^ Don't post your portfolio here. Make your own thread rather. That just clutters the thread.

This is a short thread, and I don't mind contractors showcasing their portfolio.  I'd also like bids.  But you are correct, he should also create a thread dedicated to his business.

_____________

someone asked me in PM

"...  u want a web page of graphics i can provide both"

My response was: "...  a question best asked in public because it would serve many others too ...  What I want is an image.  An image that looks like a webpage.  It will be used as a place holder for the website as it gets developed. and will probably also provide some guidance for the site developer.

When will you be finalising your choice for the person?

When I see an impressive style and price I will offer that person the assignment.   I also have it listed at Guru.com too.

Well, if you haven't seen my thread. Here it is:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=715634.0 . I specialise in FlatUI which has a modern look to it. Almost like coinbase.com

Although the rate you posted in this thread appears higher than the rate at your thread, the bid is still in 1st position.    You are the only person that provided portfolio and price,  so to be fair to myself  and the process I must provide for other bids.

thanks

If you still need someone please let me know i can do it. on the other hand i highly recommend malice red because of his experience

I would appreciate it if you would submit your quote.

I did post at Malice's thread, I'm sure he will respond when he has a chance, it's likely he's working on other projects.

thanks
$75 for a stunning landing page. I have quite a few designer friends who can do this with perfection.

Thanks for your quote,  I must say that I expect a 'stunning page' regardless of price, however I seriously doubt that price will see favor

You get what you pay for.
I will deliver nothing but a stunning page.

Although in many cases that phase is often true, when it come to artistic talent it really doesn't.   If I spent $75 with you for the "stunning page", then offered you $100 for a more stunning page, followed by $500 for a page 5x more stunning, followed by $1000 ...   the simple fact is a contractor's best is his best regardless of his price.

But given your "you get what you pay for" statement please square it with the following:

I am interested in hiring you for blog posts and articles.
$2/500 words
skype:aristo.studio

That was a different purpose, but yes, I agree $2 is quite low. In fact, it's very low. Funny how you're relating it.

As you see I posted there too, well prior to your bid.  When I saw the bid I didn't think you were serious but when I saw your reply to his reply I understood otherwise.

Yes, when I line up the two bids a stalk contrast is evident, then when I juxtapose those bids with the "you get what you pay for" comment it truly does render a musing mosaic.

My guess is you will use your subcontracting talents to make lots of money via PICISI when it is formed.

888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Happy Days Are Here Again, BTC UP, UP, UP ... on: March 05, 2015, 01:26:06 PM
It look like the price is going to stay at ~270 for sometime. I hope it wont drop again.

We are bouncing off that resistance area it seems, expecting another leg up to challenge $300 very soon.
What kind of technical analysis speak is that. Bouncing off resistance? Sounds like baloney to me. Bitcoin can go up, Bitcoin can go down.

If you acknowledge that it can go up and down, surely it can bounce?

890  Economy / Service Discussion / Great Sponsorship Opportunity For CryptoCurrency Exchange With PICISI on: March 05, 2015, 06:37:42 AM
In the coming weeks I want to launch PICISI -- a crowdfunding website that accepts fiat and cryptocurrency.  The platform will accept all publicly traded CCs, and any fiat accepted by Paypal.

PICISI will have many sponsorship opportunities for CCs:
  -  Host CC - is the currency that all other CCs will be converted to for a particular Campaign.
  -  Campaign - sponsor’s logo is affixed to body of campaign.
  -  Donor Perk -  CC escrowed on behalf of a specific campaign to be used as a perk, if not sold is converted to host CC and donated to the campaign
  -  Advertising Perk -  CC escrowed on behalf of a specific campaign to be used as a perk, if not sold reverts back to the sponsor.  Unsold funds are NOT donated to campaign.
and
  -  Video - 5 sec message at start of campaign video: “This video is brought to you by …”

But we will also have a fantastic sponsorship opportunity for CC exchanges

http://www.crowdfundingpr.org/pi-anyone-picisi-issued-currency-crowdfunding-space/#

After we issue the PICISI tokens, on a regular basis we plan to use the fees derived from fiat to buy PICISI tokens at our official exchange sponsor's site.

Unlike most other coins the PICISI token will be connected to a business, a business that would actually use the token in day-to-day transactions.   PICISI will be paying for assignments, most specifically promotions via marketing, publicity, and outreach.  Our site will hire a sea of independent contractors all around the world to do work from an extensive list of assignments everyday.  Work of varying sorts from creating graphics, videos, and badges, to writing articles, doing interviews, and making a referrals.  Everyone is paid with PICISI tokens, when fiat arrives we immediately use it to buy PICISI tokens, at prevailing rates, at the site of The Official Exchange of PICISI.

You sponsor us, we use your site to buy PICISI tokens, over and over again -- one big cycle of happy.  You have a choice of paying for the sponsorship opportunity or providing in-kind service for the transactions we do.

Whoever becomes the official exchange of PICISI will have a lot of people pointed in their direction as a direct result of the relationship.

Here is the newest PICISI Sponsor List.

In the coming weeks I want to launch PICISI -- a crowdfunding website that accepts fiat and cryptocurrency.   PICISI will be where crowdfunding (CF) Organizers, Sponsors, Donors, and Contractors gather to materialize dreams.   The platform will accept all publicly traded CCs, and any fiat accepted by Paypal.

894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PICISI Project on: March 05, 2015, 02:36:35 AM
PICISI will be a very powerful vehicle for introducing CC to the broader world.  It will enable many different coin communities to get their respective coins lots of exposure and use.  And yes, I repeat with emphasis: utility is the highest function for a currency, at PICISI CCs get lots of attention.

When visitors come to the site to raise funds for things that interest them they will have the opportunity to collect fiat as well as CC.  There are two host currencies, one for fiat and one for CC.   The Organizer has three options: a) accept sponsorship, b) select from list of CCs, or c) PICISI coin (default).  If they select sponsorship they will actually get paid because of that selection.   That's a great way to introduce CC to someone.   As Host CC sponsor all CC donations (regardless of type) are immediately converted to your currency and remain in that currency until spent or for the duration of the campaign.  The Organizer has the opportunity to spend CC donations with a campaign contractor(s) who help Organizers create, develop, and/or promote their campaign; thereby causing your currency to cycle again.

In addition to Host CC, there are 4 other sponsorship opportunities....

I'm working on a crowdfunding site that accepts fiat and crypto, I'm seriously considering creating a token for it.  Up to the time that I reached out to PilotofBTC, I was ambivalent about the meaningful differences between NXT, Mastercoin, Counterparty, and any other BTC 2.0 platforms.

I want to raise startup funds for PICISI (the crowdfunding site), what is the protocol for NXT ITOs?

Here is a bit of info on PICISI:

PICISI will be a very powerful vehicle for introducing CC to the broader world.  It will enable many different coin communities to get their respective coins lots of exposure and use.  Utility is the highest function for a currency, with PICISI Organizers and Donors are gently immersed in a world where CC has meaningful and practical financial value -- at PICISI CC get lots of attention.

I've sent you a PM.

Would be happy to help get you started Smiley

Thanks for the informative PM, I will take all of the info under advisement.

I heard about JeanLucPicard paper in a NXT youtube vid, after seeing the hard copy I gotta say I didn't understand the content or context.

How does that material relate to crowd funding?

Hmmm ... someone should def make a user friendly crowd funding guide on NXT.

896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin - Full Movie | Download | Watch Online for Free on: March 05, 2015, 12:15:40 AM

I dont understand what you are trying to say here. This is a thread discussing a Bitcoin Documentary. What is OP's relation with your project ?

Indeed the thread is about a Bitcoin Documentary if you notice I posted many months ago https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512096.msg9373824#msg9373824
in this thread when a screening of the movie was done in NY.  As the President of The Einsteinium Foundation I felt it was important to share that info with my community because all positive engagement on behalf of the cryptocurrency industry is good for the whole industry.

As I said above PICISI "will be a very powerful vehicle for introducing CC to the broader world" it will enable people to use CC at the site, it will inspire CC project developers, creators, and investors to see CC as a viable funding resource, it will enable more movies to be made, more CC movies to be made, and more CC movies that document the full breath of the CC universe from our perspective.

The CC world view from the outside seems sinister, full of scams and dishonesty, yet from the inside we know it has those faults but it has a much larger, bigger, stronger, and deeper promise and potential.  The Bitcoin 2.0 platforms and Coinbase exchanges hint to that.

We've got to find ways to introduce CC to the real world in ways that are familiar to them "movies", "Blimpies", "crowdfunding", so that universal adoption is not so far off or expensive.

If I've offended you with the post, I will immediately remove it, just let me know.

My I have the OPs endorsement of PICISI?

I'm building PICISI from an idea with hope and cooperation.

PICISI will be a crowdfunding website that accepts fiat and cryptocurrency.

It will be a very powerful vehicle for introducing CC to the broader world.  It will enable many different coin communities to get their respective coins lots of exposure and use.  Utility is the highest function for a currency, with PICISI Organizers and Donors are gently immersed in a world where CC has meaningful and practical financial value -- at PICISI CC get lots of attention.

In addition to Host CC, there are 4 other sponsorship opportunities.

What do you think?

At PICISI there will be many film projects seeking funding, some of which related to CC (like The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin).  We need more documentaries showing all sides of the CC industry.

900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Sponsors Wanted For Crowdfunding Start-up [PICISI] on: March 04, 2015, 09:59:24 PM
I'd just like to say my thoughts on the PICISI Project being created by Armis. PICISI will be a crowdfunding website that accepts fiat and crypto-currencies.

Over the last few years I have backed over 200 projects on Kickstarter / Indiegogo but the one project I have always looked for besides crypto based projects was a crowdfunding site for the altcoin world. The amount of projects I would have backed if Kickstarter / Indiegogo accepted altcoins would be much more than 200 projects!

I know PICISI will be much more of 'another crowdfunding' site, this site could not only bring alot of attention to various crypto-communities and the crypto-currency world but could help bring crypto-currencies to the main stream Kickstarter / Indiegogo type backer which is a tremendous market.  I believe if PICISI has a good solid ground with a solid variety of communities and sponsors the project could pick-up at great speed and become a big player in the crowdfunding world within a few years.

I have openly offered free web hosting and VPS hosting support for the PICISI project and will be help Armis with anything within my skill set / my teams skill set.

As Armis says 'utility' is the highest function for a currency, that's definitely true. I already have a few projects which I would run preferring more to be backed in crypto-currencies than fiat. Currently PICISI-lite is being developed in the process the community will be able to get a picture of what PICISI will bring and be able to provide constructive feedback.

For interested parties who wish to be part of a great project which could shape the way we fund projects and have the broader world interactive with the crypto-currency world look at becoming a sponsor, offer your services or speak with people who you think may be interested in
