861  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BIP39 mnemonic phrase. on: July 02, 2023, 03:46:36 PM
Isn't it because BIP39 mnemonic phrase is somewhat a friendlier way to remember the private keys or something? You cannot determine it just basing on the seed phrase itself I think unless you input it into the wallet software that you have.
862  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Web3 firms are spending up to $25M on HK crypto licenses on: July 02, 2023, 12:25:07 PM
That is how much important that thing is to them. The legality and maintenance of their possible business and knowing that it's legal in Hong Kong and not in other countries. I think that goes to show how much is going on in the industry and how many people have that capacity to buy and procure licenses.
863  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 01, 2023, 04:36:38 PM
If that were to happen to me and become financially free and no need to anymore find myself working, it's best to find something that I would do that would help the world to be better.

Having something less to worry about will make it easier and have the essence to be more useful to anything because you can focus  to it 100%.

How about  you OP? What would you do?
864  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 01, 2023, 08:45:34 AM
I do hope people find a way to pay off their debt someway over the other. Making sure that they are going through the necessary action in order for them to pay what they owe to someone. It's all about discipline and how they are going to make it work.

Eternal debt occurs if you pay a debt with another debt. It's going to be that endless circle that nobody should be in. If you have that kind of situation, you need to read the link posted by OP.

It's really a problem once lives are involved. It's hard to control, but it's better to support someone rather than allow them to do that to themselves.

Try to avoid unnecessary loans if you don't have any good use for it.
865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need a book recommendation on: July 01, 2023, 06:02:30 AM
There are a lot of trading books that you can see. It's easily searchable on Google. But for me, these are the books that I have read and helped me have a great approach to trading.

- Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline, and a Winning Attitude by Mark Douglas
- Trading for a Living: Psychology, Trading Tactics, Money Management by Alexander Elder

Those are the books I've read and they are very insightful to what trading could do for you and how you could approach it.
866  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you start your posting life as a newbie??? only for full mem, Sr and leg on: July 01, 2023, 05:54:09 AM
It's quite easy if you are into posting and typing a lot. Personally, it's very secondary to consider that I could earn from signature campaigns and not so much towards making the account level higher than I could earn. It's important that you understand that you are bringing value to the forum and making sure that you are not repeating everything or something. Do not spam and you will do great.

Being morally good in terms of posting and understanding the rules here will get you far. Reading a lot and understanding it would save you from all the hassle.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: July 01, 2023, 04:06:38 AM
Max is off to the races again, Ferrari seems like they did a bit better. We are going to end up with just a single practice due to this new method, 2Q and one sprint, so that is going to be basically like 4 total races that matters in the end. I guess it is going to be fine for Max, but if Ferrari could do second and third best on these tries and the race this week then it means they have done something right along the way.
Upon watching the qualifying highlights, it seems that they still have a great shot with all the things they are doing, knowing that Leclerc and Sainz are in the top 3. They are going to probably be improving more or something or bad luck can come again? We will see.

It's like now, every week and GP some team is really improving but RB is still far ahead. I can't wait to watch the race.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: June 28, 2023, 07:58:30 AM
You know that it's with Australia right? If ever it were to happen, nothing is going to happen in Bitcointalk because its cryptocurrencies, and probably the article talks about the ones in major ads or something. Unless it has something to do more with enticing or something. I think signature campaigns are a sign that they exist and are not enticing ads or something.
869  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk forum vs OpenAI - ChatGPT on: June 28, 2023, 07:40:08 AM
Demis Hassabis, the ceo of DeepMind (a subsidiary of google) says that their new ki Gemini will be more powerful than OpenAI's ChatGPT.
as the wired.com article also states, Gemini will be based on the technology and techniques of AlphaGo, which was developed by DeepMind in 2016.

Google DeepMind’s CEO Says Its Next Algorithm Will Eclipse ChatGPT
Demis Hassabis says the company is working on a system called Gemini that will tap techniques that helped AlphaGo defeat a Go champion in 2016.

I agree with the article that it's about time developers find a way to have those safeguards. The progress I think is becoming fast, and it's about time that maybe it could do something else. Having more powerful AI would mean it's good for development but it could be the opposite too. Let's see what is in store for us :O
870  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Overview] Bitcointalk Contests And Giveaways on: June 28, 2023, 05:11:00 AM
This could be something like the Signature campaign thread and maybe other members could help update this as well for a good reference. Thanks for starting this OP.
871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My hard experience with Bittrex, be aware of their validate request on: June 27, 2023, 07:37:00 PM
I hope you can get back what is yours. I think most CEX are now facing the problem of regulation, and your account might be a part of it or something that is affected. It's going to be hard if the users are not notified or something. I remember that there are notifications before anything else. Might you have missed it?
872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners Should Follow These To Be A Good Price Predictor on: June 27, 2023, 07:31:06 PM
Your take doesn't necessarily mean that if you do any stuff with the things OP things listed, it's still no guarantee you will get any of the prices right. Being an indicator of price isn't necessarily equate to just following it. It's still up to the market.
873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One or more trading strategies, which one do you prefer? on: June 27, 2023, 07:17:11 PM
This is more of a combination with me regarding the indicators used for the strategy. It is made up of different indicators forming basically one system.

One strategy isn't enough since there are a lot of different market situations like a bear market, bullish market, sideways market, etc. It would be best if you had different strategies for that.

That said, multiple strategies would be ideal, and automating it is the best.
874  Economy / Lending / Re: [W] 0.025BTC loan. 1 month. Repay 0.0275BTC on: June 27, 2023, 02:15:33 AM
I just canīt public my colleteral here online. People will abuse it.
I just read your posts and it's just too much text and unnecessary. Can you emphasize how people will abuse a link?
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 25, 2023, 03:21:36 PM
Hey! thanks for asking, everybody is throwing his own opinion here (as expected, because I made a direct question in the OP) but nobody asked for the source of info that led to this topic, and I think that everybody should read about it before making his own conclusions.
I'm really interested in it what could make you think about it? Upon reading it it's based on Daniel Kahneman's book, Thinking Fast and Slow. I have read it and I do remember some key points that it has.

I like how the author applied the risk effect and how it makes us think about the risk we are facing. It's definitely about framing it as well as how it is presented to us and how we are going to approach a certain "possibility" not knowing the real probability.

It's one of the reasons definitely why Insurance and lotteries exist lol.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold-Backed cryptocurrency with Passive Income on: June 25, 2023, 08:19:30 AM
You do know what happened to the Gold-Backed Fiat System right? I think that's what's gonna happen to this, be obsolete or something.

If you are introducing something new, it's better to put it in the Announcement section.

877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 25, 2023, 08:07:57 AM
I have recently read an interesting essay on this topic, but it was already explained it to me a few years ago.
Can you point out to what essay that could be OP?

I know that there are a lot of people who are hoping to win the lottery and they are always buying tickets for their satisfaction. I personally know a friend whose mom is an addict and you could see that in the lottery sheet that you have. It's really a lot and I'm not sure why she is keeping it. It's basically trash at that point.

What she doesn't realize is that she is just wasting money on that hope but it's her choice.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disappearance of cash and bitcoin as an alternative? on: June 25, 2023, 03:37:00 AM
It shouldn't completely disappear, possibly in our lifetime. Many companies have already been going with paperless things, but it's still inevitable not to have any paper when running a business. It's always going to be that thing that exists. So in terms of money and currency, I don't think we will reach a point where there's no cash.
879  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Lottery Program - Win $10,000 on: June 24, 2023, 04:59:30 PM
That's easy to post and anything. It's hard to prove that you can really push through with it.

It's best if you do the following if you are true to your word.
- Hire an escrow and put the money there
- Show an address that has that prize money
- Sign that address

I think with that you can gather some participants or something.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: June 24, 2023, 02:44:21 PM
I'm still on the rocks on checking and participating in airdrops as to thinking that it may lead to unexpected things happening and the effort done is not worth it. I'm still on the rocks on it to do it. I want to follow you on your opinion about this.
I'm still indecisive about this. I've been following the recent airdrops, as I can see, they really make the conditions more difficult. I respect the friends who work for the airdrop, but as I said, they really make the conditions more difficult every day, and as a result, it is not possible for you to get a definite reward. However, people continue to do arb and sui, as in the title, really well done to some hunters. These projects were really GEM, I guess there weren't many projects that shared airdrops like this in the past year.
How do they make it hard and making it difficult everyday? Is there any video that gives information about it? Maybe we can make money on something like this.
