After another lengthy downtime, I've brought http://dispenser.bitbank.me/ back up again. It is on a host that I closely monitor now, so downtime should be minimal.

Cheers,
Garrett

and again Garr, the questions still remain?

How is this site being funded?  Solely on donations from us or will advertisement buff up the pool or what.

Also, it shows last activity of back in june?    You might want to update that to show that the site is alive, more folks might be interested in it that way.

Solely on donations now, as the ads generate virtually 0 revenue.

Thank you for the answer garr.  Yah I have a feeling many of the site owners are finding that about the ads.
People are great at 'looking' and 'clicking' but never buying.  Merchants are not going to pour money into ads that have no ROI.
and the get paid to industry is just rife with that, which is why most places won't advertise here.

Many free Bitcoin faucets (e.g. Daily Bitcoins and CoinAd) don't urge their users to click ads and probability to win a prize does not depends if a user visited sponsor's website or not. So these clicks must be genuine.

Anyone else experienced this with the Know a Bit More site?

There is a problem with your [ Know a Bit More ] site. It happened yesterday with the Bitcoin Oz site/question and it is happening now with the Dragon's Tale question.

I answer the question correctly, because I did it before, and then choose the thumbs-up button to submit the answer and then it stays on the loading screen with the tumbling-boxes graphic. I let it run yesterday for several minutes to see if it would eventually go on to the next page, but it didn't. It is stuck at that page as I type this. I end up having to reload the page and then get some error message and don't get paid for that question. Yesterday I only got credit for 1 out of 3 questions because of this. Today it is doing it on the first question I answered... I will try the next two questions to see if things might work for them...

The 2nd session was the Dragon's Tale site again: it worked ( so it must not be tied to one particular site/question ).

The 3rd session is the Bitcoin Oz site and I answered the question right and submitted it and it is stuck again...

I reload your site and check on the status of the address I used ( one of the winners in the newbie draw: 1E9gnhT4DY1gPxDFNg1ptR3Z5RCzmGchJr ) and confirm that address only got credit for that 1 out of 3 sessions.

I hope you get this fixed.

I'd like to add MinecraftCC's "Mine For Bitcoins" program to the list.  More information is available here:  http://www.minecraftcc.com/index.php?threads/information-about-getting-paid-to-mine.4613/

No restrictions!  It's basically a faucet site that requires activity on the server in order to be paid, but the more activity, the higher the payment.

I have been talking with the know a bit more site operator.  He is a regular in DT.  He has found the bug and corrected it with his site that was giving some folks problems with that oz site ad.
All should be working properly now.

speaking of sites.

Bitvisitor really needs to add a report bad site button.

that one ad for the government grants is a filthy POS with framebreakers and all kinds of shit and needs to be removed but there is no way to report it that I have seen.
Any site that will NOT let you X out your browser and throws pops at you,  are you sure you want to leave, click here,  wait, check this first.  FUCK YOU COCKSUCKER and your site.

The only problem is that Dragon's Tale is the only site that is advertising with him at the moment.

Bitvisitor keeps displaying tagpad's blog posting which states they give away 0.0001 per bookmark, but I've never seen them pay out. And they also disabled comments on their blog and there's no contact info on their site.
