821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have a clear understanding of what DCA means on: September 23, 2023, 07:36:53 AM
I do not like the DCA method, because you are forced to buy at regular intervals and you cannot capitalize on the fluctuations in the price. I think it is better to buy low and to sell high.

I would much rather hoard when the price are high and buy when the price is low and then sell again and acquire more bitcoins when I use the increased profits from the coins that I sold at a high price.  Cool
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 23, 2023, 07:30:01 AM
I have seen scammers that are scamming the scammers with fake accounts or hacked accounts ......which should be done to these criminals. You just have to make sure that your real identity are not exposed in any way.

You never know if the casino or one of their employees are working with these syndicates to launder the money or to place these fixed bets.  Huh These are the people that are causing innocent people to jump through several hoops to get them verified.   Tongue
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoCasino.com 💰 100% up to 20 mBTC Welcome Bonus + 200 Free Spins 🎰 on: September 23, 2023, 07:22:48 AM

Welcome! Not exploring the site first but here are some of my basic questions;

Click the “Deposit” button below. Enter an amount, currency and payment method. You’ll get 200 Free Spins if your first deposit is $100 or more. Otherwise, you’ll
get 100 Free Spins.

Users need to have a $100 first deposit to be eligible for 200 Free spins. Is that applied to all slot games and how much is the bet amount here?

What's the amount referring to "otherwise"? Does it mean, 100 free spins will be credited even for a minimum deposit amount?

Yes, that is not all..... the money that you do get, must be wagered 30 times before the funds can be withdrawn.  Roll Eyes I hate it when casinos use tricks like this to attract people to "free"  Roll Eyes money, but you never get a fair chance to get it.  Angry

In any way... the casino looks good and it offers a lot of entertainment.. but most people are not going to deposit $100 just to try it. There are a lot of competition out there, where they do not use tricks like this.  Tongue
824  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Building my own HODL service for lazy friends/family on: September 22, 2023, 06:40:13 PM
I have seen people who sold "metal" engraved paper wallets and/or Casascius coins, which is physical bitcoins with a stored private key that are generated by a computer...seemingly without the creator knowing what the Private key is that are generated.  Roll Eyes

I prefer to do everything myself and not to trust anyone else with my Private key.... but I will help family members if they want me to help them. I will not sell my services, because people will blame me if something goes wrong and the private key are hacked.  Wink
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 22, 2023, 06:34:39 PM
The question you have to ask yourself is this.... Are you trying to make up your losses OR are you addicted to the thrill of risking your money to do it? A lot of gamblers are addicted to the "good" feel endorphins that are released in the brain when they risk a lot of money on a big bet....   Sad

This is the first signs of gambling addiction and you have to be aware of that... because you are possibly going in that direction. You should decide if you are going to gamble for fun or if you are going to gamble to make a profit.  Tongue
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 22, 2023, 06:27:18 PM
I think most casinos are using "no" KYC verification as a tool to attract lots of "new" users and it is not a long-term goal for them. They will start with zero requirements and then once they received a lot of gamblers, then they quickly change their requirements.

They need to "hook" you with something and they know the regulators are not bothered with smaller casinos. So they fund their bankroll with gamblers from countries than are banned by other casinos.... then the regulators notice them and they force them to request verification.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
827  Economy / Economics / Re: The Kids buying Mcdonald order via BTC on: September 22, 2023, 06:17:54 PM
How do you guys know this is a pay point for McDonald's...? It can be a Bitcoin ATM in a McDonald's restaurant or it might not even be in a McDonald's restaurant..  Roll Eyes

In any way.... the kids are the future of Bitcoin and we should be happy that there are kids willing to use it as a currency. Most people today wants to use Bitcoin as a commodity and the currency side of things are neglected.  Sad
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does this still count? on: September 22, 2023, 06:11:07 PM
I do not think you have to go that far to protect your tokens, because most people store their coins in hardware wallets and they are Ok. I have some coins in hardware wallets and the long-term coins are stored on Paper Walets.. that I created with a air-gapped computer.

If you are very paranoid, you can buy a cheap second hand computer and you can create those paper wallets with the computer not connected to the Internet and then you can destroy it. (So if some Malware were storing information and waiting for it to connect, before it send the information.. then you can prevent that)  Wink
829  Economy / Economics / Re: If They Can Pay off their Debts, Why Don't They? on: September 21, 2023, 08:00:48 PM
A lot of those countries cannot keep ahead of the debt... because their expenditure are way more than their income. They might pay off some debt and then they have to borrow again to fund whatever government project or crisis that happens.  Roll Eyes

The first world countries are eager to give them loans, because it gives them leverage to get the things that they need for their country. They will then take control over things that generate income or profit for them.  Roll Eyes
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 21, 2023, 07:55:13 PM
You do not understand the whole idea behind this "NO KYC" strategy, because it is done to acquire startup funds for the legitimate phase that follows that phase. The majority of the smaller casinos start out with the "NO KYC" thing to gain as much new gamblers as possible and then once enough startup capital are raised.... the start to enforce KYC requirements.  Roll Eyes

Some people say the smaller casinos operate under the radar of the authorities and that the authorities are looking the other way... but once they grow big enough.... regulators start taking notice and they force them to require verification.
831  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: September 21, 2023, 07:47:14 PM
Yeah congratulations to everyone who already claimed their monthly bonus,  I am on transit and only on mobile for now,  but before the next 6 hours I will be with my PC and to know how much I have as bonus for the last month,  although I hard less activities in last month compared to the July when I wagered a lot more that last month.

We can claim montly bonus using phone. I always claim my bonus using a phone. You never tried it?

How much you have montly bonus, it depends on your wagers. If do you have a lot wager you can get a lot bonus too. Good luck!

You should not encourage someone to use their mobile phone, while they are driving. Yes, you can claim the bonus via your phone.. but you should not do that while you operate a vehicle.  Wink

The base amount seems a lot smaller these days, because a lot of my friends said they did not gamble the last few months and this months was the smallest claim they made.... ?
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the idea behind the creation of Bitcoin? on: September 21, 2023, 07:40:51 PM
Those was the original ideas for the "use case" for Bitcoin as a currency, but most people saw the phenomenal profit potential in using Bitcoin as a commodity and they started to hoard it.

The wild fluctuation in the price are not ideal for businesses to accept Bitcoin as a currency, so they started to make use of payment processors to convert all Bitcoin payments into Fiat currency...and that defeats the purpose of using Bitcoin as a currency.  Roll Eyes
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: George Residence becomes first hotel to accept Bitcoin in Nigeria on: September 21, 2023, 07:35:55 PM
It is always nice to see innovation like this, but if there are not people supporting this, then it is all for nothing. I saw many businesses starting to accept Bitcoin as a payment option and then after a few months, the same business only accept Fiat currencies again.

The reason for this is that people are seeing Bitcoin as a commodity and they rather want to use it an investment option and they do not want to spend it.  Tongue
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 19, 2023, 06:47:24 AM
I had some good fun when I started gambling at Stake.com a few years ago, because they had a pretty good RTP and I regularly won small enough jackpots to fund my entertainment. Since they signed multi Million Dollar deals with paid streamers and Soccer clubs and UFC fighters and celebrities like Drake.... the RTP has changed a lot and players are winning much less.

It is not fun, when you deposit $1000 and you sit in front of your computer and you watch it going down the drain. Yes, you still win very small amounts, but nothing as huge as you used to win.

It is entertaining, when you deposit say $100 and you can play for say an hour ....but lately $100 will not last you 10 or 20 minutes, because it is just one long losing streak.  Roll Eyes
835  Economy / Gambling / Re: Aviator predictor app to estimate 1xbet crash game on: September 19, 2023, 06:26:42 AM
You have the perfect combination for a scammers paradise, namely "Telegram / 1xbet / Predictor App" ....so be careful. The "Aviator" game work on a CLIENT seed and a SERVER seed and a RNG (Random number generator) and the same seed are used for all the players that are playing the game. (shared seed)

Every single bet stand on it's own, it does not remember the previous bets, but the RTP will favor the house in the long-run. So, no APP can calculate the outcome of future bets, based on the bets that has been done in the past.  Roll Eyes
836  Economy / Economics / Re: On Apple's $200 billion dump and US shooting itself in the foot on: September 19, 2023, 06:17:07 AM
Well, take for instance the "ASIC" chip development and manufacturing in Crypto currency mining.... Silicon Valley will never be able to catch up to the Asian manufacturing capabilities and the technology that they have patented.  Roll Eyes

The US Government (NASA) are not the power house it used to be and countries like India are now landing spacecraft on the Moon. The most technologically advanced countries are now coming from South Korea and Taiwan and the most sophisticated hackers are coming from North Korea and Russia.  Roll Eyes
837  Other / Off-topic / Re: Craig Wright deliberately made a fool of us all with his cyrptographic proof on: September 19, 2023, 05:39:06 AM
He only made a fool of himself and possibly also of Gavin Andresen who supported him with that.  Roll Eyes  He is a narcissist with zero consciousness of what the truth is and what Satoshi Nakamoto stood for.... so why would he fake it, if he wants the fame and fortune?

He likes to be in the limelight and he plays tricks like a true "Snake oil salesman" ..but a scorpion will never change it's behavior. Let's forget about this fool and just focus on people who wants to build Bitcoin and not sell it to the highest bidder.  Roll Eyes

838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is only Bitcoin and nothing else on: September 19, 2023, 05:27:31 AM
I can remember a time when there were basically only 3 coins, namely Bitcoin ...LiteCoin... and DogeCoin and we laughed at the other two coins, because we were loyal to Bitcoin (BTC) .....then developers saw a way to make quick money and they created 1000s of Shitcoins and greedy people chased it, like it was a new Gold Rush.

I stayed with Bitcoin and I just bought more and more .... until I collected enough to sell those coins at a massive profit. Some of my friends bought "Shitcoins" and they are all bag holders now..   Tongue
839  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My crypto news site - cryptotalk.tech on: September 18, 2023, 06:09:48 AM
So it is a news aggregator and you have a plugin that retrieves the first paragraph from other websites and adds a link if the user wants to continue reading the actual article and not just two words about it. Which might be your biggest weakness.
You are wrong my friend, the plugin retrieves the full article with the main image, and it doesn't add the link to the source.

Don't you think you should still have the source of the article cited? This can be interpreted as plagiarism, which can have a very bad effect on the rating on Google.
At least in these few articles that I have opened, the source is not listed, but it is presented as written by the site admin.

Yes, I am with you on that one... you should always credit the original source with the content that you post, even if the author are mentioned in the article that are posted.

A news aggregator does not take credit for something that someone else paid for... they simply help those sites to distribute their content for more exposure. (views & clicks)  Roll Eyes

Also, your site are very slow .....and that does not motivate me to use that over other aggregator sites.  Roll Eyes Tongue
840  Economy / Economics / Re: Was just watching the big short. Why do the times suddenly feel similar? on: September 18, 2023, 05:55:42 AM
I get a even worst feeling, when I see what are happening on the military side. We know that when we are on the brink of an economical collapse, countries tend to go to war, to deflect the attention away from what is happening in the economy. (When it eventually collapse, they blame the war)

We have North Korea visiting Putin in Russia and we have the war in the Ukraine that are being funded by other nations... and we have the BRICS countries moving away from the "West".

There are wheels that are set in motion for a WWIII to happen.... and I think we are passed the stage, where this can be stopped.
