801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 10, 2024, 10:57:55 PM
these are today's verdicts in the Italian Cup. In the Roman derby Lazio won 1-0 against Roma, while Milan fell at San Siro. Now we're just waiting for the Juventus - Frosinone match
I don't know about you, but how nice would it be to see a Lazio - Frosinone semi-final?
even if it will be very difficult for Juventus to lose a match like this in their stadium
I am not even imagining that because I know that is not going to happen. Despite Juventus engagement in the league title, this match shouldn’t be a distraction to them and find a hard time winning this match. Their next round of the cup is the one I feel will give them a little tough time to score since they’re playing the match against Lazio. Lazio have also being a great team this season and have been performing outrageously well and are currently on the seventh position on the table ahead of Roma and Napoli who are also one of the best teams in serie A. It is going to be a win with full confidence for Juventus when they’re going to be playing against Frosinone. The Italian cup is very much within their reach and they can win it seeing the remaining teams left in this competition.
After seeing big teams fell off, I wouldnt say confident for Juventus to win against Frosinone. I'm not talking rational analysis, the vibe doesnt seem right. Focusing on the league title while maintaining a strong performance in the Italian Cup is indeed a challenging but crucial balance for top-tier clubs. This makes all predictions scrumbling all the way.

The next round against Lazio could pose a more significant challenge. Lazio's strong performance this season, and they are often good in the cup competition. As the Italian Cup progresses, the excitement of the competition and the potential for Juventus to secure the trophy will undoubtedly keep fans eagerly following their journey in both the league and the cup.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 10, 2024, 10:44:02 PM
Real Madrid have once again proven that they're just the best Spanish club this season and I'm very happy they won the game in the extra time of play. Atletico Madrid proved to be a worthy opponent tonight by putting up a good fight against Real Madrid but unfortunately for them, they were facing a Real Madrid side that was on their prime.

One thing about Real Madrid this season is that they're making sure that they reach the final of each club competition they're involved in and if they should continue with their current performance, Real Madrid I think will finish this season with a least two trophies.
It seems Real Madrid is a really strong balanced team. Despite having injuries, they has been showcasing their dominance this season, and their victory in the recent game, especially in extra time, emphasizes their resilience and quality. Facing a strong opponent like Atletico Madrid and coming out on top in a tough battle speaks volumes about the team's determination and skill.

I dont think anyone can stop them in La Liga this season considering other teams have their own struglling issues. Real Madrid's consistent presence in the latter stages of club competitions is a testament to their overall strength and depth. If they maintain their current level of performance, it's plausible to believe that they have a strong chance of securing multiple trophies this season. Ancelotti's strategic approach and the players' collective efforts seem to be paying off that creates an optimistic outlook for Real Madrid fans.

I'm happy for Jadon Sancho's decision honestly. Because he had no future at Manchester United with Erik ten Hag because of the problems between them. It is great to see him back at Dortmund as he was playing really amazing there before. Terzic must also be happy to have him. Their season in the Bundesliga hasn't been going on well for them.
I am also very happy for Sancho because his move to Manchester United was not profitable at all, his value as player keep dropping because he was not given chance to showcase his talent; and as Eric Ten Hag come, he stopped given him any chance to play and he stoped him from playing with his team mates. I think this comeback will be of great help to him, and I hope Dortmund fans will welcome him back to where his career begins.
Everyone is happy for Sancho to be back playing football which is what he will get at Dortmund. A player's happiness and the right fit for their talents are crucial for their career development. If there were issues between Sancho and Erik ten Hag at Manchester United that hindered his progress, a move back to a familiar and successful environment like Dortmund could indeed be a positive step.

Sancho comes back at the right time to help Dortmund improve their competitiveness in Bundesliga. Dortmund fans are excited to welcome Sancho back, given his previous outstanding performances with the club. The connection he has with the team and the potential for a more significant role in the squad could contribute to revitalizing his career. The hope for many is that Sancho can regain the form and momentum he showcased before his move to Manchester United, and that this return becomes a turning point in his career. As football enthusiasts, we often appreciate when players find the right balance and environment to thrive, and it seems like this move could be a beneficial one for Sancho.

Indeed, PSG is not the right team for Mbappe because yes, basically Mbappe deserves to play at Real Madrid because at Real Madrid certainly has a guarantee to get a lot of achievements and trophies . But even though Mbappe is always linked to leaving for Real Madrid, the reality is that nothing is really certain. Because after all, PSG who always try to keep Mbappe also always succeed because yes, at the same time the reality is that Mbappe also does not have a strong choice whether to stay or will really leave. Because yes, at a young age, Mbappe can be satisfied only with the expensive salary he gets at PSG, so the drama about Mbappe leaving will continue to occur.
A player of Mbappe Calibre need to play in a more competitive football, not in a dominated league. Real Madrid suit him well in style of play and prestige. The romour of the move is there because of how people wnat to see a great talent to play in the highest stage. The financial aspects, including a lucrative salary, can certainly play a significant role in a player's decision-making process, especially at a young age. It's not uncommon for top players to weigh their options carefully, considering both the sporting prospects and the financial benefits.

PSG has been successful in retaining Mbappe's services so far. As the drama unfolds, football fans worldwide will undoubtedly continue to speculate on Mbappe's future. Whether he stays at PSG or eventually makes a move to Real Madrid, it will undoubtedly shape the landscape of European football. Only time will reveal the next chapter in Mbappe's career, and until then, the rumors and discussions are likely to persist.

I think Man City is still a strong team but they just can't play consistently as the previous season. Sure, losing Gundogan and Mahrez makes Man City to play weaker, but they still can deal with the situation if all they key players are available. What makes them to play worse is some key players injured for a long time (Haaland, De Bruyne, Rodri). Now, De Bruyne and Rodri have recovered, we can see they can play better in the last few matches. If Haaland can recover faster, we can expect that Man City to return to the top of EPL standings again. You must realize the point gap between the top 4 isn't really far, Man City is still possible to win the title.

I still don't read the news that Man City bought new players. But it will be great if they improve their squad with new players. Man City needs better players in defense line. Specifically for left and right backs, they new players in these positions. I think the current players are no longer very competitive, Man City must plan to change them.
I think the most impostant players for Manchester city now are De Bruyne and Rodri. Without these two, they look not well-organized team at attacking and defending counter-attacks. The recent return of of De Bruyne and Rodri has already shown improvements in their gameplay, and if Haaland can recover quickly, it could indeed bolster their chances of reclaiming the top spot in the Premier League.

While the point gap in the top 4 isn't insurmountable, I'd like to point out that the competition in the Premier League is fierce, and every match is crucial. Having key players back in the lineup is undoubtedly a positive sign for City's title ambitions. Regarding new player acquisitions, strengthening the defensive line sounds like a reasonable strategy. Maybe they need to play with natural fulbacks instead of Centerbacks, like Gvardiol or Ake, to play wide. A solid defense is often the foundation for success in any competition.

Although Dortmund has better experience in the Champion League compared to PSV, but I think it still does not fully guarantee for Dortmund to be able to beat PSV . Indeed, Dortmund are in the hell group in the group stage but still, PSG and Milan also have a performance that is not completely stable at that moment. With this factor, then I cannot assume it is entirely possible about Dortmund being better than PSG and Milan.

After all, in this season the fact is that PSV also has very good results in the Eredivisie, because PSV managed to win all its matches in the first half of the season. Indeed, the results of matches in the domestic league cannot be fully used as a benchmark for their performance in the Champion League. But yes, at least with the good results PSV has in the domestic league is likely to make PSV's morale also remain good in the round of 16 against Dortmund later.
I think Dortmund have different mentality this season. They are good in Champions League, but scrumble in Bundesliga. They may still be carrying on the effect of last season failure. They look uninterest in the Bundesliga, but full motivated in Champions League. Dortmund have a better experience in the Champions League compared to PSV if we just count the latest Era, because PSV also have proper history in Champions league, But past experience alone doesn't guarantee success in a specific encounter.

PSV have a stable morale with doing excellent results in the Eredivisie and progressing to the round of 16. This aspect of them is better than Dortmund's, but the Champions League is a different competition with its own dynamics. No body had thought that Dortmund would do good at a tough group stage. I think Dortmund will show their best in Champions League to compesate their performance in Bundesliga.

It is likely that Roma management wants to see Mourinho performance this season, what the man from Portugal can offer before the club offers him a new contract extension. On the other hand, it could be that Mourinho no longer wants to continue his adventure at Roma next season, and winning the Europa League trophy this season is his main priority.

Financially, Roma could not fulfill all of Mourinho wishes in the transfer window, fortunately they were able to bring in Lukaku from Chelsea even on loan. I think the Mourinho factor, who has worked with him, made Lukaku willing to move to Roma, indeed Inter could not afford the asking price that Chelsea wanted to recruit Lukaku.

I don't think there will be any big name new recruits brought in by Roma management this January, but here Roma could show a different performance than in Serie A. It is hoped that The Special One experience on the European stage can help Roma win the title this season, however Let's see how they face Feyenoord in the play offs first.
I think Roma management assessing Mourinho's performance with current squad, if he demands more players, Roma will not extend his contract even if they achieve something. Roma is not able to get big signings due to their financial capacity, and they want Mourinho to understand that. It allows the club to evaluate the impact of Mourinho's strategies and coaching style on the team's performance over the course of the season.

The financial constraints and the difficulty in fulfilling all of Mourinho's transfer wishes emphasize the practical challenges clubs often face in the transfer market. It's also a recognition that building team cohesion and integrating new players mid-season can be challenging. Winning the Europa League is surely a priority for Mourinho this season. Success in European competitions could be a significant achievement for Roma, and Mourinho's experience in navigating these stages is certainly an asset.

I am really confused by all the news that is currently circulating regarding speculation about Mbappe's transfer, currently Mbappe is being linked with 3 clubs, namely Chelsea - Liverpool - Madrid, but based on the existing news, Liverpool has quickly withdrew because they realized that the price they have set for Mbappe is very expensive.
But I'm still sure of one thing, Mbappe would prefer to join Madrid no matter what. He has dreamed of being in that team since he was little. He already has a lot of money and quite a lot of achievements but he hasn't had a UCL trophy yet.
I think the rumour has anything to do with his agent to increase the bargaining of his client. Objectively, only Madrid are willing to pay his high wage, but if no other club putting interest, Madrid can decrease their wage offer. That's how profesional aspect works. The dynamics of such negotiations can be complex, involving various factors, including transfer fees, player preferences, and the long-term vision of the clubs involved.

The withdrawal of Liverpool from the race is due to the high wage, they have no preblem for transfer fee. Liverpool have strict policy regarding players' wage. The allure of winning a UEFA Champions League trophy, especially considering Mbappe's outstanding career achievements, could be a strong motivator for him. Real Madrid's history in the competition and their current standing as a top club in Europe make them an attractive destination for players seeking to achieve that milestone.

Napoli's performance was truly disappointing. They lost 3 times, drew once and only won once from the last five matches. Currently they are ranked 9th in the league. This is a really bad result for the defending champions. I think they will have no chance of qualifying for the champions league next season. They are also 4 points behind Bologna in fifth place in the standings and I think it will also be difficult for them to qualify for the European league next season. I think those who bet that Napoli will win the title this season should give up their money to the bookie.
It's strange to see a defending champion sitting 9th in the league standings. The string of losses and the current 9th position in the league indeed indicate they have been losing character as a team who won the league just last season. Falling behind in the race for Champions League qualification adds the concerns. It's a tough situation for Napoli and their fans. The competition in the league is intense, and recovering from the current position will require a significant turnaround in form.

The probability of securing a Champions League spot may seem distant at the moment. Giving up on their chances entirely might be premature, but it's clear that Napoli needs to address the issues affecting their current form and focus on everything that hinders their improvement. The upcoming matches will likely need a strategic and tactical reassessment to improve their chances of achieving European qualification.

This team still needs a breath of fresh air to make them better, the problem is that they are not easy to get that breath of fresh air, because they have to consider the long term if they are going to do something. In this case I'm talking about their finances of course, like it or not what makes them weak is not having an even squad in some positions and that makes the opposing team able to exploit their weaknesses in those positions.
The 2 goals scored against them were disappointing, although they could have won this match because they scored 3 goals. But this is a serious note for Xavi and his team and must be able to evaluate what happened in this match.
It's clear that Barcelona is facing challenges, particularly in terms of squad depth in certain positions. The ability of opposing teams to exploit weaknesses in those positions underscores the importance of having a well-rounded and balanced squad. It's unlucky for Xavi to manage Barcelona in this time with this situation that makes him not able to fulfill his full capability as tactician.

Long-term considerations are crucial in making decisions that will benefit the team sustainably for the future to not fall in the same mistake. Having unreliable defense makes team vulnerable at competing for the highest acheivement. It's a delicate balance between addressing immediate concerns and planning for the team's future. Xavi's ability to navigate these challenges and make strategic decisions, both in terms of player recruitment and tactical adjustments, will be crucial in propelling the team to greater success.

Xavi Alanso so far has done a wonderful job this season; he is currently the best manager in the German Bundesliga by going complete sixteen games without losing any match; they are first in the Bundesliga table with four points ahead of the defending champions Bayern Munich; unlike last season, when they finished sixth in the Bundesliga, they are now one of the favorites to win the Bundesliga title this season since Dortmund, which is usually the title contender with Bayern, is not in good form this season. Kudos to Xavi Alonso for taking Leverkusen to another level, as they are now a big team that will possibly play in the Champions League next season.
Xabi Alonso has become a hope for football fans to end Bayern's domination, except Bayern fans of course. lol. It's indeed impressive to see Xavi Alonso making a significant impact as the first managerial spell at Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. Going unbeaten in sixteen games is a remarkable achievement in any league in the world that speaks volumes about the team's current form and Xabi Alonso's managerial prowess.

The turnaround from finishing sixth in the previous season to becoming serious contenders for the Bundesliga title is a testament to the positive changes and improvements Xavi Alonso has instilled in the team. The absence of Dortmund as a strong title contender this season has potentially opened up the race for the Bundesliga title, and Leverkusen seems to be capitalizing on this opportunity. The prospect of them playing in the Champions League next season is a testament to their resurgence under Xavi Alonso.

Nice isn't a club to be considered just too small yet even if it's looking like they are just getting to improve in the Ligue 1 this season but then they have always been above average teams in the Ligue 1, even in subsequent sessions,.they have not been too bad enough to get to relegation, a few times they were able to make it to.the top.four.

I know I'm superiority PSG still stands out way bigger but then this season Nice have been in one of their best form and shouldn't be in anyway underestimated even if I know PSG has got the best squad in France currently but they shouldn't forget quickly how it happened last season when they went lax a few times and it denied them the Ligue 1 title, same may apply with Nice even if I know they are quite far away as the margin with which PSG is ahead is literally broad but then since they have the UCL to play, it could be a distraction that could probably get them some slacks in the Ligue 1
Nice has demonstrated stability and competitiveness to avoid relegation and even makes it to the top four in some instances. Their current improved form makes them look like a tough a top team in the league, but that hasn't enough to challenge for the title. While PSG undoubtedly stands out as the superior team in terms of squad quality and financial resources, recent history has shown that even dominant teams like PSG can face challenges. Last season's slip-ups by PSG leading to them missing out on the Ligue 1 title highlight the unpredictability of football.

Juggling domestic and international competitions can indeed be challenging for top-tier teams that is potentially creating an opportunity for other clubs, like Nice, to capitalize on any lapses. PSG's biggest enemy in the league right now is them self. Other teams can only take their position, if PSG feel complacency and play in relaxed mood.

During the first and second half Arsenal dominated but can't score any goal and that's very poor, with tonight  performance it shows Arsenal can't move forward this season, reason why I said Arsenal can't move forward, the team has zero effort to push forward for now, Arteta can still restructure the team but it shows he can't and the signing of a new striker should not be taken for granted, the team really need a striker this January, looking at the attempt and shots after the match and still no goal still baffles me, Arteta should restructure the team.
The inability to convert domination into goals can indeed be a concern. Restructuring the team and signing a new striker are the needs now. Arteta has been failing his plan with the signing of Jesus and Havert who performed way under expectation. Restructuring and strategic player acquisitions are potential solutions to address performance issues.

Arsenal's recent performances were discouraging that makes Arteta needs to make tough decisions, and Arteta will likely be evaluating the team's strategy and composition. They need to make positive adjustments moving forward to bring better results for the team and its supporters.

~
The most common thing that we often encounter in someone who has a growth mindset is their hesitation in taking an action, even a high-risk one, while the most common trait found in someone who has a fixed mindset is that their decisions are always made for a safe position, but not everyone is aware of the positive or negative impacts of both, there are many factors that influence all of this.  i myself am someone who has a growth mindset, i am brave enough to take risks for things that i think are good and have great potential in my business but still with various considerations, if i think it is bad then i will make further corrections to my plan.
A growth mindset can lead to innovation, personal development, and resilience in the face of setbacks. It may also involve navigating higher risks and uncertainties. A fixed mindset may contribute to a sense of security and stability, but it might limit opportunities for growth and exploration. Both are good things to have. People only need to avoid a messed mindset. LoL

Mindset is the impact of personal values, the nature of the task or decision at hand, and the context in which the decision is being made. If people have awareness of their own mindsets, They can adopt a balanced approach that is combining the strengths of both growth and fixed mindsets as needed. This adaptability can be a valuable skill in navigating the complexities of personal and professional life.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Habits that can lead to your financial failure in 2024 on: January 08, 2024, 03:48:36 PM
Passive income must be seen to the extent to which a person can work more effectively smartly rather than working hard, because working hard and working smart have different sides. The view of people who have acquired wealth is different from that of people who are accumulating wealth because they both look for the closest and fastest source for their output rather than looking at how the input process works.
The concept of passive income is about the efficiency and effectiveness of efforts that emphasize the importance of strategic approaches rather than solely relying on hard work. Working hard typically involves putting in a significant amount of time and effort to achieve a goal, whereas working smart involves optimizing your efforts to achieve the same or even better results. Passive income often comes from investments, businesses, or assets that generate revenue with minimal ongoing effort.

There is difference between those who have already acquired wealth and those in the process of accumulating it. Wealth accumulators might focus on immediate returns, while those who have already achieved financial success understand the value of building sustainable and passive income streams over the long term. People can create a more sustainable and resilient financial future by understanding how to generate passive income through smart and efficient methods. It's not just about the output but also about optimizing the input process for long-term success.

Some people still don't realize that the money from bank customers will be used by the bank to develop their own business in many ways and there are still many ordinary people who think that keeping money in the bank is the safest thing in their opinion. So they don't want to look for other alternatives in order to find out which other sectors are safest to save the money they collect through their own work.

In fact, currently there are quite a lot of sectors that can be used to store money safely without having to link ourselves to the bank except for transfer service bridges only. Currently, I often use the alternative of saving gold when I already have money to avoid the bank, because saving gold at this time is not bad other than keeping Bitcoin as usual.
It's true that banks utilize customer deposits to facilitate various financial activities, including lending and investments, to generate revenue for their own operations. That's how a bank as a company gain financial advantage through banking business. if they failed to generate revenue from their investment or business, there will be lack of money in the bank which is owned by custumers. that's how inflation starts. This heppened to Lehmann Brothers years ago.

Diversifying savings is indeed a wise approach. It's a prudent financial strategy, and understanding the risks and benefits associated with different investment options is crucial. While banks provide a sense of security, exploring other sectors, such as investing in precious metals like gold or exploring cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, can offer different advantages. Each option has its own set of risks and benefits. It's great that you've found a strategy that works for you, emphasizing the importance of considering various alternatives for financial security.

Manchester City really needs experienced players to achieve their target this season to become UCL champions. Well, Kevin Bruyne is a very experienced player and he is the team captain, of course he is quite needed for every match that Manchester City will face. In fact, Kevin return to the Manchester City squad in today match was welcomed by fans because he had been absent for quite a long time while recovering from his injury.

In my opinion, Manchester City is quite strong this season, indeed without Kevin De Bruyne in the group phase, it can be covered by the good performance of other players. But Kevin return to the team is of course welcomed only by Manchester City players because he is the field controller that Manchester City really needs. Maybe Haaland has found the best bait supplier for himself in the upcoming match
The return of Kevin De Bruyne is a big boost for Manchester City's ambitions this season. Without Gundogan anymore, Manchester City requires Kevin as experienced player to achieve their goal of becoming UCL champions. Experience often plays a pivotal role, particularly in high-stakes competitions like the UEFA Champions League.

Kevin De Bruyne is a key figure who is both as the team captain and the field controller that has a central role in the team's strategy and overall performance. The positive reception from fans regarding De Bruyne's return after a prolonged absence due to injury underscores the anticipation and optimism surrounding his comeback. Fans understand the impact he can have on the team's dynamics. With the de Bruyne, Haaland is having a valuable supplier for upcoming matches hints at the potential impact of their partnership. De Bruyne's ability to create goal-scoring opportunities will indeed benefit prolific strikers like Haaland.

I think the only major African leaving for that African Cup of Nations Competitions has to be Victor Boniface alone, he is the only Nigerian and major African player from that first team leaving.
Xabi Alonso I believe made his experiment on that game and how it'll look like when a player like Victor Boniface leaves for the next one month and possibly holidays whenever he returns.

Winning the Bundesliga League Competition is something most people are eager to see not just myself, they have to show they're better than Borrussia Dortmund who was there until the last game of the league only to finally bottle things up disgracefully.
This period is a test for Xabi Alonso to prove his capability with limited squad depth while losing his important player. It provides an opportunity for Xabi Alonso to experiment and assess the team's performance in the absence of a key player like Boniface. Using this period to understand how the team copes without Victor Boniface speaks to his significance within the squad. Xabi Alonso is likely utilizing this period to test different strategies and player combinations to ensure the team remains competitive during Boniface's absence.

The broader aspiration of winning the Bundesliga League Competition is a shared sentiment among football fans who emphasize the eagerness to see Leverkusen emerge as champions. Xabi Alonso's experimentation, and the aspiration to outshine Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga League Competition collectively reflect the strategic thinking and ambitions of Leverkusen. It will be interesting to see how they can fulfill the shared desire of winning the league.

Correctly Said!

Absence of a dangerous striker is all they need now, Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are all not up to that standard. They have to see one of these names leaving if a new number nine should come back into the squad.
They've had chances but no good enough hungry striker to convert all of these chances.

Serhou Guirassy? Right footed! Tall, strong and has a good goal scoring record already with Stuggart. How about his valuation? Is it something the budget of Arsenal can meet up or purchase? Hell Yeah!! So what's up with the delay!!

They should hijack his move to any Premier League club and make him the top priority. They need him and he needs them, they're also in the Champions League Competition, enough to showcase what he's got.
It's no secret that Arsenal need a dangerous striker, and the performances of Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are not meeting the desired standard. Serhou Guirassy could be the solution they need to sign in this window. I think the affordability of his valuation is not a problem for Arsenal, but the reluctance of Leverkusen to sell him is the big concern for Arsenal acquiring him.

Arsenal and Guirassy could mutually benefit from each other, especially with Arsenal's participation in the Champions League, adds weight to the suggestion. It's a compelling case for Arsenal to prioritize Serhou Guirassy as a top-choice striker to address their current goal-scoring challenges. The combination of his attributes, affordability, and the potential mutual benefit for both parties makes him a sensible target for the club.

Joshua Kimmich is a versatile player, he can be used as a defender and a midfielder. Besides he's already worked with Josep Pep Guardiola before when they had a great time together at Bayern Munich winning lots of trophies.
He could be used as a defensive midfielder and a right fullback, just the right man to replace Kyle Walker but is that gone be possible?

Rodri is currently untouchable and sit undropabble. Pep Guardiola although loves depth and I won't be surprised he be the man behind this.
Would Kimmich want steady game time, then he won't be moving to Manchester City.
Joshua Kimmich being versatile player is a credit to Guardiola. He has demonstrated his ability to excel in various positions, making him a valuable asset for any team. Kimmich potentially replacing Kyle Walker, given his proficiency as a defensive midfielder and right fullback, is something that makes the rumour going around, because Guardiola is searching for walker's repalcement who is aging and has been struggling with injuries lately.

If Kimmich moves to Manchester City, he will only play at right back due to Rodri being currently untouchable and undroppable in that defensive midfield. Having a player of Kimmich's caliber would undoubtedly strengthen Manchester City's options. But he prefers to play in midfield that makes staying at Bayern is more likely the best option.
