881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation Time is now not a problem at local shops. Buy without any wait on: January 17, 2017, 03:16:25 AM
It's true, Bitcoin transactions with a 0.0002 fee are confirmed very quickly. And even credit card payments can be reversed many days later. So even though the transaction is unconfirmed, it's still received "instantly".
Yes it is true that for merchants card payments have higher risk of chargebacks but with only one confirmation bitcoin payments is safer for merchants. Fee is not fixed and 0.0002 may be only enough for transaction with one input and two output.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: January 17, 2017, 03:09:49 AM
Actually the confirmation time doesnt make it difficult for bitcoin to be used in daily life. If enough fee is included transaction will be confirmed  within 15 minute and there is also tools that can analyze transactions and merchants can use it to accept payments which dont have possibility of double spend.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to expect the next big drop in BTC? on: January 16, 2017, 05:09:39 PM
The one who is waiting for some dump to buy cheap bitcoin than i think current price below 900 usd is very good price to buy at.  Grin
You can consider this dump as last dump which had pushed price below 1k we may not see price below 1k usd in 2017 again if next pump push price to over $1k
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCE one of the most targeted sites of DDOS attacks in history on: January 14, 2017, 03:52:55 AM
The most frightening is the inside job that is possibly happening and the blame will be passed to the hackers. Its quite disappointing that they lost huge amount of bitcoin but they are not doing something maybe because it is their own doing.
One of the very good example of inside job could be seen on bitfinex recent hack, they lost 100,000+ BTC and never published details regarding how hackers get access to their funds invading their high security.  Angry

We need decentralized bitcoin trading platform.
885  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have not invested in Bitcoin when it was 200 US dollars on: January 14, 2017, 03:49:18 AM
Situation was also same for me, when bitcoin price was swinging around $400 and i have strong believe that price can boost well above $1k within 2016 but i didn't had much fiat in my hand and couldn't convince my father to invest some of his fiat in bitcoin. When i showed him price touching $1100 on end of last year, he get convinced to invest some if price get dumped but i don't think i will get any at price below $700.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other CryptoCurrencies are Rocking the whole Crypto Community on: January 14, 2017, 03:45:01 AM
Ethereum may remain for long term due to smart contract feature they have.
Monero may survive due to increase anonymity they provide as well as they are now accepted by darkweb marketplaces which may boost its adoption.
Zcash offer something different but it looks like it will struggle to get adoption in early day but in future they may get some momentum.

Bitcoin price may cross $2k by end of this 2017 because it seems we gonna see lots of good news regarding bitcoin this year.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sports Gambling sites? on: January 10, 2017, 05:00:37 PM
I also like cloudbet because it has a very good dashboard and is also trusted by a lot of users.
I also used to bet on cloudbet however after i get few of my withdrawals stucked there for hours i have shifted towards directbet and i also find directbet odds comparatively good.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 10, 2017, 04:56:10 PM
If you are just playing to entertain yourself than its ok but if you try to put whatever you have in gambling than you should feel shame about your gambling habit.
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very Small Transactions Unconfirmed for Days ?? on: January 10, 2017, 04:52:50 PM
OK, thank you again!  It looks like my problem was paying just BTC0.0001.  The blockchain.info app on iPhone is what I used.
When you click next on transaction it will show details regarding your transaction before you click confirm/send, in that window you will see customize link on fee section click it than you can edit those fee amount they have recommended. Hope this will help to figure it out...
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Blockchain Transfer Fee 0.00009 BTC And Save On Transfers on: January 10, 2017, 04:47:55 PM
Let's say that its possible, maybe there is a good-natured miner, It's a good thing for us that we will have to pay a very low fee but not for the miners . If you're a miner you will definitely feel bad about this as the electricity bill is a no joke and also quite unfair for those who pays a high miner fee .
Miners can prioritize transaction based on transaction fee and the one who are also ok with lower fee could be mining with free or very cheap electricity so they may still find those low fee profitable but number of those miners are really low because even if some miners have really low electricity cost they will try to maximize profit by just accepting transaction with larger fees.

I think OP got lucky to get that transaction confirmed in 24 hour but all transaction may not have same size so this fee can't be said enough.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there difference between Bitcoin and liberty reserve? on: January 10, 2017, 04:43:08 PM
I'm surprised Liberty Reserve isn't forgotten, yet. But I guess it's worth remembering as a wrong way to do things. One single guy got arrested and the whole thing just collapsed.
And i think same will happen to perfectmoney which is working exactly like liberty reserve used to. However after the introduction of bitcoin as payment system with lower fee on sending/receiving money there is no need for this types of centralized payment processors with low fee. All of this processors are vulnerable towards governmental shutdown because they can shut it down/stop with just one off switch.
892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which trading exchange is more safe ?? on: January 09, 2017, 05:50:30 PM
Now between these two which is more secure and handleable for my mobile .
Between yobit and poloniex there is no doubt that poloniex is far better than yobit in both aspect i.e. security and compatibility with mobile. Yobit even don't have mobile version of their trading platform.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the best websites to spend one Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2017, 05:46:13 PM
I just want to spend one Bitcoin today, never have bought anything, always investing, any recomendations, shops, etc?
What was the last product you have bought with Bitcoin?
I have used bitrefill to topup my mobile several times you can use them daily if you like.

Also purse.io could be good option for you to buy items from amazon with bitcoin.

Dell also accept bitcoin http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/uscorp1/campaigns/bitcoin-marketing?c=us&l=en&s=corp so if you like to buy something big you can try to buy electronic items from them with bitcoin.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: OroCoin [ORO] - The first currency with a block reward uniquely pegged to gold. on: January 09, 2017, 05:42:49 PM
I also suggest OROcoin team to get some trusted member of this forum convinced to act as escrow for crowdfunding. Many dev team have scammed before with ICO so everybody like to feel safe before investing in any new coin/project.
895  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [WorldMiners.Biz] has anyone used this? on: January 09, 2017, 05:09:57 PM
I don't recommend investing in a hyip/ponzi site it will turned scam in the long run. I invested there last december just to give a try and honestly they are really paying but just like what i've said dont invest there you will lose your money dude.
Last december mean few weeks before? It may run or even pay for few weeks/month but all knows that no any hyip will run for long time with stability. So better not to gamble investing in this types of ponzi.

Thanks dude even though you have invested there you are not suggesting other to invest in this HYIP.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Awareness on Local Level on: January 09, 2017, 05:06:11 PM
Yes it sounds good. Print out ads on paper ,and get 20-30 people who will spread it out to people in your city.

Target younger people, 25-40, they will love it. Tell them they can earn money here, and they will jump immediately.

Cant believe people are not doing this.
This will be good for bitcoin adoption but there will be no incentive for people doing this. I don't think anyone would like to pay cost of this ads from their own pocket. However bitcoin related startups can get benefit from promoting bitcoin awareness rather than a individual bitcoin user.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Way of Scamming the bitcoin user I received it ??? on: January 09, 2017, 05:01:46 PM
Some nigerian prince died and wanted to give you 1 000 000$, u need only pay a legal fee of 5000$ to claim it. If someone fall for that, and there are many people like that, what can i say, they must think before taking action.

I have got phone call before with similar scam attempt where they asked to pay legal fees/custom fees and when asked them to which account than they have given me some personal account details. Which make me doubt about them and i try to search for the mobile number from which i have got call, i came to know that it is fake/virtual number which you can buy and forward your phone through (UK phone number).

@OP better not to subscribe everything you go through and never use your personal email address to register in random sites.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price up and down on: January 07, 2017, 01:07:59 PM
Will it stabilizre in 800usd?  How many months?
Even after this massive dump price is trying to find its place above $800 and right now it looks like it will get upto $900. So better not to wait for price to stabalize in 800 usd, buy cheaper right now if you want.
899  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Official]CellDice.com launches API for dice game on: January 07, 2017, 01:03:19 PM

900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Investment: risk or benefit? on: January 06, 2017, 04:52:56 PM
I think if we invest and hold bitcoin, we will benefit from it.  It was been predicted that it will increase in price in the long run.  It would be best to buy it and hold it for more than 5 years and sell after to get profit.
But if you don't keep an eye on daily bitcoin price you may rather loss than making any profit holding for years. Without risk you can't earn profit in any types of investment and bitcoin is also same. Bitcoin investment: High risk = High benefit

The one who panics will only loss in end.
