Atleast if i assume your family member passed away from Covid. Family members did die from Covid. I was being sarcastic. I have a friend who was a vocal denier for a long time (IT'S ALL A FAKE) and now he has infected his wife and two young children. I can understand your rage/anger/frustration, i had the same last year when one of my family member died from Covid. Broke some things in my house out of frustration. |

Was talking to a surgeon dude the other day, and he brought up an interesting per-capita point about India having a relatively low death rate.
Even in the densest slums packed with over 2 million people, the death rate is pretty low.
Why ?
It's because they are all on HCQ over there for anti-malaria purposes. They make the stuff in India, so it's passed out like candy at $0.02 a pill. Just need one dose a week.
HCQ, coupled with Zinc, has been proven to reduce cytokine storm severity, providing prophylactic capability against severe COVID-19 infection. Called my doctor, after talking to surgeon dude, asking for HCQ as prophylaxis, and doctors are largely refusing to fill orders for it in the US, for, reasons.
Everything is dumb.
The pfarma industry/lobby in the U.S is very powerfull so it's for their interest to inject you with a still-not-fully-utilized 100% vaccine to make mega profits.  Although, India will suffer another wave around April just like last year. |

Capital gains tax isn't as bad as you think: long-term, our tax system is worse. Depending on how much you own, you pay 0 to 1.76% savings tax per year. At the highest rate (which, unfortunately, I don't pay), you're down 16.3% in 10 years. In 20 years, taxes take 29.9% and in 40 years you lose 51.8% to taxes. At least a capital gains tax is only once and you're done. That's why i don't tell them how much i hodl longterm, not going to pay unnecessary taxes. They will lower it to 100k ore even lift it to 500k, i don't know yet, final prosposal will be more clear later this year. You can use these new tax rules into your financial planning, for example; if they accept the new 440k free of taxes rule you can sell 400k worth of corn at each 4 year cycle high. So you only pay taxes with the coins they know about. It doesn't matter anyway, it will be laughable. Next question will be, are you happy with 100k each year ore 8300 euro every month? |
