I just tried using the current version of bitaddress.org on both chrome and firefox, and neither of them work any more for me.
I wiggle the mouse until the entropy collection reaches 100%, and then nothing happens. The screen stays full of the green dots I have drawn.
The console says: "TypeError: ninja.unitTests is undefined[Learn More]" in Firefox, and - ugh - just started working again in Chrome. I tried a few times and it failed. Now I tried one more time to copy/paste the error messages and it worked!

It shouldn't be hard to figure out where the coins are coming from right? Can someone using their lending programs send a tiny amount of BCC from the internal wallet to an external wallet next time they convert interest. Then we can look at the blockchain and see where the source is coming from.
When you withdraw BCC from the site into an external wallet, the BCC coins will come from the site's hot wallet. That's not the interesting part since it obscures the accounting. Exchanges typically operate off-chain - you don't get to see an entry on any blockchain when people exchange one currency for another. It all just happens in a traditional database system.

I know a guy that shorted Herbalife because he THOUGHT it was a big scam, now Bill Ackman is down billions in that bet! You can ASSUME anything! Bill shorted that at $50 now it is at $73 3 years later. Don't be to sure about anything, he called that a Ponzi and MLM scam! If Herbalife goes out of business in 10 years does that make him right?
Herbalife has an actual product. They sell large amounts of that product to their distributors and make a profit doing so. The distributors often end up with a garage full of product that they can't sell and can't return, but the parent company itself makes a good profit from this. While a large percentage of Herbalife distributors never make a profit and feel like they've been scammed, at least the business model is sustainable for the parent company so long as they can keep finding new distributors willing to buy their products in bulk. I've seen the presentations that MLM companies put on, emphasizing the riches that can easily be yours if you sign up, appealing to people's greed. It does feel kind of scammy since relatively few people make a success of "the opportunity", but I don't think I'd call it a scam. It's kind of a grey area. Compare this to a Ponzi scheme where the scheme needs to be bringing in new capital at an ever increasing rate just to keep up with the interest payments it has promised its "investors". |

There is only question that needs to be answered that no one has answered. Where does the BCC come from when you convert interest to BCC? That is what everyone should be focusing on.
I would have thought that was obvious: You deposit your BTC, convert them to BCC, lend the BCC to the bot, which converts them back to BTC, trades them for USD and back to BTC, then the bot converts them back to BCC, gives them to you and you convert them to BTC and withdraw them. What could be simpler? What do you mean they could do away with BCC altogether and avoid 4 conversions per loan? Are you crazy? |

Is it really a scam if no one has lost any money?
All Ponzi schemes start out paying their investors. Nobody loses any money until the scam stops paying. And then everyone who still has money with them loses it. So yes, it can really be a scam even if nobody has lost money yet. Read through any of the old Ponzi threads on this forum. You'll find page after page of people saying "they are paying so it can't be a scam", followed by a few pages of people saying "I didn't get my payment today, did you?", "no, I didn't either". Some of the earlier scam promoters will try to keep the crowd quiet for a bit while others will move on to the next scam thread. Sometimes the scammer goes to jail. Usually they don't. It never ends well for the majority of big "investors". |

if the first quarter Betking buys back 5% of the 10% offered, or 5,000,000 BKB - with then next quarter divide the profit by 95,000,000 outstanding BKB? Or will it always be divided by 100,000,000?
Basically, what happens to the re-purchased shares? And how will that affect future profits for the investors?
Surely: when shares are purchased they stop being owned by the seller, and start being owned by the buyer. If Dean buys 5 million shares from investors, Dean will have 5 million more shares than he had before, and so will get an extra 5% of the profit. Investors will get 5% less of the profit, but individual investors who don't sell won't be affected by those who do. |

If people would quit using exchange addresses for faucets and other micro-payments, we wouldn't have that problem and it'd be cheaper.
Exchanges should talk to the faucets who are spamming them and find an off-chain solution. That's what I did when I found my dice site being spammed by tiny faucet payments. Instead of having to consolidate thousands of worthless dust payments each day like I used to have to, now I provide an API to the faucet such that they can instantly debit their own account and credit the faucet user's account. It saves the faucet transaction fees when making the payments, it saves me transaction fees when tidying up their mess, and it makes the payments instant. win/win/win. Please explain to me why the exchange "has" to increase its withdrawal fee to 3700x of the normal fee. I would understand a 10x, or even say 100x more fee but 3700x ?? I cannot understand that, can someone break (the technical part) it down ? What is the fee at cryptox.pl ? Cryptopia has Withdrawal Fee: 0.00002000 GBYTE. So it has 100x less than bittrex, 37x of normal fee, this is relatively acceptable. They don't have to, they choose to. Byteball fees are far too low. They in no way cover the cost of storing the transaction forever. If bittrex wants to charge a fee for withdrawals, they are free to do so. If you choose not to use their service because you don't like their fees, that's your right. What bittrex does is theft in broad daylight

I synced as full wallet now but when trying to restore my GBYTE wallet with seed it just says no active addresses found, who can help on this issue?
I have been able to restore wallets on my full node. If you want me to try with yours, send me your seed words. I'd recommend encrypting them to my PGP key. And only someone your seed words if you trust them not to steal your coins. If I'm able to recover your wallet I'll send the balance to a new address for you. |

It doesn't matter who posted it. They are promoting a Ponzi scam for their own gains. Trevon does the same thing.
