801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Something Fishy with Streamity on: September 01, 2018, 10:17:04 AM
It seems that this case is rather difficult, there is a lot of evidence to be found, there must be a lot of further research. I can feel your disappointment but you have to research the team on the website, all the events must have been a lesson.
There would have been no need kicking him out of the telegram group if something shady is not going on.

I would only advise the OP to call them out on the scam accusation thread and let's see what they have to give in explanation to why token that was expected to be locked is opened to trade on fork delta. If that is not obvious on its own, that something is not right, then, I wonder what else would me.

I simply hope this is not just another scam that would lead a lot of investor’s bag holding while the team have sold out and disappeared into thin air.
Think it's a great idea to call them out on Scam accusation - thought about doing so, but realized that most guys getting into cryptos - especially those looking for the proverbial map to Eldorado - come here first. That's why I posted here. Thinking of calling them out on scam accusation, having looked into their product - and since I'm no longer vested in using their services, I think it's too much hassle, besides most new guys don't go checking scam thread for their specific ICO. Hopefully, having it here will call for greater DYOR and due diligence on hodlers part
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / ⚡🚀 [ANN][ICO] bZx: Decentralized Margin Trading Powered by bZx ⚡🚀 on: September 01, 2018, 07:20:05 AM

bZx is a protocol for decentralized margin lending and margin trading on the Ethereum blockchain. Short tokens or leverage a position using your favorite 0x relay, all from your Metamask Wallet, Ledger, or Trezor

You can go exchange assets on DEXs to capitalize on gains in price, but you can't short assets to capitalize on falls in price. Neither can you monetize the time-value of your current holdings without losing control of them. bZx makes it possible to generate passive income from your current assets without giving up control while allowing short and margin traders to enter into new types of financial arrangement

A new generation of decentralized exchanges (DEXs) has risen in the wake of the 0x revolution, addressing the security concerns of centralized exchanges, while improving on the innovations of the previous generation. However, these DEXs still remains restrictive due to their inability to support margin lending and trading, forcing market players to continue exposing their assets to security and counter-party risks.

bZx replaces the current custodial infrastructure seen at venues like Bitfinex, Kraken, Poloniex, etc. with a series of trustless smart contracts running on the Ethereum blockchain

my friend said Centra failed to get attention from their ico
yet i see another ico get a footballer along with them
ronaldinho now,
i get feelings it will same with centra

Centra bought MyWeather instagram ads. Some celebrity with no crypto knowledge with a bunch of ads in his social media suddenly advertising a shady ICO should be a very big red flag to anyone!
Guess the shocking part are those guys who are constantly waiting for someone to tell them what to buy, what not to buy, when and where. No wonder the market's a mess
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Something Fishy with Streamity on: August 29, 2018, 10:26:23 AM
It's mind-bogging to see such number of questions remain widely unanswered. I know the ICO/crypto market is in a delicate balance, however, the silence is very unsettling

Think this is the most bugged token in the history of token creation. Over $1k for a token with such massive supply. Site is non-existent and the only info I could glean was off a wordpress blog
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: August 24, 2018, 11:17:56 PM
Why are people from the United States excluded?

As Andreas Antonopoulos has stated before. The lack of KYC/AML is a feature, not a bug. (Talking about bitcoin).

Will you be friendly to US customers in the future? Are you going to look for legal solutions?

It's not the fault of people in the United States that they live under such a strict and corrupt government and it would be a win-win for any project to receive investment from one of the worlds biggest country (and possibly richest).

Here's a direct response from Ed, on the issue https://t.me/BQTCommunity/15832

...I can't agree more that US is unfairly restricting US citizens (and I'm one of them) in order to protect the banking system.  I as you can imagine travel quite a bit and see how much wider crypto is utilized around the world... just recently in Barcelona I walked into Audi dealership and could buy a 100k$ car with bitcoin.  That's besides "we accept bitcoins" signs over 50% of small shops I randomly visited.  But it is what it is... and laws are very strict and require multi state licenses.  As P2P exchange we could just as Localbitcoin take a position of entering US market right away and point all regulatory risks to our users. We decided to launch in EMEA and APAC market first while continuing to lobby for legislatures (with other players) and acquire proper state licenses in US.  I can promise you however that we are not putting it into long basket.  Our goal is to beat expectations of our road map projections as US market is most important initiative for the company.  But we will enter it after all beta related "bugs" and unexpected issues are mostly out of the way.  I very much on board and always fighting to advocate the importance of Blockchain and crypto  in effort to tremendously advance progress of technology innovations.  I speak about it on conferences and very vocal on thr subject regulators.  US is behind but lots of $$ been put into crypto projects by prominent VCs and PE firms... it is inevitable that rapid utilization of crypto technologies on Blockchain networks would be hitting US soon. Especially as ALL major banks and financial institutions spending billions of dollars to integrate Blockchain and crypto into their operations.  I personally believe that is the precise reason of stalling thing in US... letting banks to catch up. Cheers to all!

6 months!
Now I remember... thought I was mixing up my ICOs because I clearly recall coming across the bounty sometimes late last year, but thought the sameness of all these ICOs had finally gotten to me. Now, it all makes sense.
Should have given it the wide berth it deserved

Is a bad story to hear if after six months on bounty, then it eventually won't pay up.... I can't even give myself to ico investment again after my own experience.

Icos are helping theirselves head to the rock and this is one reason the genuine ico hardly hit their target or never do.
It's a rocky situation for ICOs this year. Private investors with their massive bonuses, bounty hunters underselling each other, late investors spreading FUDs, whales manipulation, green hands getting singed... it's a jungle out there.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Something Fishy with Streamity on: August 21, 2018, 11:04:00 PM
Been following Streamity (https://streamity.org/en/) for a while now and since the ICO ended, the mod on telegram has been saying that the tokens will be unlocked after listing. Decided to fish out the smart contract and check if anything was happening on Forkdelta and behold, there were buy and sell orders: https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0x2e8c6bbe8e3aa834ef5a851b2cdfc52403d61b87-ETH

Decides to test the sell order and it went through... meaning contract was unlocked.

I took my findings to the admin on TG and presented the evidence to them. Next thing I know, I got kicked got - out in the cold without a word. Reached out to the other admin on BTT and no response.

Is it just me or something doesn't add up?
In my opinion, this is some kind of unsuccessful project. ICO lasted more than 6 months, think only. They collected not so much. Well I did not invest in it

If you're tracking this scam, please be ready to save all the information about the project on your hard drive: site screenshots, yt videos, forum posts... They will delete all evidence!
Yeah... it's amazing the lengths these guys will go to to clean up shop and trying to make you look dumb for knowing the truth
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] n.exchange launches ICO on: August 21, 2018, 07:15:18 AM
Does anybody receives any update from the team? Their not responding on messages.
Admin seems to be slightly more active on their TG channel than here. Not that there's much information going round there either
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RAYS] Rays Network | C-DPoS | Bulletproof | Flexible Blockchain Network | on: August 21, 2018, 07:03:46 AM
Does RAYs support masternodes? If it does, what the minimum collateral for setting up one?
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STREAMITY ICO --->Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange<--- on: August 20, 2018, 09:05:33 AM
ico is very helpful and I see the participants are getting more and more days, it seems like they are enthusiastic and believe in this one project, I am sure this project will provide many benefits.
Thank you for your words!
I just got banned on your telegram channel for pointing out the fact that contrary to what your admins are claiming, the smart contract is not locked and already some persons have taken their tokens to forkdelta: https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0x2e8c6bbe8e3aa834ef5a851b2cdfc52403d61b87-ETH
Instead of defending or explaining, I got banned right away?
Something doesn't add up
Still waiting on some sort of explanation guys. No one from the team is addressing it on telegram (where posts can be easily deleted) or any other social media channel. Thankfully, things don't get swept under the rug here
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA Founders Starting Another Shady ICO - Phantom Core? on: August 19, 2018, 08:37:59 AM
Floyd and DJ Khalid
What DJ Khalid as well?

Well this is how marketing works, they just paid those popular people and advertise their project even without knowledge on what it is.

I guess they received millions of $$$ for advertising this scam.
Funny enough, those celebs could have been sold on how BTC went from cents to 10k and how their produce does BTC better. So, all they need is just some fiat to pair with their tokens because it's gonna be worth the moon in a few months compared to BTC's years. Bam!

The fact that I got kicked... not by a bot, but by an admin who deleted all most posts (a bot would only delete the URL I posted) and then the silence on their ANN thread speaks volume about something not being right. And researching team? This is the internet, anybody can be anybody. The only thing I can trust right now is the smart contract and the smart contract doesn't lie

Would help if we have a screenshot of these "much works" or any indication that something really is going on in the channel other than you just saying so

Why are those people haven't arrested yet?
I hope that they'll never start a new project they scammed a lot of people and also me in its bounty campaign, fortunately I haven't invested in it even if I wasted some of my time
Don't worry about the bounty campaign, worry about those people that invested their hard earned money to that scam.
If I'm correct is this the one that has been advertised by Floyd right?

818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA Founders Starting Another Shady ICO - Phantom Core? on: August 17, 2018, 10:25:06 AM
I hope no one gets stuck and loses his assets in this sad ico. but I'm confused, there are still people who care and support ico like this, who obviously have a troubled founder.

There is NO ICO! How can they be trying to scam someone? they aren’t asking for money!

No ICO? Is that the selling point? I'm not buying it. For a team that's currently entangled in 3 legal battles with funds from the centra 'project' frozen up, how are they supposed to fund phantom whatever?
The only way I see is if they cannibalize whatever they've developed so far with CTR, merge it into some code fork (they are forking ARK btw), present it to the community as a working platform and then a few months later start soliciting for "marketing funds". Don't forget the possibility of a pre-mine
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA Founders Starting Another Shady ICO - Phantom Core? on: August 16, 2018, 10:39:06 PM
Centra can't return the money to investors as the SEC confiscated it and is now in control of the funds. That is publicly available in court documents. Secondly, speaking of scammers, lets take a look at the trust level of the person who first started this, Pali. It says a lot about what he has done to people and projects in the past. So you may want to consider where you get your information from.  Be careful as he works for another other project, Bitmillex. You definitely don't want to be involved with any projects who are supported by known scammers.
