Lisk doesn't have smart contracts... So this has nothing to do with Lisk.

Lisk should be benefiting from the recent ETH/DAO turmoil; what gives?

LOL
LISK Kindergarten seems not to understand that DAO hack is impugning viability of all smart contract coins. LISK included.
LISK holders are losing value because of DAO hack.   Shocked  Grin

So is Waves on exchanges yet or no?

Even if they do it won't matter... Might just push the price a few k satoshis down but when the weak hands are gone then we will continue as usual. Going up Smiley
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: June 10, 2016, 09:51:13 AM
Just wait until Lisk hits a few more top ties exchanges and also some chinese exchanges. At the moment Polo is the only one and with one market the price is easily manipulated. A whale has been pushing the price down almost since the start but every time the bottom goes higher and higher so sooner or later they won't be able to move the market alone and then the organic growth will start.

That and developments of course... And from what I hear there will be many in the coming weeks and months. The first one should be the community meeting tomorrow.

Nice. 27 more people in the team would explode this rocket for sure but Lisk shouldn't get too many people at once... I would says 10-15 devs would be more then enough to start

Seems like LSK is about to make a major market move!

for sure. the 11th of june anticipation

Btw, a great video with one of the new guy core team for LISK Charles Hoskinson :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIMk-A7L8S4

Great video, but Charles is an advisor.

yes he has said until lisk doesnt get a core team together he wont be hired by them. charles as 27 man/woman team which will only be hired using funds if they have a core team a infrastructure and roadmap. once that is done they can hire him for now just advising this will take some time but long term looking good for lisk

Great news! I see VC money in the future of lisk Smiley

Lisk Adds Charles Hoskinson & Steven Nerayoff as Senior Advisors to Facilitate Product Development

Lisk, the blockchain application platform for decentralized services written in JavaScript, has announced the addition of IOHK CEO Charles Hoskinson, Boulder, Colorado, and serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist Steven Nerayoff, New York, as senior advisors according to Lisk CEO Max Kordek.

Read the full announcement on our blog

PS: Even though the news outlets already published the story, I just wanted to officially announce it here as well. I'm extremely happy about Steven and Charles, I'm looking forward to continue working together with them.

You can't vote without Lisk in your wallet because firstly it costs 1 lisk to vote anyway Cheesy

So any one can vote or must we hold Lisk . And how do we vote

You have to register an account through your wallet.

you can't vote if you hold  Lisk through an exchange

Must you hold lisk in said wallet or will you still be eligible to vote with a 0 balance?  Kiss

Lisk doesn't have smart contracts but blockchain apps which can have a GUI and are more flexible in my opinion...

what's the relationship with DAPP and Smart contract on lisk blockchain?  thank you !

Poloniex or Bittrex, I wouldn't use Yobit...

Guys which trading site is better to trade lisk.. looks like slow pumping in yobit i would like to trade to other trading sites..

We might even reach 80k today. Depends on BTC, Max's update and a few other factors Smiley In any case a good day for Lisk and finally going to where it belongs.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: June 01, 2016, 05:24:45 PM
Is this the waves thread? No, so take your surfboard and ride the wave to the other thread.

It seems that a Lisk whale is putting on sell pressure on Polo. I have been observing the whole day today. Anytime lisk starts to rise, the same sell orders pop up and get removed before they get fulfilled. It seems that someone wants to buy more cheap lisks before the news comes in Wink
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: June 01, 2016, 03:17:16 PM
Got my bounties, thanks Lisk!
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 31, 2016, 11:34:08 AM
Because all of the others were falling already when Lisk still held its ground... Now the others look to be going up considering the low values of yesterday.

How come LISK is the only (top volume) coin that has not risen within past 24hrs on poloniex?
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 31, 2016, 11:32:56 AM
They aren't Smiley

Why volume is decreasing each day?

Seems like there is just less attention for Lisk in general. Sell orders on Polo are at the ATH of 5.5m, while bid size decreased to only 1600 BTC now.
Profits are being taken, for new projects with potential higher returns (Waves, Rise).

Let's hope 60k will hold today, if not, there will be blood in the streets.

Ow really why would Rise and / or waves be better than Lisk ?
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 27, 2016, 06:16:44 PM
I think that it takes 3 full blocks. 3x 17 minutes.

When i try withdraw says account have no lisk, how to resolve?I have 10 lisk.

You need to transer 9.9 only. Because 0.1 should be left for fee
How long it will be on poloniex?ok i get ,303 confirmations.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 27, 2016, 11:31:44 AM
Did you use your ICO passphrases that they gave you? If yes then open a support ticket and I am sure someone will help you out shortly...

I know this is stupid, right but how do I get my Lisks now? I can't find to get my Lisk? This should have been clear in the OP. I logged into my Lisk account around 67 Lisk but I should have a loot more?

I used to be able to log in a see the amounts I invested and how many coins? Where is that now?
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 27, 2016, 10:30:21 AM
If DAO tokens pump tomorrow then I might really sell them all and make a buy wall for Lisk. Bigger upside for lisk then for DAO Wink

DAO trading launches Saturday!

https://twitter.com/Thiel_DU/status/736140248514715648

DAO sell and buy Lisk Grin

This: both totally different projects, both with a lot of promise and a bright future they can compliment each other.

fly Lisk fly

it may never fly if they keep dumping it with just few satoshis. if this keeps going until WAVES is out, lisk may be left behind forever.
i may even dump mine when if it stays below $0.50 still and would move to WAVES before they're out.

Who gives a shit?  U can buy ur waves if u like I don't Fucking care.

But then don't came here crying Smiley

Good luck to you Fudder

So many comparisons between LISK and WAVES, but they are both totally different projects, both with a lot of promise and a bright future they can compliment each other.
