Why would I want to watch a youtube video of a college girl when I can just download porn where they give me what I want right away?

I am of course talking about lesbians.
8702  Economy / Speculation / Re: Woo hoo Silver smack down on: December 20, 2012, 11:30:31 PM
It has certainly, but the idea of gold and silver is that you hold them for a long time so you can get some real profits out of it, short term holding isn't going to cut it, rest assured though the inflation that will come from federal reserves money printing will send the prices sky rocketing again I predict gold at least will go higher than $2000 because the scale of the crash looks like it could well be far worse than the 2008/2009 crash.
8703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Woo hoo Silver smack down on: December 20, 2012, 08:46:51 PM
Holding some Gold/Silver and Oil stocks over here, I should have bought some high volume ones but I'm sure my time will come in the next few weeks, but yeah silvers going to shoot up, along with all of them.
8704  Other / Off-topic / Re: So December 21st is almost here, or already here... on: December 20, 2012, 08:21:54 PM
World ending? Things are just getting better and better for me, now if only I could move out of the damn house.
8705  Other / Off-topic / Re: Game money system on: December 20, 2012, 12:46:54 PM
I voted for monthly payments, but games like Guild Wars 2 have proven you can do it through the ordinary single payment systems, anything else I think is pointless and that's because all these micro-transactions etc. do is offer you up in game cheats for multiplayer, so when you pay for these things you're essentially going to end up paying for some silly overpowered piece of crap that cost ( usually ) twice as much than if you were just paying a monthly fee to the company that made the game.

Any form of micro-transaction is just poor business practice for a games company because it completely ruins the point of playing the game at all, oh and DLC content like Shogun 2 Total War making you pay for blood is just fucking outrageous, we used to have this excellent thing called expansion packs that worked really well for offering up extra content that was worthwhile, let's go back to that.
8706  Other / Off-topic / Pencil Animation Software on: December 20, 2012, 12:42:44 PM
I'm shamelessly going to plug this, but last night out of shear boredom I was looking at animation and found myself yet again getting completely infuriated with programs like flash and others that mimicked it because they bought annoyances with them that were completely unnecessary and then I found what must be the most amazing piece of open source animation software I have ever seen. It's hard to describe what it does that's so fucking amazing, but it basically takes all the annoyances that you have to deal with in the normal 2D Animation software until you're pretty much left with just one button you have to press every time you draw something. It pretty much does what it says and it's something that was designed to make life much easier for artists rather than tech people so pretty much in order to make animation now all you need is a pretty steady hand to make sure you get the lines all correct etc.

Seriously, try it, you can just play around and animate scribbles, this software deserves far more attention than it has received so far, I'm slowly obsessing over it more and more now so I'll stop before I go into a full page long rant about how amazing it is the potential power of this thing is just fucking awesome Cheesy

It sucks Sad this will just mean the death of conventional currencies though if they refuse to adapt, that's my line of thought on this.
8708  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I think I'm actually going to boycott mainstream televised news on: December 20, 2012, 11:37:28 AM
I know it's a comedy show, but The Daily Show has to be the only lot I've ever trusted when it comes to this sort of thing and they're all perfectly honest about they're beliefs, plus it's fucking hilarious to watch them make fools out of politicians and reporters, it just shows off what a complete circus it all is.
8709  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I think I'm actually going to boycott mainstream televised news on: December 20, 2012, 11:21:55 AM
I don't mind Russia Today in small doses, but let's be honest Tongue They are RUSSIA today, so of course they're going to take every chance they can to make America look bad, that said I have no problem with that, I've really gotten sickened by that country in particular lately.
8710  Economy / Economics / Re: The Collapse of The American Dream Explained in Animation on: December 20, 2012, 01:58:59 AM
Didn't you hear? They're beginning to let people run businesses now Tongue

Bigger countries has nothing to do with statistics per 100,000.

Flawed argument? Where do you think these per 100,000 statistics come from? How can you compare the two? For instance, if I were to compare a 100,000 from the U.S and another 100,000 from the UK I would need to know where all these people lived, what the crime rate was like in their area generally ( more statistics on these individuals ) and things like whether or not they had mental problems. It isn't flawed in the slightest, people are relying too much on funny numbers that don't make much sense in order to make their arguments, but then again, I shouldn't expect any less from people who are statistic illiterate and politically biased.

The one thing that has stood out to me personally is the fact that the majority of the time the people who committed these gun massacres had mental health problems.

USA is 386.3 per 100,000

The problem with using this statistic and trying to compare the UK with the US is that the US is in fact a bigger country ( by a lot ) and will of course have more crime because of the larger population that comes with the size of the land, the same can also be said in reverse for the UK, because of the smaller land and smaller population the crime rate will be lower, plus it is easier to police a smaller group of people than a larger one. I sadly must conclude that this will be the result of any debate, lots of flawed statistics, flawed reasoning and no realistic solutions offered which is why I find this debate so stupid, it's a bit like news organisations that make conclusions based on a poll of 5000 people and assume that is what the rest of the country thinks, no thank you, I'm more intelligent than that.

Contact Gun Owners of America to see if they will accept Bitcoin contributions:
http://www.gunowners.org/j-contribute.htm

While the NRA was silent, the GOA rep on CNN Piers Morgan show had the best anti-ban arguments I've seen:
http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2012/12/19/pmt-ct-shooting-larry-pratt-heated-gun-debtae.cnn

He is actually the only one I've seen on TV who correctly answered the popular gun-ban question: "Give me one, JUST ONE, good reason why anyone needs an 'assault rifle' with a high-capacity magazine?"

I'd rather not sit through the whole thing... What was the answer given?

I'm barely getting involved in these stupid debates any more, but I would only feel comfortable with an assault weapons ban if the police and army couldn't use them either, however as has been shown by the state, they want everyone to not have them but themselves. This is actually a much wider topic of discussion than you might think especially if you look at the situation with Nuclear Weapons for example, all the superpowers are calling for disarmament and a ban, but do they actually do it? Of course not, I don't want to see this happen but I bet you if there was any sort of armed and organised rebellion in modern countries with modern fire power they wouldn't hesitate to use them on anyone they think is a threat.

No one does need assault rifles, it's true, governments don't need them either, but they still cling to them and they immediately attack anyone else who 'might' have them and that's what this is really all about in my view, they are doing nothing but being the opportunistic cunts and taking advantage of the situation just like with 9/11.
8715  Other / Off-topic / Re: What does Off-Topic think about selling invites for BTC? on: December 19, 2012, 08:29:07 PM
lol you can if you want to but I'll brand people who do it morons for doing so, if you want to make a living trading you should look at trading commodities or stocks, either that or set up a store and find someone to supply you with stock at a cheap price, unfortunately setting up a business costs money either way but that's life Sad
8716  Other / Off-topic / Re: I'm going to try learning C++ then maybe something else on: December 19, 2012, 08:25:13 PM
I dunno really, I wish I could learn it, but every time I try to it's just one fucking headache after another lol Tongue if it's explained to me bit by bit though I could struggle through it perhaps but I think I'd be better off designing a game rather than trying to code one which is my ultimate aim. My brain is definitely more towards Art and Economics than it is towards the maths area with all those damn equations and everything and of course I'm much better at making things with my hands.
8717  Other / Off-topic / Re: What does Off-Topic think about selling invites for BTC? on: December 19, 2012, 07:24:06 PM
It's as stupid as selling pirated games for BTC.
8718  Economy / Economics / Re: The Collapse of The American Dream Explained in Animation on: December 19, 2012, 05:03:10 PM
What misinterpretations or mistakes are presented in this video, if any? Serious question, I don't know all the facts myself.

There are barely any, he's probably someone who just doesn't like the truth very much Tongue

And it is far more professional than any of the three networks.

Cheesy I'm sure it may seem professional to you guys who are used to the crap like Fox News and MSNBC but you'll get tired of the stupid puns and blatant nationalist propaganda soon enough.
