8321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Nigerian" PM's in this forum? on: February 01, 2013, 02:20:04 PM
Nope, guess he didn't think I was worth it since I don't really have any money Tongue
8322  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hypersexuality on: February 01, 2013, 02:14:47 PM
lol in that case you know what I'm on about Tongue but yeah from what I've seen I honestly believe that most cases of mental disorder etc. goes away over time depending on how the person is feeling and their temperament etc. though I'm no doctor either. I can give a great example though, I have a serious problem with teeth grinding at the moment ( got a nightguard now and everything they work fantastic ) and my dentist told me there has actually been studies that people grind their teeth at night etc. when they're going through stressful times and then it eases off and stops altogether as things improve in their lives.

I'm gonna stop now because I feel a rant coming on with all the bullshit conclusions about mental health that's been happening lately Tongue
8323  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hypersexuality on: February 01, 2013, 01:27:08 PM
lolz I looked up the definition of mania.

http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/mania

Maybe I'm just very sexual then because it doesn't switch off very often Tongue but honestly with times being what they are, don't be surprised if a lot of people my age or below exhibit bipolar signs etc. we're getting seriously fucked over by older people who just want to pay for everything by dumping it on us and then dying off, I take that rather personally, plus it sucks not being able to even get the most basic of basic jobs to earn a little extra cash for yourself.

There are 'signs' and then there is actually being psychotic.
8324  Other / Meta / Re: Upcoming downtime on: February 01, 2013, 12:51:02 PM
Seems to be working quite quickly now compared to before, definite improvement in speed, nice one.
8325  Economy / Economics / Re: How banks works on: February 01, 2013, 12:38:35 PM
That's epic and exactly what they do Cheesy
8326  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hypersexuality on: February 01, 2013, 12:36:39 PM
This kind of thing is just nonsensical bullshit stereotypes from people in denial of the real world, I'm certainly what you'd call hyper-sexual but I'm not dumb enough to get involved with another man's woman or anything like that but equally I know girls who are more horny and perverted than I am, they're just far better at hiding it and I suppose if there's any difference then that's it. People are going to believe the innocent looking wide eyed girl who'd break down into tears over being accused of anything over the guy who just shrugs and doesn't give a damn what people think.

Cheesy That's my take on it anyway Tongue
8327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tax-free coins on: February 01, 2013, 11:28:46 AM
Taxes are theft, and as such you have my blessing, to cheat as you file your tax claims. Wink

Unless you want to be a TRUE Libertarian, and suck every dollar possible out of this government by applying to every federal and state aid possible. Food stamps, housing allowances, aid for paying your electriciy bill, a free phone, go crazy!

How could a society run with zero tax? By donation, including donating violence?

I love this argument, no taxes always mean violence and dead people on the street while completely ignoring how many wars are funded through public spending Tongue
8328  Other / Meta / Re: Stats about who reads what ? on: February 01, 2013, 12:20:25 AM
I'm not a nosy bugger so no, not really Tongue if I want to know where someone is from I'll just ask them.
8329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another libertarian wants to start their own country. This time in Detroit. on: January 31, 2013, 10:27:07 PM
build a space station, it will be cheaper in the long run Tongue
8330  Other / Meta / Re: Stats about who reads what ? on: January 31, 2013, 02:48:17 PM
While I don't really care what people see me view on this forum I don't really see the purpose of it, it's a bit like trying to get people to pay to enter the site, yeah, it might seem a good idea, but it doesn't add very much to the forum and may just in fact drive people away unnecessarily.

I don't really see what there is to gain from it, aside from people who might want to data farm like facebook of course, who gives a crap if companies like banks are looking in on us?
8331  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 50btc mining on: January 31, 2013, 01:38:38 PM
50btc is definitely a nice site and pool I think, it wasn't as frustrating to deal with for me as other websites because they had laid everything out sensibly.
8332  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin become too expensive to spend? on: January 31, 2013, 01:33:10 PM
You have to just wrap your head around the idea of inflation and look at how much things are 'really' worth, if you're worried about spending Bitcoins then come up with more ways to get Bitcoin and make consistent profit. For instance, with me, I'm looking at stuff now that would normally be dramatically expensive to get like cars and houses but I've done the math and I find it amazing that I'll actually be able to own a full house for around 5000 Bitcoins ( If we're talking just pounds I would have to work my whole life to be able to pay for a house and own it ) which a couple of years ago would be unimaginable because of the amount of inflation in the pound.

If you feel uncomfortable spending, find a way to increase what you already have and save, or perhaps do a spending threshold and say you'll only allow yourself to spend until you've got a certain amount of Bitcoins left.
8333  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck bitcoin and bitcointalk forum TROLOLOLOL on: January 31, 2013, 01:31:49 PM
LOL John don't do that! You evil mod! Tongue
8334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck bitcoin and bitcointalk forum TROLOLOLOL on: January 31, 2013, 01:25:13 PM
I hope this is a troll ( I'm going by the trolololol on the title Tongue ) because I don't really see how much of this is true, there are basically about five or six morons I've seen on this board who try to spam everyone but the ignore function takes care of that wonderfully unlike a lot of other places that I've been on, everyone else is actually pretty pleasant, even the people who have opinions I seriously disagree with which is rare on the internet lol.
8335  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MSNBC Video Edit on: January 31, 2013, 09:18:51 AM
Nice to see this in writing and not video anymore but it still makes me angry and I'm British lol Tongue Gun control doesn't prevent deaths, what's increased over here is knife crime.

Yep, plenty of bias to go around, they give the people who are for gun control a voice but people who are against it have to yell it out and look crazy on camera to get noticed.
8336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The real false flag..... while you are worried about the second amendment on: January 31, 2013, 08:56:23 AM
Why do you Americans keep whining about Guns when explosives are far more effective in their destructive capacity? Smiley

Cheaper too!
8337  Other / Off-topic / Re: lets convince mars-one to accept bitcoins on: January 30, 2013, 05:34:26 PM

Stop harassing every single organizations about bitcoin.   I'm pretty sure it's totally counter-productive.

It is pretty dumb but they don't listen to me lol Tongue

FUCK all bethsada recent games (the engine is fucking horrific)

LOL I won't argue with you there, the engine made by Bethesda really is horrific and to top it off they actually went and said "Yes, we'll bring in Obsidian to make our next Fallout game" it's a shame though because Bethesda are actually one of the few games developers that make fun games.

Yeah, I'm with you, a lot of the new gamers worship stupid bullshit like COD and BF3 because they have nothing better to play, eventually though, eventually, something way more amazing will come out and then the big companies will go bankrupt... I hope lol Tongue
8339  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How Government would regulate bitcoin. on: January 30, 2013, 02:21:55 PM
It would be a lot like Bittorrent I imagine, there would be lots of threats and takedowns but in the end nothing will really be done about it because it would be too expensive and piss off too many people.
8340  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Frontier Space Manga, Digital Goods, Coming soon Jewellery! on: January 30, 2013, 01:34:51 PM
Here's the silver I'll be working with for the first ring or two, does anyone want to make an order for a specific ring size at all? If not I'll be making them fairly small so that I can sell them fairly small, I've also provided an invoice from the place I get the silver from so you know it's genuine, my own teacher gets her materials from this company as well.

Let me know if you're interested! Otherwise I'll assume you're not and just make a couple rings randomly and put them up.

If you don't know anything about ring sizes here's a chart to help: http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/ulysses/ring_size_chart_1.jpg

Edit: Just did some real math and realised I'd only be able to make one with this amount, at least I know for next time now lol Tongue will be sure to get my hands on some more silver when I can afford it, it may also be better do an amulet or something perhaps than a ring.
