I'm not convinced either way, to be honest. Huh

Consolidating for the next leg up. I can feel it.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 22, 2014, 01:54:04 AM

In my experience. These types of green candles are not to be ignored. Wink
884  Other / Off-topic / Re: What was the BTC price when you joined the community? on: June 22, 2014, 01:52:01 AM
~ $70. Very bottom of the April crash. No, I didn't buy at the time. Smiley Cry
885  Economy / Economics / Re: ~On Hedging~ on: June 22, 2014, 01:33:21 AM
You can hedge on different time frames. But I agree, altcoins are no hedge -- certainly not in the traditional form of the word.
886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poll : do you trust an exchange to hold your bitcoins ? on: June 22, 2014, 01:32:04 AM
I don't trust them but I'm doying it anyway. I usualy look for signs when something start to go wrong and until now it worked.

Ditto. I don't like it, but I do like to hedge...

Huobi pumping! Grin
888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Please Help] Reasons for the Bitcoin all-time-high 2013 on: June 22, 2014, 01:24:13 AM
China wanted bitcoin bad. Then the government said no-no. CCP will see in time the error in playing that game (if they have not already).
889  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Thing You'd Do For A Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2014, 01:23:13 AM
You can get a bitcoin for $600. I'd do a weeks worth of work for that. Smiley

Knocked Up

It was painful and I lost some respect for Seth Rogen

Haven't you seen "Total Recall"? Don't you know how this ends? Tongue
892  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you buy? on: June 22, 2014, 01:20:16 AM
XMR but you're pretty late to get in on the pump now..... who knows when it'll pop Tongue

894  Other / Off-topic / Re: Farewell on: June 16, 2014, 07:37:56 PM
Let this be a lesson, not the end. You said it yourself -- bright future ahead. Don't make this a reason to miss the boat....
895  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it profitable to mine? on: June 16, 2014, 07:35:37 PM
Maybe, maybe not. I can't wrap my head around difficulty and how to speculate on it, so I prefer to speculate just on BTC price.
896  Economy / Economics / Re: $50k to Invest - Convince Me! on: June 16, 2014, 07:35:06 PM
Sellers are exhausted here. I don't think we'll see under $500 for a long time, if ever.

I'm thinking similarly. Once we crack this 610 resistance, we are headed to the 700s! Grin
897  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook Bank on: June 16, 2014, 07:34:28 PM
I don't think this has a thing to do with bitcoin. Just Facebook news.
898  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What good things has Obama had since he is elected ? on: June 16, 2014, 07:31:51 PM
Well, he said feds would stop raiding medical marijuana dispensaries.

....Then they kept doing it.
899  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 16, 2014, 07:28:21 PM
I can't see why any Members or Full Members would join that campaign. Doesn't make any sense to.

The per post pay rate is low, but there is a 10% ref bonus.
So, people may join it, if they have confidence to really draw people to the site.

Referrals, if you post a lot, can really add up. One or two profitable referrals can end up paying out more than signature ads (per post), I think.
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 16, 2014, 07:27:21 PM
Things are looking bullish. I think when China wakes (Tongue), we're gonna see another pump, forming another support base > $600. Cool
