What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?
Of course, platforms to verify projects can help, but the verification process itself will take time and won't be 100% correct either. So I don't think you can get rid of scam completely, but it could be worth the effort to reduce their numbers.

The not buyer-funded ones could be quite rare, but unfortuntately there are no "official numbers" on that matter as far as I know. Historically the premium on those coins is quite low though, so don't expect a huge markup from the BTC+Fork values. I would guess max 10% markup is possible currently.

When Doge came out, everybody thought this was only a temporary phenomenon. Then it exploded in the beginning of this year. Somehow Shiba Inu is taking the same path: Currently I think it must be a hype and it can only be temporary, but who knows, maybe it will be established in the next years.

Since I want to know if this is a good way to earn stable passive income similar to how I read you can earn passive income with GUSD on gemini or usdc on nexo/blockfi etc.
Ah ok, so you basically want to know the return of the past year. I don't know if such information can be found anywhere (unless somebody put his money there and can see the statistics now, as you said) There is some information for the last 60days here: http://dev.pywaves.org/neutrino/According to this you would have got 10% for USDN Staking. I think this is a pretty good estimate for what you have gotten for the whole year as well. The APY for USDN was hovering in the 6%-15% region in the last months. Depending on how many risks you want to take with your investment you could also check out the other investment possibilities in the Waves universe, such as liquidity providing (Swop.fi, waves.exchange, LP token), algorithmic trading (Lambo token), lending (Vires.finance)

I own the Lealana coin you speak of currently at Stack's Bowers. I just thought I would clarify something due to the fact there is sometimes confusion not just here, but also elsewhere regarding the .10 Lealana Silver Bitcoin mintage numbers. There were a total of 2,000 silver .10 Bitcoins minted. Of those 2,000, only 500 had black addresses (the rest were green). Of those 500 with black addresses, only 10 were ALSO marked "Buyer Funded" at the top above the "B" on the hologram. So yes, it is 1 of only 10 issued. One more interesting note that Stacks Bowers did not mention about the coin, is that because it was funded "Pre-fork", It also has all the forks on it, such as Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Silver and Bitcoin Gold. Yes Steeley, this coin is amazing! Ha, Ha! I am saddened it will soon be gone, it truly is irreplaceable.
Thanks for the additional infos. This sounds like a truly rare specimen. It is unfortunate that smoothie never disclosed mintage number (or any futher information on that matter). Good luck with the auction, this coin is unfortunately out of my price range.

In time do you guys think that SOL will overtake ETH in market cap? Why or why not in your opinion? Does SOL have more potential/ room to grow ?
SOL grew very fast to quite a large cryptocoin, maybe a bit too fast. One day it might overtake ETH, but I don't think it will happen in the near future as ETH is more established and not standing still

I am on both, but for fees i think i pick on BSC. Especially nowadays there are a lot of tokens which created with a lot of variation of network. So people not only tied in ERC20 tokens only and can pick token which only need small fees to made transaction.
Of course fee-wise BSC wins, even though in some far future ETH might be cheaper again. The question is also whether one wants a more centralized platform (BSC) vs a more de-centralized one (ETH)

Gaming is a new hype now, but this way of making money doesn't match to everybody.
Yea, just looking at the number of new threads popping up, this seems to be the "next big thing" after ICOs, DeFi and NFTs. I am still sceptical whether it can gain much momentum, but maybe I am too old already for it Just looking at the teenagers playing their pay-to-win games on the bus, it is a big market. But it remains txo be seen whether it becomes big in crypto. Anyway it might not hurt to look at some of the smaller projects and invest a bit...

Stablecoins are the very definition of an IOU. It only exists to represent something else. It barely even qualifies as crypto in my mind. I'd argue that more people embracing IOUs is wholly antithetical to success for crypto and that this Emin Sirer character might be a bit of a pillock.
Yea I also would not consider Stablecoins as a "pure cryptocurrency". Stablecoins will always need some underlying asset which probably is managed in a central manner. Actually it is pretty odd that they appear in rankings such as CMC...

I can see definitely see some interesting suggestions here but also many "Hypecoins" that won't make it to the end of the year. Definitely do your own research if you want to do some longer term investing and only invest what you can afford to lose
Also token price should not be the main focus. I know many newbies like optically cheap tokens with a price of <$0.1, but in the end it I would only look at the marketcap and general token distribution. Depending on that a token valued $1000 could be actually cheaper than another one at $0.1 if there are fewer tokens in circulation

How many Inus have to come to existence before people don't fall for this stuff anymore? Is there any true innovation here? All I can see is some new token with generic rules and a dog in the logo for publicity I am looking forward to the next bear market so that all those tokens can do a -99.9% and disappear in the void

ging doch schon ganz schnell und heute wurde es veröffentlicht. das 15 spotlight projekt nennt sich Cryowar (CWAR) und hat bereits heute schon mit der subscription angefangen Participants must have KCS holdings of at least 100 KCS, where their final allocation of the new token is determined by the portion of their KCS holdings against the total KCS holdings by all participating users. To ensure a fair allocation for all participants, there will be a set hard cap for the token allocation per user.

This is a buyer funded coin, but it was evidently loaded by smoothie as written in the COA. Just an important data point if you are interested in tracking what the premium on this coin is. For now, $7000 is not much over the load value.
Has the bidding even started? It says on the page "Live bidding starts Nov 25", so maybe the $7000 is just the starting price? In the meantime BTC climbed up to $68k and tends further upwards. $7k could be well below face value by Nov 25

If study Solana, then I can highlight the following factors that influenced its success: 1. Fundamental project 2. Strongest venture funds 3. Strong community Based on this, several projects can be distinguished that have the same factors: NEAR Protocol, Avalanche, Cosmos, Elrond, (also can add Polkadot and Cardano, but these projects are already in the top10)
The 3 points you listed are essential, but there are also others. Sometimes all it takes is pure luck or good publicity and marketing. SOL rose very fast very high. This also means that a completely new project could do something similar in a very short period of time under the right circumstances. It is impossible to predict. Invest in different small projects that you find convincing and hope for the best, but apart from that you can't do more

price rise more on ethereum in the last 7 days ,does't mean can flip bitcoin in price and capitalization ! good for holders yes because in the long term the price will rise high but still will not be able to flip bitcoin in the present or future ,regarding the price an cap of bitcoin will always be a leader
Yea, price movement over 7 days is no indication for the future. However, I think ETH is able to overtake BTC in the long run. I don't think this will de-value BTC in any way, it will remain the first crypto and also the most de-centralized one. Also ETH will have to measure with other emerging smart contract platforms like SOL in the long run.
