I'm glad we started to discuss BlackCoin and maybe together we brainstorm some actions which start pulling the HVC price up. I am already afraid to open Mintpal to see how the HVC price dropped again. I was so happy I purchased a bag of HVC couple a days ago at 3600 having an order waiting couple of days. Smiley Now I wanna cry. What is actually Keccak working on currently? Seems not very active on this blog. I saw now on BlackCoin chat how lively that community is comparing to HVC one.

Are you guys watching what's happenning with BlackCoin right now? Can we expect such hype to happen to HVC anytime soon? I start to feel HVC is not that unique as we all try to believe.

Anybody encountered this error when mining with CCMINER35.EXE? It keeps crashing after couple of hours on EVGA GTX 750Ti

Faulting application name: ccminer35.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x53336296
Faulting module name: MSVCR100.dll, version: 10.0.30319.1, time stamp: 0x4ba220dc
Exception code: 0x40000015
Fault offset: 0x00000000000760d9

Can anybody (maybe best would be Christian Buchner) advice what are most stable Nvidia Geforce drivers to work with CCMINER35.EXE? I use the latest ones 335.23 with a card EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti 1176Mhz. The card was working fine and stable from beginning. Then I started to overclock it with PrecisionX utility and it also kept running stable for 24 hours. Then suddenly it started to crash and I always had to restart whole PC because when I restarted just CCMiner after it crashed, it ran only at low speeds like 5Mh. Normally 750Ti runs at 12-13Mh. So I started to decrease GPU clock offset in PrecisionX and CCMiner just kept crashing after couple of hours. I tried 32-bit and 64-bit version, always the same result. Now I resetted GPU clock back to default (1176 Mhz) and it again crashed after cca 12 hours. I'm using Windows7 64-bit Enterprise.

Any ideas what is causing those crashes? Too new Nvidia driver or some bug in CCMiner? I'm connecting to 1gh using VIP password, could be this a problem? Maybe GTX 750Ti with 12-13Mh is just too slow for HIGH DIFF, but I don't believe this would cause CCMiner to crash. Can maybe Logmein installed on the computer cause the Nvidia driver to crash?

But keep digging. In the mean time I'll be dumping 3-4 BTC of HVC into Mintpal each week, selling at going rate, but it always pushes it down, and then soon I'll stop, and by then the coin will be worth zero.

Replace "HVC" with "BTC" and pull time back 3y. And yes - I can compare this two coins, since algo of HVC is unique as BTC algo was that days. And btw. Wellcome to my ignore list  Wink

Thank you for dumping HVC to Mintpal at good price. I keep buying those and holding like crazy BOSS!!

Just ordered this little cheap monster http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3753-KR, I can't wait to see the results. Smiley I think I'm gonna put my Radeons on sale then. Smiley  I think soon Nvidia's will be out of stock everywhere soon. Smiley

your cheap monster is a 750 (no Ti), having just 80% of the Ti's compute power.

Dear Christian, can you please advice what is the max hashrate you can get for Nvidia Maxwell GTX750Ti. I have installed this card:

EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked (http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3753-KR)

Part Number: 02G-P4-3753-KR

    1176MHz Base Clock
    1255MHz Boost Clock
    2048MB GDDR5 Memory
    5400MHz Memory Clock
    86.4GB/s Memory Bandwidth

And I'm getting following results after cca 12 hours of running ccminer35.exe, version 0.5 from 2014-03-27:

[2014-03-30 11:07:54] accepted: 356/392 (90.82%), 12404 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-30 11:08:25] thread 0: 391516571 hashes, 12399 khash/s
[2014-03-30 11:08:25] accepted: 357/393 (90.84%), 12399 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-30 11:08:43] thread 0: 215400092 hashes, 12404 khash/s
[2014-03-30 11:08:43] accepted: 358/394 (90.86%), 12404 khash/s (yay!!!)

Can I squeeze some more megahashes? How? I tried to use the PrecisionX tool to overclock but it seems the card is overclocking automatically. This card has base clock 1176Mhz but PrecisionX dashboard is actually showing cca 1306Mhz gpu clock so it seems the Boost clock activates automatically in case some application is demanding some more power.

I'm asking this because in some thread somebody mentioned that it's possible to get something over 13Mh/s from this Nvidia chip.

BTW: r u working on some newer faster version optimized for 750ti? Smiley When can we have it?

@Reorder: are you working on next version of CGMiner now? :-) When can we expect it? I hope not somewhen in the middle of night (EU timezone). Last time when I woke up, the 2014-03-27 version was already 6 hours out. :-) Would be good to publish at some more convenient time when EU,US and ASIA are not sleeping so that all miners have more or less the same chances to download it at the same time. (well, if you tell me release time, I will set-up a buzzer.  Grin )

Can someone advice what is the fastest and cheapest way to buy bitcoin with CreditCard? I tried SEPA payment via Payeer.com -> BTC-e, but it took cca 1 week to receive the payment on Payeer.com, then it was matter of seconds to transfer payment from Payeer.com to Btc-e.

the hash is increased, but the temp and consumption too

I think it's quite clear. Honestly I was wondering why the temperatures were so low on HVC mining. Obviously the potential of the card has not been squeezed to it's maximum like Scrypt hashing. I still believe there is some potential in optimizing CGMiner. Once the R9 GPU's start hitting 80-90 degrees like for Scrypt it could be a sign that we are reaching the ceiling of R9's capabilities.

Mintpal : there is a motherfucker who's playing dirty wall games

WTF is going on with HVC. Some stupid impatient dumpers dumping like insane? Why the hack I always have to buy hell lot of coins one second before the coin starts dropping heavily and it doesn't stop from falling down at least a week? Smiley

same, but a single 750ti can do 13M and they cost 1/2 of 280x and much less energy required

That's good to know. I think I am gonna buy 750ti. Smiley what brand you have? Do you know how much you can get with the higher models 770, 780?

i don't have any at the moment, i just read the report of another guy

while today 750ti are good, i think it is better to wait for the top maxwell for density

So what will be the top Maxwell Nvidia's? Is 750Ti the first pioneer card with Maxwell technology?  I am actually buying this to my home weak computer with 350W PSU which I normally used for paper work but I decided to squeeze some hashrate also from that piece of sh.t using AMD R7 260x which is giving me currently 5,75Mh/s Smiley It's small midi case so I wouldn't fit in it any longer monster card. GTX 570 - 10.1 Mh/s  Shocked
280x REV2 - 9.6 Mh/s  Roll Eyes

hmmm..this is mine  Shocked:

R280X:  55.0C 2043RPM | 11.42M/11.51Mh/s
R290:    64.0C    55%    | 15.27M/15.28Mh/s

What is your .conf of 280x?

I used this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=506774.msg5923071#msg5923071 and I get exactly the same results. Overclocking of the card also necessary to get those results (--gpu-engine)

Happy to announce http://altoutlet.com/hvc now accepts Heavycoin!

Just over 8k products available, including some community designed shirts, various consumer gadgets and electronics..

And free international shipping on all orders... Also a percentage of all sales goes to a charity of your choice, selectable on checkout.

Are we the first merchant to accept Heavycoin, perhaps? Smiley Can we claim one of the merchant bounties

Any questions/queries, let me know, feedback is always appreciated Smiley

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!! HVC will not go to the moon, it will just start on the Moon and fly from there to other galaxy!!!! I't quite unbelievable that some merchant with physical goods believes in HVC so much just couple of weeks after launch of the coin. BTW, the prices in that Outlet are recalculated automatically based on daily exchange rate HVC/BTC/USD?
