861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 06, 2011, 09:37:38 PM
Dude blame CoinHunter for what ArtForz did to solidcoins. ArtForz went to him and told him there is a problem, and that he needs to fix it. and he basically told ArtForz to fck himself.

Coinhunter could have avoided the whole thing with a simple statement "Thanks for pointing this out, I will fix it as soon as possible, please keep this confidential until after the fix is made". but noooooooo he wanted to be his douchy self.... "I know what I am doing biaaatch"

Never forget, Art still did a dick move.

I can't wait till my 10 day muskie fishing trip in Wisconsin starts. I need a break from this forum.

Going away from the forums every so often is quite a good thing.  Keep things entertaining.  Every time I have gone and come back there are new 'main' posters and someone new is a scammer, and it is actually surprising every time.

God bless Bitcoin tickers to make sure I keep up to date on market value without the soap opera, which is pure entertainment value at this point.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] SolidCoin - new and improved block chain. Secure from pools on: September 06, 2011, 09:04:11 PM
I was telling him to squash his pride, shut his mouth and get somebody else to do PR.
It is amazing how hard it is for someone to do 'nothing'.. I am pretty sure by definition that takes no effort.  Oh well.  I feel I have been polite, and I do not intend to change that.

Dear lord your avatar though, you better win.  And thus owe smoothie bounty money though.

I have no idea where I was going with this campaign either, but I started and had to finish something out lol.  I think I'm the winner so far.

a.k.a. drug running.

870  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Sell me something! on: September 06, 2011, 12:45:48 PM
If you are still in the market for spending some of those hard earned Bitcoin...Please check out http://www.bitcoinz.ca - The BItCoin Super Store. Thank YOU

Get better quality vaporizers!

Seriously though, I like your store set up, messy, but it feels like I walked into a discount shop and there are items there I could see myself buying on impulse if I had any btc to spare.
871  Other / Meta / Re: A proposal... on: September 06, 2011, 12:37:45 PM
Let's auto-delete any topic mentioning SomethingAwful within any of the main Bitcoin forums besides Meta and Off-topic.

Who's in favor?

I think people just need to use the report button more and accurately.  Mods do take care of shit on request from what I've noticed.
872  Economy / Speculation / Re: CRASH! on: September 06, 2011, 12:30:34 PM
These low numbers are making me want to buy Bitcoin when I do not have extra money to invest.  Holy fuck I had a joke order on Tradehill for like six bucks something a while ago, I never dreamed the day it would go through Smiley
873  Other / Off-topic / Re: nanaimogold's opinion on homosexuality on: September 06, 2011, 12:28:30 PM
I think it's safe to say it's time to just delete bitcointalk.org from the internet lol
874  Other / Off-topic / Re: Atlas and kiba, MIA? on: September 06, 2011, 12:27:23 PM
Hopefully keep an eye out on http://bitcoinweekly.com/ for any updates to at least know Kiba is alive.

Also they could possibly have joined other communities https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41760.msg508857#msg508857

I am still not sure if it was the trolls that fucked this board over or the devs that gave up on it, I kind of see it as they worked together to help ensure trust forever is fucked in the Bitcoin (lack of) community lol.

The sane and level-headed ideas of Atlas will be missed. His dedication and follow-through were an inspiration to the Bitcoin community.

Agreed.  He was quite a motivator and wished when I had the time I could have worked with him on one of the many ideas.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 06, 2011, 12:20:06 PM
because coinhunter has the intelligence of Pinky and the attitude of Brain.
I am so using this today on someone, and I'll sadly feel clever when I do it.

Edit, from Eskimo Bob

876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do people know about this yet? on: September 06, 2011, 12:17:51 PM
I forgot to join, will get to it.

So far the top alternate communities for Bitcoin

http://reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/
http://bitcoin.org.uk/forums/
http://www.anoncoin.org/

And now
http://www.bitcoinforums.net/

Any more?

I know Vlad has someone doing some SEO work for him, is everyone else doing some bullshit backlinking on the term "Bitcoin Forums" for your sites?  If not, get on it.   Download a program called XRumor, grab some forum lists, have a ball, no one seems to be trying to pull rank for this term and I'm surprised a Black Hat hasn't jumped all over it just to abuse that term that is directed linked from Bitcoin.org

In order,
Bitcoin
Weedcoins https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=9493.msg361411#msg361411
SolidCoin

I respect Namecoin more and more as each day grows, they do not seem to have a PR team, which keeps the  focus on the tech until it is ready for PR, I used to hate it but now am considering getting some for the fucks of it.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 06, 2011, 12:10:18 PM
Best part about most of what you guys seem to be making out as his 'crazy talk', will be 'holy fuck he was a genius talk' after he succeeds.

This post made with ego stroking purposes only as a way to attempt to deflect all the hate. I do not fully believe what I typed Sad
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Way of bitcoiner on: September 06, 2011, 12:08:37 PM
I don't understand #6.  It's A LOT easier to cash out then it to get USD into an exchange.

In defense of the funny image, you are making a comment about it when it was made in May and I do not remember Dwolla and Gox being as friendly as they are now back then.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get paid to discredit bitcoin on: September 06, 2011, 12:06:35 PM
I think we all with Twitter accounts should jump on this.  We all know it's bs.  The only possible outcome is it would drop the price (though I doubt in a million years random Tweets regarding malware in Bitcoin is going to screw the price up).  If price drops, great for everyone, buy up.  If it doesn't drop, no harm, no foul, we all know the tech is good, I don't worry about Tweeting their bs to invest back in Bitcoin.

Sponsoredtweets is a reliable site, so I expect payment to be good.  Who is down?   I think this should be doen en mass, people on the forums here should start Twitter accounts just to have fun with this campaign.   Too many Bitcoiners have sticks up their asses, this should be a good time for all Smiley
