I just bought a $100 gift card from him. Obviously I was concerned about chargeback risk, but he offered to let me log into his gyft account and verify the gift cards myself. After checking out his account, I can safely say that all of his purchases on gyft were made using bitcoin (no chargeback risk!). His deals may sound insane, but he's legit.

Well, I did told him and other people that I was making like 0.4 BTC monthly with Primedice (which is great in my shit tier country), they probably got overexcited. And again, I can find shittier posts by current Hero Members, and the posts aren't off topic even if they are short. You are going to start making people scared to post short-witty comments or just short replies just in case they get banhammered. If you start checking these 1000+ post accounts, you'll see that a big % of these posts are somewhat shitty, plus lots of even single word replies.
if you could send me a list of those users, I'll be sure to with them. Insubstantial posts are not tolerated here, regardless of rank. I can't do that, feels like a snitch yo. Even tho, based on what you are saying, everyone in threads like this should be banned: So you're claiming that there are 1000+ post accounts with big % of posts that are insubstantial, but you can't back that up with evidence when asked. Opinion discarded.
You completely missed the point. Making one insubstantial post occasionally won't land you a ban, but frequently making them will. |

He probably means can you prove they were legitimately purchased? Where are you purchasing them from and how can people know they wont get hit with a chargeback like many people do buying cards on here?
This I think is a misconception. Many people do not get hit with chargebacks. When I question some one I feel that it is more because I feel bad thinking that some one is getting screwed. Basically if you have no morals I doubt that you will encounter a chargeback especially if you use it quickly. If you really want to be sure make him buy you something and then release escrow when you receive the item. The seller should only deal with trusted users when using that method.  amazon sends you a bill, and if you don't pay up, they blacklist your address. |
