841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: February 06, 2019, 01:01:06 PM
But how about the surroundings? if you have a group of friends who regularly gambles it's not possible to be a gambler too.

If you have a strong belief that gambling isn't for you and you can maintain it for a very long time, then I don't think you will be affected by the habits of your friends. But usually, people who associate with gamblers will certainly become gamblers as well and eventually become addicts. There are many examples of people who are addicted to gambling just because they are following the trends of those around them.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY 60% OF CURRENT CRYPTO HOLDERS MIGHT NOT CATCH THE NEXT BULL RUN... on: February 06, 2019, 10:37:30 AM
Bitcoin, ethereum and some other cryptocurrencies  will hit all-time-high again. But up till now, there's no clear technical or fundamental indications that this will even in the next two years.

Technicely, the second half of 2019 would even be more boring than that of 2018. Markets will be slow, volatility will be slim... traders wouldn't make much at that period.

Which brings me to the topic - why 60% OF CURRENT CRYPTO HOLDERS MIGHT NOT CATCH THE NEXT BULL RUN

The answer to this question Is straight forward:
over 60% of cryptpholders are newbies...because market will be flat in it's low for over 11 months... this period of flat market movements is enough to burn those 60% out... particularly those who went all-in

WHAT CAN BE DONE TO AVOID THIS?

Well, the only thing that can be done to avoid this, is to prepare for a long boring market. Investing what you know you wouldn't need to touch for years. Have something that would sustain you, such that you don't go broke, hence having to tap into your crypto-portfolio.

Simply find a small job to do, while the market flattens out. Hold your portfolio at the bottom, and the markets will thank you at the top😎

Yes, to hold and leave it untouchable for years would be better option to pick! I mean don't look at our portfolio for years. Because some will panic or other needs will persuade us to sell our cryptos while the bull doesn't come yet. It's very difficult not to touch our coins if we keep remembering or watching over our portfolio regularly.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 06, 2019, 08:58:32 AM
When Liverpool will play against West Ham i thought they will widen the distance of points between them and Man City because for first match Liverpool can able to win 4 - 0 but i was clearly wrong that West Ham was playing good and this weekend i saw Man city will facing a tight schedule after met Arsenal then Chelsea will be their upcoming opponent

Man City will meet Everton in February, 7th and Chelsea on 10th. What a tough schedule! But Liverpool themselves have not been able to show their good performance recently, especially after wasting a good opportunity to expand the points when they meet Leicester City and West Ham United. I think this year's title race will remain interesting until the end of the competition.
844  Other / Archival / Re: What's your all time favorite cryptocoin? on: February 05, 2019, 05:31:33 PM
Up to now, what is your #1 favorite cryptocoin, and why?

If you have a hard time to choose just one, please feel free to post your top 3.

Personally, Bitcoin has always had and will always have a very special place for being the first to get me into the space.

On top of that I like and support several coins of which at the moment my favorite is Tezos (XTZ).

Bitcoin is the first crypto I've known and until now bitcoin remains number one in my portfolio. There are also some alts that I have but they aren't a priority in my investment. I might buy some alts but the amount will not exceed the nominal that I use in bitcoin.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: February 05, 2019, 04:27:43 PM
Online gambling has increased the number of crypto gamblers. Even those gamblers that didn't aware of crypto has to adopt it willingly so they can enjoy the perks of crypto gambling like...
  • low fees
  • quick transfers

Yes i think both gambling and crypto has helped each other grow more. At one side you can say that gamblers came to know about crypto but on the same time its the crypto users who started gambling after they had gather digital money.

For some gamblers, crypto and online gambling are ideal partners. Both can be complementary and mutually beneficial. Online gambling with crypto currencies will certainly give a big role in the continuity of crypto itself and crypto currencies provide convenience in many things to the gambling industry.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are prominent crypto enthusiast saying bitcoin will dip to $1000 ? on: February 05, 2019, 03:24:59 PM
In a situation like this, decline in price, of course there will be many people who make predictions based on the feelings they get. This can be caused by despair or other negative things. For me, ups and downs are normal. As a person who has been in the crypto world for some period of time, we must try to take advantage of every situations as good as possible for the continuity of our trading activities.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understand addiction! on: February 04, 2019, 06:40:00 PM
If you want quit addiction from something then you may need to change your life style and concentrate on long term pleasure like building your career or doing workouts and getting success in your business like that.
You can't quit addiction by just simply changing your life style..
We have to know the main source of addiction, and we need to cut that into our life.
In this sense, it's gambling so we simply stop gambling, and that's a hard thing to do when you are addicted.

After getting a crushing defeat and making life a mess, maybe addicts can be aware and begin to force themselves to stop their habits. Indeed, a way to break habits that already merge with our minds cannot be done instantly. Sometimes, help from other people is needed because many addicts aren't realize with the dangers that threaten them later. The concern of the closest people is needed to deal with acute level addicts.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: February 04, 2019, 02:49:52 PM
I’ve won dozens & dozens of bets in the 10-15 years I’ve been gambling. I don’t keep a record but I have to admit I probably am at massive losses if I added it all up - Wins vs Losses.

Gambling is just a hobby to me though, I play with amounts I can afford to lose.
I don't know if I really won or loss of all the gambling games I played if I will put my games together all and my wins and losses I don't know how much I win and loss, but the most important is, I know that when at the point of being addicted to gambling, I've learned to stop and move on, on all of my losses.

Well we win a lot in gambling and also lose a lot in gambling. So if you do not track that how much you invested in gambling , how much you won and how much amount you lose, it will become almost impossible to determine whether you Won or lose at the end of the day.
If you are serious in money management in gambling, you need to note down all your investments and your loses/ Win and then plan accordingly.

I am sure there will be very few gamblers who manage money like that. Maybe professionals will do it but not with most people. In gambling, many people use their feelings to react to things they meet. And if I can predict, the end result of most gamblers, in the long run, will definitely disappoint. As many people have said, it is better not to use gambling as a means to find the source of life.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Real Solution to Dumping on: February 04, 2019, 12:52:51 PM
Dump is something that cannot be avoided especially from bounty hunters. They only want to get money by participating in bounties and when there is a chance, they will definitely do it, at least most of them will dump their tokens. Dumps should not be a big problem if the team behind the project is quite honest and has good faith in their project which can be shown by hard work to keep their project alive and get great attention from the public.

So the solution is from the developer itself. It is they who determine the future of their project. Even though the dump happened but if the project goes according to plan and gets appreciation from the public, the price of the token will gradually rise again.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: February 03, 2019, 01:25:40 PM
If you only rely on 1 type of coin, I think that is a strategy that is not right. in the Crypto world the price of coins is very volatile. even though BTC is still the favorite coin and no.1, but to make profits from BTC is increasingly difficult. who would have thought if it used to cost> 13000 $ and now <4000 $. so does ETH. but I prefer ETH. even if you can, you invest in both is better

Choosing one or both of them, bitcoin and ethereum, will be fine I guess. The two coins are the most famous coins and certainly will get great attention from the public, if we compared both with the other coins, which means anything can happen in the fast way. Even a small news can affect the price movements. But the risk will also be high as well. Price increases and decreases can occur quickly.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in 2019? on: February 02, 2019, 06:02:25 PM
The year 2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto fans, especially those who have just tried Crypto and have not enjoyed the benefits/profit. I do not mean to be pessimistic / give up on the current conditions, but how if the market does not improve in 2019? what will you do with all the assets you have?  will you sell all? or Will you make it a treasure?  or will you will get out from Crypto? or any ?
if I, then I will try to survive, who knows because the market changes very quickly.
because I am a new person on Cryptocurrency and still want to keep learning in it  Cheesy

I feel very sorry for those who arrive late and get caught up in situations that require this extra-high patience. I myself, though not much, have benefited from crypto currency and of course I will continue to invest in it. Who knows, if in the future, I can maximize my profits!
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: February 02, 2019, 03:49:42 PM
We never know whether the bull will reappear again someday or not, just as people in 2014 never thought that the prices would rise drastically in 2017. Beliefs and patience would be tested. Keeping some coins at present time could give a good return in the future.
853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: February 02, 2019, 12:59:43 PM
We have to have a plan and keep following it as long as we can. A good trader should not be easily swayed by his feelings. Profit, sometimes, can not be achieved instantly. We have to wait patiently. The other important stuff is, keep abreast with the latest developments of the coins we hold. So, we can make a fast reaction if something happened, whether it is good or bad.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: February 02, 2019, 10:34:29 AM
The easiest way to get instant benefits from gambling is to risk large amounts of money at low odds like 1.1x or even smaller than that. This will work at least once or twice unless we are very unlucky. To be honest, there won't be the easiest, simple and risk-free way to profit from gambling. Luck, capital and bravity to take the risk will be required!
855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why many traders(including me) not getting success on: February 01, 2019, 02:27:06 PM
even though we see a lot of videos read books and know that if we do this, we will be profitable but at last we do same mistakes and lose what could be the reason
1) practice and experience
2) with fear of losing or missing profits we just f*** our trades
3) patients
4) or what other reasons could be?Huh?? please comment

The fear that assets will go down further is the reason why many traders tend to fail when they hold coins. Fear will also haunt someone to enter the market when there is an opportunity. Even though a person has good knowledge and experience, it cannot be a guarantee that he will become a strong trader who will be consistent with what he believes.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Token When Bounty Hunters Sell They Coins on: February 01, 2019, 12:02:47 PM
This time before the bounty hunters sell their coins from the ico project, the coin market has already been dumped first, the price is very cheap, because the market trend is currently down, now many bounty hunters hold the coins and maybe them will sell coins next year when the price jumps sharply, I have a coin from the bounty but I don't want to sell it guys

As time goes by, things have been changed a lot. At present, most of the rewards from the bounty program seem to be very cheap because the price of the token is far below the ICO price when it hits the exchange. I think most hunters will do the same thing as yours. Keep holding the token in its wallet and wait for the miracle to come.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: January 31, 2019, 05:39:52 PM
You can try to avoid mistakes, but never be afraid of making one and neither should you be afraid of failure.
The fear of what will happen might be a limitation.
Cryptocurrency sometimes can be very complex and funny, most especially when you find yourself in a situation you have never been exposed to.
When the market is all good, mistakes are not easily detected, but when the situation of the market seems to be on a negative side, then fear sets in and sometimes, we become afraid of what may likely happen if we take a step further, to do what we have never been exposed to.
Even if you eventually fail, it is a stepping stone to become become better and achieving greater success.

True, mistakes cannot be avoided. There is no perfect human in this world who will always predict the future correctly. For me, as long as we only use the money that we can accept no matter what the result will be, making mistakes won't be a big problem for us. But, even though we can afford to lose the money we use, we still have to make wise decisions in regards with our investments. Through experience we can sharpen our decisions, I hope!
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: January 31, 2019, 03:33:45 PM
Guys, sorry for bumpimg old tread, but has anyone tried http://bet888win.net/live-casino/ - it looks decent, but i'm still concerned about putting my money in every service since i've got scammed. I do believe in you and that Internet knows everything.
I don't know why you are trying that casino were you have lot of other options now a days. You can find legit casinos by spending few minutes in the gambling section of this forum and also check out the signature here too see who got more reputed.

Exactly you do not have to try every new site to check weather its legal or not. I just select 2 or 3 sites which are legit and have been there for many years.  I do not experiment on other sites as if you deposits money on any new gambling sites, it is always a risk that if they scam, they will not let you withdraw.

Yes, it would be better to use the sites that have been around for a long period of time. I use new sites, sometimes, just to catch the promotions their offer and try not to deposit my money into such new places. New casinos need to do a big promotion if they want to get interest from gamblers which will at least prevent the scammers to launch their sites.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: January 31, 2019, 11:20:39 AM
You represent the voice of the common investor.  As a contrarian investor, I am buying during opportunities like these.

Could be a good time to buy, time will tell.

Everything is still uncertain especially with regard to the prices. Will it rise dramatically again or will it decrease even deeper. Btw, the price of today can be said to be cheap and if we want to start investing, it could be today is the right time. But yes, like you said, let the time determine. Risk is indeed needed! I still have a good feeling with crypto currency.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 31, 2019, 07:13:55 AM
Liverpool failed to maximize their chances to distance points from Manchester City because they were only able to draw against Leicester City, while Chelsea have had poor results because they lost with a big score against AFC Bournemouth. The results of the match are of course uncomfortable for bettors.
