It looks like the terms for bidding have expired by now... BTW how big if the community by now? And why would someone be interested to get in Timereum when there is no possibility to get pair of keys. What would you be able to do with just the purchased token?

An interesting coin. But I don't know how big the market is for VPN - what about the concurrence of the other VPN apps? Isn't it easier for customers to just buy a program with a one time fee?

I really would not buy something which has been airdropped too fast for me to get it for free like the others. If in one game I lose, I don't continue to play with a handicap. No fun.

So those who received the email about 15th September are on the whitelist and have the chance to buy?
Really curious to me sorry
Yes, if you signed up for the whitelist before the ICO, you should have received an email a few days ago telling you about the limited ($1,000 max) whitelist sale on September 15th. Not everybody who had signed has received THAT email. Other email from them, yes, but not THAT one. Something's fishy...

Except for ETH whales I guess everybody will just receive OMG dust... If you are lucky you will be able to buy yourself a candy with that

From the title of this discussion I thought it was about the idea that perhaps more airdrops will take place in future seeing the success of DeepOnion. No matter what people think, it is undisputable that DeepOnion is having success. This may change in future, as it is with every coin. If someone would sell 1% of the existing bitcoins the price would crash to a dollar or less - so nothing can be given for granted in this field. But I see that the original discussion of this thread has died out immediately.
Yeah sadly, it got distorted to scam talking :/ That especially silly since there are already threads dedicated to that where people can have fun arguing about that. To go back to the theme of this thread, I guess this looks to many extents like an emulation of Deeponion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2056867.0

I've read the new rule that new people who apply for the airdrop are accepted only starting from the rank of Members. I guess (and hope) this does not apply to Junior Members who are ALREADY in the airdrop. But I think it does not apply since the Junior Member signature is still listed in the page of the signatures.

I guess sooner or later there basically won't be platforms and even coins NOT offering also smart contracts. So the answer is YES

It looks like the airdrop will be such a little quantity of OMG that it is cheaper in terms of time/efforts to just buy some in an Exchange )

These days BTC and BCC are playing ping pong stealing hashpower to each others. Miners move their machines to the chain which makes them more money. So the one which will make more money to miners will be the winner. We will discover which at some point.

I think Byteball can be very valuable in the future. And of course waves. Both have a wide range of features which should attract more and more users in future.

I too think waves would have been (and still is) a more promising option. However, I would wait for the next pump before selling. These days a lot of alts are getting pumped again, and I'd would wait for SC to be higher than the price I've paid it before selling. And when it's higher, if you still want to ride SC then at least put a stop loss at a price when you are still positive.

Dies someone know the exact mechanics of this hack? The only rumor is that Enigma's CEO had the same passports for all his services, but what happened exactly?

It is nice to see a community which is so excited about a new project. I'd also like to get this excitement but it would help if someone would explain on the thread what this coin is exactly, its reason to be and its horizon.

In theory I like the new rule that from now on the posts must be of good quality to be valid, but in the practice this is introducing an element of arbitrarity - how to distinguish good quality from bad quality? Rules should be as objective as possible, once they get subjective you open the doors to criticism.
The main issue is that we're trying to build value within the Threads - I mean, we only need so many "Wow, look at the price" or "Can't wait for my free Onions" posts. I just finished reviewing a lot of accounts, and can attest to the utter garbage people post. Its the patterns. For example, Day before the drop, 10x posts are made, very low quality, and in most instances, those people aren't involved in the community at all. It isn't that we're going over each post with a fine tooth comb, it really is just about ensuring there's at least some quality in what is being posted. Heck, sometimes the posts are poor, but their activity is positive, and so that can balance it out. It's really the combo of poor posts + Zero activity in the community + old signatures that we're weeding out. I agree that if the posts consist just in "Wow, look at the price" or "Can't wait for my free Onions" the level of information shared with the community is zero, and to treat it as such is wise. Plus if it's a combo of factors it makes even more sense. By the way, I have just looked at the price and I have said "wow". Now even more I can't wait for my free onions!

Hi, can anyone explain is SHIFT an competitor to Maidsafe or it has different approach and different goals? I`ve seen a lot of allegations that SHIFT is unique project, but i find it kinda similar to maidsafe?
You can say Shift is a subset of MaidSafe. MaidSafe's scope is much much bigger than any project on blockchain currently. Shift is just decentralized web hosting while MaidSafe is going to decentralize the whole Internet starting at the protocol and ISP level. If MaidSafe ever succeeds, it will change our lives forever because censorship will be thing of the past. The MaidSafe project has been in development since 2006, way before blockchain was invented, so it's not based on blockchain technology. Shift is kind of like maid, only without encryption and tor, but it will be available under normal DNS, so shift will be better for adoption. The other 'competitors' ignore the fact that over half the webs traffic is mobile also. Shifts scalablity is huge using lisk codebase, nothing else could really be more perfect for a decentralized internet solution in my opinion. Decentralized hosting solution in parallel of a decentralized application platform. With IPFS, you can pin content that you want to see hosted forever … the blooming of Web 3.0 with an ecosystem built in from the get go, which SHIFT is the spearhead of. No single point of failure, freedom of creation, built-in payment system. Thanks, this are truly excellent answers. And I see the price looks quite attractive right now.

This is exactly my same concern. It would be nice if someone could outine in a few lines the differences between these two projects.

It looks like this ICO has been successful on one side, but unsuccessfulk on the other one - now the whole community is pissed off they were not allowed to buy and someone bought before ICo start.
