821  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 22, 2015, 04:59:50 AM
It all depends on your choosing, whenever you like the flexibility of having control of your own money, or to have the ability to earn interest from your savings account, I would like to state that each has their advantages and disadvantages. So until Bitcoin becomes a mainstream currency, it is best to use both a bank account and a Bitcoin wallet. Just my opinion.  Smiley
there are advantages and disadvantages of both, the best is use both
I like the bank because there is interest  Grin

But I love bitcoin because there are huge returns compared to any bank interest. But still bitcoin goes to mainstream I will be forced to use both bitcoin as well as bank account. But definitely bitcoin will give more retunrs than any bank interests in long term basis.

This might be a unfortunate situation even we have more advantageous on bitcoin we are still forced to use bank accounts. Maybe bitcoin is only six years old is the reason, once we get the matured bitcoin ecosystem, we can simply leave off our traditional banking system. Hoping for those wonderful days.
822  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: November 21, 2015, 12:57:22 PM
It is not a good idea for me. My earnings in bitcoin is not yet stable and I have mouths to feed. So I am still very reliant on my day job's paycheck. When the time comes that my bitcoin earnings can support my family, then I will consider leaving my day job and focus full time on bitcoin. Until that day, doing tasks for BTC would remain my side jobs.

you can start invest at bitcoin
save your earning from bitcoin and hold it

some people says at 2016 bitcoin price can back to $1000  Roll Eyes

That's exactly what I'm doing. I still have my job and do a bit of bitcoin on the side.

You may retire from your current job in 5 to 10 years regardless of your age if you earn and hold some 100 bitcoins in these period. I'm not joking, bitcoin price will hit $1000 in 2016 then in two years it may test $10k. Over all in next five to ten years, we can expect one million dollar per one bitcoin. Just calculate how much you need for rest of your life.

Everybody here discussing about quitting current job but you are saying about retiring from working for rest of life. I believe in bitcoin so in your words too.
Early retiring is a dream for everybody, only bitcoin has given some hope on my early retirement.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: November 20, 2015, 05:59:52 AM
True, the only way to get a decent ammount of BTC by faucets, is by having referrals there.

Usually many bitcoiners here do see faucet earning as time consuming - less rewarding - work needed(not automated like mining).
Fortunately we can make faucet earning into a ultimate way of bitcoin earning by having huge number of referrals under us.
If we have more referrals in a faucet, then we can enjoy automated earning which would be multiple of usual faucet claim.

But the catch is how you advertise your referral link to make it popular to have more referrals under you.
It again goes to SEO techniques. Usually people think for earning bitcoin by solving captcha than convincing a friend to join a faucet using his referral link.

Advertising your refeeral link must be a one time work which is more similar to mining set up. Once you got your friend signed up using your referral link, then whenever he makes a faucet claim you will earn some Satoshi in an automated way.
Today I learned new view on faucet earning. I will go for it.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 19, 2015, 05:12:41 AM
When you win, you always feel like you could win more.

When you lose, all you want to do is win what you lost back.

Yes both winning in gambling or losing make a gambler to play again and again.
In the event of losses, people are blindly believing to recover their losses from same game. I am too like that, but I do not know how we are believing a gambling play to recover our losses. This may be a starting point of addiction.
Keeping yourself to gamble again and again by not letting you think of anything else but only about making profit with gambling is the point where gambling makes people getting addicted.
Both winners and losers stay again to gamble to make profit either to make big profits or to cover the losses.

Yes these addictive things will not let you analyze yourself. It means gambling addiction will overcome our perception power of analyzing our mistakes. The only motto in front of every gambler is just making more profit.
825  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: November 18, 2015, 07:24:14 PM
No one knows the future guys. but according to its fame and easy to use transact it looks that it will replace all the digital currencies.
its will replace including paypal, perfectmoney, okpay or other ?
yeah i think bitcoin will be the first one payment processor for all payment

Yes currently almost with all payment processor, we can deposit as well as withdraw funds. That's the beauty of bitcoin we can adopt bitcoin each and every possible sectors. Soon, all the banks around the world will adopt bitcoin for depositing as well as withdrawing funds.

That is the point, we call as going mainstream.
If all the banks in the world start accepting bitcoin as one of payment option then we can see bitcoin is spendable everywhere. Then no one can stop bitcoin going to moon level price.

This is the future of bitcoin. We see every banks accept bitcoin so that bitcoin will be a part of our everyday life.
But many people do not want bitcoin again going back with our traditional bank. Because bitcoin itself a banking system, we don't need any traditional bank's aid to make bitcoin into mainstream.

To make bitcoin spendable everywhere we do not need banks to accept bitcoin for depositing.
Just with the bitcoin debit card we can do spending everywhere we wish. So already we are in progress towards mainstream without any help from any bank.

With a Bitcoin wallet, have a great advantage towards a bank account, for many reasons. Those are the ones that helped me choose a Bitcoin wallet over a bank account (although sometimes it is necessary to have a bank account as well).  Roll Eyes

The reasons are the following:

1. Lower fees than banks
2. Total control of your funds
3. Send and/or receive money almost instantly.
4. No limits or restrictions on the amount of money I deposit into.
5. And no central authority.  Cheesy

I just wanted to continue your listing...

6. There is no problem of nominations to inherit to your next generation.
7. No annual fee or maintenance fee or any penalties
8. Can have unlimited accounts (address/wallet) to make some special accounts like retirement account.
9. No account opening hassles. Get a bitcoin address instantly.
10. International fund transfer facility and safety locker facility (cold storage) are free and instant.

You people got real facts as well as funny too.
Without knowing these I have been loving bitcoin so far. Now I came to know the reason for bitcoin's success. If some one summarize these bitcoin's advantage over traditional banks that must be very much helpful for spreading bitcoin with another reason.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your bitcoins ? on: November 18, 2015, 02:13:20 PM
im still storing my bitcoin at blockchain from beginning, i've got no problem but some of my friend say that blockchain isn't safe, i would give trezor a try  Grin probably it's the most secure wallet in bitcoin world

It is better not to store bitcoin in online service unless there is multsignature feature. If there is a security flaw in the online system, you might be in trouble.
Keeping your bitcoin under your control must be the safest way of storing hard-earned bitcoins. So I do always prefer go for desktop bitcoin wallets for storing my bitcoins. These wallets stores more secure if you disconnect them from Internet, the off-line, cold storage way.

But with an online wallets you need not worry of securing your private keys like disconnecting from internet for a cold storage and connecting again for spending which are more complicated for beginners. All the above with an online wallet you can access your bitcoins anywhere in the world, you never need to carry them.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: November 16, 2015, 05:21:05 PM
i just said that. can or not, it's depends on you. nothing is impossible in gambling. you can a get big win or you can lose all your bitcoin/money.

Even though nothing is impossible, it is better not to gamble with all your money. The gamblers as a whole will lose in long term. So only gamble with small proportion of disposable income.

People have their own right to decide if they're going all in or not..

just accept that there are people who took a path that they made gambling as their living..

Everybody is responsible for his own action. We will just say that if somebody gamble with all his possessions, and lose it all, it is quite devastating. If he just gamble with small amount of money, there is no problem to gamble at all. Gambling is for fun if it is done properly.

Yes gambling will be perfect if it is done only for entertainment and not looking for money making. When we gamble with the small amount of betting, then there is a lot of chances and time to learn the gambling techniques to make it profitable. Then gambling would be for living.

If you are able to make some profit than gambling is for living. Otherwise gambling should be done only for entertainment purpose, but that time also living for gambling is not at all possible for any people unless they born with silver spoon.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: November 16, 2015, 05:11:34 PM
I don't think I am that greedy. I play dice very rarely and sometimes roulette, and I'm not expecting anything back. I hope for the best and expect the worst. You just can't make a living off gambling.

Expecting the worst things to happen may be the form of not greedy. But expecting the worst and accepting the best must be the principle of leading a happy life which is beautifully applicable even for gambling.

If you expect a loss in gambling then you cannot win any profit. Positive attitude and mindset is more important while you're gambling. I do believe in making profits even I face losses. Expect the best things to happen in our life always.
830  Economy / Gambling / Re: What attracts you to a casino? on: November 16, 2015, 05:09:26 PM
for a physical casino, I always go for a friendly ambiance, a place where I'll be comfortable playing even if I don't have much money with me, and pretty card card dealers as well Grin
I have never visited any physical casino house yet. But I still find more attraction towards online casino as I could make my time more entertaining even I end up with some losses in my gambling.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 16, 2015, 05:05:28 PM
Tomorrow we also have Pak vs Eng 3rd ODI which is going to be very interesting.Well I would like to see which team wins toss and which will bat first before take risk on any team.

In UAE, we can bet on first of batting team always, because there are lot of chances like almost 90% of times the first betting team has won here. I will put more odds on the first batting team as both England and Pakistan looks evenly stronger to each other.
832  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: November 15, 2015, 09:24:03 AM
I like Bitcoin because its anonymous we  dont need identitiy  Grin
Yes you don't need to unveiled your identity for using bitcoins. Even the addresses which are holding your bitcoin are anonymous, but the transactions using those addresses are public. It means tracing transactions are possible through bitcoin's blockchain. It is the ionic feature of bitcoin.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best investment? on: November 15, 2015, 06:51:12 AM
But I do see bitcoin as mid-long term investment. Unlike gold the do not need to wait for some 10 or 15 years for a good return from bitcoin. We can expect very much decent return from bitcoin within two or three years itself.

The bitcoin is not a good medium term investment as the price is too volatile. The volatility is over 40% a year. So  it cannot be regarded as a store of value. When the bitcoin is adopted more, its value will increase and the volatility will decrease, it can be a good investment.

Maybe bitcoin is not suitable for midterm investments. But those who have invested in bitcoin by 2012 December at the price of $12, must be in profit in 2015 November at least 20 times. So bitcoin is the best investment if you are ready to hold for some long time like 2 to 3 years.
834  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: November 14, 2015, 06:08:33 PM
We still need around 5 to 10 years to this technology to be heavily understood and used by regular people.
I am optimistic about it and I think its' price will rise.

Like smart phone or computer or Internet, bitcoin also will be adopted to people very easily may be after some initial hurdles. New technologies are slowly accepted people so far, same way bitcoin also will be accepted by people very soon. At the time we can expect more price rise because of mass adoption of bitcoin.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 14, 2015, 07:29:21 AM
Bitcoins are designed for spending, not for holding. It's a currency, not an investment.

But nonetheless I would love to see a price rise in bitcoins however, as I do have some large investments denominated in bitcoins.

If bitcoin system is desinged only for spending then we cannot call it as gold 2.0, bitcoin is capped for total supply it means when demand rises the price of bitcoin also will raise. So bitcoin would be an investment until all the bitcoin are mined out then may be price will get stabilized for spending.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin have you donated? on: November 14, 2015, 07:05:36 AM
So far nothing. Not sure if I really would as there isn't any way for me to know they are actually spending it on things we donate for. That's why local charities are much better to donate to since you can see where your money gets used for.

Yes I too have not donated any bitcoins to any organization. But with the fiats I have donated to many orphanage houses and for some child educations. The reason is obvious, I do not want to spend bitcoin in anyways. That is the reason I am still in zero for the bitcoin donation.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best investment? on: November 14, 2015, 07:00:33 AM
There are multiple kinds of "Good" investments.

Profitable: HYIPs
Short-term: ponzis
Long-term: Gold

These are the only ones i invest in Cheesy

They've made me profit so far.

Why about long-term investment, bitcoin not included in the list?
any reason ?
I think the best investmen in long term is bitcoin

But I do see bitcoin as mid-long term investment. Unlike gold the do not need to wait for some 10 or 15 years for a good return from bitcoin. We can expect very much decent return from bitcoin within two or three years itself.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin with Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2015, 06:53:13 AM
Gambling, Investing in a HYIP, Selling for USD and then back to BTC, or just even holding your bitcoin so it goes up in value, but not in amount. You can also take a loan, you'll get more bitcoins that way Cheesy
Gambling and Hyip, it is very risky to lose your money,
I think mining is good choice to earn bitcoin, safe and dont need expertise
Other than gambling or HYIP, we can go for bitcoin trading which is decent  way of making bitcoins with bitcoin. without any relaying on our luck factors like we do in gambling. But trading bitcoin also equivalently riskier like gambling. we need to trade carefully to make profits.
839  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: November 14, 2015, 05:56:57 AM
i like bitcoin as investment thing that can give profit by trade it and give me a freedom transactions with anonymous and low/free fee
I too love bitcoin as an investment which might be the best part of bitcoin in my view. Bitcoin must be a great investment as of current trend. We can multiply our money into many-fold which is not at all possible with any other investment or shares right now.
