801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 15, 2021, 01:44:00 PM
some traders and investors find it hard to take profit even after making good profit on investment. this can be as a result of aiming to sell at a desired price that is higher or hoping to hold the tokens for more longer time.  its not everyone that can do this patiently and some usually regret their actions. the secret is to make decision and stand by it and also be satisfied by little profits , take out your investments and some little profits and then leave the rest for long term.

kindly share your ideas that might be helpful to solving this issue.

For me, i think and believe taking profit is not hard; it is traders that complicate issues for themselves and this is where discipline comes in. As a trader you have to be disciplined; discipline in trading helps you to stick to your trading plan. Also as traders, you need to work on your emotions; trading with emotions means you could get greedy when you should take profit. Develop your trading skills and always take profit; taking profit does not stop you from holding little percentage of the token
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized My Butt on: February 15, 2021, 01:25:01 PM
It's now 9:39 PM Eastern Standard Time. I just watched ALL of the top Defi coins (Maker, AAVE, Comp, Celo, Uniswap) drop 27% in 1 minute, ALL at the very same time. Massive coordinated sell-off. All at the very same minute.

If all of those coins can be affected that way simultaneously, there is nothing decentralized about the Altcoins.

Well what you have described is decentralization at its peak; people have the choice, chance and opportunity to decide to buy and sell their portfolios at anytime they desire or wish. One question i have is how are you sure it is the same time ? when the dump happened, did bitcoin dip in price ? if yes then it is possible that people sold their defi tokens in profit to buy bitcoin lows.

Either ways, learn trading, understand when to take profit because it will continue this way in the dexes.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: Is corona virus crisis changing economical equations around the world? on: February 15, 2021, 01:21:24 PM
Some major countries are facing crisis created by corona virus, meanwhile few others have controlled it successfully. Can this pandemic change economical and political status of countries?

4 months on and i would say that the economical and political status of countries has not change; the first change witnessed is that some countries got poorer; while some got richer. A dominant change that we have witnessed is the change of approach to several things; such as banking services; work from home staffs; crypto currency adoptability and also self cautiousness. Do you agree with me or have additions ?
804  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: February 15, 2021, 01:15:19 PM
what are you gonna do if u have millions dollars of cash ? are  you  gonna spend it all for ferrari high class car or invest bitcoin for survive ?

Well, it all depends on the kinda million dollars; some millions dollars will buy a ferari and still invest in bitcoin; Also, investing in bitcoin is not a survival policy but a wealth creation policy; you need to undergo teachings on crypto currency trading and investment so that you can have the right emotions and psychology as regards crypto currency. if it were me, i would buy my favs ferari; and then invest in bitcoin, etherum and litecoin; they are very bullish on the long term with great prospects.

Bayern Münich found some money. Good deal?

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1360317205041324038

Yet again, Bayern Munich proves their worth in terms of player recruitment by getting one of the best Defenders in the world in Upamecano; The deal was even done months ahead to sway off potential suitors from europe. Time will tell if its a good deal for the player and bayern munich
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel, Looking at the Bullrun market? on: February 12, 2021, 12:53:23 PM
Are you sad to see the current market situation? YES to ME  Cry
1. Seeing insane eth gas costs, Unable to trade small amounts of tokens due to expensive shipping costs.
2. Seeing the increase in the price of BTC reaching the new ATH, I can't do much because I don't have any BTC investments or other coin investments whose prices have gone up.

Oh my GOD .. my life is very sad. I hope BTC and ETH prices drop dramatically, amen  Grin

I feel very cautious looking at the bull run market because 2018 comes to mind very easily; also one advantage i have is that most of my trades are on the exchange so that way i get to use cheap and low transactional fee. The only thing we can do as bitcoin and altcoins experience bulls is to take profits as much as we can without greed.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi can compete with BTC? on: February 12, 2021, 12:45:57 PM
i have been scrolling down the bounties section and seen so many projects related to Defi and Bitcoin but i cannot understand how the new project like Defi is giving a hard time to BTC and even to other altcoins like ETH and ripple and many more?

every post and campaign i am seeing is about Defi and its making more money than others/

why?  Huh

DeFi is indeed good and has very sustainining projects in the crypto currency space; with good amount of adoptions too, but it cannot compete with bitcoin; etherum, ripple with amass of volume has yet to compete with bitcoin; defi has yet to compete with etherum, then bitcoin ? By now you should understand how the markets work, do not let your emotions get a better of you at all.

Always do your own research.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: In crypto everybody pay high tx fee, no matter rich or poor people on: February 12, 2021, 12:34:11 PM
If you own 1000 ETH, you pay 10 ETH in fee for fast speed transaction, if you own 100 ETH you pay 1 ETH fee, if you own 10 ETH you pay 0.1 ETH.

In stock market, poor people pay the highest trading fee, where rich people pay low trading fee, 401k probably paid zero trading fee because they own the brokering market, yup, stock market benefit rich people and punish poor people on trading fee alone.

I do not know about stock market, but i know well enough to be sure that etherum or blockchain transaction fees does not work the way you have explained them. You deciding to use the fastest gwei for transaction does not mean i would do the same; i can opt to wait until later when the fees are low before doing any transaction which betrays the ideology you have detailed.

The best way to put this is that; in crypto there are no discrimination; people pay transaction charges either rich or poor unlike stock market.
Thats it, i fixed it for you
809  Economy / Speculation / Re: How would you protect your potential profits? on: February 11, 2021, 07:09:27 PM
Potential profits are a myth in crypto currency; it is either you take profit or you do not; and until you take profits in a trade or on a transaction; you cannot be a profit. The best way to protect your profits is to it and have it saved up in usdt; that way you can re invest your capital into another project or token.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i wait for a pull back on ada to get in on: February 11, 2021, 07:04:55 PM
Since ada is so hot right now i am wondering should i wait before i get in on it?

The best form of investment is to buy the lows; when the price are low and cheap; it is never advisable to by the bulls or green candles. Also; you do not buy every dip; first you have to dyor and have a knowledge of the token price movement because some tokens dip and continue to dip; not all tokens dip to rise in price or volume.
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2021, 12:32:43 PM
It doesnt matter which type of investment; the truth is that you should not take a loan for a start up investment; Trading or investing bitcoin should and must be done with a calm mind and peace of mind to; how can you trade bitcoin when you worry about a loan ? Never do that. Do your own research and trade bitcoin or invest bitcoin with funds you can afford
812  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin is going cross $50k? on: February 10, 2021, 12:26:07 PM

The $40k level has been crossed at lightning speed and we are facing a $50k resistance. However, the market seems to have slowed down.

Do you think the $50k will be exceeded in the next hours or will we have to wait a loooot longer for it?

This will depend on whatever plays out from the market in the next few hours; at the moment there are price corrections and several new openings in almost all trade pairs; if the correction does not break support and turn to bear maket; then bitcoin can easily clock 50000$ this week. Not an investment advise so i urge you to understand that you are not profitable until you take profit.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: Where the correction ? on: February 10, 2021, 12:20:30 PM
to be honest , i just invested all of my money into crypto on the middle of november , as we see now , everything go green , i even got 12 X ROI just for hold crypto like EGLD,INJ,CAKE,XVS, the question , where the correction , it is the party will be over soon ? or it will be bigger since as we know recently big company like TESLA even accepted bitcoin , or its just fake bull ? if yes , i cant imagine how big the correction will happen.

The corrections arre here; i suppose you have not been paying attention or perhaps you want to reference the bear market instead; cake token i know has hovered around 6$ before going to 7$ and this morning; it has been  back and forth 6$. The same correction has applied to Juld; bnb too. We currently have a sustainable bull market on the fundamentals; my only fear is that all relies on bitcoin price movement. Would altcoin maintain the price and volume with a bear bitcoin price?
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading app recommendations please. on: February 09, 2021, 10:12:43 PM
I'm looking for an app which let me buy and trade cryptocurrencies as low as $7, I have $7 in my Binance account and I can't trade with it, so I m looking for an app where I can send my XRP from Binance and sell it to new platform and finally do some trading.

There are very rare exchange platforms who allow such low trade amount; you use binance the best exchange platform in the crypto currency space; unless you are willing to trade on your wallet (decentralized exchanges); i really doubt you are able to trade 7$ anywhere. Visit Okex; you have the freedom to trade any amount over there; and depending on your country; there is p2p too. Check the deposit information before sending your token.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Economist predicts demise of global central banks on: February 09, 2021, 08:00:38 PM
Quote
Harry Dent, economist and author of ‘Zero Hour,’ joined Glenn Beck on radio recently for a terrifying discussion about what may come soon for our financial markets. He says because the federal reserve and central banks are pumping money into our financial ‘bubble’ at record speeds, there will come a time soon that the bubble naturally will pop. Dent says, despite what the masses may believe, that fueling the markets with additional, printed money will NOT save us from an economic crash — in fact, quite the opposite will occur.

....

This interview resembles what we should expect from a legitimate analysis of current finance and economy situations. Except for it containing a few more talking points and contrived narratives than normal for it to be a work of independent commentary.

I think the information laid out here about bubbles is ok. They try to spin the negative outcome of bubbles popping into a positive event by claiming it would destroy central banks. Which is ridiculous. Ruling elites would never allow the control and influence central banks give them to be tampered with.

Well worth watching but be aware that for every truth spoken, there could easily be 2 lies intended to serve political agendas.

He has spoken reality of how economics work; and being in the crypto currency space for a few years; you should be aware that the bullish trend cannot continue forever; that is what he was making references about; the bearish market will definitely come, when or how soon is what nobody is aware of; which is why you must watch your trades and continue to take as much profits as you can.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: February 09, 2021, 07:53:18 PM
Reason are becouse banx dont have MONEY.

From kyc transactions they create money.

Bank will just add digits only if you verify ur kyc .
Banks can not use other people money thats a lia.
Banx creating money from kyc and aml
Old money is gone to proof this the all debt are erased in 10 years banx now nedd kyc to create new money

OP; Your thread topic says one thing; and your thread itself is very unclear. One thing about kyc is that it is used to keep records of platform users; be it a bank or a crypto currency exchange; it is also used to check mate fraudulent individuals. Secondly, banks do not need anyone's kyc to create new money; it is centralized by the government.

What point are you trying to drive at ?
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: February 08, 2021, 01:43:11 PM
In my opinion, Bitcoin cannot help the poor.

Poverty is, on the one hand, the strength of external circumstances (unequal starting conditions), on the other hand, it is erroneous beliefs, laziness, lack of education.  If a person does not have the desire to learn and overcome life obstacles, then Bitcoin will not be able to improve his social and property situation.

Bitcoin is a virtual decentralized money that allows transactions without intermediaries.  Not everyone needs it.

After reading about effects of bitcoin in Africa; and also the after effect after it got banned in India and Bangladesh; i have to conclude that bitcoin helps the poor. In countries with poor gdp and high rate of unemployment; crypto currency has been a direct source of employment for people; through writing, promotions, video marketing and more; it has even improved the lives of many; taking bitcoin away from such people only make them poorer. so yes bitcoin helps alot

Also; poverty is not about laziness or lack of education; a government policy can send a rich man business into ruins and poverty.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: February 08, 2021, 01:27:34 PM
In 2021 to 2022
If learn and try to push yourself hard enough.you can be very rich.
Or very poor  2021 to 2022 people will decide who they want be.

By the 2024 everybody must have decidede are they super rich or very poor .

What will you choose ?

There should be no year specification for an individual to push their self to success. Be it this year or today itself; you must push yourself to be better.  Also people do not decide to be poor or rich; Work smart, work digital and not hard; and perhaps you could flourish in what you do.  And importantly; tell yourself and friends to learn crypto currency
819  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Wealth Disparity is going to cause a lot of issues soon on: February 08, 2021, 12:59:38 PM
Why is every currency so centralized? By doing this, none of them can become global currencies.

Taking a look at some of the most likely coins to become a global currency at the moment:

USD- Chinese will never accept it since it is printed indefinitely by USA

Dogecoin- A fun coin and with stable development but with pow it has the same issues as btc and if they moved to pos they'd still have the same issue due to these rich lists:

(European/Russian currencies): All still held by the same people whose ancestors were friends with the king/czar since trickle down doesn't work and there is not as many "new rich" as the america's

I can only see how a currency that is globally owned could become globally accepted.

People normally purport btc's wealth centralization as a reason to buy but at 7 billion users following this trend 1 billion people would have less than 0.0000001 BTC each....that's a greater wealth divide than we currently have with even USD. I can't imagine a world where the 100 people with large btc balances aren't hunted down by the billions of poor if that was the case.

TheGreatReset.Finance

I think for a start the USD is a globally accepted currency by everyone in the world except CHINA. China deciding not to pair with usd does not mean it is completely private and centralized.

Either bitcoin, etherum or doge; just as your bank network messes up whenever there is network congestion and transaction at the same time; this tokens would also experience the same (and this is why there are high gas fees); alternatives are with crypto you can always fasten up transactions at any time, but centralized banking never guarantees that bearish or bullish.

820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 07, 2021, 02:55:09 PM
Is this real Manchester united performance? They should be at the top of the table by now but they have given away an excessive number of games. It's the truth ManU slipped up against too many teams and now you can see the results. This is tragic end for Manchester United.

It is not a Tragic end for Manchester United; instead it has shown how far the team has improved; the mistakes are evident mistakes that has been on since the beginning of the season; a sleepy defense line and a mistake filled David De Gea; The team learn of course because this is the  best Manchester United squad since Ferguson retired.

Liverpool should survive against Manchester City today and get a draw; anything else and then Klopp would have confidence issues to resolve within his squad.
