841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: April 01, 2017, 10:38:45 PM
many people who like to gamble just for fun, and I'm sure they are people who have very much money. but, if I gamble, maybe I'll have fun too, but pay attention to the amount of bitcoin or money I had, and of course I aim to profit.

I do gamble for fun but I don't have a lot of money, then you might ask me, why can I gamble for fun but I dont have a lot of money, that is really easy. You can try their faucet, that easy you gamble for free without thinking about your bank roll or your own saving or money. I am also expecting to win some profit too, but I don't think that I can have such profit with that small amount capital, atleast I am having fun.

845  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: March 31, 2017, 05:19:15 AM

846  Other / Meta / Re: Coin mention stats on: March 31, 2017, 05:15:49 AM
I think you must reconsider the other meaning when you say, time, which is the abbreviation for the chronobank. You must just consider the word time when they are talking about it, and not when they usually talk like in the Off topic and Politics and Society, time has other meaning for that.

But all in all, it is really good, but I am just dissapointed that, senereo, or this amp, has greater mentions than litecoin and Ethereum.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: March 31, 2017, 04:55:00 AM
Japan is a really progressive country, I think they are the first country that declare these tona digital currency, other countries are just accepting them because many people are using it, but japan is on another level. Bitcoin will be more progressive after implementing this bill.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Since BU is emerging. on: March 31, 2017, 04:51:41 AM
What is this bitcoin unlimited anyways? Embarrassed
Is it a new alt coin or just something to scare people away from their btc and buy into those instead?
It seems pretty far fetched if you ask me.

Pretty much. It's a power grab.

If you want bigger blocks, write a fucking proper implementation. Why in the fuck would you make one that can't receive patches from upstream because you "moved around code" you don't understand. Why the fuck would you try reinvent the wheel just so you don't have to use stuff coded by the "blockstreamcore banking cartel". Why the fuck do you disable pretty much all safety/security features built into Core, because you can't figure out how it works. The story of BU would be a good plot for a comedy movie.

I dont think they are not trying to "reinvent" the wheel, more likely, they are trying to invent another wheel, which is somewhat connected to the other wheel, which is the original wheel. They are trying these fork to bitcoin because bitcoin is their passion and they almost put their money in these digital currency.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How today was my last btc transaction. on: March 30, 2017, 09:21:06 PM
These problem is the one reason why other economists suggest the Bitcoin Unlimited. They want to have fast confirmations so bitcoin users will never be converting to other altcoin, but just bitcoin. This is a problem that needs a solution quickly before the tower of users crumble down.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin progress in 2017 on: March 30, 2017, 09:16:46 PM
Bitcoin has been above four digits for the longest period ever.Localbitcoins trading volume have reached $32 millions per week. This may be due to chinese switching to localbitcoins due to strict regulations of PBOC.As per google statistics, bitcoin searches have increased in many countries this year, especially in africa and the baltic region.Bitcoin ATMs have reached around 1081 ATMs across 56 countries.US andf Europe share largest share of bitcoin ATMs.Bitcoin community is growing upwards with increase in bitcoin wallets, transactions, price and trading volumes.Bitcoin progress continues on and on.

Many governments of the world do not like this progress. Especially China. And they first began to panic and establish different rules.
But despite this bitcoin continues to exist.
If he survives a fork without loss, then he has nothing to fear

We people are more powerful than those government, we are the one that elect them si they must be worthy of that selection. And I think that the government will nover stop the people using bitcoin, especially when there are lots of people who are using it. And I think some of the governments are supporting bitcoin, they just need to it more.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 30, 2017, 11:33:54 AM
Yes because Im not that too adicted about gambling it is only for making fun for me or making time with my friends. It is just a game and I dont have make my self so adicted from it because it may cause some bad times or bad ideas about making relationship good to others.

That is really great, it is only an entertainment to me too but I dont really have many friends that gamble with me, I just gamble to make myself stress free and a last time, even I am assuming that I can get any profit drom it.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: March 30, 2017, 11:18:28 AM
I think the term " gambling for a living and living for gambling" is really great, is it only me?

By the way, I think my pick is not on the list, but I will still pick a living for gambling, not because I am a gambler, but I think I must use my money wisely rather taking risks on gambling, I will make investments for gambling sites. It is still a plan because I still don't have that enough money to satisfy me to invest on a gambling site.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: March 30, 2017, 11:11:23 AM
Gambling has its risks embedded in it and to those who rae into it including myself understand this risk and we ready to take it. Its like saying life itself is not worth it because you fail in some thing or several things the same way we see gambling. We lose some and we will win some depending on how luck is on our side or chance. No hard feelings.
I think to compare the gambling with our real life experience is not a perfect way to leave or realise that gambling is bad for us .
I myself in my life with bitcoin found that without gambling we can't make fun at online because Gambling is only the way to get Profit in double or loss all , so here it is just for fun and not for earning of benefit purpose .
We will realize about the loss after the gambling when we will.lost that I made earned by a strong hardwork .

I think it is really great, using metaphor to Gambling and real life will really make you understand how gambling can be a danger to one's life. And I think as a human, we faced a lot of gambles in our life, taking risks so we can be successful in some things like studying and working. And gambling using your money you get from your hardwork is really now worth it. Better use it for some useful bills in the future.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 30, 2017, 11:05:33 AM
If I hit a huge jackpot, like lottery or Keno, it would be really good for me. I'm going to spoil myself with material things if ever. But most of all, I would like to help my family with all the problems that can be solved by money or something. Bitcoin has helped me a lot.
I think if I did hit a huge jackpot prize, I will really spoil myself with things too like another gaming PC or a PSP. But first I think I will invest it on a good business matters, or start my own business, maybe a computer related business. Bitcoin also helped me a lot, it did not even dissapoint me and my investment.

I already done one of your wishlist. I remember when i won 2BTC on bitsler, I cash out it immediately and buy my ROG laptop without hesitation, my real plan is just buy mid range laptop and not a gaming laptop but since i won on gambling it is just my profit. I decided to buy precious so that i can treasure it.

I think that is really nice. I am not that kind of gambling guy, though I always hope that I am winning. I play dice games on Kingdice and primedice but I am just using their faucets so I can play. I can't really afford gambling using my own money because I am also afraid of losing them. I guess I can just stop assuming that I can win with these type of gambling.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you hold btc you get both btc and btu when it split? on: March 30, 2017, 09:04:44 AM

1) So if you hold 5 btc in your wallet, at a right withdrawing steps, you will end up with 5 btc + 5 btu , is this correct?

Yes, it will split into 5 BTU and 5 BTC, I don't know the mechanics when it comes to wallet or where to store the BTU but I think you still need a wallet.

2)If yes, meaning that the existing amount circulating of btc will be the existing amount circulating of btu?

Yes, the amount of Bitcoin Core that is present will be the same as the Bitcoin Unlimited Tokens. There are 21 million Bitcoin Core, so there are also 21 million Bitcoin Unlimited Tokens.

3)If blockchain is split, which means user will support bitcoin core will remain in the same btc network and continue mine under it. This leaves btu network a weak mining hashpower compare to btc network. In this case, the blockchain difficulty for both network is lower down?

As a Core Supporter, I will remain here, I really don't mind having a new altcoin, I will stick to Bitcoin Core. In case that no one supports BTU, it may eventually die and turn back to Bitcoin Core.
856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Andriod Games for Bitcoin to introduce kids? on: March 29, 2017, 11:35:43 PM
There are android games that I play using my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, and I've downloaded it on the playstore. They are Alien Run and The Blockchain Game. I love the blockchain game because it is more exciting than Alien run, mostly I am being pissed when I am playing alien run and I dont know why.
Just try them and look what might happen.
Im agree with this.
Alien run and Blockchain game is good Bitcoin android game that recommended to kids.

Totally agree, I am a player of blockchain game for a month now, and I have been stacking blocks everyday to earn some satoshi, though I am not that lucky, I am just reaching the tier of 70 although I reach 100 but did not get the jackpot. the highest reward on tier 80 is what I've got receiving my first payout from it.
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for current hike in bitcoin on: March 29, 2017, 02:30:59 PM
Many people want to try bitcoin because it is being used as a good asset to earn some money. The fact that it's price is increasing means that there are still users buying bitcoin because if the price dump that has happened last week. They are taking the advantage of the price while it is still in the three digits, but now I think it is not.

So I think some bitcoin users who converted their bitcoin into ETH are having a good dissapointed face right now. That panic will be really  lesson learned.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: At what exchange rate would you call Bitcoin dead? on: March 29, 2017, 02:19:53 PM
if Bitcoin die, bitcoin will have a price of $ 1, many people will continue to use bitcoin, although prices are still falling. developher patent bitcoin prices in the price of 1 $, using bitcoin looks still more than gambling and traders.

It will die in a price where there are no price after all, that is why it is dead, no one is using it and neither planning of using it. Still, I dont think that bitcoin will die, we have a lot of problems this month concerning this forking, yes, the bitcoin price dumped but just after weeks it is regaining again it's current price.

Many users trust bitcoin, and they really love it, we just need to trust bitcoin, let the people with brains and money debate about the major problems, I am just a user, and I can't help them, so I will just sit here and wait for a good news.
859  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Fork,BU ATBP. on: March 29, 2017, 10:17:33 AM
dama ko na ang pag panic ni bitcoin sana wagnamn nag uumpisa pa lng ako sa btc sana wagna bumaba ang price

Wag ka magalala sir, di yan ganun babagsak, ganyan naman talaga ugali ng bitcoin eh, all you need to do is keep your bitcoin and keep trusting it. Madami nang nangyareng price dump sa bitcoin pero strong pa din yan. Akala ko din babagsak na bitcoin, pero kung makikita mo yung price, tumataas na, sa tingin ko madami pa din gumagamit bitcoin.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: March 28, 2017, 11:59:42 PM
If you are looking to double this then you can use gambling. The risk is high but if you get it right it get's doubled.
Another way is trading. The risk is high but profit is good. All you have to do is exchange your coins to another coin when bitcoin is high exchange to anothe alt and then buy bitcoin when low
The other way is to invest your money in any dice site at leverage 10 and if everything goes right then you can earn a good profit or you can lose it all. The risk is moderate here.

I think the OP is asking about gambling and not interested on trading, though I will still recommend him to trade too, it is a good way to earn some profit than gambling with high risks. But if he likes gambling, sports betting is best for me. There are lot of sports gambling sites and must be reviewed first because it may be a scam so be careful.

As said recently, I also recommend to play some strategies, there are popular strategies like betting on the same sides, but it also depends on it's probabilities.
