The source is claiming that Barcelona are still going to pursue Bernardo Silva transfer in January. Because their salary cap has been increased by £490m.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/barcelona-transfers-mancity-bernardo-silva-27956287

Manchester City have stated before that they aren't intending to sell Bernardo Silva. I don't think that their decision would change easily unless they find a better alternative than him. These days I only see Neymar for the position. However his cost to Manchester City would be incredibly high. I don't think that they would think of taking a risk by signing an older player for a much higher value. If Barcelona are ready to spend very much money then they can try to bring Neymar back to the team for example. However I don't know what Xavi would think about that. Because this might mean a change in his system which he might not like to do.

Watching Bernado Silva play tells me he is a good match for Barcelona
They mancity turned down all moves for him this window
Bringing Bernado in would see Franke De Jong leave Barcelona
A good deal if you ask me, Xavi has big plans for Barcelona

Sooner or later, all scheduled games will be played and all teams will meet on the football field. Personally, I don't see a problem with rescheduling matches and I think English Premier League fans can endure one week without football matches for their favorites teams.

It's only one week and I can still see the Other League running. It was nice to see tolerance in sports. I'm not familiar with the rescheduling setup, but I don't think it's an issue. All teams must respect the decisions taken by the League.
Maybe next week I'm waiting for the Chelsea vs Liverpool game. Two teams that have not been able to perform steadily in the EPL. In addition I am waiting for the debut of Potter, the new manager of Chelsea.  Although they will be up against Salzburg in the UCL.

Liverpool was in a better place to win Chelsea last season but they couldn't
Let go of the penalties and Fa Cup finals wom by red's
They met four time last season and all ended as draw. Chelsea did well even without a good form
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 11, 2022, 02:40:51 PM
Inter Milan successfully won three points from Torino.  This victory is expected by the Nerazzurri camp to restore the confidence of the players.  This victory also had a positive impact on Simeone Inzaghi, because his team's successive defeats made his fate on the verge of being sacked.  But despite winning this week, Inzaghi also has to evaluate his squad.  Their performance this season is still very weak when compared to last season.

Because the Serie A season has only entered week 6, I think it too soon to think about Inter's weak performance, because the results obtained are not much different from Inter's performance last season until week 6.
This season Inter get 5 wins and 1 loss from a total of 6 matches
Last season Inter get 4 wins and 2 draws until week 6

I'm sure Inzaghi's changes this season can bring a better impact, even more so Inzaghi managed to bring back Romelu Lukaku, he was an Inter star before moving to Chelsea.

Lukaku shouldn't have left in the first place
Good he is back here at Inter Milan but the doesn't include option to buy back
Moving to and fro is something I don't like from players Alvaro Morata is another name that hasn't settled well
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 11, 2022, 02:38:44 PM
FT: Real Madrid 4-1 Mallorca.
If I'm asked which player deserves the most communication in this game I would say first is Velverde for that very  amazing over 52yards run that resulted in the equalising goal before the end of the first half, which was very Crucial. Congratulations to Rudiger on scoring his first goal in a Madrid uniform, it was a well timed run from him to convert the free kick in the final moments of the game, first of many for him i expect.

Do you want to exclude Vini Jr?
He is also the man of the game, he did well and he deserves an accolades I love his playing skills, despite all the hits yet he made out a way as well before Rodrigo and Rudiger.
Mallorca were stressed up , though they play a very nice game but they can't be compared with Rmadrid. I predicted 2:1 but finally ended up 4:1 which is a very nice played.

That solo goal from Velverde brought them back into the game.
Did you see the distance he took to score that goal, the last time I saw such was Son in the premier league against Burnley.
They all contributed well, Rodrygo also scored an important goal to seal the game

Mancheste should have spent lesser on Antony but Ajax was too stubborn to handle
If it demands them increasing the fee to get him then so be it.
If it was earlier in the transfer window, then it wouldn't have been so high fee for Manchester
They don't usually spend big at all times
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 10, 2022, 06:53:09 PM
Wow! that was fast!

In the end, if FC Barcelona wants to be on top of the ranking until the end of La Liga it can't afford to lose points easily against relatively bad teams at the beginning of the championship.

Good game for Catalan side, played very well in first half but more desicive during second half
Both the left back advancement into Cadiz was awesome.
Goals both came from the right wing, Raphina should learn to pass the ball gradually he will score.
De Jong and Lewandoski for the win, brilliant Busquet
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 10, 2022, 06:48:58 PM
This is something for sure but I still feel Potter will be able to take Chelsea in a better direction but it will definitely take time. Luckily they will now be taking a break for the time being and it's clearly advantageous for Potter to approach his players and come up with a scheme that will work for them.
At the moment they are not in good form and with the transition of leadership in the coach will obviously make things different but with this holiday I think it is a godsend for them.
Two weeks break is definitely a good opportunity for Chelsea to take time and rebuild their team most especially now that the cub have a new coach that need time t get used to the payers. And i believe Chelsea performance will improve when premiere league resume back.

With a coach that has won nothing ?
I wonder what TB is all about, this would be a bad year for Chelsea if Potter don't start winning games.
I will see how he read and analyse games, but yes Chelsea's needs some players again during January transfer

An interesting game between Inter and Torino towards the end of the match... A nil draw is probably due to the visitors... In any case, such a result does not suit Inter, but is quite acceptable for Torino... By the way, the game statistics are on Inter's side, but Torino also showed their game well in this match... Let's look at the final minutes... Inter scored while I was writing, but Torino still did well!

Just as it should be, very tight first half for inter to break Torino
I gave up already saying it's finally a draw game between them, but brozovic came back with a soft touch into the net.
Martinez was locked up by Torino,Dzeko also good they finally won. Good three points

These are still active moments for Newcastle. They have reached an agreement with Karius and very close to finishing Grimaldo deal as well. Maybe these are still not incredible transfers for them considering the enormous transfer budget they have currently. But they are building a squad which is of decent quality to have a better season. For now things aren't well for them after getting 4 draws in 6 games. They are trying to create a solution to this by making good transfers. Grimaldo is a good choice but I don't know about Karius. He doesn't have a good past with Liverpool.

Ohh Karius.... I remember him very well
Players like this ends up putting top class performance and display against their former club's
Newcastle are not what I think they should be, Eddie Howe should do better, he has brought in good names but not seen around top 6
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 10, 2022, 06:32:30 PM
neymar had just scored in the 30' minute, which put PSG 1-0 ahead of Brest, what i see is galtier doesn't take this match lightly, he fielded the best squad to face brest

such as predictions that PSG will easily win from Brest.  looks like this match will end with a big win for PSG (more than 2 goals)

Neymar Junior to the results, yes they defending was nice
I expected this result since they have champions league coming up
Wining single goal are not bad what matters is that they take all three points
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: September 10, 2022, 06:30:42 PM
I understand Erik ten Hag's choices for this match. They needed to rotate the squad to prevent any fatigue for the crucial players before the next Premier League match. But this was still a match that could have got one point at worst. Because their first half performance and the one after conceding the goal were impressive.
This is the risk when they playing with some of reserved players that the players looks cannot collaborated each other and it just happend yesterday to Manchester United that although they were dominated the match but Manchester United cannot created the opportunity to scoring goals and on the second half Ten Hag has realized this situation with played Bruno Fernandes and Sancho but seems it's too late because they cannot develop their game but maybe this match will be different if Sancho, Rashford and Fernandes playing since the beginning of match
In my opinion, United need to maintain an already solid formation, which is to hone their sharpness and cohesiveness to be more consistent in every game (and not rotate everything or only give Maguire a portion of playing time). I think Ronaldo needs more time on the pitch he loses form. The more he plays the more he will score goals

In the Premier League did they start poorly ?
If they did then they can still turn game's around
It's just the first game and people are criticizing man utd already, high standards Ten Hag has but mistakes and failure's do happens
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 05, 2022, 09:37:13 PM
I think this weekend game between Tottenham Vs Manchester city will determine how far Tottenham can go and show much they are ready for the premier League title, because for me I think Tottenham can win the league, because you can't have players like Harry Kane, son, kulusevski and Richarlison on your attack and don't expect to win something, especially now they have coach like Conte. If you look at other favourite teams like Liverpool and Chelsea they don't have enough fire power.
Spurs odds are low in that game at 7.4 comparing to around 1.4 for City which is kinda underestimating Spurs. Ok the game is in Etihad Stadium, Manchester, but Spurs aren't an easy opponent especially with Conte as coach.

It was same last season try relating back
Tottenham put some huge and big performance to win Pep Guardiola
Conte has won Pep for some time even during his days at Chelsea.

Can't wait to see Diego Costa scattering defense once again with Wolverampton
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 05, 2022, 07:41:36 PM
Bayern Munich still seems very interested in bringing Tottenham star Harry Kane to the Allianz Arena.

According to rumors, Bayern have asked Kane not to extend his contract with Spurs as they are planning a move for the England captain to play in the Bundesliga.

It will be interesting to wait for news from Kane, how much longer will he remain satisfied with Tottenham, because we know with Spurs Kane is still lacking a trophy until now.

That's a good move you see there, he will be a perfect replacement for Lewandoski
They actually said openly about this move, now it's up in the air again
His chances of winning trophies is here, he better listens to the door.
Bayern Munich has high chances of winning Bundesliga and also Champions League in the next 5 to 6 years
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 05, 2022, 07:33:59 PM
Well I a Chelsea fan, but to be honest I don't see my club lifting the title this season maybe next years to come but not this season. The premiership entirely is absolutely interesting this season like I practically can't wait for every weekend to come. For the title I think city will regain it but there will be a lot of drama in it.

Good observation, notice they did poorly in the last game against West Ham
They didn't get the right player's if I should say.
Last game saw low ball delivery to attacking players, more of the ball didn't go through middle.
They should get replacement for Jorginho he dropped form already
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 03, 2022, 08:42:13 AM
Well we already started with the surprise of not having Italy in this world cup.

I hope the Netherlands actually managed to win this world cup, it would be an epic thing to achieve for them, because they are always so close to winning it
Yep, great observation!
I believe, almost all the cups that Italy participated, it was always a competitive team.

Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, England and Spain are always one of the favorites to win the World Cup (of course, in my opinion).
I didn't research it, but I'm pretty sure that these 7 teams I mentioned were in at least the top 3 of the last World Cups we've had.

Oh, a team that I analyzed that has been evolving a lot is Belgium, this country has excellent players, they are young and with each passing year Belgium soccer evolves more, I have no doubt that it will be a competitive team in this World Cup.

Spain at South Africa 2010, Germany at Brazil 2014,  France at Russia 2018
You failed to mention France who won the Fifa World Cup last
Belgium tends to be strong but when going gets going they fall back
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 03, 2022, 08:29:03 AM
This time they will face Manchester United, where Erik Ten Hag's men are in good form from their previous three matches.
I'm not really sure Arsenal can play loose and get full points, because Manchester United are still on a good track and if their new signings can come in, Arsenal are under pressure.
Man United may be in good form. they got a new striker and their defensive play started to improve. but Arsenal is not bad. they swept 5 games clean with a win. I'm sure even playing at home to Man United, will not interfere with the momentum from Arsenal.
I believe it will be quite difficult for Arsenal. but at least Arsenal can get a draw, not a defeat.

Same way they lost all first five fixtures last season
Having a turn around in the sixth game, see history playing backwards ?
Let them give all them best shot, I won't take side's I just want to watch interesting football tomorrow
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 03, 2022, 07:59:46 AM

Arsenal is on a desperate move this season as the club is aiming to reclaim the long-lost glory of being the top England club, but they have strong opponents that may make that goal hard to achieve.

But arsenal from the start of this season has maintained a steady flow of consistency in winning all their matches, but the October lineup is going to be the most challenging time for arsenal, and if they can cross that stage with good points, the remaining time in the premier league will become easy for Arsenal.

October will be very tough for Arsenal, they have always won against Tottenham I'll see this time
Manchester City would be a sure banker can Arsenal win that game ?
More likely not to loose tomorrow, they have been super excellent, but I see they have injury in the winning squad
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 03, 2022, 07:16:43 AM
now that the transfer window is closed, there is room for some statistics - one of which is that promoted nottingham forest has achieved something historic and that is that the club have broke the english and british football record for most signings (21!!!) in a single transfer window - this is a complete team including substitutes... Shocked

It takes an experience coach to handle such a situation
Last time I saw something almost but not close to this was Liverpool after the sake of Suarez to Barcelona signing eleven players, they didn't invest the money on the right players and Bedran Rogers got sacked as a result of mismanagement.
I see Nottingham Forest has come to stay in the premier league, I am not worried in the long run they will be relegated, they have come to stay in the premier league, it's been like 23years already without them in the Premier League until this return.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 03, 2022, 07:06:29 AM
In the Merseyside Derby, Liverpool will prove that the Reds are a strong club even though a number of players have suffered injuries.

I'm not as confident in Liverpool against Everton as you are. Liverpool snatched victory from Newcastle in the 98th minute of the match, it was a very difficult victory. Everton have been able to draw with the likes of Leeds and Brentford away, which is very difficult to do, so I expect Liverpool to have a difficult match again and I wouldn't be surprised if they lose points in this match.
Liverpool will get a clear and clean winning from Everton during the earliest kick off of English premier league today. Everton is not stable yet and have never found their headway in this season. We shouldn't rely on the fight that Newcastle gave Liverpool to judge Everton. Newcastle players are fighters, starting from defence to their strong man -St. Maximin and now to their Real Socieda new signing. The can of fight that Newcastle put in match, Everton cannot, that is why Liverpool will trick them with high pressing football.

That's a derby match, you just don't be expectant of one club raiding the other.
Has Liverpool been in good shape likewise ?
It's an open game, you sure have your opinions but it's best we talk about this after 90 minutes
No Manchester United fan wants Liverpool winning this derby
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 02, 2022, 05:20:15 AM
Barcelona have made some quality additions to their team this season, and with what we are seeing, they are ready to go head to head with Real Madrid to defeat them and win the Lalliga tittle.Real Madrid did not add much players to the current squad they have, they just believe in the existing spirit of winning thats in the team. And as we can all see, they are currently doing well, and might just continue this form till the season ends.

Nice one from Barcelona, Two late signatures Marcus Alonso and Bellerin
Since Dest is far gone a loan switch to Ac Milan they needed back up for that position, a very committed right back is Bellerin watched him in those days as an Arsenal player.
Real Madrid has a good squad Ancellotti had no plan to add any player before the window shuts down
