841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Facebook’s Libra Coin be a Game Changer in Crypto Ecosystem on: June 19, 2019, 03:31:25 PM
the one thing i know this coin will surely do to crypto space is exposure, the very million users of facebook with little or no knowledge of blockchain or crypto will be expose to it which is a good thing, am just really looking forward to the lunch of this coin, history is about to be made Cool
i can't wait to hear from my non crypto friends and colleagues when the coin has been lunch and the news is all over the internet Grin
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: June 18, 2019, 09:58:20 AM
it is not easy to watch your investment go so low and not be able to do anything about it, it is in situation like this that most noobs will freak and sell at loss, if you don't sell you have not loss anything, keep hodling till you can recover your initial investment back.
843  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Character limits on: June 17, 2019, 12:06:00 PM
If it is, the next step might be disabling signature campaigns which pay their participants in altcoins or tokens (not Bitcoin). After all, the last step might be disabling all signature campaign, but I guess we might not see such action in coming months. I saw post quality changed positively, and forum users tend to be more constructive. For spammers, they already get perma-bans or nukes, and will be get such punishments more.
I am still waiting for activation of reporter badges, that are another motivation to eliminate bad posters.

if that is going to take effect, rest assured that both the btc paying campaigns and the non btc paying campaigns will all be eliminated, there is no need leaving one side and eliminate the other Roll Eyes
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your destiny is in your hands on: June 17, 2019, 11:49:49 AM
Experience they say is the best teacher, if you haven't make mistake in life then you can not grow, mistakes is part of living and the most important aspect of it is learning from our mistakes,
it is good to observe, research and inquire before taking any decision both in crypto space or outside of it, but no matter how hard we try, we can't be too careful enough, so it is a matter of being prepared for whatever will be the outcome of your decision, both in trading or investing in a project you believe will do well, you can only try your best but can never be 100% accurate or right.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is the crypto bull run June 2019 on: June 17, 2019, 11:35:55 AM
Very interesting time for bitcoin but I am not sure I have seen bitcoin cross 10k except it happened on certain exchanges, it is still battling to cross the $9300 resistance. I would love that alts join soon, but so far alts have been very slow

Yeah, it seems this party is only for btc at the moment, so far only btc has been experiencing an increase in price while alts are still very calm, only few alts has increase in price, until when the whole market started moving in upward trend with occasional correction alongside it doesn't really seem like the bulls are fully back, maybe just getting ready to hit the market.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is the crypto bull run June 2019 on: June 16, 2019, 02:36:25 PM
Am not a TA but from my little observation in the market i would say the bulls are warming up to be back in the market, but one thing i have come to understand in crypto is that you can't be too sure of anything, one news from any where good trigger mixed feelings, this space is full of surprises, you just have to be mentally ready for what comes out,
btc looks fired up since yesterday hitting 9k+ in no time, maybe next target is 10k, june certainly looks like a good month for btc.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Begins to Be Used in the Football Industry on: June 15, 2019, 07:34:53 AM
Football industry is a multi-million dollar industry and integrating btc as form of payment would be great in crypto industry. This might give a certain impact to btc price. And all crypto users will benefit from it. I can't wait to see such development in crypto in general.
Don't get too excited, moreso just going to be an advertisement banner for some shitcoin with less people knowing btc is accepted.

I don't get why you keep going on about shit coin this or that, it is both shit and non shit coin that make up the crypto ecosystem and am sure the shit and non shit can coexist in some ways,
People just go about shouting adoption yet they have no clue how the adoption will come about,
What i see is an opportunity for more exposure, wether through shit coin or not bottom line remains to gain exposure and adoption, rest is irrelevant.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Verification of identity compulsory on transactions over $1000 on: June 15, 2019, 07:16:48 AM
Exchange like Bitmart already made it compulsory to do kyc before withdraw any amount from the exchange unlike other exchange that allow unverified accounts to withdraw around 2btc,
only that if you are making a deposit to Bitmart wether verified or not they don't have a problem with it but to withdraw you will be ask to do kyc first even though the amount is less,
At least now everyone will be aware of what is required to transact, now people can only limit theirself to some exchange, you can't afford to do kyc in all exchange you have account with Undecided
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IEO: Where should I buy? on: June 12, 2019, 02:46:55 PM
Binance, Binance, Binance is even fed up.
Other exchanges are mentioned here. There is more benefit in this than the constant repetition of the praises to Binance. As on other exchanges there is a real opportunity to take a direct part in the IEO.
I would add Kucoin. They intend to stay in business for a long time, so they are unlikely to have dirty projects.

Please what are you saying? Can you point any other exchange that has given such huge profit as what all project lunched on binance lunchpad has given of late? No you can't right! So you really do not have any choice than to hear this words ovet and over again,

If you wanna make 10x of your investment in an IEO, then better get yourself eligible to participate in the upcoming binance lunchpad, there is a huge hype surrounding binance and it's market, you should know that by now,

This is what the crypto community want so don't try to act like you don't want the same, go see other IEO who couldn't make even 1x profit are being cursed out by the investors Grin instead of given investors profit, they are selling below IEO price, talking about ico's in disguise Wink
850  Other / Meta / Re: BAN APPEAL: Assuming my fault and looking for a solution on: June 11, 2019, 08:05:43 AM
If you believe the reason for your ban is unjust you have the right to appeal. But I would advice you to be honest about it. If there were situations, even back in 2017, when you copy/pasted even just a sentence or two, admit it. If you got banned for plagiarism, the admins already know about it.
If you are a valuable member of the community you could get a lighter sentence like a signature ban.

right now i was banned and that is all info I got. Could happen that I copy pasted something years ago? May be. HOnestly, i really cant remember.. But in any scenario was trying to be some kind of parasite that monetize it or get any benefit, as trying to seem an erudite. I have discussing this matter with dozens of users from the forum.. All of us agree that this probably gone too far. Suddenly 400 of accounts get banned daily?¿ I have seen people being banned for few words copy pasted,.. which I think in many cases a permanent ban was far toooo much. And i lost not hours, but days or maybe weeks looking at messages, adresses, usernames, urls.. to find many scammers, which are still on forum? really ? scammers and cheaters are allowed to be here and we don't have a second chance? All of us do mistakes, but at least some of us will do it only one time because we learn from it, without this kind of hard punishment.. 3 days out, and I really miss the forum.
On the other side.. i have seen the list of ban-appeals.. just ONE from all of them, was unbanned.. he was accused of plagiarism, but it happened before he bought his account? Nothing personal with him.. but really? this is how  justice works here? If an account is bought, the account farming is being promoted. Appart that it would mean ban evasion, I would NEVER buy an account ! no way i will ever give a cent to this disnohest actors.

You have really hit the nail on the head with the above underlined words, i mean who are we fooling? Many people are been scammed in this forum everyday without nothing is done,
Lots of scam project openly making announcement in this forum without them be banned,

But good members of the forum who have put some years in this place contributing to the cousre of this forum in which ever little way they can will be permaban for just a slight mistake (even just visiting this forum alone and actually login is a contribution becos there are forums out there that don't have real human visitors), plagiarism is bad we know but still people make mistakes, nobody is perfect,
Even those who kill someone are often times given a second chance in life, why is this place different?

And please we shouldn't pretend like we are not all here for the same reason, that will be a very fat lie, because when you take away all things relating to income in this forum be it sig campaigns, buying and selling, rendering services and any other means that generate money in this forum, there won't be a handful left here, all those who are claiming they are only here to talk about btc will be the first to leave,

I don't know why it is very easy to banish people in this forum without given a chance to correct their mistakes and redeem theirself, this rules can be adjusted, i hope the right authority will have a reconsideration.
851  Other / Meta / Re: Giving out merit to people you know, acceptable or not? on: June 09, 2019, 05:37:26 AM
Am not surprised, anyone who find that post worthy enough to give 13 merit is clearly showing favouritism, no matter how hard anyone try to defend it that post is not worthy of such amount of merit, how can you tell there is no personal sentiment attach it?
Most of the rules in here only applies to some certain class of people while the other class can do as they please Undecided
Well, am not also surprised on someone whose crying 'bout my posts getting Merited. You might cry even harder for I'm a Source now. Tongue

Just to tell you one thing, chewing shits aren't my thing, though I just spit on them and try to cover them with sand and throw them somewhere else. So the other's won't being seeing shits as I did.

And as an additional, FYI, even if you dig a whole lot of evidence, you really can't prove what alts you're saying that I have probably used. By the fact that I also don't know who's that user and getting vanished after a day.

It's been a while since you've posted here pajeet, have you gotten full of trash on your main account?

@CryptopreneurBrainboss Thanks for tagging me here, and for giving such clear detailed info as always. But still I don't think such pajeets will try to understand that. Just hoping that they will 😁

Edit 1: Hey Pajeet, don't waste finding my alts. I will just show it all to you. And the accounts that is somehow connected to me as for it is owned by my relatives.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2544574.msg49561523#msg49561523

Just a little Message for you if you're about to see it:
"Read till your eyes bleed"

(Pardon me, @suchmoon for using your phrase)

Yelp i wanted to prove a point (to myself atleast Grin) that this merit system is full of favouritism and i just did, your other meaningless and senseless post don't mean anything to me Tongue.
Merit given in this forum is not base on anything else but favoritism

Bye Cool
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TEM] Temtum - Ultra lightweight, quantum secure decentralised network. on: June 08, 2019, 06:43:27 PM
I want to believe the OP is member of the project team and this will be an advantage to the thread for concise answers and regular update. Have seen a lot of high rank member interested in the project but have not seen any spreadsheet ratings. I am still worried about IEO and dont know if the year will end on a good prospect with IEO. The project seem to be building a large community at the moment on telegram but dont know how efficient it could be

So in essence, you are only waiting for the confirmation of an IEO before you can consider joining the campaign Grin  you are most certainly a smart hunter Wink, nobody wants to work like that without a guarantee of getting paid, if you have visited the telegram chat as you said,
i hope you took time out of your busy hunting schedule to read the wp and most especially watch all the videos posted about the founder and ceo Rechard Dennis
I think the one he talked about is journey in crypto can give you an understanding of the kind of person behind this project,

This is not your everyday CEO that have zero knowledge about the project they spearhead but only rely on the help of the dev team,
You should be able to know how to spot a good project when you see one but since the crypto space is full of scams and fake project, people now find it difficult to Know what is legit or scam,

Temtum could be your next be project, all you need to do is open your eyes and see beyond Grin
853  Other / Meta / Re: BAN APPEAL: Assuming my fault and looking for a solution on: June 08, 2019, 04:29:46 PM

This is called anecdote. But to the point.. from 610 words, you just highlighted nothing about the purpose of the post. thanks for your constructive comment.

Unfortunately you will always find people like him who will do nothing but piss you off with their bitterness, pay less attention to irrelevant trash talk,

I feel for you having your account banned, i remember you from wpp campaign how you worked hard to weed out cheaters in the bounty,
I hope you can get a second chance for your contribution in the community.
Good luck.
854  Other / Meta / Re: Giving out merit to people you know, acceptable or not? on: June 08, 2019, 03:57:29 PM
Can someone tell me why this meaningless, uneducative shit post could attract so much sMerit than some really good post i have seen in this forum which have only manage to receive not higher than 2 sMerit ?
You may see it as a shit post but those who merited it probably agrees to what the poster is saying (or at least the poster said what they wanted to say).

That "merit worthy" is subjective imo. There are no specific standards. What's unworthy to me might be worthy for you or vice versa. We can use the post you are referring to as an example.

To the OP, I do not see any issue meriting someone I know as long as I find the post useful/informative to me or to others.

855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 📒⭐👑 Jinbi Token ~ ‘The Golden ICO’ - Merging Gold With Blockchain 👑⭐📒 on: June 07, 2019, 01:14:20 PM
The ship has sunk now. Total volume is approx. $200 and on livecoin people are buying less than 1 JNB which is horrible. I also think they asked KYC so that they could sell it and hence now people have stopped buying the token on exchanges.

Lol! with such ridiculous volume only 1 member of the hunters will dump and the entire volume will be destroyed Grin, this explains why the team are feeling so reluctant to distribute bounty reward especially if they intend to pay with jinbi tokens, that will be a huge mistake,
best bet will be to execute the buy back and pay hunters with eth or btc, i.e if they are actually ready to pay and not deceiving hunters Cheesy

A good example of a failed project probably as a result of mismanagement  Undecided
856  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to know Feb 7 was the optimal buy point 2019. on: June 07, 2019, 01:05:18 PM
Hey guys,

I have published my data and complete analysis here on my site:

https://www.amsinger.org/open-research

This is the true reason bitcoin didn't go below the $3370 point. It had gone below 4 of the 5 price floors, but it did not go through the true price floor. This is why it is called the TRUE price floor. The price went to $4160 16 days later.

If you had access to this data, you would have seen that an investment in bitcoin at this time had virtually no risk. Understanding risk is the cornerstone of investing. That is why it is called investing and not gambling.

If you are curious to see how you can get use price floors in your trading and understand your risk, check out my sample analysis page:

https://www.amsinger.org/sample-analysis

The current fundamentals to BTC , BCH, ETH, and LTC are available.

Trading without knowing the fundamentals and risk is like flying without an altimeter. Don't be a fool, know your risk.

Aaron

P.S. The current price of bitcoin has a very different price floor and risk level than Feb 7. It is good to know where the true floor is. Currently I am short, but I know EXACTLY where I am long. I am trying to educate people on what is actually happening, and hopefully stabilize the crypto markets. Please let me know what you think!

So let me ask you this, did you just realize that $3370 was btc price floor now that it has risen to 7k+ or you already new this since february 7 and you didn't made your post then? because i see your publication is very recent,
And again you already know where this current price floor is judging from your post but i don't see you mentioning it here so that when the time comes we can make reference to your earlier post to compare if is right or wrong Grin
thanks for taking your time to educate us Wink
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: June 07, 2019, 12:23:35 PM
This topic sounds just too ridiculous to me, but hey, you never know with humans, they are full of surprise i tell you Grin i won't be surprise to see some people already see Mr Satoshi as a being worthy of worship, lol! people are so easily manipulated just like btc or those who hodls shit load of btc can manipulate the market to suit their personal interest,

Why would any sane person want to see btc as a religion? i mean if there are actually such people around, what do they do? buy some btc and put it in their wallet and then print out the details in a sheet of white paper, place it in a corner of their room or wherever and sing some praise song? Grin  Ridiculous!

@OP hope you are not getting any funny ideas because that is a waste of time and very ridiculous act Grin btc is meant to be traded not to be taken as a religion Lips sealed

just my 50cent Cheesy

858  Other / Meta / Re: Giving out merit to people you know, acceptable or not? on: June 07, 2019, 10:20:29 AM
Now i laugh so hard to see all the big accounts in here given an example of what a post may look like to attract sMerit, at least @op was sensible enough not to give a huge lump of sMerit to his friend unlike the below senseless post that was given a whooping 13 sMerit for shit posting,

Can someone tell me why this meaningless, uneducative shit post could attract so much sMerit than some really good post i have seen in this forum which have only manage to receive not higher than 2 sMerit ? or is it because he made the post in the much hated Yobit thread that makes it okey?

This sMerit was given by a Legendary member, which am guessing is either an Alts account of his or just like OP a very good friend of his Tongue   This is a clear example of merit abuse,

In my few weeks of been in this forum, i think i have made some reasonable post than this account Grin but since i don't belong to any gang, never save the forum from sinking Grin or not a friend of any Big Guy here, i don't deserve to earn 13 sMerit for my post Tongue

@OP don't worry about your few post to your friend, compare to the above Santa, you are very considerate and reasonable, am sure the merit you gave was worth the post.

Here is an example of a good post but with just 2 sMerit:-

Here you can find post and tell me if it worth 13 sMerit - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5133670.msg50718411#msg50718411
859  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: April 22, 2019, 09:19:58 AM
This is more likely a discussion with spammers and endless shitposts, and I think it should be moved to altcoin discussion. This is going nowhere, the fact Yobit is not responding to scam accusations and concerns.

Applications are excluded in this thread as I can think of it. Just a mere spam of shitposters. Almost the majority of Yobit participants who replied here are more likely spammers and that's a fact.

Reported the Thread.

Also on my way on Reporting the posts of you spammers. Goodluck, I hope the efforts of spamming will not be rewarded. Hence, this will be an opportunity for you to leave the forum.

These philipinos and indoensians need to eat ,they dont give a fuck what they are advertising and long as they pull in some free satoshis.  These are the kind of fuckers that would advertise hardcore drugs or porn if they earned money for it.

Fuck off, asshole you don't even know what you're saying, I don't give a damn on who you are but you mess with filipinos you mess with me, you ugly faced knuckle head, learn to correct your speeling first before firing such non sense.

Do you even know how many filipinos have joined this campaign? It was even discussed on our local and foremost users are being warned before joining Yobit. Now shut the fuck up pig head, we are improving our fellowman's activity compared to what you're doing, all pure shits.

Excuse me forum leaders for my foul mouth but this guy is getting my nerves in pain, he's making me severely sick again!

Really? Do you need a Tfare to do so? just let me know so i can arrange for that ASAP, i know the bitcointalk forum human resource will be willing to approve some tp for your quest Undecided (or don't tell they have not ) Grin

And damn! how you manage to get to this level with all your senseless, broken and incomplete post you have been contributing to the almost filled data base of bitcointalk with 99% of it be "shit post" according to the majority here (not me)

Your post is toxic, should not be allowed in this "righteous" forum of ours, i mean have you read through your post? you still have the effrontery to call out other posters who obviously graduated from the same school of thought as you Shocked (pheww)

Try to fix the few highlights and seriously your post does not really convey any meaningful message for a normal human to comprehend ( but since MUA has super power i try to decode the info successfully)  Cool

Every bounty campaign has a thread where participant make report or do things like discuss which is happening here Roll Eyes (in case you haven't noticed) why do you feel this thread needs to be close and others left?

And what makes you think your post are not HOT SHIT as well Undecided
860  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: April 22, 2019, 08:54:13 AM
Funny this thread is filled with people wearing sigs pretending to care about the spam  Smiley

Trying to correct one wrong with another wrong Grin (By Mulann2)
Actually i don't see yobit campaign as a wrong, what is wrong is the attacks Shocked like this has never been seen before Shocked
But hey! Yobitooss Grin must be enjoying the spotlight, any kind of publicity is still a.......? (fill it)
Lol! this forum is full of D........s Lips sealed
