I can't see them walking away hopefully some more dev's join the team and keep pushing it forward but even at this rate imagine what it will look like this time next year..big things in the future this could be the bitcoin killer in my opinion, it has all the right ingredients to be most importantly a devoted and capable dev team with a vision, they know what they want to build and they know how to do it, and for once like satoshi money is not the motive only to empower the masses this is rhyno's vision.

It might be a good sign, the fact that he has taken so long that is, If the SDC code and system was your normal copy paste crap the audit would of been done in a week or a few days, maybe he really likes it and it has sparked his interest so he is really pulling it apart to examine the mechanics closer, this audit may be all SDC needs in advertising if the audit is really as good as i believe it will be, it just doesn't make sense it would take so long if the code wasn't special or unique in some way, i think there is really good news around the corner. |

You have some good points as i said it was just an idea, and i know nothing about coding and how hard it would be, it does need to be addressed and I think voting with our SDC is not really enough, We need to make it clear that we do not tolerate that sort of stuff, i have no problem with drugs, but yeah... there has to be a way to do it, but anyways thanks for the response and the link i will check it out  |

I had an idea for SBay obviously because it's decentralized no one has any control of what is put on it, but maybe it could have like in bct.org an ignore button on vendors and items and if that item or vendor was ignored enough say like 1000 wallets then the item or vendors listing would be automatically removed by the system, that way if someone was trying to sell assassinations, or guns, or child abuse material the community could quickly vote to remove it by just clicking the ignore button, is this possible to do?
Censorship = liability child porn on SBay= instant death of SDC..so it's got to be worked out these things can not be allowed on there, so there has to be a way. Without a charitable organization running the administrative side, it will be a free market. Though I hate the idea of CP... if there is censorship implemented but something makes it through, then the censoring administrator would be liable in some way. However, it could work similar to Reddit and Digg where you get upvotes for exposure. Censorship requires centralization, which also comes with liability for the centralized entity. I don't think the devs would want to be that entity. I think the devs must be very careful however to stay out of trouble. This marketplace should be designed with the intent of it being used for legal items. There is no criminal intent here. For example, if they created it with pre-made categories of things like Drugs, Heroin, Cocaine, Marijuana, etc, then that would show criminal intent. I don't think they would ever do that, as Sbay is being designed for a marketplace of legal items and services. Of course there will always be some that abuse the system. With any new tool and technology you must take the good with the bad. I don't think abuse of the system will be that big, however there are sure to be some rare cases. If there are I don't really think it will damage SDC's reputation. There are such things on some Bitcoin dark markets, yet Bitcoin still seems to thrive and persevere. The internet is a tool that is abused by some rare people as well. Yet it is overwhelmingly a positive technology for humanity. I think Sbay can be thought of in a similar respect. how is having a voting system to De-list unethical material centralizing it, sorry it's a legitimate question not being smart, it would still be decentralized but the users would have the option of voting for things they didn't want to see on there, my idea was each item would have a option to down vote, ignore or report etc there would be a certain number of times it would have to be down voted, reported, ignored etc, say between 100-1000 when that number was reached it would be removed automatically by the system, it's not centralizing it it's adding a voting system, so if some sicko tries to sell a bunch of kiddy porn we as a community can decide if we want to see that there, no centralization what so ever, still decentralized but with a community controlled voting system, Im sure maybe this isn't the best option? but it has to be done we can not allow that sort of shit to be pushed on our market, it's an idea, would love to hear others ideas, this is the sort of thing that should be being discussed not price speculation and crap like that, this is the stuff that's important, and the dev team might be able to take one of our ideas that they had not thought of yet and make it work. |

No, but in this instance it is. Nobody gives a shit about Shadowcash. If you do, you don't know very much about how this whole "cryptocurrency investment" thing works. SMH.. you must not know anything about "investments" in cryptocurrency to be making statements like that. I was one of the earliest DRK investors and am a huge supporter of the SDC efforts. Why? Because I support all legitimate privacy projects that have solid tech behind them and I'm not the only early DRK investor here either. If "nobody gave a shit about SDC" why would Evan of reached out to acquire the project? While you are correct that DRK is an older coin and one of the main reasons it has the market cap it does is because it was a first mover in the anon vertical outside of the failed Stablecoin before it. First mover advantage only lasts so long, eventually when this particular vertical becomes the attention of a wider audience the best tech will gain the larger spotlight, not the first mover. Unlike Bitcoin or other variants not focused on privacy, the main focal point in the anon vertical is the level of anonymity a project provides the end user and this one reason why the tech is so important not the name. Both projects are originals for their own solution and that is what gives their name market strength. The only thing SDC suffers from right now is a lack of media attention, which results in the project reaching a wider base outside of BCT. But all that is changing. Forbes news just tweeted about SDC today and they have 1.75 million followers. I wouldn't be surprised to see larger articles circulate soon. Regardless though, you've made your point that you aren't interested in technology innovations, just brand names so you're really not even someone who would be interested in using the coin outside of exchanging it for BTC. I had an idea for shadow today i don't know if it's possible or possibly stupid it's just an idea, but i think it would be a really cool feature and really add a +1 to SDC's already impressive list of firsts, I'm sure everybody here knows about 2fa like cryptsy and a lot of other sites use for logins, well what im thinking of is a shadow app like authy but for the SDC wallet passphrase instead of having a long complicated password to put in everytime you want to send a transaction the app would generate a random number just like authy, or you could have both and make it extra extra secure, not everyone would be into it so im sure it would be better to make it just an option in the wallet but like i said just an idea BTW the giveaway is going well about 50% done if anybody has any friends who may be interested in SDC send them over here https://ocupy.net/hubs/ion/62-100-shadowcash-giveaway?start=6 only 5 per person but that is because im trying to reach as many people as possible less dump-age also more to be given away after this one is finished |
