Honestly, I always believe in the blockchain. But bitcoin as a whole already doesn't have any good reputation anyways. This will definitely destroy the price, but not the technology.

Update, the funds stolen are 119,756 btc. that means aprox 60 millions USD Do you think that Bitfinex will cover this amount and it will business as usual? Definitely not. They only earn on trading fees. I was surprised to even see bitstamp make it back after being hacked for 18K bitcoins. 120K bitcoins is not covereable in any manner. They don't even have assets to continue.

Is security really this far behind that a exchange can't sure customer funds?
This isn't anything new, mtgox was same way and it happened 2 years ago At the time of mtgox bitcoin hadn't seen such a hack before. It was the first big one of its kind and there wasn't even multisig back then. Its really sad to see this after a multisig has come into the market.

Already hit 482, at this rate we might even see 400 by morning. The miners and the CHinese haven't woken up yet. I fear we might drop much lower post that.

I doubt there will be a hardfork. But I still can;t imagine 120K coins were hacked. How is that even possible when they had multisig enabled ?

110,000 BTC ---- I would say "bye, bye Bitfinex". Nobody will cover this amount ! I would buy a ticket to China for tomorrow morning if I would be a Bitfinex's client i warned about Bitfinex since 4-5 months ago (see my previous post about it) I am more curious about how it happened. Wasn't it on multisig ? How could both the keys have been compromised. The only reason I can think of that happening would be an inside job. Tomorrow will tell.

Check out blocknet guys, they have a working decentralized exchange, you can trade between several altcoins and BTC at the monent.
Still in beta, but is working.
It will put an end to this shit.
its almost impossible for us to know. This can very easily be an inside job as it involved multisig, and there is no way the hacker could have both the keys.

It was just confirmed by zanet, the amount is around 119K BTC. Terrible loss for the bitcoin community. Lets hope something comes out of legal cases.

Traded on LTC at a major price increase. Had bought a lot of them at around 0.004 btc, and sold them when they went around 3x in price. Not the biggest multiplier in a payout, but it was big because the amount I had purchased it for was close to 10 btc.

The rates he has right now, are actually very low. Its around 38K, while the average for normal transactions or bank transfers is around 43K. So definitely better for anyone to first convert to cash, and then refill their paytm wallet.

Yes, all dices are provably fair. So you can look into the guides on the site themselves which prove the bets are provably fair. There are also external verifiers which can confirm the bets are fair. Just make sure to change the client seed initially to be sure it wasn't preset to make you lose more.

Does boot mean that the account will level up automatically with the bot or something else ? Is there any risk of the account getting banned after this ?
Using bot like that is called cheating and breaking developer tos If you get caught by them ofcourse your account in risk I know they look into all the cases or atleast claim to be looking into accounts which do this, but its almost impossible even for them to check out how people cheat considering millions of people play this, and something like GPS spoofing, isn't something they can detect using a bot. They can only check for the time it took to level up, and if its very low, then they can detect it.

Just wanted to update on this, the account expired in the past 2 days. However it doesn't seem he has been online since 27th , so looks like he is no longer selling it.
What do you mean by expired? I am also using a bot on my accounts and they are all above LV 30 so I want to stop if there are some risks. I had received an account recently which was levelled up artificially , here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1564680.msg15778582#msg15778582Unfortunately the account expired, or was banned just 2 days back.

Not yet gone through it, but I have heard a lot of people comment on this, and say the next big depression is about to happen. Unfortunately the US after last time, didn't fix much of the things that caused the depression in the first place, so it can definitely happen again, but I don't think they will let it happen this time. I read somewhere the problem is actually bigger this time, because the banks are even bigger this so a collapse like the one which happened in Iceland, could really shake it all.

Let me know if you need anyone else to vouch. How much levelling up can we expect out of 1 hr ? Would this face the risk of getting the account banned after this ?

They currently don't seem to have any such system. I doubt an Indian company would start accepting bitcoin.

Happened with me last year on the roulette table. I had around 1 btc on the table, and was betting small (0.05-0.1 btc) mostly on black/red and the rows. Mistakenly, I dropped 0.1 BTC on a number just seconds before the countdown closed, and I got lucky that it landed on the number. Most excited I have ever been on a roulette table. It was an easy almost 3.5 btc of profit off that mistake.

At 1.1 odds and 50 bets, I highly doubt you will get there all the way. Instead would suggest doing something along the lines of 1.2-1.3, where you will have to make lesser number of good decisions.
