Seriously? Your Bitify listing says 3 HOUR WARRANTY ? That's barely enough time to drink a cup of coffee.

Ive seen also people selling bitcointalk accounts here, nobody got banned.
Its more obvious scam, and nothing is done about it since Ive registered.
So this is pretty useless.
The official stated policy of this place is that they do not moderate/delete/suspend/ban any scammers (proven or suspected) so it's a free for all. Also (according to mods) selling accounts is not against the rules so sellers won't be banned.

Thank god this thread is pinned now.
Please, please PLEASE remember, that a self-moderated thread is almost 100% scam!! especially if the deal sounds "too good to be true". All those "$1500 AWS credit for only $50" - yeah right...
Self-moderated topic is not a scam, its a option which this forum allows u to defend yourself from sale trashers and trolls. U r a newbie here and u dont have a single clue. In this section, 90% of the time you are wrong. While there MAY be some legit ones for the most part the self-moderated threads in THIS SECTION (digital) are scams especially those from newbies.. So there's a option put on forum, and when u use it - its a scam? Locked topics (where OP doesnt ALLOW posts) are scam for sure, self-moderated ones (not from newbies) are not. Your logic confuses me. Any "option" can be abused and in THIS part (digital goods) of the forum THAT OPTION is regularly abused. Pick out any 30 "self-moderated" threads IN THIS SECTION - DIGITAL GOODS - and show me how many aren't scams out of those 30. And yes, I did specify NEWBIES but in this section it's most (not all). In this section of the forum I'd wager 80% off all threads are scams. In other sections of this place you may very well be correct, but not here (DIGITAL GOODS) which is the original discussion of this thread. 73's

Move this to Scam Accusations and make a proper report.
bla bla You can post all the "anti-scam report" stuff you like but the OP posted in the wrong place. I don't disagree at all, he did post wrong. My point was "the right place" is a waste of time (just as the "wrong place" is as well - except "the right place" is where it should be. ) and it makes no difference either way. This place is a wasteland and having thought about it I also fully understand why the mods don't "moderate" scams. According to someone knowledgeable about this stuff there can be legal issues involved.

EtherPIC is a liar and I purchased the item (ACCOUNT MONEY.YANDEX (passport verified) MasterCard × 1) for $23 on his website {https://bitminers.pro/}. It has not been shipped and no items have been received. No refund. I tried to contact them by email and there was no answer.
Why not forbid him? He is deceiving us.
Scammer don't get banned here. Had you simply read his "TRUST" and noted his locked threads it would have been obvious and you would not have been scammed. Sorry you lost your money but it's pretty much your fault for not R-E-A-D-I-N-G. It was quite obvious he was a scammer.

Move this to Scam Accusations and make a proper report.
You can post all the "scam accusation proper report" stuff you want but it is meaningless since policy here is that scams are never moderated and scammers are never banned. They are like cockroaches and live here forever.

BEWARE, This guy is an alt of the #1 gift card scammer on this board - JAAC (and probably 20 others - want a list?). He's "giving away" a free app that's free. Tomorrow he'll give away free air. What a deal. Just read his trust and don't BUY anything from him. So now you're posting the same shit twice? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4404938.0

By the looks of it, the DT members disapprove of this practice, and your trust just took a hammering. How could you not predict that this would happen? In any case, do you actually think 26 merits would be worth $50? Merits.... $50? Doesn't compute.
If people really wanted merit, they would post highly quality material here on the forum, the merit sources aren't exactly stingy with their sMerit. If you post something worthy, you'll be merited. Anybody receiving merit suspiciously (e.g. indicating it has been purchased) is likely to take a hammer just like you.
Anyone who will buy or sell sMerit will probably get negative trust rating and if I were the admin like Theymos I will ban those account doing that. Look like thread starter already banned. It can be a problem if this guy give someone merit. Forum admin can punish merit "receiver" even if they didn't paying for them. Ban merit seller is the best decision. They should ban ACCOUNT sellers as well. That's probably worse but since they let blatant SCAMMERS go on for years why would they care about merit sellers?

Another newbie with auto-buy links. Never buy using these auto-buy (Selly etc) links. Always ask for a trusted member to act as escrow. If the sellers refuse or ignore your request YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.
Waiting for the first fake vouch and then the first person to yell "I've been scammed."
