861  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest way to store Bitcoins? on: October 29, 2015, 04:00:11 PM
Has anyone tried using Trezor? been tempted to buy one but i don't know if it's any good than using online wallet.

I would just go with a Ledger Nano instead. Very affordable and secure in my opinion. Much cheaper than a Trezor too https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products/1-ledger-nano

I am collecting my bitcoin to buy a Ledger hardware wallet.
It is pretty same if we compare the features with Trezor.
It's much cheaper and more people can afford the Ledger price.

I do not know much about hardware wallets. Hardware wallet are dedicated USB devices that can hold private keys electronically and facilitate payments. It is being used by those that did not trust other storage. But I believe in blockchain. So I think I do not need one right now.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of bitcoin on: October 29, 2015, 03:30:02 PM
I think Bitcoin will eventually be replaced. It has some drawbacks like slow transaction times and scalability issues. I'm hoping for Ethereum to be a BTC competitor in a couple of years.

Even some people believe that bitcoin is another way to scam. Internet Fraud might increase due to the easy access to bitcoin. But internet scam is everywhere even before the bitcoin arrival too. So, in technology revolution, we need to control everything.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other cryptocoin. The best? on: October 29, 2015, 03:26:08 PM
I don't think any other crypto currency can replace bitcoin. But some like dogecoin, litecoin can gain traction.

Yes even Litecoin or dogecoin are popular among crypto-currency community, only bitcoin has all the infrastructures required for being serve like a digital money. Bitcoin is the most established crypto-currency. So, Bitcoin is the best crypto-coin.

865  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: good places to hide paper wallet ? on: October 29, 2015, 10:54:04 AM
a good hiding place maybe first put inside a leak proof lunch box like lock & lock, then place inside a fire proof safe like sentry, so no matter what happen (flood, fire, theft) , coins is safe

But setting up fire proof sentry are more costly, instead of spending in those things, we can buy more bitcoin which is good for ourselves as well as for bitcoin community. So we must search for better places to hide our paper wallets.
866  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still safe to buy bitcoin? on: October 29, 2015, 10:43:48 AM
It will fall down eventually. We don't know if it'll be in 350$ or 500$. It's up to you, we can't give you investment advice.

yes prices are at over bough zone when we take the time frame it rallied from $230 to $300 levels. So, buying at over bought area only in some occasions may give profits and mostly not recommended by any analyst.
867  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 29, 2015, 07:22:07 AM

With an available supply of 14,771,150 BTC it takes $4,351,964,840 to yield a price of $ 294.63. To move the price to $8k where are all of these extra billions coming from. Tens of extra billions. You know something we don't?

Bitcoin is over-pumped as it is.

the btc-market do not contains 14,771,150 BTC. Maybe the amount of total btc in circulation worldwide is near to this amount.. So with ~4 billion USD BTC-investment BTC will go up like factor x100 or x1000 easily because market-liquidity is very limited.

And those people who write BTC will never reach X k USD etc. Everything is possible in financial market. Also the cryptocurrencies market.  i think this people must read more mathematical lecture to learn financial economic and market-movement and basic stochiastic.

In reality it only need small changes for market to BTC reach at least 10.000 USD per coin. i know many scenarios where this WILL happen. one example: say 21 million people suddenly become interested in BTC and want to hold min. 1 BTC for long-term investment: I think then this will be the last time BTC being worth less than a house thousand dollar.

NOTICE: This post represents my own opinion and thoughts about the speculation on BTC price. I do not advice anybody to take this information as base for financial investment decisions.

Yes total coins in circulation is much lesser than total mined coins. So, the new money flow into bitcoin investments may take bitcoin prices to new heights. I too strongly believe that bitcoin price will reach $10k levels so soon.
868  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still safe to buy bitcoin? on: October 29, 2015, 07:18:03 AM
If you are ready to wait by still having faith on bitcoin, it's not too late to buy and hold. As per many veterans here, we can see bitcoin prices soon beyond an unimaginable price levels. So, buying now and waiting is recommended.

I have not used any hardware wallets so far. This is because of fear of using new technology for my hard earned bitcoins and secondarily the cost of hardware wallets. May be after your recommendation I will change my opinions and will look for it.
870  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: October 29, 2015, 06:29:46 AM
Even the not believing people also started to use bitcoin like my boss. He said that bitcoin seems like a ponzi, but now he pays online using bitcoin. He explains that there is no point in believing bitcoin to use it for your regular daily uses. I guess only investors need to believe.
871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet? on: October 29, 2015, 06:13:52 AM
the best for me is mycelium on mobile as it is always on my side Smiley

I HIGHLY suggest looking into problems some have had with mobile wallets.  If you are rooted or jailbroken the risk goes up even more.   I would not store more then spending money on on mobile.

Cold storage is a lot better if done right.  And key words are done right.

Yes, when we go for mobile wallet, we must have latest anti-virus installed. Otherwise, there are lot of possibilities for other applications to access our wallet files. That's the reason I never support for mobile wallets.
872  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Miner on Windows Phone on: October 29, 2015, 06:11:21 AM
Is it possible ? Or no i found that app on Windows Store
Yeah its possible to mining on windows phone. Cheesy
But its waste time and energy, you just spent batteries and your income form that its very little.  Cry
Better you join signature campaign and post in windows phone. Tongue

Yes even with powerful computers with latest GPU or CPU with multi core, people are not able to find their mining profitable. So, with a phone, definitely we can not catch the profit with mining. better do faucets, you will see some profits.
873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: October 29, 2015, 06:08:14 AM
well there are several ways of earning real money with bitcoins the best one is to get bitcoins for example by participating in signature campaigns and then sell it on exchange for real money
"real money"... i think you are on the wrong forum.

BTC is real money it's crypto currency vs fiat money.  But both are forms of monetary value.  And of course BTC value changes much more then fiat in most cases.

But the reason BTC is not free is that it's a forum of money.

When a commodity get it's monetary price then we can not get it for free. Usually nothing is free in this world. So, we can not expect bitcoin for free. Even with faucets we get some bitcoin for the work of solving captcha.
874  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: October 29, 2015, 06:05:18 AM
Yes, I do. I earned it all here on the forum. If you're thinking about getting a bitcoin you should before it's too late Wink

Yes with current price appreciations we are going to see lot of changes in faucet earning and in this forum too. This is a usual thing we can expect always with bitcoin price changes. Getting bitcoin is so easy when it's at lower price.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys... I'm having this feeling again on: October 29, 2015, 06:03:01 AM
tl;dr :- Don't keep your hard earned bitcoins in an exchange, no matter how trustworthy it seems, keep them safe in a cold storage where no one else has access to them but you.

I don't own much of them (which I plan to sell them as soon as the price takes off (about $10.000 Tongue). I store them in Blockchain since it has 2FA. I guess it is pretty secure.
I would like that local wallets could have 2FA as well.

No, they're not secure, it's just an illusion of security, you're keeping them in an online wallet which is NOT SAFE, I don't know many times this needs to be told. With cold storage wallet you wouldn't need 2fa.

Always with in our control and access to nobody are the best secured situations for anything in this world and for bitcoin too. So, keeping bitcoin in desktop wallet and getting it disconnected from internet also must be a wise and safer idea.
876  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 29, 2015, 05:59:44 AM
We can not simply ignore faucets, it has many factors influenced with bitcoin ecosystem.
1. Faucets are initial attractions for new comer into bitcoin
2. Today's less amount of satoshi may worth hundreds of dollars in future.
3. Faucets help bitocin to reach many new wallets.
4. Faucet owners buy bitcoin to refill. But users never get enough fund to sell in exchange.
5. Facets are better than PTC sites. Means, bitcoin has refreshed one online industry.

Yes faucets are eternal part of bitcoin environment. Most of the people get into bitcoin for the reason of free money which is still possible only with faucets. Like you said faucets help bitcoin community in many big ways. So, we can not simply ignore faucets.

Faucet are still a busiest bitcoin earning sources. Many faucet owners still need to refill their account some time more than once per day. This means bitcoin community still look for faucets for some free bitcoins by simply solving captchas.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 29, 2015, 05:55:32 AM
I think we are all in agreement that yes Bitcoin needs more advertising.  The problem is who is going to fund the advertising, who is going to make sure the advertising goes into the correct direction.  The question should be, how do we get Bitcoin more advertising, not if we believe it should have more.

There is many methods to advertise Bitcoin, i think the best method is talking about Bitcoin with our relatives not only online but also offline, this can help to make Bitcoin known as real currency, used and exchanged with fiat easily..Bitcoin without doubt need more support

Everything in this world needs some promotions to reach mass. So, bitcoin must need more advertising to make it as main stream of payments. Long back heard making bitcoin advertisements as smart-money or digital-money would attract more people.

I need to agree. Without advertisements we can not get a huge community for bitcoin. Bitcoin would be more successful if it reaches to more people. Same way bitcoin will value more if more adoption of bitcoin is done in each and every business.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2015, 05:51:58 AM
one of the best methods of growing your bitcoins is investing it in reputable casino games, also you might try your luck gambling or participate in well-paid signature campaigns
Trying your luck in gambling never been good idea for grow your bitcoins but we can say investing is some better option

Gambling means always need a luck so it can't be called it as a investing so better keep your coins with you and sell when prices go up

Gambling is not a sure shot way to grow our bitcoins. It may give you negative earning which means instead of growing your bitcoin you may end up in loosing it. Trading or gambling should not be considered as one of the bitcoin growing methods.
879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: October 29, 2015, 05:47:19 AM
To learn about bitcoin I joined here, but I knew I can make bitcoin by using this forum properly....

Same here. Wasted more time in faucets.

I can feel you man, I also used to "waste my time" in faucets before I found this forum Cheesy But here ,you won't waste a time here cuz every earning opportunity is in this forum and also you will learn a lot of new stuffs. Just have fun in this forum and always follow the rules.

Yes this is a common situation most of the people here has faced. Because to get into bitcoin, people first introduce free money to us. So, faucets are first step for every bitcoiner. Need not to worry, those faucet earning also will worth more in future.
880  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the fee to send ? -_- on: October 29, 2015, 05:43:52 AM
i usually just put around 100 bits, 10000 satoshi and it gets like 5 confirmations within an hour.

Yes, as per technical people recommendation, we need to check for current optimal fees to get included in next block or into next 2 or 3 blocks. There are many sites, explorers provide this kind of information for a better setting before we transact.
