801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: August 13, 2023, 05:04:07 PM
I will now lock this thread since the discussion is already going to the direction which is not aligned to my preference. Thank you to all of your contributions.

As of this writing, I'm still experiencing those scenarios which makes me win and lose using specific amount of bankroll. This mindset of mine is very hard to change and correct during the actual game that makes me repeat same mistakes even though I knew already the winning formula that works for me.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 13, 2023, 02:37:58 PM
Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.
I also started playing slots with good return. It's not much as i'm just an average gambler but the fact that I managed to increase my funds makes me think that it's quite easy to win BUT that is if only you're lucky.

Slot game is the worst game for me because of its RTP and very unusual RNG for determining the result. You will lose more than you gain if you keep playing because of the house edge. It’s better to stop playing already once you experience early win instead of continuing the game for an aim to win more which always turns into a disaster.

having a decent bankroll is an edge so you'll not get busted early after few spins since you can't tell when will luck might hit you.

A decent bankroll means you will having more loss. There’s no guarantee that you can win in longer games since the result is pure random. You can win huge amount on your 10 spins or 100000 spin.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: August 13, 2023, 02:32:38 PM
<snip>
Just as the concept of "meme" can lose its humor over time, these coins could also lose their appeal among users. This is one reason why I think they may not have a bright future unless these projects incorporate more use cases and address blockchain issues. Currently, I believe it's wise to exercise caution when considering them.

Actually, meme coin is already not being use as meme. Sure they are using memes as motif for their tokens but most them has different utilities than the intended memes. Meme is just using something popular to make a name then forget about it and focus on hypin the price.

Doge meme coin from shiba dog is not popular anymore yet this token is still hype because of Elon musk. Meme coin is already not a meme coin.
804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any legit bitcoin mining apps? on: August 12, 2023, 05:23:47 PM
Hi but if you are looking for a website that give free BTC and been running for so long or one of the oldest website then freebitco.in is where you should be visiting.

Faucet is not worthy to invest time anymore. I’d rather focus my energy and free time on games and other form of entertainment instead of solving captcha and earns less than a penny in a very limited time. This can be considered as waste of time too if your goal is to earn some profit.

If you have money for it then why not do it but it you don't have the money for it then don't.

I doubt a guy like OP that looking for an online mining apps will be interested on purchasing expensive rigs and do a complex mining farm setup. He is the typical guy wants a profit from a lazy way or else he will not look for an apps for his convenience to earn passively.
805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: August 12, 2023, 05:14:35 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5463005.0
I hope my patience can be exchanged for the smooth withdrawal and support of the cloudbet team

Most of the case same like yours usually resolved without the Cloudbet response here in the forum. All of them just patiently wait for the Cloudbet response from live support and email for the result. No one can help you here in the forum since Cloudbet is not active here

The only time we can help you is if Cloudbet denied your withdrawal without any reasonable explanation. Just keep asking them for an update to your case. Your story of very lucky on slot games is always the one that ends up with investigation and take long time to resolved.
806  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: decentralized exchanage for p2p on: August 12, 2023, 04:22:00 PM
Question
this are the only two legit DEX I know for p2p and so I will like to know other DEX that are good for Kyc p2p ?

https://hodlhodl.com/, agoradesk and https://peachbitcoin.com/ are P2P exchange I have positive experience for decentralized P2P aside from Bisq. Most of them has less competitive rates but worth it considering how you can dodge KYC and use a p2p platform without relying on a centralized service.
807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not A Crypto Trading Tournament Like Having FIFA eWorld Cup on: August 12, 2023, 02:04:09 PM
Now as an older adult and a cryptocurrency enthusiast, it was thrilling to stumble on some blog articles on Crypto tournaments like CryptoWars, a blockchain-based strategy game that allows players to build and battle armies of digital warriors. Players purchase, trade, and battle their warriors using a variety of digital currencies. The game seem to be designed to be a fun and engaging way to learn about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. But I imagine an event where actual cryptocurrency traders from every corner of the globe can join in the competition to compete for a grand prize. I don't know if there are crypto enthusiast out there already engaging in similar events other than Bets and casino events using Blockchain platforms, that seem to be the popular blockchain events I find around.

If you are not aware on NFT games and other DeFi shit then you should research more about them because all that you mentioned is already become idea and materialized on a certain NFT games.

Crypto trading tournaments usually launch on exchange. There’s a lot of tournaments from different exchange that let fight against traders in terms of trading volume and win rate. There’s also a PVP on Kucoin before that let you compete with other players for on the spot predictions.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin F*cking ETF on: August 11, 2023, 04:51:30 PM
Does Bitcoin need ETFs approved to grow in price? Definitely not. Bitcoin has in the space of 1 years drown faster than any other financial speculation and all that without any ETFs. Adoption has also not slowed down in any way due to lack of institutional investors.

The more traction we give to the discussion the more influence we give the SEC over the price of Bitcoin based on their decision to accept or reject an ETF bid.

- Jay -

I agree with you, and I really don't know the majority of people that are in support of this ETF, but it really doesn't make much sense to me. Bitcoin is doing just fine without the ETF, and it's still going to do better even without the said ETF.

Agreed, I remember last year Bitcoin Futures ETF was approved and this one type of ETF that everyone is looking forward to be approve since this ETF hype arise on crypto space yet it doesn't change anything nor give huge impact on the price.

People is just using this news as things to look forward for better hype of the market even though it won't give a significant impact to the Bitcoin.

811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 11, 2023, 10:30:17 AM
Am I right that the most favorite teams on the FIBA are Canada, USA and Australia? I didn’t check the odds on sportsbook but looking on the roster of FIBA country participants shows that they are the country that have the most NBA players on their team especially Canada that is full pack with current best scorer like Murray and Shai.

I think Canada has a chance to demolish US because there's no veteran player that will lead them on the floor.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: August 10, 2023, 04:03:32 PM
Do you know how you know you are addicted to gambling or not?
Well if you stop gambling completely and you feel independently fulfilled and relaxed,
then you are not addicted. But if you become restless, irritated or even angry to people you most
likely are addicted to gambling.

I doubt that you can stop gambling when you are addicted since it’s very hard to notice the symptoms due to the addictive nature of gambling. The only way for a compulsive gambler to stop is if someone help him to change or he doesn’t have any money to gamble.

I believe the gambler is not on completely addicted state if he can still evaluate what’s going on and evaluate what he needs to do.
813  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As an undergraduate, is it advisable to invest my trustfund in Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2023, 10:54:02 AM
I talked to my classmate, and he said I could learn about it on my own because there's a lot of information out there. That's how I ended up finding this forum. So, here's what I want to know: Is it a good idea if I use the money I've saved up from 3 years of my trust fund to buy Bitcoin?

Who is the source of your money in the trust fund and is your money on your savings is not for your school expenses? I believe buying Bitcoin is really a good idea if the money you will be investing on Bitcoin is just personal savings and not for your school expenses.

Bitcoin is very good investment to fight inflation because it’s value is not related to fiat while the supply is very limited. Your Bitcoin will surely grow in fiat value when inflayion hits hard. But you should be aware that Bitcoin is not an instrument of wealth or something. Bitcoin is an which doesn’t affected by inflation. Bitcoin price grow because fiat value is decreasing while the demand for it is increasing due to its limited supply.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 07, 2023, 04:32:59 PM
I don't get why a lot of people are really amazed on how AIs can do things. Without human touch and input, AIs will not function to a human's liking and would be more of a liability than a tool. In sports betting, those who are versed in the game are more likely to do better decision-making than an AI who can only crunch numbers that is fed on to it by a human or another machine. AIs can do a lot of cool things in terms of automated betting, but I wouldn't depend on it 100% to bet on my behalf in sports.

Because not everyone can do a thorough analysis on sports because you will need to watch or become updated on all happenings to get the best analysis while you can do this only by focusing on it with a lot of time which everyone doesn’t have.

AI analysis will benefits those bettors that don’t have a good analysis skills. I’m sure this AI technology doesn’t give much interest to sports expert but this tool is a blessing to normal user that wants to bet on sports with a good analysis on picks.
815  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why don't land-based casinos have an online version? on: August 07, 2023, 04:27:05 PM
What seems the problem of the land based casinos is accepting cryptocurrency. Even when they have online version, they still stick to fiat.

This is due to their license. Unlike the typical crypto company that use Curacao license to operate freely with crypto currency. Most of land based casino has a license limited to the country they are established. Using crypto currencies might not be included on their local license or they don’t want to invest on cryptocurrency at all since they re traditional business that typically avoid risk of volatility in cryptocurrency.

Some of them create difficulties company and register separately a casino that accepts cryptocurrency just like 1xbet and their sister company 1xbit and more.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: August 07, 2023, 03:11:28 PM
And I don't see Crawford as well having problems making that 154 lbs, it's going to be easy for him. But as what the majority thinks, it could be another beating.

This is for sure. Spence will surely have less speed with increase weight while their match against Crawford was the main issue is the counter punch of being so accurate despite Spence aggression. Crawford jab kill Spence on their match and I doubt too that an increase weight will be a huge decisive factor on match like Crawford show to us. Spence is not the same after the accident. His punch doesn’t have any weight unlike before.

I think the result will be different if the fight happened before the accident which Spence actual prime. A very one sided match is very unattractive for a rematch.
817  Economy / Gambling / Re: A reminder for gamblers to avoid FortuneJack (ongoing lawsuit, 120k usd stolen) on: August 07, 2023, 03:04:55 PM

instead of showing evidence your focus has been on threatening people, insulting people because according to you they are from the third world and are on this forum to make money doing shitpost
What threats? Can you be more specific? Yes I threatened to bring a lawsuit and I did. As for the real justice, I’ll leave that up to God. Their fortune is only temporary and the delay of justice in that matter is only in God’s hand.
And yes I see it all the time here people making money shitposting.

All of this nonsense questioning your goal here will be avoided if you only provide proof for your actual lawsuit case against FJ. There’s no law that makes sharing a lawsuit confidential since this being tackle on a public trial.

You have no proof for your claim here that’s why your thread becomes full of post that ask you same question that you didn’t answer precisely. If you are still waiting then just lock this thread and wait for the result to release because your thread is more like fake threat instead of a reminder because there’s no supporting evidence over your case.
818  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: August 07, 2023, 02:09:31 PM

Around the internet I have seen anonymous groups of people, specially on Imageboards who have managed to identify potential criminals and people doing bad deeds only using as resource some pictures taken by the suspect himself and other digital leftover data, meta data of the pictures, etc.

The longest a casino operates and the biggest volume it has, it becomes increasingly difficult for their owners to stay in the shadows. I bet there are enough on-chain transaccions from and out Betnomi to link some wallets to exchange addresses and therefore, someone's identity. Even though I am in for privacy, I am not a supporter of taking other's money this way.

Betnomi also launch their giveaway with Ledger through raffle here in the forum. They ship personally the package to all the winners. The identity and address of the sender of the prize might be use as a clue to find the real owner because surely that person is working for Betnomi and has an information that will lead to the owner identity.
819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: August 06, 2023, 07:03:18 PM
Prediction sometimes demonstrates to be precise but most of the time prediction are not accurate and in the case of bitcoin everyone said that price will go more than 35k$ these days but unfortunately it again return back to 28k$ or 29k$ .

There’s no accurate / consistent prediction. Someone might predict the price but there’s no way he can predict multiple times because technical analysis is just reading and analyzing previous data but there’s no guarantee that it’s connected with the future outcome since price is easily affected by news which no one can predict.

Most of the analysts is just predicting random numbers just to hype the market for their own personal interest. Price prediction shouldn’t be considered as reference to your personal trade. Always dyor.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if USDT falls down? on: August 06, 2023, 06:19:19 PM
We know that USDT is coming back from the most horrific situations from the past. But I want you to answer this, what do you do if someday without any signs USDT falls back to 0.1-0.2$? What do you do? Can you survive in this situation? What do you do if you put all your assets in USDT?

Afaik, USDT still doesn’t suffer any horrific events before because the only time they suffer a noticeable depeg is during the time when USDC depeg significantly due to the banks storing their reserves encounter some issue. But USDT on the other hand doesn’t have any direct issue aside from the old criticism to them for not being transparent.

Their recent issue might be the first time for them to encounter a serious problem but crypto market will surely recover quickly since there’s a lot of stable coin available as alternative.
