881  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: January 07, 2018, 01:48:40 AM
People who scams are not earning money. Ok, maybe they're getting some money in that moment, but it's not something that will work for eternity.
If people are scamming then it is obvious they are getting economic benefits through it, if they did not then they will not scam, the thing that should worry us is that some people look as scamming as a profession that is why there are so many scams in the forum and other forums related to bitcoin.
882  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: January 07, 2018, 01:46:20 AM
It is true that the bitcoin reduces unemployment. Many people are now have a good job because of the bitcoin. Many people are getting interesting to the bitcoin even though the money that we can earn is not stable.
There are not many jobs that you can get with bitcoin, now that does not mean that you can not earn money with bitcoin because you can obviously do that, but it is not easy, many people try to make money in bitcoin and they fail since they do not have the skills or the knowledge to earn money due to their lack of skills.

883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Rise again in January? on: January 06, 2018, 02:17:50 AM
In my opinion bitcoin will rise up to $22000.

No one knows, but all I know that its price will rise up more than its All time high. So, let us just wait for it to happen, and of course it will happen!

I agree. There are so many posts about "predicting" when or how much bitcoin will rise in the next few months or years. I think everyone knows by now that reality that cryptocurrency is the best definition of uncertainty in terms of a currency. Even if we know, following past trends, that it will rise up and gain traction at any given point in time, no one can accurately and really tell with accuracy when it will catch fire again or how much it would grow. I think the most possible amount to reach would be around 15-17k because gunning for over 20k would be too much.
Speculating is fun, but if you are a long term holder yo do not really care about when the price is going to go up, as long as it does then you are fine, those that bought at 200 dollars do not care if a few weeks ago we were close to 10k and now we are at 17k they got incredible profits already.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: January 06, 2018, 02:09:45 AM
Probably one of the most important lessons when opening a business is that you need to understand that most business are not profitable in the first year, you need to be ready to absorb all the costs, that is why you see that most of the business that declare bankruptcy were the ones that opened recently.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the safest way to gain 1% daily profit from trading? on: January 06, 2018, 01:50:37 AM
After two weeks your strategy gone wrong where most of my holding gained more than 200% profit in crypto currency patience will pay . So instead of doing day trading buy and hold for  long term with good potential coins.

that's temporarily, alts bullish will not last long.
Everything is temporary neither altcoins or bitcoin can go up all the time, and that is why we see corrections all the time and then we have people crying in the forum thinking that bitcoin is going to die, we need to get used to the fact that these movements of the market are natural in crypto.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TROOOOOOOON!!!! on: January 06, 2018, 01:47:23 AM
I just made 100x, I'm shaking here. First time experience for me  Shocked

Of course it's nothing until cashed out

i wonder how it will feel like, when you try to cash out and the US dollar isnt worth anything anymore....
This is why cashing out all your earnings is a huge mistake, convert your big profits you got in altcoins to bitcoin and cashout half, if you invested a significant amount of money half is more than enough, keep holding the rest and invest in other projects and with time your wealth in bitcoin will surpass many times your wealth in fiat.
887  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: January 06, 2018, 01:43:06 AM
People considered owning Bitcoin is like owning gold, just to make a profit from the rate increase . At present , Bitcoin has a big name . It's value is very much .
I think this is one of the biggest reasons why bitcoin is going up many people are holding their bitcoin and are not selling despite these high prices, this reduces the the supply of bitcoin available to the general public and this makes the price to go up dramatically when there is a surge in the demand.
Not only that although people sell. other people will also buy at a fairly large level so I think because big names also make bitcoin can fly high price
With bitcoin being this high in price I think we are reaching the point where the average person cannot buy bitcoin any longer, only those that are traders, or that are professional investors can buy bitcoin and this drives the price upwards since they have their pockets full of money and they are eager to buy bitcoin at any price.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's that unfair for those who don't have bitcoin in the future ? on: January 05, 2018, 05:41:33 AM
You are looking things in the wrong way, is it fair that there are poor people and rich people? The truth is that in the economic system we are the disparity of income is going to be a reality, those that got early assumed a great risk especially if they invested a huge amount of money to get bitcoin and they were right so they deserve to get the rewards, it is like those that invest in gold and benefit in the future when the economy fails, they deserve the reward as well.

889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: January 05, 2018, 05:24:00 AM
Keep your head clear and make wise decisions before your put somewhere your cash. Read all info before buy or take part in some ICO. Ou and one more thing... patience is the key. Best price comes with time.
This is not as easy as it seems, many people want to do that, but then they begin to look at the ico bonuses and think that if they do not invest right now they are going to miss on the opportunity to get more tokens for free and as a result they invest in bad icos with good marketing.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple To the Moon on: January 05, 2018, 04:56:12 AM
When do you think this bull will end , and the price get correction , and how much is going to be, and do you think it is just pump and dump? Need your suggestion because i am just hold on it till this moment.
There is no way this is a pump and dump scheme, the growth comes from a renewed interest on the coin, however there is no doubt that a correction is coming, in fact it seems it has already begun with ripple losing 8% in the last 24 hours, how big the correction is going to be probably something between 20% to 35%.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: January 05, 2018, 04:51:45 AM
Will altcoins crash again ?
What do you mean by again, in this year altcoins did not crash what it happened was that most alts remained more or less static for a while, while bitcoin grew in price, that is not a crash in my mind, and there is a chance that happens again but we have no way to know when that is going to happen.
892  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes Bitcoin to move this fast? on: January 04, 2018, 04:15:40 AM
Growing popularity Of Bitcoin is the major reason for its price growth in last few days. People all around the world are adopting it as an investment tool. This increases its demand and supply being limited make its price rise like anything. Market cap of BTC has been doubled from Sep till now and so is its price. Hope to see BTC rise more in 2018 if lightning network comes into the picture, Coz then people will adopt it as a payment mode also and will use it more often for day to day transaction.
Also it seems investors are planning to invest big money in bitcoin and when that happens that is going to change the whole dynamic of bitcoin, not only the big demand and the big amount of money is going to make the price of bitcoin even higher, people all around the world will want to join this revolution for fear of being left behind.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: January 04, 2018, 04:10:31 AM
What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

i think it is not a bad idea to teach bitcoin to elderly especially for those who are retired. It is actually good for them because even if they are already retired, they can still earn money aside from the pension that they are receiving. In this manner, they can earn lots of money and sustain their living and also they can buy whatever they want. It can be also be a past time for them because they do not have a job already.
To those people that were fortunate enough to be able to retire, something that most of my generation in my country will not be able to do, the last thing they want to keep doing is to keep working they just want to enjoy their life and live comfortably.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to stop ICO ? on: January 04, 2018, 03:59:00 AM
I don't think there is a way to stop ICOs from popping out everyday as it is like an idea that comes into mind everytime and you dwell on it so much and ask people to buy your idea until iit becomes a realization or until it becomes the next big thing in the world of altcoins.  ICOs for me represents possibilities as long as it is well regulated and not a scam to cheat people off their cryptos.  You never know when the next bitcoin or ethereum will appear in the market if you stop ICOs just like that.  I agree with what most have said that, at the end of the day, it's really up to you whether you would invest in an ICO project or not so it's too early for me to dismiss them just yet because again, your ICOnmight turn out to be the next big thjng in the cryptocurrency world.
While I do not like regulations, there is no doubt in my mind we need to regulate icos to a certain extent, but governments seems to only be interested in regulating icos to charge taxes and nothing more, while they should do a lot more to protect people from falling in scams.
895  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: January 04, 2018, 03:56:32 AM
Yeah i'm really panic for now because of a big dump on NXT which made it loss 40~50% in only 3 days ? WTF is happening with NXT, i think this is the time for me to be chilled and don't panic selling.
I know what you mean but you should not let those feelings get in the way of your investment decisions, I have faced similar situations before as well and the only thing you need to do is to ask yourself if you invested in a good project if you did you have nothing to worry the price will soon recover.
896  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on with the price today? on: January 04, 2018, 03:51:55 AM
Be mentally prepared for 8k.

It is very likely that the price could maintain above 10k, and make a recovery eventually, but there is also a good likelihood that it will drop and test 8k, and maybe just go straight down. HODL
Fortunately that did not happen and we did not touch 8k and the lowest point was 10k now bitcoin has recovered and reached 15300 that is still far away from the all time high we reached, but this year seems like it is going to be even better for bitcoin so make sure to grab as much bitcoin as you can.
897  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: January 03, 2018, 02:37:17 AM
This is a point I think is meaningless. In fact, a lot of things are not measured by money, and some things are not a substitute for robots. Like a person's loyalty, love for a family, and a sense of achievement in work. These are not simply made.
One of the things most people never think is that at the end when you are old you are not going to remember how much money you had in your bank account but how many good memories you had and for most of those things you do not need a huge amount of money, a nice conversation, a good time with friends are things you can enjoy no matter how much money you have.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash overcome the original Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2018, 02:32:46 AM
After the events in may of this year, an event occurred which greatly affected the prices of coins. Some people (who said they'll still do the fork) dream that BCH was higher Bitcoin. Investing huge capital in the BCH. Yes, capitalization of the BCH($ 47 811 365 671) will soon be close to the Ethereum ($72 670 424 851), is a significant figure that should not be forgotten.
Explain to me please, why is it still considered that Bitcoin cash has more superiority than in Bitcoin? I just can not understand how and by what criteria users of crypto currency determine What is better Bitcoin or Bitcoin cache?
Bitcoin cash is no better, some people make that argument because the transaction fee seems to be lower in bitcoin cash, but we know that coin is being manipulated and the miners are jumping between bitcoin and bitcoin cash just to make money, so the community does not trust that project.
899  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: January 03, 2018, 02:24:50 AM
I don't think so. Even if electric cars are using electricity to run for it to be appealing to its users, the cost of buying one is more expensive compared to a regular car. In addition to that, the maintenance of it is really expensive as the they are not mass produced and their parts would take more time to create or find. The main point here is really about its cost and since electric cars doesn't have an appealing price for its buyers, then they would rather choose an oil-powered car instead.
Also electric cars use very rare components for their materials so it is impossible to create cheap electric cars and even if that was the case there is no way to create those cars since there is not enough of those materials, so oil powered cars are going to be a reality for a long time.
900  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: January 03, 2018, 01:54:24 AM
In my opinion, there will be many things to before that happen. But bitcoin is the global currency in the digital world. Also, bitcoin is the most popular and most expensive cryptocurrency that is centralized and easy to use. Even bitcoin price is unstable, the percentage of its rate value is becoming very high, and many user, company, and establishment are looking forward to accepting it.

Exactly. BTC marketcap is huge now. Bigger than many countries GDP. But still, there is no real use of it. People buy it because they want to earn money. Many don't understand this at all. So all of this could break very easy. There is still a long path in front of BTC, and blockchain in general. But it is important that this all have perspective. Let's wait and see.
There is a real use for bitcoin besides investing in order to try to make money, bitcoin is still a way to send money over long distances, the fees are not very attractive at the moment but that is bound to improve at some point in the future but if you are sending a big amount of money, sending bitcoin may be worth it.
