Soweit so klar.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: November 08, 2021, 03:25:12 PM
after few launchpads and next level hype on market. I think it will be so in 3-4 weeks, not more..
For that to happen we would need a proper Altcoinrally. I don't think we'll be there in 3 weeks already, first it will be BTC time to move up, then after ETH and BNB will follow. $1000 are within the reach for BNB, but the question is whether the price level can be held also in a bear market?
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: November 08, 2021, 12:56:54 PM
Has anyone here traded their waves/btc or whichever altcoin and staked USDN and did it for one year or more?  If so, experience on this?

Has anyone done this with big amounts?  By that I mean at least low 5 figures?
Hm, so you are looking for someone that sold Waves/BTC at least 1 year ago against $/USDN to stake it. Looking at the Waves/BTC price from 1 year ago that would have been a very bad decision  Wink

I do have some funds in Vires (since Aug) and also the LP Tokens (since Feb), so far all is working fine. I am not sure what information you are after exactly. The USDN staking is done through a smart contract which doesn't care how much you put in and when you take it out. So far no problems were reported so I guess it has been working fine from the start until now.

885  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [WAVES]. Ultimative Crypto-Token Blockchain Plattform. on: November 08, 2021, 07:50:53 AM
Allein dreimal so viel ($150 Millionen) bleibt beim Team. Zudem rund 10% nur fürs Marketing, also $100 Millionen Huh

Local boards will not count for this campaign, in the blender wallet campaign we have done they do count though.
Thanks for the clarification  Smiley
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dream Bitcoin 100k on: November 07, 2021, 07:48:47 PM
Investors must have dreamed of the bitcoin price reaching $100k and currently the bitcoin price has reached $61,871. Looks like this year bitcoin will not reach $100k because now it's November, I think in 2022 the price of bitcoin could reach $100k. Now what we need to prepare is to buy bitcoins to get bigger profits in the future.

If the 2017 situation repeats itself and the panic buy starts, the $ 100k price may be reached in a few days, so there is still a long time until the end of the year for this to happen.
If Bitcoin don't hit $100k in 2021, then I don't mind if it happens in 2022. The most important thing is that the price goes up, and when it reach 6 digits it is less important.
Yea I think so too. We still need a blow-off top in the current bull cycle. If this happens we can see a gain of 30% in a couple of days easily. It might take a couple of months for the bull cycle to reach that phase though. Currently BTC and ETH are stable close to their ATHs and memecoins having their time. Sooner or later the $ will come back into the big coins again. Let's hope for the best  Wink
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find these coins? on: November 07, 2021, 03:43:03 PM
It's mostly luck at such an early time point in a project's life. Nobody knows in advance whether a project will be such a huge success and makes a x1000 from the ICO. The best is to research upcoming ICOs on pages like those:
Then depending how much you want to invest pick ~5-10 different projects, invest and wait Wink

Seems the bid is live on it, current bid is at 7k so above face value with COA’s and everything. I think that gilt of these I was hoping to buy just mooned.
Oh wow, great to see some appreciation for physical cryptocoins in some actual "real world" auction houses.  Grin
The price is still pretty low, I hope this gains a bit more popularity and goes aboe $10k.
It would be great to see some Casascius coin offered like this too, they surely would go much higher in price.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT a trustable? on: November 07, 2021, 12:26:44 PM
Until now even more and more exchanges are making USDT as their main stable coin. If why should this be indicated a scam? USDT is currently increasingly being used as an investor's choice, especially when other cryptocurrencies fall. Or it can be said to be for asset security. Related to existing scam news may need to be reviewed again the truth.
USDT is the oldest, most established and largest stablecoin and presumably easier to integrate than other stablecoins. This doesn't mean it is the best or safest stablecoin though.
I would suggest to split your holdings across several stablecoins to avoid a large loss in case USDT or another one is going south. To me it is not a question if, but when this will happen.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 Vs 2021 on: November 07, 2021, 12:23:43 PM
according to the cycle repeat chart we are now very close to the top with another +25% ahead of us and then we'll see a down/side trend until 2024.
(see here: https://stats.buybitcoinworldwide.com/cycle-repeat/)

I don't think that history will repeat like this exactly. We might see a few more months of bull market, but towards the second half of 2022 the cycle will probably end...
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stalking ETH 2.0 on: November 07, 2021, 06:51:13 AM
what do you think of binance stalking ETH 2.0 ?
worth it ?
if you could give me your pro and con
Well, it's not so complicated imho.
Pro: Easy interface on the Binance platform, you don't need to worry about technialities. ALso Binance is a big player and not some shady small platform without experience and/or built up trust
Con: You need to trust Binance as a platform. They are in a fight to become a "proper" trading exchange and had some legal issues in the past. Nothing is guaranteed, so never invest more than you can lose.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can BNB rise to950? on: November 07, 2021, 06:48:23 AM
from 690 to 950 only a gain of 38% is needed. This could happen within one month for sure if the whole market continues to go upward. (Yea I know smaller coins wasily make that in a day, but BNB is the 3rd largest crypto out there and doesn't move so quickly anymore...)
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Binance own more than 50% BNB on the market ? on: November 07, 2021, 06:46:23 AM
Comparing Eth with BNB is like comparing apple with oranges. Eth is completely decentralised crypto that is maintained by its community of developers, while BNB is centralised coin whose blockchain is controlled by Binance. Seeing the rise of crypto many centralized coins were launched like EOS, XRP etc. But they are against the ideology of crypto. I am not surprised whether binance has 82% or 50% of BNB,  since they control the blockchain they can manipulate token distribution according to there desires.
Reading this I thought you talk about BTC and ETH  Grin
ETH isn't fully decentralized either. In the past several decisions were made by a small minority of developers that just pushed their "vision" or rolled-back mistakes.
Centralized to some degree isn't necessarily bad though. Of course, with Binance as a centralized exchange it is no surprise that BNB is fully under control of Binance.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: November 06, 2021, 12:13:28 PM
This ido was interesting only for big players since you still do not need to forget about linear unlocking.
I suppose this depends on what you define as a "big player". Waves blockchain fees are not that high (currently <$0.15 per transaction), so that even for a small investor who only claims his WX ~ once per month and sells them on the exchange immediately fees are less than $4 for the whole year (2x12 transactions).
Of course, this is almost 10% of your invested $50, so you are definitely no big player  Grin
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money while gaming on: November 06, 2021, 11:12:56 AM
... axie infinity is true play to earn it's what gaming should have been all about from the beginning, in the past gaming is like time wasting but today it's not anymore.
Well, maybe I am just to old, but gaming is by definition a "waste of time". It is not supposed to be productive, otherwise it wouldn't be gaming but something else, something closer to an actual job probably... (I suppose in real-world sports there is the fitness and training aspect, but this hardly can be said of computer games)

Sure, modern games have the competitive scene around them, which in the end is the reason why people pay for items or experience points which in the end is just "converted" gaming time.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money while gaming on: November 06, 2021, 07:37:59 AM
This have been my dream for a long time now and it's finally coming true, I spent hours on my Xbox and always have this thought of getting paid while gaming, I've used this to create topics in the past and many said it's impossible but now I think it's becoming a reality
Technically you can already earn money while gaming for quite some time now. Selling items or accounts or earning money with twitch streaming is a thing for some years already  Wink

Also many pay-to-win games lets you grind hours to earn otherwise paid in-game currency. What now will happen is the logical next step to make in-game items better tradeable against crypto/NFTs or fiat currency.

I still remember when Blizzard tried that in their Diablo 3 auction house. The failed back then, let's see if game comapnies learned sth in the last 10 years  Wink
898  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: You always loose, and the house will be the winner ? on: November 06, 2021, 07:26:52 AM
Your questions are pretty basic. No ofense, but I would suggest you take a basic online course in probabilty theory to get a bit deeper into the subject

In short:
I am wondering, if I keep winning will my chance of winning further decrease ?
In normal betting games, different rounds are typically independent from each other (so that the outcome of the previous round does not influence the next round). That means for any round: It does not matter what your result of the previous round was. Whether you lost the last 5 rounds or you won all of them has nothing to do with the result of the next round whatsoever.

Let's say, I am playing with 70% chance, and increasing my bet amount after a loss, and keeping enough money to cover till loss streak of 20. (which is insane!), and I continue to win, does it mean at some point my loosing streak will exceed 20, and bust all my bankroll ?
This is a popular strategy, however, will fail in the long run under normal circumstances (i.e. when the house has a small edge).
The probability seems small to lose 20 runs in a row, however your average gains will also be relatively small as you have to maintain your safety net of the money of 20 rounds.
This strategy is very similar to putting your money on 35 (out of 36 + 0) numbers on a roulette table. Your probability to lose is small, but your gains are also small.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: November 05, 2021, 04:57:44 PM
Unlocking for a year i don't like it at all. I'm surprised that the project was able to raise so much funds.
Yeah, 1 year is a long time in crypto land, however, the price of 1 USDN is guaranteed. If WX drops below that price level you can just cash out your initially invested USDN and do with them whatever you please.

It will be interesting so see the token price development of WX. It will open very high I think, but drop fast after a few months. Let's see if it can hold the IDO price of $1 in the long run. There will be a lot of tokens potentially (1 billion), however, not all might be created and there is the locking function which might remove a substantial amount from circulation...
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Investment Suggestion on: November 05, 2021, 04:51:38 PM
For those who have been involved in LUNA, I inform you that it can continue to rise, it is already around 43.74 USD despite ... But in the long term it is something else, better prices may occur, in the short term I would continue to bet on LUNA :

...

I do not know if some have gotten into this coin, but I think it can continue to increase, in my sights I have Solana, UNI, DOT.
It will all depend on the general market movement. We saw an Altcoin rally in the first months of 2021, and there might be another one around the corner now and if it comes all Alts will see substantial gains.
Without a general market rally I don't think single coins will see substantial gains without sifgnificant fundamental news...
