841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: October 03, 2017, 01:57:05 PM
FYI, lot of buys going on with signatum on yobit at the moment... guess someone thinks the price is right to start buying it up, check for yourself.

It's trading at -21.7? Or $0.023803, down $0.01 from where it was yesterday. More BS.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: October 03, 2017, 01:54:15 PM
Why was this coin added to the Bittrex? Capitalization is less than the signatum  Huh https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/neo/#markets

ROFL - NEO capitalization is less than SIGT? Are you smoking crack? NEO is #8 on CryptoMarketCap, with a market cap of $1,617,190,000 . SIGT is #333 (and dropping rapidly), with a market cap of $2,570,151

NEO has a sister coin on the same network. GAS. GAS is #24, with a market cap of $248,678,621

Stop spouting BS and check your facts.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: October 03, 2017, 03:10:30 AM
This is not a hard-fork of Bitcoin, that's coming on the 25th. This just seems like an opportunist trying to launch a BS coin with no tech behind it, other than an Ethereum token that anyone can setup and distribute via air drops.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: October 03, 2017, 02:49:07 AM
Proof of Stake is a joke. 8000 coins 5 days staking, nothing. Time went from 3 days to 7, increasing every day, instead of going down.

Sig PoS=Sig Proof of Shitcoin

Sold a couple of days ago, thankfully before it dropped even more.

Buy this coin is you like. Unless you hold 100k Sig PoS is pointless.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: October 02, 2017, 02:32:41 AM
Anger and frustrations aside, the more I look at the facts, the more credible the so called fudders appear.

Sigt Proof of Stake  is Proof of Shite. Network weight never changes, expected time to next reward increases every day, making it constantly out of reach for anyone with less than tens of thousands. PoS should deliver proportionately, not selectively.
Just wait. With every day your coins gets bigger PoS weight. So, if you have just few thousand of coins, you should wait. Whales gets theirs rewards earlier. But the system is fair enough.

NOOOO once again, my personal stake weight is NOT increasing as each day passes... Mine has stayed exactly the same each day. Never increasing. Days to earn reward, never decreasing, not like it does with other coins or how its supposed to work. Staking is broken with SIGT. And yes, at least part of what you are saying is accurate. The more coins you have the earlier you get your rewards but the staking is BROKEN for SIGT

Not really correct,
In my wallet it's on 14 hours but i received 3 times in past 8 hours staking rewards
The old coin you have gets more rewards than last bought, wait more 1-2 days and it will give you what you supposed to get...

Somehow I find that hard to believe. I have (had) 8k, self mined coins, and staked PoS from day one. Supported the network for over 2 months with 99.9% uptime. Network weight never changed, time went up, not down.

So I sold.

Keep chasing the rainbow.

This coin is going to rebound big time IMO.  It's simple supply and demand.  POS has cut off the supply of this coin, and demand should remain relatively unchanged.  This is one of two privacy coins out there that I know of.  One has to think that one of the two coins will survive over the long term.  Sure, there is definitely a lot of risk involved with this coin but I know I would feel really stupid looking back in a year if I sold this coin now when the value is so low.  I'm holding mine.  It's all house money for me anyways, I mined a bunch of these coins in the beginning.

One of two privacy coins out there? ROFL  Shocked

Every "Shitcoin" callers, please sell all your coins now, We are continuing to buy on yobit every amount of signatum with technical price and strategy bellow 1000sat.
If you think it is shitcoin so sell it to us, we are there, We don't want to pump, but we need to buy some m. Coins, so help us,

I mined this coin for two and a half months, racking up a good few thousand. Phase 1, great. Great network connectivity, easy mining...happy days.

Switch to PoS (phase 2) brought out the underlying issues... Namely that the PoS is skewed to the rich list.

Every other PoS wallet I hold shows weight increasing overtime, and anticipated reward times decreasing. This isn't happening. I started with 3 days, which increased to 4 the next, then to 5, 6 and now 7.

So, place your money here if you like. This isn't emotional, I'm not taking sides on the merits of this coin, but there are far more established coins paying 5% daily. Do the math and place your own bets.

I'm out. Sold. Enjoy my transaction fees.

people,
it does not matter if you "solve" a block every day or once every week, as long as your coins are staking you accumulate interest. You will get small amounts many times in the first case and big amount fewer times in the latter.

Are you solving blocks by yourself in the PoS model, or getting a share of the generated blocks? If the former, then waiting a few days would make sense, but that's not how other PoS QT wallets I use seem to work.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: September 28, 2017, 08:20:35 PM
Hey guys. Not knowing that it would be an issue I've been transferring some EHT from my Poloniex (exchange) wallet. Is my investment lost? What is the best way to get my POWR tokens ? Thanks in advance!

You might have a problem here. I think it's best to try to contact Poloniex and Power Ledger to see if you can work it out. Good luck

Agreed. I'd setup a local wallet (Geth & Mist) and see if Poloniex can extract your account and provide you the private key.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 28, 2017, 08:17:39 PM
its just not worth it to stake this coin unless you have 100,000 plus.. im now at 7 days with around 10k.. and its rising.....rising..started at a few hours... o well.. time to sell

why didn't you sell earlier? why did you wait for POS if you knew there was no point. you have 10k. which is 1/13500000. Doesn't look like you would be the most important person on the list. It is 5% per annum. does it make a difference to get small portion of coin in 5 or 10 days?

Estimated reward time has gone up from 3 to 4 to 5 days. Waiting to see what the return will be, but I can get rewards every 3 hours on POT with 10% of what I have on Sig, so not looking so good in comparison thus far.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: September 28, 2017, 12:19:15 AM
If I sent ether from exodus wallet to get power tokens how do I get them afterwards

You need to set a watcher for the POWR token: https://etherscan.io/token/0x595832f8fc6bf59c85c527fec3740a1b7a361269

Not sure whether Exodus wallet supports tokens, but Mist does.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 28, 2017, 12:17:18 AM
Hi,
I'm familiar with cryptocurrencies for few years, hovewer finally now I decided to make an account on bitcointalk (better late than never).

Until now I've never used offline wallet - only blockchain or exchanges for making shorts and longs. I've a considerable amount of SIGT on... cryptopia and decided to withdraw it to offline wallet cause I don't trust Yobit (bittrex, c'mon!).

I've few questions:
1. I downloaded wallet but it won't sync. I added signatum.conf file and added nodes (+sigt.suprnova.cc node) and restarted it several times. All the time I've 0-1 connections to network.

2. As I see I got new adress automatically generated, but I added new, second one. How can I remove it without removing wallet.dat?
3. How much space does entire core(transactions history) take on my disk?

Thanks in advance nad let's hope to the moon Smiley

PS. My antivirus is disabled. Kaspersky definitely doesn't like signatum wallet, gives false positive and block it at every possible (and impossible) way. Even I added it few tiems to exceptions. Not it's disabled completely. Do you had similar problem with it?

How long have you tried to keep the wallet open for? Adding the nodes did the trick for me. Others have had to reinstall the QT wallet for it to work (ALWAYS back up your wallet if you do that just to be safe - also make multiple copes of it on USB drives if you can).

If you created the addresses in the wallet I would not be concerned, that is alright really. They all lead to your wallet anyways.

Last question I cannot answer, I haven't even checked mine, I have 10 TB so I am not so worried Smiley

I've had my wallet running for a month and a half, with a few breaks of a few hours here and there. For the most part I average 40 to 50 peer connections, while mining and running several other wallets.

Also, word to the wise, never use Kaspersky, unless you like Russian spyware.

Why we don't see the POS blocks in the block explorer yet?

http://explorer.signatum.download/index.php?0618fa97cf8d102fe65cedd68c6b63c7c41416f93b71c8ceb0e68c1037966d65

just mining rewards, but no POS rewards...

Prob. complete PoS starts after block 100,000or mabe i'm wrong!!

. PoW/PoS after block 98500
. Last PoW Block: 100,000
. Pure PoS after block 100,000

Correct, it's hybrid through to block 100k

On the one hand - honestly. On the other hand, it seems to me that you do not have enough capacity to implement your project. I think everyone here would like to build the house of his dreams. But, why should you invest in your dream? And what in return?

I think the name "house of tomorrow" can sound a bit dreamy. The house is actually a lot simpler than you think. To break the house down from process to materials

1. the house will be made of extremely durable steel reinforced concrete
2. we are using double pane low-e windows and superinsulation to maintain a constant temperature without the need for HVAC
3. we are following the guidelines of the passivhaus standards - which are guidelines for creating the most energy efficient home
4. we are adding fixtures that are water efficient (toilet, sinks, showers)
5. the technology will be non-intrusive but up to date through out the house
6. there will be seasonal trees provide shade in the summer and fresh air throughout the year
7. we are still tightening the design, so we will most likely be adding a few new proofs that we discover as the process goes on
8. we have multiple architecture firms in Los Angeles ready to work with us to make this a reality

Are you guys attending/presenting at any of the LA Blockchain meetups?

Sounds like a good idea, but the $4.5mm cap to build tech infrastructure and physical property seems very low to me given the cost of land and resources in LA.

I really don't get all the name calling and insults directed at cryptopia, they are an exchange, and they did simple maintenance. Yet when this coin seems to have broke with that work done it's all somehow that cryptopia is "jealous" or trying to hurt the coin for some unknown reason. Then when someone tries to explain what they are seeing, it's all childish name calling and "cryptopia fanboi" as if it's terrible to say anything bad at this coin. What I don't get is how anyone could be defending this coin like it's so great or whatever with old and outdated code from years ago and a github that seems to show little to no work done by this "dev" I don't know the whole story here as either it's people getting butthurt and nerd raging about this coin having problems, or it's either people are worried and acting childish with the name calling and blame game that it's anyone or anything else's fault this is happening cause they are losing money, OR it all coming from just 1 guy with many accounts with too big an ego to allow anyone to call this coin less then "perfect".

In any case, seeing what I saw on youtube with this dev constantly using curse words to describe stuff and also the name calling in this thread when evidence is provided, I can safely say I'm glad I did my own due diligence and got out of this coin before the basic implosion that is going on.

to anyone willing to listen, if you lost money on this coin, then just take the loss like a man and move on, find a better project to deal with next time.

People like the idea behind this coin, and while it's not something exceptional or especially radical, it has as much credibility/or lack thereof, as most of the non-top 20 coins. The lack of ICO and pre-mine, with a rapid switch to PoS is quite attractive if given a chance to unfold - and given the age of this project, it seems fairly mature compared to some that have been around much longer.

As far as Cryptopia goes, do a little digging and you’ll see it’s not just Signatum that they’re f’ing up on, as powergecko just pointed out. People are justifiably angry.

With any crypto, don't invest more than you can afford to lose. If it moons great, if it flops, you've lost your beer money.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: September 19, 2017, 08:03:06 PM
I sent 2 ETH and got a confirmation, but when I go to the site to check my tokens, it tells me that I'm using an incorrect ETH# or email addy. What gives? Is this just another ICO scam?

So...found what looks to be the POWR token info https://etherscan.io/token/0x595832f8fc6bf59c85c527fec3740a1b7a361269 and it looks like no transactions have happened in 40 days, and...one person holds 83% of the token. This may be the primary account from which the rest will be disbursed, but it does seem a little fishy to see an account an amount that's supposedly impossible with the whale clause.

PowerLedger admins, please explain.
