821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: February 12, 2019, 04:28:11 AM
There is a correlation between gambling and crime, and we know that when somebody loses the money in gambling, he can do many things to keep playing and one thing that he can do is steal other people money so he can use that money to playing gambling games. But that does not always happen because maybe that person still has another money in his account, so he only needs to withdraw some money to continue playing gambling.

In certain situations, a gambling addict will surely find difficult conditions where he has no more fund that can be used to fulfill his gambling needs. Well, at such times, it is possible for a gambler to have a negative thought to commit a crime, whether it is misdemeanor or the serious one, because there is a strong urge to do gambling. This can happen even though the number may not be so much.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: February 12, 2019, 01:54:47 AM
I always take out my initial deposit after I've made a profit, and continue gambling with that. Best way to save yourself from getting rekt.

Whatever we do when we win can certainly be justified, however, the problem will become more complex when we are in a losing state. Can we accept the loss and continue to treat gambling as a means to seek pleasure only? or will we be carried away with emotion to chase the loss by making deposit again and again?
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: February 11, 2019, 04:03:29 PM
Young people always wanted to make money without following the hard way and that is why gambling has become the major way many of them thing they can make easy money from the market.  Young people are also more advanced in technology and most of gambling companies are now online.
They just make their childhood dream of becoming a millionaire through gambling but they never know it won't work 99.9999% in people's life.

Gamling industries are also attracting more people by giving lot of promotions in online so the you people were noticed that too early.

Young people, especially those who are still has no job yet, certainly do not have their own income. The desire to have a lot of money must be in the minds of all humans and no exception with youth. And unfortunately, gambling is the way they use as a means to realize their dreams even though in reality it actually makes most people suffer.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 11, 2019, 03:03:26 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?

So far I can still control my mind, so I still hold some of my coins. But that might change someday. If the bear continues, I might cut losses and start again from the bottom. But one thing for sure, I still believe that crypto will last longer and I will stay as long as I can.
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a reason to stay? on: February 10, 2019, 06:01:46 PM
Those who invested in bitcoin way back 2009 had not experienced any bull run before nor have much knowledge about the blockchain technology, yet they took the risk to invest. You and I have witnessed a bull run and heard about the numerous potentials of crypto so why do we still have to feel reluctant to invest in bitcoin. Let's be optimistic about our digital assets because its all we have.

Yes, those who invest earlier, around 2009, may still have little experience and knowledge at that time but the price of bitcoin at that time was still relatively cheap. And for us, especially for those who are new to crypto, to start investing in bitcoin will certainly require greater capital and that is a factor that might burden them. Cheaper alts at the moment can be picked as an alternative instead of investing in bitcoin.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: February 10, 2019, 04:00:01 PM
Applying kyc can reduce the number of bounty abusers but participants must be notified first before or when they register. So that those who reluctance to the policy will not continue to participate. I think it can give a win win solution for both hunter and developer.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 10, 2019, 02:25:10 PM

Tottenham against Leicester will kick off in about10 minutes, Both Dele alli and Harry Kane are still missing for the host, Let's see if they can get a win today without their prolific duo.
It's 12 minutes past now. Still no goal. My bet is for Tottenham to win. I am guessing 2 - 1 for Tottenham. And if they do then they will have 60 points and very close to City.

HT Tottenham 1 0 Leicester. Davinson Sanchez scored for THP in the 33rd minute. Although ball possession is more dominant for Tottenham but the number of shots on target for both teams are still balanced. I wish Tottenham will be able to maintain this result until the final whistle is blown or even scored more goals in the second half.
828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is stoploss worth it ? on: February 10, 2019, 01:11:45 PM
Stop Loss can help us financially and psychologically and yes it is feasible to apply especially for those who do short-term trading. Panic will occur when the value of our investment falls dramatically which is beyond our expectations. With a stop loss we can at least avoid a long headache when the bear lasts for a relatively long period of time. Stop loss can reduce the pressure so that for the next trading we can do it more carefully.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will end the hype of ICO ? on: February 09, 2019, 05:38:31 PM
ICO is not a HYIP. ICO is a tool for project implementation. This is a process that makes it possible to do more than just make money for this world. After all, in this way there are real opportunities for people.

Perhaps this is the idea of ICO, but in fact we see that 90% of projects simply collect money. I agree that there are exceptions, but they are drowning in a sea of bad projects.

Because the number of fake projects is more than the number of the honest one, the negative impact being resulted will certainly affect all projects. Moreover, the crypto world is experiencing lethargy lately and it can be a trigger why some investors are no longer interested in investing on ICO. I think the hype of ICO has been ended and let's wait, what is the next hype will be appear later on.
830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top reasons that leads to fail in trading on: February 09, 2019, 04:08:01 PM
Have no target by keep holding the coins in the hope for more profits when there is a chance to reap the benefits and panic of selling when the market is in the down trend are the most common things that will lead traders to lose their money. Make targets and keep steady with it no matter what will happen could give a better experience in trading.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: February 09, 2019, 01:54:52 PM
The old which are on proven trusted sites should be more helpful than new sites. As there are a lot of risky either that is legit or not. They will run for long time or will be vanish soon etc.
High risk for those newly launched casino's. If a gambler just passed by and wanted to gamble, he shouldn't go into the new ones unless he's not going to deposit much money with them.

It's internet and it's hard to trust those new ones. Gamble with the trusted casino's that has been reputable.
Common for most players/gamblers to play with reputable sites as they don't want suffer to any problem and enjoy what they already getting from the site, while with new one its a good competitions that they needed to face, they need to do everything to attract players and try the new house, in gambling
industry, players are looking for benefits while enjoying so any business old or new needs to play with that.
It's better to make sure that your money is on the right side not just with the new ones that you can't be sure with if they have good intentions or bad intentions to make with their business.

I say that there are new competitors but it's hard for them to market themselves because of the competition.

its not hard for new casinos to market themselves but as long as they have enough funds to promote thier business they can get instant attention from the people .

we can still enjoy those new gambling sites but we must not deposit larger amounts  . if you like to play with bigger bets then we must only stick on the old and trusted ones just to be safe  .

True, it's better not to take risks by depositing our money in a new casino because trust in the casino owner at this stage is not yet formed. Use a new place just as a test facility and let the time to determine the survival of such new place. There are already well established casinos, why we would risk our money in the new one.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do we still have hope to be able to see bull run?? on: February 09, 2019, 12:24:27 PM
now the market falls again, do we still have hope to be able to see bull run. no one knows when the market can recover. even with the many good news about the ethereum hardfork unable to make the market jump. so I thought bull run would only be a dream for all of us.
We should always be positive. We will only panic if we keep thinking negative. There are now many good newd right now and I am sure that we will see the big progress in the cryptocurrency market. We should just belive for us to not do panicking.

Be positive and continue to believe that the bull will return someday are two things we must remember if we want to continue this business. If not, we can be swayed by issues being spread on the internet. If we do believe that there will be no bull anymore, then there is no point in continuing this effort.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or technical, which one you do used? on: February 08, 2019, 03:06:59 PM
The issues that affect the market are many and most time it is very difficult to summarize all the information coming into the market and make an informed investments decision.  I do used technical indicators to analyze the market before investing and we have many traders and investors that holds the views that we must used technical and fundamentals indicators in analyzing the market in other to be able to make an informed investments decision.  I believe that candlestick formations and patterns contains information about both technical and fundamentals issues that came into the market.  Should I continue using candlesticks formation in interpreting the market or something might happen happen that might suspend candlesticks formation information.

If the method you are using right now is already integrated with you, you shouldn't change it. Maybe you can add a little tweak to suit the situation. In trading there are indeed many ways used and I myself prefer to use a combination of both fundamental and technical.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: February 08, 2019, 12:48:08 PM
lottery is gambling too?
If lottery is considered gambling then we all are gamblers lol. Who doesn't play lottery? Almost everyone I know has played this thing before. I played it severally a long time ago, never won  though.

Yes, lotteries are also a type of gambling because there is something we risk, albeit small, in the hope of getting a greater return. If we rarely do it, once a month for example, of course the lottery won't really affect our mindset. Bad things will arise if we are obsessed with getting the main prize and keep trying to chase it regularly. The chance to win the lottery is too small and we might not win it in a very long time.
835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: February 07, 2019, 06:44:41 PM
it is true we cannot trade by following the news that appears among us, but I think we also cannot just leave the news, because the news also has a significant influence on price movements.

Yes, there are news that will affect the market and if we ignore every news, then we may lose the opportunity to react. Indeed, not all news will have an impact on the market because there are also fake news that are deliberately made to outwit the traders. We have to filter every news that exists and try to find the truth first before reacting. In trading we do have to use as many guideline as possible so we can maximize our efforts.

836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 07, 2019, 05:34:17 PM
All the stress is on Liverpool now, they have one game less than Manchester City but during that game it is impossible for them to play calmly, all the pressure will be on them as they need to win the game at all costs if they want to continue to fight for the title or if they don't things may go a bad route for them.

They don’t need to win the game in hand, do they? A draw would take them back to 1st place.
I wasn’t impressed by Man City last night, it’s just about winning though & they did.

This weekend the games are

Liverpool vs Bournemouth
Man City vs Chelsea

Yes, the draw will be enough for Liverpool to take over the first place again. But win will certainly be much better because an additional three points will certainly make the distance wider. They, Liverpool, should not be under great pressure because they are still very likely to retake the top spot.
837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: February 07, 2019, 03:38:53 PM
While checking around, I came across some write-up of how long this bear market have been and we also get to know that this bear market is the longest.

I found out this: https://www.ccn.com/the-crypto-bear-market-wont-last/amp recently.

So what's your own opinion and say about how soon will the bear market be over?
When it ends of bear market? no one knows, from the article there are many who oppose it through comments and me too, the fact is generally that it is anonymized and there are many more "whales" anonymous users and investors through the crypto community who can reverse the situation at any time.

True, no one knows when the bear will be over. But I am sure there will be something in the future that will answer our question. And that can be good or vice versa. Bears can be turned into bulls or bears will continue to appear. That is the risk we must bear in mind.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: February 07, 2019, 01:52:23 PM
I don't know if this year has bring alot of luck to you?  It seems everything about cryptocurrencies is stagnated because of the continuously downfalls in pricing and I do believe that the only sector that is benefiting from the advent of cryptocurrencies is gambling industries . This year how much have you made so far in gambling?

Unfortunately, I never counted how much money I used in gambling and how much total loss / win I got. However, I could pass 2018 without leaving a bad trace in my finances caused by gambling. That is a good achievement for me. At the very least, gambling doesn't destroy me in 2018 and hopefully it will always be so for the following years.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I lost 30,000 on superbowl. on: February 07, 2019, 04:49:13 AM
It's not much? Maybe for you it's not much but for a lot of people it is a huge amount mate. Feeling sad that you have lost such a big amount. Anyway, I do not think it is wise decision to bet such a huge amount on a single bet.

The amount of a single bet may differ from person to person and if we compared it with most gamblers here, $30k is a very huge amount of money. I myself if have the chance to have it, for sure will not risk it at a single bet. $30k can cover my needs for more than a year btw! OP must be a rich person then, that is why he said $30k isn't much.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your destiny is in your hands on: February 06, 2019, 04:40:25 PM
Our destiny is not written on an imaginary surface and not in wind. What we are today in the crypto space is as a result of the works of our hands.
- Whenever you want to invest or promote a project, do not be in haste, but take your time to analyze it.
- If you want to sell the coin you have, do ensure you think about it many times, so that you will not later blame yourself for selling.
- Get materials to study whatever you do not know.
Nobody can make a better decision for you than yourself. So learn to do the right thing at the right time.
I agree with your opinion. we must be smart in all aspects, learn and keep learning. so that we know all about crypto about what we will get so that we don't get it wrong and regret it later. Being an investor or bounty hunter must be smart, don't just be tempted by money

There is no perfect person in this world and even the smartest people make mistakes both in the past and in the future, especially if we talk about the future of cryptocurrency prices. For me, as long as we can still get a profit, whatever the amount, I will receive it with pleasure and if the price soars after I made the sell order, that is not my fortune and I will not regret it too much.
