I hate friendly games because it's tough to pick a winner because you don't know which team has come to play and which team has not. I lost my parlay bet thanks to Belgium loosing to Spain 2-0 I had them European handicap +1 and I thought that was a good bet as they were playing at home. Belgium always let me down even in the Euro, they have one of the best teams in the world at the moment but play poor at times.

8783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International match prediction(qualifiaction world cup, euro, asia ,african more) on: September 01, 2016, 05:15:28 AM
I have just put a parlay bet on the world cup qualifiers. There are a lot of good games over the next couple of days with some good odds on some of the favorites but for now I just put a parlay bet on 6 games.

Australia v Iraq => Aus win

Japan v UAE => Japan win

South Korea v China => South win

Ecuador v Brazil => Brazil +1

Argentina v Uruguay => Argentina +1

Paraguay v Chile => Chile +1

Odds 5.02

I put 0.01 BTC on this parlay. The south American games are a little tougher so that's why I went with European handicap +1 with those 3 games which are still good odds.

Has anyone found out why the wallet on Yobit is still maintenance? It's been like this for too long now and I'm not getting any answer from the chat box and no reply to my support ticket which has been 3 days now. I'm really starting to get frustrated with Yobit and there games they play with POS coins.
8785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 31, 2016, 11:04:48 PM
Australia played brilliant innings batsmen get started with very aggressive mode and made this victory one sided and also win this ODI series too, that is wonderful comeback after losing test series and it looking it's very strong team in short format of cricket.
Austrailia is always fav in ODI match. And today's game it was superb bowling in the first half and fantastic batting in second half. They deserve this victory. Yes after a very bad performance from Test match this is excellent come back from Austrailia. And also they won the series. Congratulation team Australia.

Yes most times then not Australia are the favorites in ODI matches. As I said in a previous post they needed to win this ODI series to make up for the bad performance in the test match series and they would of wanted to make up for it winning the ODI series which they have done easily in my opinion. The middle order has been the rock for Australia through out the ODI series and they stood up again. A great all round performance from Australia and they deserved the series win after a tough test series loss. Congrats to Australia and now they can look forward to the T20 2 match series.

Hi Michelle,

The spring carnival is about to start in Melbourne Australia and there are many big races like the Caulfield Guineas, Caulfield Cup, Cox Plate, Melbourne Cup, Crown Oaks and the Emirates Stakes. I was just wondering will DirectBet be taking bets on any of these races? as they are well known around the world now with so many internationals coming to try and win these big races. Also Sydney have some big races leading up to the Melbourne races. I hope that you will be taking bets for these races.

Yes we will be taking bets on most of these races during the day of the race.

Thanks for answering my questions Michelle, I'm happy to hear that DirectBet will be taking bets on the Melbourne Cup carnival. That is my favorite time of the year having a bet on the Melbourne Cup and other big races like the Cox Plate and Caulfield Cup and now it will be even better as I can now bet in crypto currencies. I can't wait for it to start!

i just seen and check the wealthy site hope it will be opening soon great way to have some fun while playing your luck,.

I agree and the site looks great, I see they have a horse racing game "At The Races" I think this game will be fun and entertaining and I can't wait until this site is ready to start playing. You don't see many horse racing games where you can gamble so this one will be unique.
8788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 31, 2016, 05:08:41 AM
Australia can win the series today in the 4th ODI match against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka will need to win to keep the series alive for them. If Australia can preform like they did in the last ODI I think they will win. I put a small bet on Australia to win @1.71

Yobit still staking the coins? when will the wallet work? Smiley

I have a feeling that's what they are doing and not just with this coin but with a few POS coins. I'm waiting for this coin and a couple of other POS coins to withdraw from Yobit. Also the strange thing is we can't even deposit coins so I believe they are staking coins.

Thanks for everyone's help. All working. just a question.

I created my wallet in the browser but now when i use the wallet GUI i can't link it. I can't load that wallet i already have. When I add a wallet it will create a new one.

1. is there anyway to set my wallet up in the GUI interface.
2. what is the point of having more than one wallet?

Burst asset exchange is one of a kind and it's good it's somewhat reviewed as if it's open to too many people a lot more scammers will show up.

You're welcome my friend and I'm just glad your issue was sorted out. As I said just buy the Burst team assets for now as they are the most trusted assets on the exchange. We can also trust Vector and Margin assets as they have been doing very well for a while now and I have never had any problems with them. Good luck with growing your assets and burst coins.
8791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Open 2016 - Thoughts and Tips on: August 30, 2016, 11:02:31 PM
I actually like Kerber a lot to win the US Open she has been playing some good tennis this year and currently is in good form leading into the US Open so I will be putting a small stake on her to win @8.60 but I still think Serena Williams @2.44 is the one to beat playing on home court. Madison Keys is also another good one at odds currently @15.5 on DirectBet which is where I got all the odds from.
Kerber is not that good in form , are you still remember she lost the gold medal to a no.34 ranked Monica Puig in olympic game few weeks ago? Actually i think Monica Puig could still work the miracle in the US open too. She is so exciting to show the gold medal isn't won by luck. Betting on this dark horse with Monica Puig @ 30 odds.
Olympics isn't a good form guide leading into a Grand Slam as most players don't worry too much about the Olympics. Before that in Grand Slams she has been playing good tennis so that's what I'm going by. I agree that Monica Puig is at good odds @30 and will most likely get far into the tournament but a Grand Slam is much tougher then an Olympics.

Well Monica Puig just lost in the first round in straight sets and just as I said Olympics don't really mean much and this just proves that you can't follow the Olympic form into a Grand Slam event. Kerber made it through due to the other player retiring.

Gasquet was a shock first round loss, apart from that all the other top players have made it through. Nadal, Isner, Monfils and it looks like Tsonga is also going to go through as he is currently winning 2 sets to 0
Sorry for misjudged about Monica Puig , i followed his twitter , she was so excited about this US Open , sad to see she lost the early 1st round to Saisai Zheng.
Tennis world never stop suprise us , sometimes i think some matches are been fixed.

Simon G. (Fra)      VS     Stepanek R. (Cze)
I'm not sure about this Gilles Simon , worry about his inconsistent performance.
It should be end tied , maybe there will be 5 set. But i think Stepanek will grab a win.

It's okay mate and I agree that I also believe that some matches are fixed or certain players loose sets on purpose and then come back and win the match. With what has been happening in tennis lately on match fixing I wouldn't put it past any player to agree to fix a match if it means a big payday for that particular player.

Hi all, hope you're all well and enjoying your summers (or winters if you're in the southern hemisphere). I'd a few things to take care of IRL in order to clear the way for another uninterrupted stretch working on MOIN. We've renewed discovermoin.com and the hosting for another twelve months and there'll be a wallet update next week with a few bug fixes and UI improvements. Till then.

My wallet is getting a little sluggish . I have been staking from day 1 and I have 55,000 transactions. Is there something I can do or just transfer to a different wallet

Are you on Windows by any chance? Someone else reported an issue with the transaction tables in the wallet not updating on Win (similar situation, long-term staker). He did as you suggested and moved it to a new wallet and the problems went away, so if it's getting bad enough to be frustrating that'd probably be the quickest way to sort it. I'll take a look in the mean time to see if we can prevent it becoming an issue in future iterations of the wallet.

On that subject, the wallet upgrade's been pushed back a few days as the SDC devs have fixed at least one significant bug since I last checked the repo. I won't put a date on it, but it'll be done soon enough. After that we can maybe all have a chat about where we're at and where we're headed.

Thanks for the update dev and I look forward to the update on where MOIN is at and where it is heading. I still check in here every now and then to see how things are going. Even though there hasn't been much action in this topic I know that the dev is working hard behind the scenes.

I won my parlay bet tonight but I got a scare with Madison keys who didn't play very well and at one stage I thought she would loose the match in the second set tie break when Alison Riske was on serve to win the match but lucky for me Keys ended up winning the tie break and winning the 3rd set easily. I agree Rubberduckie I also hate betting on favorites in the first round.

if i withdraw some burst from the exchange i bought before i send my first burst will that be an issue?

Just send a few Burst coins to test it out say for example 20 coins, don't send the full amount just in case you don't receive them. May I ask which wallet you are using?

I just tried to withdraw some KR from Yobit and I got a message saying that "Withdrawal for such currency is temporary off" but it says that the wallet is online (920431 blocks) so what is going on? I am getting this same thing with a few cryptocurrencies. I tried to get an answer from the troll box but nothing.

Today I received my payout for the Burstize asset, thanks dev. I see that the traffic has increased which gave us a nice payout for this asset. I just reinvested the payout back into more assets and purchased some Burstaker assets as they are cheap at the moment under 100 Burst coins. And hopefully as Burst gets bigger and people start joining the community the more the Burstize asset payout will grow. I'm glad I bought into this asset.
i love to learn about this mate can i join even i have small amount of btc? sorry for a noob question but seeing you giving positive
feed means that you already satisfied with the project and the possible earnings. good luck mate

Yes of course because Burst coins are still very cheap just over 60 sats each. The assets will vary in price and all assets are priced in Burst coins. So for example currently there are some Burstaker assets selling for 90 Burst coins so in BTC value that would be around 5,400 sats per asset. I am very satisfied with Burst and I truly believe it's one of the best investments you could ever make but now is the time to get in before this really starts to take off. Be sure to visit the Burst forum as there is a lot of information there and many members willing to guide you. http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/

are you mining it too?

No I am not mining Burst but I am thinking about it. At the moment I just prefer to buy my Burst coins from the exchanges and then invest them into assets. At the moment I am investing into Burstaker and Bsilver assets only because they are a reasonable price at the moment. My goal is to try and own 1% in each of the Burst dev teams assets, this is my number 1 goal right now with this coin and then I plan to buy into other assets which I have done already but right now my main focus is on getting to that 1% in each of the Burst teams assets.

Okay, so now I'm back from my vacations, and willining again to discuss around my assets.

I had the idea to create beside the main sports betting asset, which may be a bit random on payment, another asset dedicated to betting on PSG, which, beside being my favourite team, is an all-star team in a low grade championship, the Ligue 1. This asset would be much safer, with steadier payments but less frequent though.

I'd like to gather feelings of people about it before issuing it.

As I have said before I like the idea of this asset and i would buy into it. I think you will get a better response from the Burst community if you post this on the Burst forum as that's where I see all new assets posted.

that is very interesting. how do you confirm the assets aren't a scam?

If you are worried about getting scammed then I suggest you just stick to buying the Burst team assets as we can trust them a lot more then the others. I'm not saying the other assets are scams because a lot of them are not and some are very good assets as I own a few of the other assets from other members. Also you can invest a small amount into the other assets if you don't feel confident and invest a large amount into the Burst team assets. I own apart of all 5 of the Burst team assets and a few other assets.
8799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AFL ( Australian Football ) 2016 Finals Series Prediction Thread on: August 30, 2016, 05:03:25 AM
Again I saw a similar thread but at least it looks good turning it into several parts
It would be better if we look at the news related to this league not only prediction as in the other thread

No worries mate, I'll try my best at giving detailed information on each game and team/s so people out there can make up their own minds when placing bets. The key most times with AFL betting is which players are playing and who might not be playing. Home ground advantage sometimes plays a factor but not as much as say soccer. Next season I'll be starting a topic on AFL predictions and betting as I have done very well betting on this sport and did very good on the weekend with getting 5/6 bets right. My loss was the Brisbane Lions as I had them at +51.5 but they lost by 58 points. The bets I won on were first quarter winners with Geelong, St Kilda, Sydney and  Collingwood. My 5th win was Collingwood +29.5
8800  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: August 30, 2016, 01:02:27 AM
I have a parlay bet on the tennis and I had Angelique Kerber in my parlay to win, she won her match but it was dur to the other player retired so what will happen to my parlay bet if all the others I have win? I know most sportsbooks just make that match void and i still get the rest of the parlay. Is that the same here?

Your bet won.

Following is the relevant information from our Rules :

https://www.directbet.eu/Rules.cshtml

Quote
If a player or pairing retires or is disqualified in any match, the player or pairing progressing to the next round (or winning the tournament in the case of a final) will be deemed the winner. However if less than one set has been completed at the time of the retirement or disqualification then all bets relating to that individual match will be void.

Thanks for clearing this up for me as I know all sportsbooks are different when it comes to these types of situations in a game. Now just need my last 2 legs of the parlay to come through for me and I'll get it.
