Can you translate your PnF charts to a buy or sell signal ? Tongue (Looks from your chart, that we stopped at a resistance line and we probably go down. Correct ?)

wexlike: good advice, where were you when I was 22? i'm in lots of debt to the bank for a failed business from several years ago. debt doesn't scare me anymore, and I do have a steady job now. small amounts of credit like 2 bitcoin on a credit card seem like nothing compared to the 40k euros I owe the bank

You are willing to take a risk. I really like that, i wouldnt have the balls to borrow 40k euros. Smiley But I really strongly discourage you to buy a very risky investment like bitcoins with money that you cant really afford to lose. You are almost the prime target for someone who is selling the bag of a promising investment. The moment you buy the tide turns and you are confronted with a downturn and pain in your head because you have to pay back the money at some point AND your investment is losing in value. And then you sell low, while i buy back with profit. (Sold at 317; i will buy back with a loss if we rise higher (420+))

If you can't afford 500 euros now from your own pocket, don't buy them. You would make a prime mistake.

Nevertheless, if you really buy some coins, then please make a plan with a tight stoploss.

at the start of the month, with all the bullish news, I was looking at my coinbase account and it's option to fund with credit card....hmmm, I thought, I have this new credit card with no interest for 2 months...hmmm...will I buy 2 more bitcoins? I should, I thought. I could cash out in a few weeks and maybe make an easy hundred euros or two.

I did not. Goddamnit. Could have made an easy 30% gain off of credit.

and now I wonder, is it worth doing that today? any thoughts?

Dont play with borrowed money. It will turn your hands and your mind weak.

It's great to see some PnF Charts again, Klee! Smiley

You expect a higher btc price because of the ltc move a few hours ago ?

*eating my hat* Smiley

I  just reentered a bitcoin position. The recent move looks quite interesting.

Sold my position, feels bubbely. Will reenter either at 270 or 420.
867  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is a Bitcoin whale? on: October 28, 2015, 10:54:16 AM
In my opinion to brand someone as a whale, you should be afraid of him starting to sell his coins.

In the current wide spread market distribution a whale would need approximately 30000 bitcoins to move a price significantly down across all exchanges without leverage.
868  Economy / Economics / Re: America's new debt ceiling - $19,600,000,000,000 on: October 28, 2015, 10:42:55 AM
Can anyone extend this graph out?  At this insane exponential (possibly exponential2) growth

I doubt it'll continue like that, most world governments are making moves to reduce the budget deficit as it is (the UK is supposed to have a balanced budget by 2020) and countries like China & Germany still have vast amounts of money they can lend out. And either way, even if a country goes bankrupt, I doubt it'll cause "global collapse" like most people think.

Luckily they can just rise their debt level every single time. The beauty of modern states.. Roll Eyes
869  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: October 28, 2015, 10:23:27 AM
It depends on your lifestyle.
Maybe 200 bitcoins is totally good.

10 should be definitely enough. The question is, are your hands strong enough?
870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Free money available on: October 28, 2015, 08:07:45 AM
TPTB and his ilks are known to be quite wrong on MANY, if not ALL, occasions. I can't think of a time when he's right. Everything that comes out of his mouth is WRONG!!!

Nope.
871  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price "stability" is a joke: there is no stability. Only calm before storms. on: October 22, 2015, 11:48:02 AM
I was never in a real bull market before. Would be cool to finally get some real excitement after 2 bearish years. Smiley
872  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Halvening on: October 15, 2015, 07:04:28 AM
It will be interesting to see which company is willing to mine at a loss for 2 weeks. (If the price doesn't double beforehand)
873  Economy / Speculation / Re: BECOME A MILLIONAIRE OPEN PROJECT: Turn 100$ into a true life. (0/100 COMPLETED) on: October 15, 2015, 06:59:52 AM
This thread should be moved over to the altcoin section, if you are just trading air and no bitcoins.

Don't make the same mistakes like last time. A lot of people warned you, including me. If you trade altcoins try to find fair launched coins with a healthy development, community and a proven market driven price history. Try to buy price dips and sell in the rebound. Useally this means a profit of 5-10% per trade.

Just dont be scared of selling at a loss! You seem like a very young and naive person, the ideal combination for selling you an empty bag.

Imho, trading the bitcoin market is currently not worth it.
877  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: September 18, 2015, 08:42:06 PM
I was talking about the majority, not about cherry picked intelligent and well integrated (a-religious! Smiley ) minorities of a community.

Those quoted countries appear to be some of the worst in Europe not that the whole place isn't a mess.
I don't think innovation in the areas of science and technology will be coming from mother Europe any time soon, instead from Asia.
From my perspective it looks like Europe and the West as a whole have condemned themselves to civil unrest, warfare, totalitarianism and degeneracy rather than progress.
I think there will be an exodus away from the west once this crisis becomes more clear.

I boldly disagree. Determining a human behavior by addressing whole countries is a generalization which is ineptly perceived. To give you an example: Who can tell for sure that the poor Nigerian emigrant that came in Greece at his age of 6 and now studies molecular biology won't be the one who finds the cancer treatment?

Technology and innovation is not country oriented; and frankly, not even person oriented, really. There are no "genes" for smart people. Everybody has equal chances to achieve magnificence as everybody else. Take for example the best students in the US Universities. Most of them are emigrants. You know why they excel? Because they have no alternative! THEY WANT TO SUCCEED!

It's no different for any other country in the whole planet. I believe that the "injection" of desperate people within EU (and elsewhere) will rise the probability of innovation, instead of decreasing it. Those people have something in common. They're children of a lesser God to the eyes of locals. And they WANT to succeed in order to change this. I believe most of them will eventually manage doing it.

I agree on the civil unrest part; but requires us, to reject the emigrants from our neighborhoods. Which IMHO is inhuman and unfair.

The problem with the current immigrants is, that half of their brain is occupied by religion. Another problem is, that half of their population is not allowed to do anything else beside breeding and taking care of children at home.

Chances of them contributing in a positive way to the German community are around zero.
