881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: February 11, 2017, 06:28:27 PM
Depend what option do you want to grow your money.
Personally I'm choose gamble since investing especially on bitcoin world are riskier than gambling (as my experience taught me )
As long as I'm gamble on legit site, I can afford my loss !

There are actually people who does not even understand the concept of investing, like you. Because you guys consider those hyips and scams as investments of bitcoin world while they are just illusions but not legit investment platforms. There are also websites or places where you can invest your bitcoin and get some profits, probably that wont be much but atleast better than losing the capital.
882  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] BTCDragon Casino Signature Campaign | Earn up to 0.04275 BTC/week! on: February 11, 2017, 06:18:07 PM
Post counting will be done in a bit (probably in > 1 hour). Post cutoff will be 8 AM MST, which is an hour and a half ago. I planned to do post counting earlier, but ran into some problems.

Update: Payments sent! tx: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/753771e0ac1430533833e0c37007702908b902c7aca2476bcb89ccd2a03464d8

Payment received. Thanks DarkStar.
So now there is just one more week for the campaign, right? Unless the owner of the site decides to continue the campaign.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: February 10, 2017, 05:37:53 PM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

Like what everybody most often said here in the forum, as long as you can stay away from it, do it right away. Bu if if can't do it, because curiosity, well you should give yourself a limitation while doing gamble in the games for you to lessen your big losses in money. for example give yourself 2 hours to play in gambling whether you win or not, you stop or exit in the games, that's it!

I probably agree with the idea that a person should have a limit for gambling, but i don't agree with the idea of having a limited time period for gambling because sometimes you can even lose all your capital before 5 minutes so in that case a limitation of time wont work. So a person should have a limited capital for everyday if they know they can't stop themselves from gambling and once they lose that capital they should stop, and if they win, that is great.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: February 10, 2017, 05:31:24 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

Decrease in user base. The more users stop using a coin the more its value drops and if the value drops then no one notices that coin anymore. Many alt coins die because of this and they can't survive once they got a drop from users because a new investor would always invest in a coin which is already having at least a little good users base.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: February 10, 2017, 05:24:35 PM
I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?

Investment is not investing on websites which promise you much more in less time, they are not investing platforms but they are scams and they come to loot the markets. In place of investing in these sites a person should rather gamble the funds away because they may win something in there but they won't get anything from those sites.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: February 10, 2017, 05:10:42 PM
for me gambling becomes a sickness if only you know that you are losing and you still continue to gamble. playing even if you know that you will just lose is a sickness and not a self confidence. you may say it self confidence but if you always lose it will be a sickness even if you know that you are always losing you still continue.

No one continues gambling for just losing more, it is just they want to recover their losses but they don't realize that they are going deeper in that well, and at the time when they come to know that they are drowning, there is no time to react and they find themselves dead (out of funds). After that, everyone says we wont gamble again but after a few days they start again because they are addicted.
887  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 10, 2017, 05:04:39 PM
So as of this moment, I'm only earning bitcoin through a signature campaign here on bitcointalk forum.

How are you earning bitcoin?

I don't have a lot of ways for earning bitcoins because i lack skills, technical or trading, so the only methods for me to earn bitcoin are signature campaign and sometimes gambling. Though gambling comes out giving me loses sometimes but if i see that now a days, so i'm earning few satoshis from it everyday.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: February 10, 2017, 05:01:04 PM
Yeah especially the famous martingale

I Tried simulating

Even with very great odds to win

just 2% losing

Run for 100k run, it will be profitable

but run for a 500k run, end up making loss

Martingale has been proved to be the most destructive gambling strategy so far. Mostly people use this strategy so that they don't lose anything because after every bet the bet amount gets doubled so that the lost bet gets recovered, but when the lose streak starts then it becomes really difficult to stop that and at the end you will find your account swept completely.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: February 10, 2017, 04:38:56 PM
if you are destined to lose then that is going to happen in any way, and if you are gonna win someday so you will win no matter what you wear or what you do.
But I am the one, believing in to superstitions which will support me to find out and maximize my lucky moments so that I will be having some profits.

In other words I believe in superstitions will bring luck and it will change my destiny. Maybe I am completely wrong still I believe into this all the times and not just for gambling. Even for my works, I look for some lucky things so that I will not get big troubles.

You know, there are people in the world who believe in such things, but it is not important that what they get is because of all these, but they are actually going to get them anyway, but just because they do these things and then they win or get something so they start thinking that it was because of that. And that is where the belief gets stronger.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: February 09, 2017, 07:09:36 PM
After playing years dice games on different sites I can say with with confidence that there is no such thing which is called strategy. All you need is good luck and good time and then everything will work in your favor. Some people have different tricks which works for short term for them this is what they may call strategy. Strategy is something which should work for everyone else that is not strategy near me.

Probably. A strategy would probably means something that would work the same for everyone who uses it, and if something done by two different persons and they get different outcomes then that cannot be considered a strategy. It all depends on luck when you are gambling, don't think that you will make tons of money by applying some strategy.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a chance Satoshi is dead? Car accident, heart failure, ect on: February 09, 2017, 06:58:05 PM
He may be death or alive.
Satoshi can be organization and live forever.
Who cares, any way?
Enjoy the ride with bitcoin and don't spend time on staff you can't know. Smiley

Exactly, i would say the same, "who cares?" Just enjoy what you have got and forget about the things that are not of your concern. What if Satoshi is dead? Or what if he is alive and hiding because of some reason? We have gotten something great because of him and we are thankful to him for that, we don't know if he is one individual or a group or something, but we just got bitcoin from him/them so we should just enjoy.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Epic Gambling Story. on: February 09, 2017, 06:43:16 PM
I had lost almost all of my last .013 of my .03 that I worked a week to earn.. I had .003 left.

I placed a last ditch parlay. https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/238e7d9cm1VVUJFcDRNbVFseWRiVVBvT2YzUT09/r/1505052/

Wawrinka gave me a heart attack and pulled off an improbable victory and I hit it. I am a csgo betting god and am up to .045 now.

From 3 USD to 50 USD.

Do not lose heart guys! That last bit can make the big difference!

Lucky you. I lost $100 in just one bet in dice with a multiplier of 1.01 (98% chance of winning) and couldn't even recover any of it. Someone who can recover a lost amount in gambling is probably luck because most of the times people lose more when they try to recover something in gambling.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: February 09, 2017, 06:31:18 PM
Though i'm not a regular gambler but this year has probably not been a great start for me in terms of gambling because i lost around $100 or more in this year in only one bet and after that i stopped doing that. I actually wanted to get some bucks by putting the multiplier at 1.01 but as it is the game of luck, i lost a bet after a few and given all the capital to the house.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: February 09, 2017, 06:24:05 PM
Someone has said bitcoin is of no value, in my heart I think they said is wrong, I always think that bitcoin is valuable, but I didn't understand what is the origin of the value of bitcoin, why accept more people, its value will rise? If you have other ideas, please discuss.

It has value in many ways for different kind of people with different mentalities. It has value for some people because it has a high price, It has value for someone people because it keeps fluctuating and they can earn profit through this. And it has value for someone people just because they are earning money even if they are not doing anything as the price is growing gradually.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most popular bitcoin gambling games? on: February 09, 2017, 06:19:03 PM
I think slots or roulette can be the most popular games after dice in online gambling sites. Because after dice we can find these games almost in every popular gambling site and that is only because people love them so the sites always include them in the list so that they can get more users.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 09, 2017, 06:13:20 PM
I am not rich yet. I have earned many BTC from betting. Some days I feel like making money and some days I don't.
This is what we must make basic to immediately reduce or stop gambling. Rest assured, gambling will not make us rich, better to use our money for investment. My advice, better most of the bitcoin on hold due to the current price being up, the rest we invested to buy altcoin.

Gambling is completely a luck based thing, so it totally depends on someone luck if they will win and get rich or they will lose and become poor. There is not any exact ways of becoming rich in gambling if you are just playing but not owning a site. Because the house probably gets more than any player gambling there.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: February 07, 2017, 06:17:33 PM
I have actually never gambled in my real life. Whenever i do that is only online and in online gambling i don't do anything like that, Nor i would do that in real world if i was gambling. Because i feel it is a game of luck but nothing else. So if you are destined to lose then that is going to happen in any way, and if you are gonna win someday so you will win no matter what you wear or what you do.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to choose hi or lo in dice games ? what you have in mind when you gamble ? on: February 07, 2017, 06:05:27 PM
No matter what you choose, the outcome would always be the same, which is dependent on your luck. I don't even think before selecting this, or i don't really touch that option at all, what i do is place the bet amount and set the multiplier and click on roll because i know that it depends on my luck if the result will be in my favor or the house's.
899  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: February 07, 2017, 06:01:03 PM
Guys sorry for this question above but I would like to ask here that

What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

though I know that I can search it in google but I want an answer from those people who have already experienced this two.
Thank you.

I hope you can help me in my confusion..

Technically, trading is the process between two people buying/selling goods or currencies at a particular price. And investing is the process when someone gives away the money on a business which as a result would pay him profits within a particular period of time, though profit is not guaranteed in both of them. Trading can also be considered a kind of an investment though.
900  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: February 07, 2017, 05:46:08 PM
I have selected 0.01 USD but i can also pay 0.1 USD without any hesitation because i don't do transactions everyday. I do it maybe once in a week or once in a month because i mostly spend my bitcoins on filling my mobile or trading them for cash sometimes if i need cash, other then that i don't send bitcoins anywhere.
