the profit because for sure you will come back to the casino to play again and hope that you will win big but  the opposite always happens.

That is why you don't play with your winnings. Save them and you use that money in times of need, like when you get a long losing streak. That winnings can be used to offset your losses. But then again, what if you win some more and double, triple or quadruple it. The decision is quite hard to make. But we have to save it instead.

Our first intention in gambling is we save our capital. I will do like this if I win any big bet I will save my capital and will play only with my winnings. If I double my winning, i will use that winning money for my personal needs. But if I lose my winning I will not play again with my capital. Will start my new game in some other time.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy and Lost in GAMBLE on: February 23, 2017, 05:37:12 PM
Hello   Smiley

I was wondering if you have any strategy when betting and what's your biggest lost

Cheers !
Most effective is martingdale strategy but it's up to you if you follow that strategy and don't be greedy it can cause you to lose all your money be contented.

I beg to disagree to you with, please don't get offend or mad at me, I'm just giving my reason anyway. There is no effective method while doing gamble in the gambling sites even martingale is not that effective as everybody says here. Because if that is true, is supposed to be that all gambler who used martingale are now rich, but still no they're not rich still relying on their luck.
In gambling no strategy is 100% right, you must try to find your luck in all strategies. If you have luck, your strategies will help you to make money. If you have bad luck then no strategy will work, your result will be a loss. But the martingdale strategy is quite better to compare other strategies in slot games. Here you should be very careful when you use this martingale method. 4 or 5 loss will make your wallet empty in this method.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 23, 2017, 09:06:35 AM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

Read more: http://www.nasdaq.com/article/does-the-price-of-bitcoin-matter-cm476312#ixzz3a1cH4qcU
Price is very important for any currency, not only digital currencies like bitcoin and other altcoins, even for fiat money.Mostly the price matters to traders, but for this people who are getting bitcoin and converting them to fiat money after reciving, it matters mostly to them than who trading.
yes the value is important for all currencies including fiat and digital currency. If it doesn't have value, then no one will use that, and no one will care about that currency. Just convert BTC into your local currency if it more than your fiat currency value you will use BTC. if the value is less than your fiat currency, then you will not entertain that currency. So the price is matter in all type of currencies.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: February 23, 2017, 09:01:44 AM
Fiat is the one that has given the best financial service for all our needs. If fiat is not there the system will collapse entirely, so fiat will rule the world even when bitcoin and other currencies increase in acceptance.

The bitcoin will also have good financial service in the future.
In future, it may be. But at present, the fiat currency is ruling the world. Anywhere in world fiat will be acceptable. But Bitcoin is not acceptable. And only in few place bitcoin is acceptable that too in only a few shops. But I too have hope that in future Bitcoin will become more popular and all country will accept bitcoin. But I don't have hope that Bitcoin will replace fiat currency.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: February 23, 2017, 08:58:12 AM

--snip--

To me investing bitcoins means that I give them to somebody and get back a larger amount later. At least if the person I give it to is a honest one.
I would never do that, simply because the risk of getting back nothing is way too high.
Trading does not count as an investment for me, because there I simply exchange my coins.
No other person who could make me false promises about profit is involved.

I am sure that lending money is not investment, but in bitcoin world there are not banks to do that. People who do this job that is, giving loans are called money lenders and is almost sure that some of the borrowers will disappear and will not ever return their loan. In bitcoin world is usual to ask for a collateral like as banks do with fiat money. Moreover, there are dedicated sites like as https://btcjam.com/ but before someone gives his bitcoins must be understand that it's a risky process. Investment is the same process like as we use fiat money. So if you see bitcoin as a digital asset, buy it today and you believe that some time in the future will give you more money than you had given to buy it, then it's an investment.

if you want investment use lending system
is compare btcjam and bitcointalk (lending section) i think is good rate and good safe use bitcointalk
in bitcointalk system can use collateral every person want loan, so youre capital money is safe and rate you can open high rate
but investment does not guarantee that the money invested would be an advantage, because the investment risks but also has a small. so, when it all does not fit with what you want, then, would be very difficult to repay the loan you took. if you want an investment, an investment in something that you think will make a profit, and do not do it with loans.
Correct when we invest we hope we did a good job choosing the business to invest our money but at the end of the day there is no way to know if you are going to make any money out of it.

Yes and its very hard to find any trusted place to invest our bitcoins as it doesn't involve any face to face agreements or paper work which makes it even more risky and once the bitcoins has been sent from wallet there is no chance of getting it back so fingers are always crossed unless we don't see any returns coming from it.
i think you can find a lot of trusted alt coin where you can invest your bitcoin with out any fear, and still if you are feeling reluctant to invest your money in alt coin then you can simple hold bitcoin and it it will also give you a good profit.

Investing in reputed altcoins is not risky as you will invest in it only after doing a proper home work but apart from that those sites who promises to give good returns by investing seems to be impossible as they will surely scam you and run away in long run with your funds so its better not to invest our bitcoins in those sites and instead save them for future without doing anything with it.

What is the use to keep our coins in our wallet long time? You mean in future the price of bitcoin will become double the present price, and we can sell our coins that time. Is there any guarantee that bitcoin price will not fall? See any business is a risk. if you do not take risk you cannot make money in business.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: February 23, 2017, 08:52:48 AM
The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments.  Smiley
I think the best investment strategy is through spreading your money through various investments. It gives less risk if one investment falls down. It would also help you to earn more since in every investment, there is always potential which you may get more chance of profit if you would take many of oppurtunities.
yes i also have the same strategy i also want to invest my assets in different business, as i do not want to put all the eggs in one put as it is more risky and by diversifying the investment ensure the income from different sources.
If you want in multiple businesses, then you need big capital. And you are looking to invest in casino sites you need more coins to make a decent profit. Suppose if you have 5 BTC you can spill it into 3 reputed casino, but your earning will be very less compare to trading. So my opinion is if you are looking for long term profit with decent capital then better go with this method.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 23, 2017, 08:47:35 AM
Sometimes i became rich when i win thrice in a row because of playing in a game. So therefore riching side that is part of luck and your destiny to become a rich person in the world.

Does it mean that you are treating yourself when you are winning in a row? Maybe you are winning thousand of dollars in that row so you can treat yourself rich now. I accepted the fact that I can't be rich in gambling if I will remain a normal gambler but if I will be part of the casino as an investor with big investment to them, probably I can be.
Investors will not get more profit, and they get an only certain percentage of profit. And huge investment on casino sites also not good. We are not sure about online casinos. So yes I also agree with gambling be normal gambler it is not possible to become rich. But if you can able to create your own casino site you have a chance to become rich.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: February 23, 2017, 08:31:25 AM
Hi guys!
Gambling is nearly as old as the humanity itself. What was your way to start gambling?
How did it go? How long have you been gambling? Have you ever stopped for a while? Do you see any future in gambling?
Let others know and share your stories! Wink

I don't know if this will be considered as gambling but I will share my own story anyway  Smiley

Gambling in my life started with me learning how to play card games like poker. I learned through watching the elders play this game. On weekends, after they had their own lunch, the elders would gather on a house where they would sit around a table and play. Me and my cousin would stand there watching how they shuffle cards, arrange their cards, call their cards and etcetera. At first, I did not understand how they do it but my curiosity keeps on telling me to wait for the weekend to come and continue watching the elders play. Now, I can play with the elders and keep up to them. I like playing with the elders as it teaches me new strategies and it also made me feel like I am really good at this as I can keep up with them now  Smiley .

Good start, card games are very interesting to learn, and it's good time pass. But real card games and online gambling card games will give different experience. How my gambling started means when I was in college, i do sports betting with friends. It's direct cash betting. When I got to know about bitcoin, then my online gambling life is started.
