No, 2. The instant that 209,999 is found is when things change. Waiting for 210,000 is like celebrating New Year at the end of January 1st.

you spoiled my game Smiley

No he didn't. I'm pretty sure the first block with 25 BTC is 210000.

When the block 210000 appears, I'll send a text message saying "Happy halving day" to everyone I know.

Hmm... For a "successfull" Martingale shouldn't you take the win odds into account?
Like for a 50% win odd you double each time you loose. For a 25% win odd you have to multiply your bet by 4, etc?

For a 25% win odd (4x multiplier) you have to multiply your bet by 1.25.

Does anyone know where can I find robots or small mechanisms to connect with the PC and perform small tasks (walk, click a switch, light up an LED, etc..).
I don't really know what to call this.
869  Economy / Gambling / Re: y4x.com: 1 BTC awarded every block that has a bid on: November 27, 2012, 03:24:44 PM
I'll be fine, I actually don't mind if I use up all my bitcoins doing this.  It was a fun program to write pooling for block information against my local bitcoind.  I don't want to exchange them for $ through an exchange and I really don't have anything I want to buy with bitcoins.

Is this where we sacrifice a virgin at the altar of Satoshi?

Yes, are you applying?

Nothing at all, except the hundreds of thousands of dollars it would take
Or Euros, maybe. Just maybe.

Hello everyone, I used a website called paypal to bitcoin (iocoloradocentral.com) 3 days ago and it worked pretty well, i will probably be buying from them again soon. Anyways, just wanted to share my experience. Please dont flame me because im new.

WHAT WE DO
We take paypal payments and convert them into bitcoins, for a flat 25% fee.

IS IT EVER LESS THAT 20%?
Yes! for orders over 500 USD we go down to 15%

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Seems legit...

I think the odd is 1 000 000 000 to 1.

9 digits, 10 possibilities (0, 1, ..., 9)

10^9 = 1 000 000 000

Can you also add the option to see prices in Euros (€)?
