Here is the perfect example of a seller who claims to be the greatest & most legit and don't dare question me and say I'm no good thing since sliced bread (he had another similar thread before this one but I'm too lazy to look it up).

Simply read the last 3 messages before reading the rest:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1095296.20  and you wonder why no one really believes what anyone says.

That's your example?  Roll Eyes I'm offering escrow anywhere anyone wants.
Escrow is totally meaningless for SBX cards other than the fact you at least would get one.  AGAIN, I'm not saying you don't BELIEVE what you are saying, only that what you are saying means nothing in the real world because you can disappear as fast as you appeared at the first sign of a problem.  YES, I KNOW YOU "SAY" YOU WON'T but your word is only as good as your anonymity.

I'll make you a deal.  I'll take 4 of your $20 cards and pay you your 50% asking price 2 weeks AFTER I get them if they are still good. I'm an honest buyer and promise I won't take off without paying and promise I'll be here forever.

Deal?

Selling FAKE is one thing but selling and then not giving ANYTHING at all after being paid  is another.

Your point #2 is the biggest part of the joke.  Just about EVERY SELLER says that.  I know YOU care but if your "suppliers"  won't make good on bad cards (as is what usually happens) you will be gone in a milisecond and back as yet another "bestest"" seller.

My "suppliers" are people I buy from locally, in person. But I'm guessing you won't believe that.

Nope .... Wink  But so what? Those folks still have to buy (or steal) them the same way because even if they were SBX employees they aren't given gift card discounts.  Again, I don't care.  I don't care how you get them only how you (and all the other sellers) represent them.  Eg:  legit, guaranteed, won't get shut down, I'll always be there to replace them, and on and on.  But I guess that how it works when sales are made behind anonymous user names on forums using untraceable not reversible currency. Cheesy
1685  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 Starbucks Gift Cards (50% off) on: June 26, 2015, 05:03:07 PM

Comments like that make me laugh.  You all get your cards from the same places and by the same methods as all the "scammers" despite all the BS. I don't care as long as they work but just because you sell them for "more" doesn't make what you sell any more or less legit.  If you sell them for "more" because you want to get more that's fine but who are you kidding? It's all the same shit and as soon as you start having problems (IF you sell any for that price) you'll be gone and be back as someone else to start over again.  Why can't you folks just be up front?  Most people aren't stupid and they know exactly what they are getting.

If you don't want or like comments then you are selling in the wrong forum.

If everyone "knows" then why be so pretentious about it? I'm not a scammer:

1. I'm not a robot, clearly
2. I care if something goes wrong and will resolve it and not disappear.

Is my price higher? Sure. Should it be? Yes, for these reasons. You could buy at a stupid low price of 15%, but for that it is pretty guaranteed nothing good will come out of it given the people you are buying from who clearly don't give a damn about anything. I've been selling Starbucks cards for the past 6 months and both me and my buyers have made a lot of money; however I haven't sold much on Here do to all these high and mighty people who think they know everything and are quick to judge. So please, either buy from me or don't comment. If it's so "obvious" then why post at all?

Obvioulsy not.

Anyone interested?

The going rate is 15-20% right now.

Yes, from people who are scammers

1687  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {Selling} - Starbucks Gift Card for 35% ☆★☆★☆★ on: June 25, 2015, 03:08:35 PM
In your guys opinion, which seems to last longer... Egift codes vs login account (email/password).

Say you receive a $50 balance.  Which one would u rather have??

Frankly I'd rather not login to someone else's account or a fake account loaded with money from a stolen credit card and knowingly steal gift cards or product from that credit card connected to that account.  That is pretty blatant and is obvious theft tied to directly you.  What if SBX was able to trace your use of a stolen account (credit card) by connecting a purchase with a photo from a store camera? **IF** they wanted to I have no doubt they could.  At least when you get an e-gift there is SOME semblance of your LACK OF knowledge of how they are obtained despite how obvious even that is.  You could at least plead ignorance by saying you thought you were getting a good deal.  Tongue Tongue

Ignorance of the law does not excuse you from it. THey will prosecute you the same if they believe you knew about it when you bought it. You could say you got it from a friend or raise.com or any of those sites since most of those are stolen cards as well.

"They" couldn't prove O.J. guilty so I'm not worried about buying cheap cards.  ACCOUNTS is another thing.
1688  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell egift starbucks ACTIVE 15% in bulk on: June 25, 2015, 12:47:08 AM
Let's be honest. Don't put your hopes into "warranties." We pay 15% because the risk is high, and the sellers have no reputation. When I buy a gift card like this, I literally walk out the door and spend some of it. Pay $15, spend $30. And I don't have any expectations about the cards staying good.

P.S. sandy-is-fine -- He will pop up under a new name next week. Wink

100% agree on both your comments.  That's exactly what I do. It's a gamble.  Can't be risk averse.  Win some, lose some.

(This is probably already his 4th user-ID)

I will NOT buy from you anymore since you scammed CHRIS521 but you never even replied to my request for another card.  Are you going to say I was a bad buyer too?

Don't buy from this guy ..... he sends bad cards then blames they buyer.
1690  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 Starbucks Gift Cards (50% off) on: June 24, 2015, 11:58:32 PM

Not a negative post but as a point of reference are you guaranteeing that these cards will not die or go invalid?

50% is a premium markup on these boards so usually in order to get people to bite there should be some additional info.

If you have any trouble I will replace or refund, whichever you prefer. I'm not looking to scam anyone. The only time my cards go bad is if they have been in a couple accounts and get transfered again. It doesn't happen very often though. I would recommend transferring to a physical card to ensure security; they will also never die this way, unless transferred to a new physical card once again.

That is 100% totally wrong.  Moving them to a physical cards is TOTALLY meaningless as SBX can easily follow the transfer across 1 to 100 cards and (from personal experience) has multiple times.

From her email to me, she mentioned that alot of sbux cards are crapping out instantly or in a few hours (unlike before).  She said once there is a "fix" then she'll be back on here ready to sell.  ETA is unknown tho  Undecided

What changed?!? What did starbucks do on their end??

Not sure that it has anything to do with Starbucks -- although it could. That would be impossible to determine. One possibility is that the latest batch was "old", meaning the period of time from which these cards had been purchased (fraudulently) was significantly longer than with previous batches. My thinking is that most chargebacks occur once the credit card statement arrives -- weeks later. In this case, those weeks of lag didn't exist.

Just one possibility, anyway.

Interesting theory and makes sense although I have probably 6 or 7 unused cards bought from various sellers (and none of those sellers survived more than a week (at least under the name they used) that are anywhere from 3 to 12 months old and still good. It could be some are purchased with "real" money that is being "moved" and some are just taken from hacked accounts.  The hacked account cards are pretty obvious because they have many transactions (store purchases) already on them.  Those rarely last.

Is no one interested? I'll be listening to offers at this point.
$5 cause it's probably hacked like everything else here.

Looking for another card, please check your PM.

LOL, guess he will only sell you 1 time.  First card all used and so I left PM and message here (and he has been on and off 2x since) with no response.

No, he means $15 for $100.
1699  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BUYING Starbucks Gift Cards 60% of Value on: June 23, 2015, 01:20:51 AM
I wasn't entirely sure those sellers offering at 15% were totally legitimate, I haven't found one with positive trust and older than newbie haha

But if you know of a more trustworthy one, feel free to point me in the right direction!

regards

There is no such animal as a truly trustworthy source other then a SBX store.  You could even buy from "real" card-reseller sites and have problems. This is like the wild west here but every cowboy is anonymous and hides behind a computer screen somewhere in the world (seems Viet Nam has been quite popular recently).  Where do you think everyone here who will sell you SBX (or any) card get them from despite what they will tell you ?   I've got lots of cards that are good but they all came from sellers here. Paid mostly 15%-25%,  I've also had a bunch of bad ones.  You take your chance.
1700  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BUYING Starbucks Gift Cards 60% of Value on: June 23, 2015, 01:12:11 AM
Have Starbucks Gift Cards you don't need?

I will buy using BTC at 60% of their value. Quick, easy trade. PM or reply to thread to get the ball rolling.

If you have another type of gift card you want to sell,  PM me

Curious as to why would you PAY 60% for SBX cards when there are loads of sellers you can BUY from here and elsewhere SELLING for 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% & 35%?  Sounds like a real bonanza for us. Buy @ 15% sell at 60%. What's the catch?  Cheesy Cheesy
