It is satisfying to see Kane proving this early that he is a world class centre-forward. Because after playing in England for so many years this big change in his life hasn't affected him in a bad way. He still continues to score goals as usual. It is really impressive to see him being able to do this quite early within the season too.
When it comes to the bond between him and the rest of the players it looks decent for now. But to have a strong bond more time is needed. As long as he concentrates on his game like this and scores consistently I think Bayern Munich will be more comfortable than last season.

Why the retirement option? Eden Hazard can still play for Saudi Arabia teams in his last years of his career to make a huge deal of money instead of retiring. I don't think that he can't find any team from there. They are already okay about bringing well-known names by paying quite much money without looking at if they have been playing nicely lately.
I think he would get an offer soon if he hasn't yet. He should wait instead of retiring and play professional football for 2 more years at least.
He might not find a team for himself in Europe easily from now on. He can give the option I talked about a chance instead.

Maybe this season can be a bigger opportunity for a different team than PSG to make it to the league title. Because PSG are in a way more complicated situation this season. They are in a phase to rebuild now. There is only Mbappe left in the attacking line for example. Of course even his existence is a big plus for PSG.
But on the other hand PSG are likely to be inconsistent for a while at least. The new players are in an adaptation process now. We have seen it in the matches so far.
Luis Enrique can't prefer an attacking line without Mbappe currently despite the recent problems between Mbappe and the team. Because in his absence they are struggling to score very much.

Barcelona have a squad with great goal potential. It is just the first weeks of the season therefore they might need more time to be consistent about scoring multiple goals in one match. But against Villarreal they were really incredible. Despite the problems on defending they were still able to answer great at scoring goals. Defense problems can also be solved in time. They were the best about it last season if you remember. They were the least conceding team with only 20 goals during the whole season in the league. It will be really lovely to watch a big title rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid if they both play strongly this season.  |

It must be a shocking start for Atalanta to the match. Frosinone got 2-0 ahead in the first half already surprisingly. Atalanta have just scored now and maybe this might motivate them to make a comeback. I just don't understand why Atalanta have struggled this much in the first place.
Because Frosinone were seen on the first week as quite week against Napoli. I know Atalanta aren't at Napoli's level now but they are still a strong team of the league too. Maybe they underestimated their opponent quite much which led to this surprising score. I think this goal will help them get at least a draw.

All the matches of the teams in European cups have been postponed as you know. I think this is good for these teams as their schedule is really tight these days. Maybe after the group matches start in those cups also this kind of conveniences can still be provided to those teams. But I wouldn't expect it to happen all the time of course.
These teams will need to deal with the tightness of their schedules then. Players will be fatigued quite much probably so the teams dealing with this situation in the best way can gain a significant advantage in the Super League standings.
There is still time for more transfers to be made at the same time. Therefore I'm wondering if we will see another big transfer from Galatasaray - Fenerbahce duo especially.

Things are going pretty bad for Leipzig at the moment. It is halftime and they are behind by 1-0 right now. The goal came due to a defensive mistake. Leipzig complained and waited for a penalty to be given to them in the last moments of the first half. But there wasn't any penalty decision after VAR.
It is again the same 4-2-2-2 formation from Leipzig. I wonder if this system will work out somehow in the second half. But something might need to change.
For example maybe Poulsen can be replaced with Sesko or Werner. I don't think Poulsen is better than any of them in quality.

Dembele is like Neymar v2 in terms of injury problems. I hope that he doesn't get any lasting injury otherwise this transfer won't mean anything. He had this kind of issues at Barcelona and this was even a topic to mock for Barcelona fans. Dembele is a great player with high level skills. But he needs to be care about his health as much as possible on one hand. He played for 40 minutes against Toulouse and started the season with his new team. Now there might be some adaptation process maybe. But I think he can be quite beneficial for the team together with Mbappe. Goncalo Ramos is also in adaptation phase now. But with Mbappe this phase can speed up actually. Once Ramos starts to score he can regain his self-confidence. |

Manchester United defense line is actually comprised of really great centre-backs like Martinez and Varane. Therefore it wouldn't be fair to say that they have a bad defense. It must just be about being not ready for the new season yet. It isn't only the defense's fault that Manchester United see so many dangerous attacks in their half on the pitch.
Their midfield is also responsible for this of course. But this is only the beginning of the season. I believe they will get better in time. Manchester United were doing really good last season so they can reach that form again after some improvement. I can't wait to watch Hojlund also but he is still expected to be out for 1 more week.

Ulreich isn't a decent goalkeeper to me honestly. Therefore I think that Peretz would do a better work than him if he is really talented as he is said to be. Bayern Munich could have simply gone for experienced quality goalkeepers also such as David de Gea, Hugo Lloris and so on. But they didn't want this.
Maybe they didn't want to pay a lot of money for de Gea's wage demand for example. They have signed Kane new and paid a lot of money only to Tottenham. I can understand their policies if they just don't want to spend so much money from now on.

It has been a speculation for a long time that Lloris would leave the team soon. The most recent team being interested in him was Lazio but it has also dropped it. Maybe he would have returned to his old team which was Nice but it also has a goalkeeper like Schmeichel already in the squad. It doesn't look like he will find a team for himself in Europe.
At this point maybe he can find a Saudi Arabian team. Because teams from there are signing everyone these days. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be one of those players soon. He has made a good name for himself with his goalkeeping skills for years. He can also attract attention to himself.

Galatasaray are really strong in terms of attacking line. They can score goals very easily thanks to their quality attackers. Especially Icardi is something else lately. He was very impressive last season so Galatasaray wanted to sign him permanently. He is really worth paying that much money because he still continues from where he left. Villarreal seem not ready for the new season yet. First the loss against Betis home and after that they had difficulties in beating Mallorca away comfortably. This can be an opportunity for Barcelona to beat them away in their next fixture. Barcelona have already had a superiority to Villarreal in this stadium in the recent years.
I think they will keep up this superiority by this game as well. But maybe it would be a win by one goal. Because Barcelona also don't seem very good at winning in a comfortable way. They just dominate in statistics. But as long as they continue a winning streak they can get better.
I think a similar thing is happening to Barcelona this season. Their start to last season was also not very satisfying. They weren't getting very comfortable results. But in time the team started to get much readier for the rest of the season and we watched a great job by them which ended up with a La Liga championship. Maybe this season will also continue much better for Barcelona as of the upcoming matches. But even if it happens they can find a big competition against themselves this time - Real Madrid. Real Madrid have started amazingly despite playing with a different formation like 4-3-1-2. It looks like Ancelotti has found a working strategy for the current squad. PSG, Messi ve Neymar takımdan ayrıldıktan sonra ilerde yeni bir hücum üçlüsü kurdu. Gonçalo Ramos, Asensio ve Lee Kang-in gibi isimleri takıma getirerek yeni bir döneme başladı. Sezonun ilk lig maçında Mbappe'yi kadroya bile almadılar ama anormal bir durum yoktu bunda. Çünkü Mbappe ile takım arasındaki problemler yüzünden olan bir şeydi bu.
Bu maçta çok baskılı oynasalar da bir türlü gol bulamadılar. İkinci maçta ise Mbappe oyuna ikinci yarının başlarında girdi ve 10 dakika içerisinde etkisini gösterdi. Yine de beraberliğin önüne geçemediler. Mbappe ilk 11'den oyuna başlasa bile şimdilik PSG pek güvenilecek bir takım değil bence.

It is like a deja vu to me. Rangers drew with PSV home by 2-2 exactly like it happened in the last Champions League qualification round last season. I wonder how it will end up this time. PSV got a disappointing loss by 1-0 home back then and got eliminated. Maybe we don't have another deja vu in the second leg this time.
PSV seemed very dominant against Rangers last night but still Rangers were the side to get ahead first.
If this happens in the second leg too then PSV had better keep up this scoring productivity.
