2018 One Tenth Bitcoin, V Series (3-star): - Introduced in June, 2018 - 39 mm, Titanium - Inside hologram sticker window: "W" prefix serial number, and bitcoin address prefix - Funding: Newly mined, 0.1 BTC - 875 Standard coins - 25 "Twins" coins, double funding (funded by 2 blocks: 530103 and 530158) Total: 900 coins
As mentioned before, I have been fully involved with the security aspects of these coins in 2018, including the production and printing of the private keys & QR codes, the tamper-evident stickers, and the assembly process. All private keys for the coins were only printed once, so there are no additional paper copies; and all electronic copies have been deleted & destroyed. For your reference, the private keys never left the computer/hard-drive after the codes were generated.

Indeed, Private key management, handling and application now become important issues. There have been numerous changes with BTCC in the recent past as we have struggled to find information that indicates that you are still part of this mix. Do you use 3rd parties? If so, can you describe the processes to us where the private keys are concerned. Do these people have access to exposed keys? Who applies the holos? I know you will understand where the trepidation is coming from as you understand key security very well regards Viz Hi Viz, Thank you for the questions. Yes, I think I do understand the complex (and important) topic of security for private keys. To clarify: during the coin assembly process, a restricted number of long-time (and loyal) BTCC staff members have access to exposed keys. This has always been the case for coin assembly, and frankly speaking, I don't see a way to avoid it. The key issue is that the exposed private keys are not ever recorded down for future abuse or theft. In that sense, I can endorse the current process and give you my assurance here. thanks, Bobby Hi Bobby, Thanks for the clarification. Viz

You might also want to take a closer look at the holos too...
LOTS of scratches there too, heartbreaking and definitely doesn't feel like "NEW" coins, they have a very second hand/cheap rate feel to them.
Very disappointing.

Notably quiet as of late BTCC_Official ....
I was rather hoping you would be explaining just why the recent batch of coins were so badly packaged and allowed to be sent out that way. Where's the Quality Control?

Wow!
My "Roll" of tenths arrived today. Not impressed or amused.
All were loose in a bag, not in a capsule (supplied separately) and certainly NOT in a roll.
Having received rolls of chips before I am very curious as to what went wrong this time. Very disappointed in the slap dash approach to these.
