ETH since it is still in stage 1.

Not sure how to invest in it. Do I understand correctly I just need to send BTC to the address given on the website?
Yes that's correct

Quote
How will I get my tokens after launch?
When the tokens are to be released, You'll be asked to log into a facility on the HEAT web site and make another (pre-paid by us) small transaction from the same cryptocurrency account you used to invest. This transaction will authorize you for the HEAT tokens that are transferred to your initial HEAT wallet which is created client side (securely without anyone else getting access to your private key) on the fly during the same process.

Thus you need to just ensure you have access to the same BTC account at the distribution time and you're covered to get the tokens.

If that sounds complex, please contact us privately for other arrangements.

With which currency it is currently most profitable to invest with?

Invested. Looking forward to seeing this grow.

I do think that you guys should advertise this ICO more. Maybe some Reddit ads? Those worked wonders for Lisk Wink

Do you have a subreddit yet? You should also consider buying a few ads on Reddit to attract more investors Wink

What are the current stages? ETH still in stage 1? How many BTC have you collected so far?

Open a support ticket at support.lisk.io

hello, I am a little worried but not too worried as I think you Lisk guys may be able to help? I have a problem. I sent 285.50420823 Lisk from Bittrex to my Lisk.io wallet account just about 10 mins ago. Bittrex said completed successfully. Then my Lisk.io wallet showed the transaction on the Lisk Dashboard, I thought GREAT!.... After waiting for about 1 min for the transfer to be added to the Lisk balance I already had there, the transfer vanished and now the new transfer balance was not added? where did it go? can someone help me? has this happened to anyone else? Thanks in advance!

This is the Bittrex info

Also, about the trust thing on the side...my bitcointalk account seems to be compromised and someone is adding links to my profile.
I need to change my password, remove the links they added and if it continues I will report this to a moderator and have them nuke this bitcointalk account if I cannot
resolve it myself..I think this happened about a week ago, but didn't realize the things they did until today.

826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 14, 2016, 08:13:37 AM
No. At the moment it is just affected by the fact that the platform is still in beta and needs to be developed further to facilitate serious app development.

As for the comparison between ETH and Lisk, Lisk actually has the fixes for all the problems that ETH is facing. Invest in Lisk now, forget about it for about 6-9 months and get a x5 or more ROI and send me some Lisk for the great advice that I just gave you Wink

Hi, I don't know much about Lisk but wondering if it might be affected by similar problems as eth / dao ?
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 14, 2016, 08:10:35 AM
Correct. Until the legal entity is formed the funds are in escrow.

Is it true that the escrowed funds wasn't touched until now?

Can I send the bitcoin from a Mycelium wallet?
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 13, 2016, 12:11:31 PM
They should use the ICO funds for development. One pump doesn't do much, but a $1M bounty for building apps gets attention first because of the large amount and second because of the developed apps... What will make Lisk a unicorn are not fake pumps but successful apps on a highly developed platform. If you don't want to wait for that to materialize then move on to another pump and dump coin.

Thank you for the update! Many people are getting impatient because they are getting jealous with the pump of Steem. Cheesy They are all asking what is the latest news and why there is no pump in Lisk. Maybe the think you should use the ICO funds to pump LSK. Cheesy

I agree, you should use the funds to pump it since you kinda lost your excitement on this ,and decided to take things slow in development.

Did it happen in one day? Of course it didn't... You just know about it for one day probably. Steemit has been working on it for a year already...

They "did it" with 700k daily volume on 1 exchange... If you can short it anywhere, do it next week or as soon as there are new exchanges added. This is going to plummet like a meteor sooner or later.

No worries, Lisk will get there as well, just more gradually. I give it 9 months until we pass the $100M marketcap mark.

>dat steemit

damnm why is not lisk doing the same  Huh Kiss

It's understandable that most of you just want to ride the pump and then sell for a profit. But what is essential here is the true growth of Lisk. But if you're here waiting for the pump, keep holding. It will come I assure you.

dat steemit though, 3rd place , puts every altcoin, ico, into shame, they did it
well what can you do, better luck next time

6-9 months for something that took steemit 1 day ? Huh
that's a lot don't you think ?

I wouldn't know because I have never made a chargeback before...

I already have a couple of trades here on this forum as you can see and you can't do a chargeback with Paypal balance...

You'll be lucky get get anyone willing to sell you that kind of amount via PayPal. As is constantly said in this area of the forum, PayPal can be charged back so scamming is common place unfortunately. Usually people only deal with trusted members via PayPal. Seeing as you havent got a trust score yet it's highly unlikely anyone will come along and trade.

Good luck though  Wink Cheesy

Are you serious ?
You can charge any kind of paypal transaction upto 180 days

838  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Initializing bitcoin engine taking 2 days, is that normal? on: July 01, 2016, 12:16:27 PM
Thanks!

I suppose it's because armory needs to sync the blockchain... Altough Carlton Banks has a good point: if you're doing a fresh install, why not use the latest version?

https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinBeginners/comments/365wjm/how_long_should_it_take_to_sync_up_armory/
A year ago, some people reported syncing durations of a couple of days to a full week. Since then, the blockchain has grown significantly, and the new version of bitcoin core is supposedly only a little bit faster.

In the end it's a combination of your internet speed, processor power, disk speed and memory... It can take hours to days... Impossible to predict

I downloaded the latest version from the Bitcoin Armory website... So there are more version after that one? What is the difference between the new version and the one I am installing now? Thanks!

839  Bitcoin / Armory / Initializing bitcoin engine taking 2 days, is that normal? on: July 01, 2016, 12:00:10 PM
Hi all,

I am setting up Armory on a VPS and it says that it will take 2 days just initialize the bitcoin engine... Is that normal? Is there a way to speed this up? I have armory version 0.93.3. I installed bitcoin core but I didn't run it because the Armory tutorial says that you should run Armory and let it set everything up...

So is this normal or should this go faster?

Thanks

Ah well, looks like I missed the initial price and will have to dump them a bit cheaper... At least Lisk is cheap so I will get a good amount of them for my Waves. Good luck to everyone!
