881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 14, 2023, 12:53:08 PM
We are one day away from the rematches in the Champions League qualifiers. The Turkish team Galatasaray captured a big advantage by 3-0 in the first leg so it shouldn't be any problem for them to eliminate NK Olimpija by defeating them once again home. But one thing is sure that they need to make improvement in defense to hinder bigger problems against more challenging teams.

The matchup of which I'm wondering the result the most is Marseille - Panathinaikos. Because the French side lost the first leg by 1-0 away. Probably we will see a defensive-oriented game by the away side completely. Marseille must be able to dominate easily but I hope they can stay in the Champions League.

They are playing under the management of a new manager so I can't be confident of anything for them yet.
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 14, 2023, 12:33:20 PM
Milan have taken really big steps this summer so far. While not losing many important players they have made 8 transfers 2 of which are free transfers. They spent around 110 million euros for the remaining 6 players in total. This is quite a serious amount as I don't remember them spending this much money in a transfer window for a while.

It looks like they want to start strongly to this season to be one of the title contenders. Because their last season effort was quite inadequate compared to the previous one in which they won the league title.

But one thing is important that after adding this many players they need to work hard to keep the chemistry among the players high.

After being linked with Inter this time Balogun is speculated with Tottenham now. Because as you know Tottenham have just lost Harry Kane to Bayern Munich so they are in need of a striker now. They have Son and Richarlison who can play in this position maybe but I don't know if any of them would perform the same as Kane.

Balogun doesn't guarantee anything either maybe but he can at least become a useful player there.

By the way he was quite a beneficial player for Reims last season by scoring 21 goals in 37 matches. This is pretty nice stats for a 22-year-old scorer.  Smiley

Hayrola ne zamandır zam gelmiyor.  Grin  Dolar 27 lirada sabit kaldı diye Apple'ın zam yapma hızı yavaşladı herhalde. Apple'ın şu an doları kaçtan alarak hesap yaptığını da merak ediyorum.

885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Lega Serie A 🇮🇹 (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2023/2024⚽ on: August 13, 2023, 10:06:38 AM
I voted for Inter to become the champions of the 2023/24 season. Because I also believe they have made big progress in the recent times. Bookies must be thinking the same that Inter are the biggest favourite @2.75. Napoli were given @4.00 odds right after them and Juventus follow them @4.33.

I understand the gap between Inter and Napoli because Napoli aren't a team that become champions quite often in the Serie A. This was their 3rd league title 2 of which were won in the 1986/87 and 1989/90 seasons. Although they still have almost the same squad they have changed their manager. Spalletti has left his place to Rudi Garcia. We don't know how things will go from now on yet.

I'm just surprised with the small difference between Napoli and Juventus in odds. Because Juventus aren't having good days honestly.

Turkey has went up to 10th place in rankings of country coefficients according to the source: https://www.uefa.com/nationalassociations/uefarankings/country/#/yr/2024

This means that the Turkish Super League is going to start sending their champion to the Champions League groups stage directly as of next season. This was actually a thing this league had before but after Turkey dropped down from top 10 they lost their place. This is good news for Turkey because it is a huge improvement compared to last season. They were able to send only one team to the Champions League and it wasn't even to the group stage. Turkish teams are making solid transfers lately so hopefully they can also do some good work here.

It is really sad to see Eden Hazard in this situation. He was one of the best European players once. But it was like that while he was playing for Chelsea. Even in times Chelsea were struggling I remember Hazard continuing to make a huge effort. He was like the hero of the team back then.  Smiley

But after being signed by Real Madrid the nighmare started for him. Due to having long-running injuries his career turned into a horrible one in a short time. Even his teammates like Kroos started to talk badly about him.

His worth is only 5 million euros in the market now and he is free agent. I guess that the best place to go for him is really Inter Miami now as they seem the only interested team.
It is true that Hazard was very good back then at Udinese and Chelsea. He was a player that Arsene Wenger discovered back then while he was still at Udinese playing his game,Arsene the former manager of Arsenal saw how good he was and went after him, after following him all season to make sure he brings him to emirate,Chelsea hijacked the deal from them based on the fact that Arsenal were not financially bouyant at that time.He was sold to Chelsea were the best of him came out.He was the best player at Chelsea at that time, and he showed his worth at Chelsea. He left to madrid were his career was getting to climax,he couldn't play the way he used to play at Chelsea,he was no longer an important figure at his new club, and he regretted ever leaving Standford bridge.
It is sad that he's leaving Madrid, but it is still good because he might have playing time at Inter miami were he will go if the deal materialises. Therefore,we wish him good luck at were ever her finds himself later in the window.

Eden Hazard has never played for Udinese. Where did you get that information? His old teams before Real Madrid were Chelsea and Lille that's all.

I'm so glad to see Kane joining Bayern Munich forces. It is already time he needed to start winning titles. He wasn't going to win anything if he stayed for another season. I'm saying it confidently because we all have known Tottenham very well. They are one of the decent teams of the Premier League maybe but it only because of squad quality. There is no achievement at the end of the day.

Spending more than 100 million euros is really a lot maybe but I hope Kane will be worth that.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: August 11, 2023, 07:14:07 PM
Turkish teams are literally dominating the Conference League these days. Especially Adana Demirspor's performance has been mesmerizing. This must be their first European tournament experience but they are playing like they are quite experienced in this environment. They scored quite impressive goals against Osijek in addition to winning by 5-1.

Especially Yusuf Erdogan's goal by a shot to the upper right corner was amazing to watch. However the Conference League is going to get much tougher for all Turkish teams by next round.

Adana Demirspor are taking on the loser of Olympiacos-Genk; Fenerbahce are taking on the winner of Twente-Riga and Besiktas are taking on the winner of Aris-Dinamo Kiev. All the probable opponents are quite decent teams in the end.
889  Local / Ekonomi / Re: İşsizlik Oranı on: August 11, 2023, 07:02:41 PM

890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 11, 2023, 06:55:55 PM
Real Madrid should only focus on a centre-forward signing now. I don't think there is any other position which is in a more urgent need to be consolidated now. Maybe a winger can be signed also to improve the squad depth but it is isn't immediate compared to a centre-forward. Benzema has left and his place hasn't still been filled.

If Ancelotti moves on by relying on only Joselu and Rodrygo then I don't expect much thing from them especially in the Champions League. Because maybe they can still do a good work in the La Liga but the Champions League is a way different arena. You should compete there with the best version of your squad as much as possible.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 11, 2023, 06:29:32 PM
So which team do you think has a great chance of winning the Champions League title next season?

The answer is simple to me theoretically: Manchester City.  Grin

Bookmakers think the same as me also that they have been the absolute favourite in the recent times. But it is totally normal considering how solid their squad is and how great manager they have. But even though they are the biggest favourite by far there is still nothing guaranteed of course. Even last season Manchester City didn't have a comfortable title. Inter made quite big difficulties for them.

But I will still be supporting Manchester City for a back-to-back title despite its not being an easy task.  Smiley

Yes finally the new season is starting in a day. I'm especially curious about Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. They have been in a race to make transfers for a while. We have seen teams even competing against each other for some specific players also. For example Fred can be given as a live example now.

Because Fabrizio Romano said that Fenerbahce were closing in on signing Fred. You know Galatasaray have been chasing this transfer for a long time. Now it is like Fenerbahce are trying to answer Galatasaray's stealing Zaha from their hands.

Galatasaray don't look like they will improve the offer they made in July. It is up to the player to make a choice between money and the Champions League.

According to the most recent news Chelsea aren't interested in a swap plus cash deal between Vlahovic and Lukaku anymore. They are rather interested in selling Lukaku to another team directly. After hearing about this I started to think that Lukaku will start to think of joining Saudi Arabian teams seriously.

He rejected those teams before according to I know. But if Juventus don't sign him by making only cash offer then I don't feel like there is another likely team to go for Lukaku in Europe. Then he had better take a probably huge salary offer coming from Saudi Arabia and go there. Chelsea are already trying to sell him in the end.

It is still not a very bad result for Marseille truthfully. Despite the red card and bad performance in general they still lost by only 1-0 to Panathinaikos. In France I will be expecting a Marseille dominance and they should be advancing to next round after that. Besides Marseille are playing with a new manager now - Marcelino.

This is still an adaptation process for him as he will be aiming to make his system work well for Marseille. Hopefully we would see showing them a dominant effort next time. Otherwise it would be a nightmarish start for the French team.  Sad

Aubameyang wasn't effective in this match either but I expect an improved performance in the second leg.

Griezmann has signed a new deal with Atletico Madrid which is a permanent one this time. He has done the right thing for himself in my opinion.

I agree with you; Griezmann signing a permanent deal with his boyhood clubside Atletico Madrid is the best decision from this summer from the talented french forward; After the failed move to Barcelona; i am happy to see Griezmann recover his form and become even a better player.

Do you guys think Atletico Madrid can have a better season this new year?

It is a good question. This season is going to be important for especially Diego Simeone. Because he is in his last year of his contract with Atletico Madrid now. Atletico Madrid don't seem to be rushing anything to extend his contract yet. I think this shows that the board haven't been satisfied with their performance in the recent years.

Especially last season was even worse for Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. It was a horrible group stage performance. In the La Liga not much thing changed as well. They should be a team to be able to enter a title rivalry normally.

Considering all of this Simeone must find a way to improve this performance. But in my opinion Atletico Madrid will have a similar season and this will be the end of Simeone era for this team after a relationship of 10+ years.

İnsanlar her zam haberi öncesi akaryakıt istasyonlarına koşuyorlar.

As far as I know Hamilton has stated before that he wants to race for five more years in Formula 1. But this still doesn't guarantee one thing that Hamilton will continue and end his career at Mercedes. He has also been linked with rumours like he might join Ferrari. They are just entering this news on some websites regularly.

On the other hand Hamilton refuted these rumours before by saying that he was in talks with Mercedes for a contract extension already.

In short things are really complicated now as there are rumours saying different things everywhere.  Grin

5 more years?

Well, I guess in this sport you have a longer longevity, especially if you have a good car I guess you can still win at 45 years old.

Look at Alonso, he was very competitive this year when Aston Martin was decent.

Exactly.  Grin  Especially the most skilled drivers become more ambitious to race until quite old ages. Hamilton is aiming to be one of them as it seems. Alonso has become 42 years old newly but he is still very competitive for the title. Aston Martin's having a solid start helped him become even more focused on this season.

Now Aston Martin have lost a lot of pace though. But I think Alonso will always be the same until his retirement which would be a couple of years later I guess.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 09, 2023, 06:30:55 PM
As far as I know Bayern Munich will think about what they can do about signing Kane after Tottenham's once again negative answer. But would there be another offer coming after that? I don't think so truthfully. Because they have already made a huge offer like 100 million euros despite his being a 30-year-old player right now.

Bayern Munich are really in a desperate need of a striker now. But they don't even know how much Tottenham chairman wants for Kane exactly. He is just resisting to keep him for another season. Bayern Munich could start looking for another striker from now on.

This is again a patience game now, but Kane said that he wants to know what's going on as soon as the first game in the Premier League is about to start. Bayern can't really go any further or it would really be wrong to pay so much for Kane. Justifying a transfer fee of maybe 120 million or even more with the bonuses would only make sense if he scores 50 goals in two or three consecutive seasons. Maybe he can do it, but I think that any transfer fee with three figures is a significant risk.

While I wasn't expecting any more offers I came across some news regarding this situation. Bayern Munich have been reported to be preparing a new offer of 110 million euros. Unlike my expectation it looks like they will be insistent on signing Kane this summer. Then I guess Bayern Munich don't really have another striker on their target now.

They are ready to spend an enormous amount for Kane so Levy might be convinced after some time maybe. But as I said before Levy doesn't say something like he would sell him if they get an offer like 150 million for example.

As a result we might see a couple of more offers coming from Bayern Munich to convince him finally.
