821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: November 26, 2020, 10:17:26 AM
Just use other altcoin man. Current fee is really mad that it doesn't make sense for people to make some small transaction. ETH ugprade is still long way to go aswell so if you really need to make transaction the best course of action is just switching over.

Current fee only viable for people who moves huge amount of money. The small fries got their transaction taxed by the high fee and left with half of the amount it's insane.
The upgrade should start in 5 days, the Phase 0. Transaction fee on exchanges is fixed and somehow with some exchanges, most of this high transaction is from ethereum wallets and decentralized exchanges, so you can use other altcoins there. I can easily sell my ethereum to Tron on exchange and transfer to save money then buy back on another exchange. Sometimes if one delays this transaction for few hours it gets low, so if it is not immediate delay or rather keep some on exchanges
822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NOMINEX - cheating hunters by delaying payment for THREE years on: November 26, 2020, 10:07:30 AM
There should be no explanation or excuse for not fulfilling the terms of agreement. For whatever reason you changed the process of operation you should bear the consequence. Bounty manager should learn to limit distribution to 3 months, anything above that has always been fraud. 3 years is a long time, I can promise that we will be in the bear market by then and you can be off this market, anything can happen in the bear and you know. Honour the term of agreement or the hunters should drag their name in the mud in the media, I will never open an account with Nominex because of this, Never.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 23, 2020, 02:56:40 PM
I want to believe Ethereum has a lot of factors to stay relevant in this market for a long time, he got the competitors that cant beat him from the top 2 at the moment, my only challenge is the infinity number of coin to mine. After this market cycle few new coins will role to support a big part of the space, holding large amount of money all through the bear market and survive it. It will produce a strong community and attract new insights and traders. It will be the focus to lead the market with Ethereum and bitcoin.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major differences between Bitcoin rally 2017 and 2020 on: November 23, 2020, 02:37:57 PM
As already discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5290012 - 2020 rally is much more stable and standing stable for much more days comparing to 2017. Because, on 2017 we had bitcoin above trading above 10K only for 29 days, less than a month. during the 2017 bitcoin pump was partly happened because of the new investors investing on bitcoin but on 2020 there are many positive fundamental news related to bitcoin such as grayscale and paypal. This will stabilize the price on long period of the time.
The strategy will be a little different with the size of money require to push the price to 100k+. They are creating scarcity with the inclusion of institution in purchase of bitcoin, also mopping up of the mined bitcoin as it comes out. Whales are holding over 80% of bitcoin and other altcoins are adopting staking for price increase. I expect a early parabolic market and will catch people unaware but there chances for slight difference. Everything is even in place earlier than in 2017
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Emporium.Finance CEFI - 8 Weeks ~$88,800 (tradeable) up for grabs! on: November 20, 2020, 03:18:42 PM
When is the distribution of reward?
826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be Trade at $318,000 by End of 2021? on: November 19, 2020, 07:32:27 AM
NOthing is impossible with the height of price in 2021 but conservative prediction will help to take profit at a good price. A larger percentage of traders did not expect the 20k ATH in 2017 and when it came they were surprised and expecting more. Most of the top prediction are from beneficiaries of 2017, they know what bitcoin can do. This time we dont have the ICO that can raise $300 million dollar from a project. ATM startup are still struggling to raise fund and old coins are not getting back to the ATH. Narrative is changing and 5x-10x from $20k is only the possibility of most conservative mind
827  Other / Archival / Re: 6 Most Popular Criticisms Of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 08:23:33 AM
Rumour always have an element of truth, very little with the aim of misleading the audience. None of the criticism is new and bitcoin through all this till it achieve the present price and adoption.

5. Bitcoin is not backed by anything.
This is what Warren Buffet used to say, He doesnt understand how the coin is value and he refused understand what the new economic brings. It is not in their old economics from Benjamin Graham
828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance of reading the profile. on: November 16, 2020, 06:36:29 AM
I always put higher rank members with higher trust tag ahead of anyone even if I tried doing business in this forum. I have never been scam doing, however, this not advisable every time. No member of the forum has the same name here, he might not be as careful and thorough before doing such business, I may not understand how he mistook the person behind the scam
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Reinforced by the pandemic on: November 16, 2020, 06:23:07 AM
Bitcoin is already valuable, strong and trusted digital currency even before the pandemic. Real and wise investors will always confident in bitcoin because bitcoin has already a foundation and at the time of dump, investors will surely take it as a good chance to buy because they know it will rise again at the right time.

thats my take here. even before pandemic, bitcoin is already doing good and those who truly believe the capability of btc knows that it has a strong future. however, this pandemic  further strengthen its use case in the market. those noncrypto users start to understand the benefits it may bring to their portfolio.
as people were stuck in their homes, a lot of people came to know crypto or btc and search what it is. some are looking for alternative payment method or just looking for investments.
some people of course are hesitant when it comes to dealing with crypto, but i guess when paypal announced about the integration of crypto in their system, this add more confidence to noncrypto users that crypto is not indeed a fraud.
some sold big part of the portfolio in March to keep fiat for unforeseen situation the pandemic might bring, Lets say people get to know about cryptocurrency and its benefits due to the pandemic and lockdown,  but how are people able to invest in the space with the decline in the world economy, loss of jobs and business?
830  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Pakistan has started work on legalizing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: November 15, 2020, 07:18:31 PM
If any country should show interest in bitcoin now is due to their personal interest, the regulation will come with processes of tax collection or imposed fee from fiat-cryptocurrency exchange. It is a good time to allow cryptocurrency in a country, when the bull market is still far away and countrymen can put some fund to reap generational wealth. Money from cryptocrrency can flow into economy and diversification of fund from cryptocurrency can improve lives of many forever.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Reinforced by the pandemic on: November 15, 2020, 02:03:09 PM
Starting with the title heading, the pandemic did not reinforced via the pandemic, at the pandemic start I was not sure if bitcoin will come good, especially when the oil price dropped significantly, but Bitcoin did well during the pandemic.

Investors that are confident in crypto-coin because of price, get fooled, and long term losers, many coin has fake high price, investors should be confident in Bitcoin by now, and that is not for it price, -it can fall to its ATL and wise investors would be confident and can get the more-
Some topics/thread are just raised for the fun of it, no premises to deliberate, no new information not even a notion to generate an argument. Now you are building the argument correctly. Most traders are not in a good frame of mind to predict an early come back for cryptocurrency in that market, so I dont know how anyone will come out and say this now. We might say the condition is better but the economic situation in the world at the moment does not put the atmosphere for cryptocurrency to thrive at all.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum User Spends $9,500 in Fees Sending Just $120 on: November 15, 2020, 01:42:40 PM
This isn't the first time that mistakes like this occurs in crypto space, I'm sure that the pool can do the right thing and refund the user, though I'm still confused about how the user managed to make such mistake, I've made such mistake on samourai wallet before, I don't know how that wallet was build, I tried sending 100$ and I had 110$ in the wallet and instead 10$ was sent using 100$ as the fee, since that time I ran away from samourai wallet
the frequency of this error should put it a matter of urgency for all platforms involves. There should be an automatic fee calculation base on the size of transacting token like on MEW but If anyone desire a high fee he can add that himself. The loss is enormous and should be reduced, we need a level of safety. This can happen to anyone, we cant be in a the same frame of mind every time
833  Other / Serious discussion / Re: 10 habits to maintain good health on: November 14, 2020, 07:09:19 PM
The summary of the 10 habits is on
1what we eat
2 monitoring our daily activities
3 preventing infection through washing of hands
we might need to adjust on it base on our environment ( rural and urban dwellers). Rural dwellers are likely to keep to all the advice but very difficult to urban dweller, however, we both need the health to stay alive.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal finally allowed BTC on: November 14, 2020, 06:58:14 PM
They dont offer to buy but just sell, so where do they get all the bitcoins to sell?
My other concern is what happens in the bear market?
will they offer the same service at the same limit for everyone, purchase will decline then like ever but will they still be in the market or close shop like others.
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $100K-288K before Dec2021 ? on: November 12, 2020, 07:43:26 PM
5 years ago people dont really believe most of the prediction with 10x-20x even in 4 years but now we can predict more than the 20x in just 12 months time. This time we are expecting 20x in $150k add-up, what a ridiculous achievement it will be, all by just waiting patiently. The market is bigger now, more traders, exchanges, Institutional investors and more coins. These will bring huge fund when the FOMO starts, We will have the Bitcoin rally before the alt season, I hope.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 11, 2020, 04:51:34 PM
New projects have many risks, this is why I don't recommend you to invest in new projects, if you join in new project you must analyze first,
if you are lucky then you will managed to find a good project like Polkadot, there are indeed some successful new projects,
this project is very successful and has become one of the best new projects.
DYOR, more than 20% of coins from top 100 on coinmarketcap had been replaced with new in 18 months.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 11, 2020, 04:47:46 PM
I used to hold 5 of those coins in the list but fortunately I sold early, ' holding ' term is an advice not meant for altcoin especially, even if the project shows prospect on long term sell off at the peak of the altseason and buy again in the bear market. The choice on purchase will depend on the relevance and development of such project at the time. Those projects are not likely to reach the ATH again cause they have lost the supporters, whales, community and some even their exchanges with trading pairs.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 11, 2020, 07:10:34 AM
New projects are likely to give more profit in this market, some will be ridiculously high in a short while. It will be very smart to get in early and get out at the right time but scam will increase with the hype from different ideas. Influencers are staying away from most project unlike in 2016 to avoid Jail, which indicate caution from different angle. I expect most new project to come from existing project but with different teams to hide their faces and exploit the new market. We might a different approach to our research. Old project in new project does not matter as long as they are real and will get one profit
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 countries have more than 50% of BTC exchange traffic on: November 11, 2020, 06:57:50 AM
All the US and Singapore users could be binance to make up the 50% volume...

If Switzerland wanted bitcoin they could buy it they're wealthy? Not to mention that Germany has more nodes than the US when I last checked too (Germany have the most identified nodes by location but there are quite a few that aren't given a location).
Germany has always been underrated for wealth because of the conservative lifestyle of the wealthy but their investment strategy has been smart. The small countries in the list e.g Singapore, Switzerland still surprises me, they are also affiliated to retail investors. They got the money anyway and cryptocurrency is top of their investment. Unless we realize that bitcoin will always increase in price even Governments could be late to exploit the financial technology.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: November 10, 2020, 09:33:40 AM
The election results has been announced for the favour of Joe Biden who is the candidate of Democratic party that pulled 285 vote to defeat his incumbent Donald Trump who pulled 214 vote. Donald Trump still in white house waiting for the favour of court to declare him winner. It will hard Trump to win the case in court because US citizens really vote massively to Joe Biden to become their president.
Joe Biden will still will this court suit file by Trump claiming the election was not free and fair in November 3.
Have you seen his Trump's instagram handle? it is fueling a lot of news that can generate populace protest and reaction. people say no evidence but I dont know what to think with numerous posts, I dont even know when all the video are put together after the election. Conspiracy theories are difficult to avoid and believe, is this really happening in the US?
