901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: at which point of a boxing match you consider cashingout? on: November 06, 2023, 08:49:18 PM
assuming you risk your money to an underdog Prograis 3.75 vs Devin 1.22 and then Prograis luckily landed a snap punch resulting in a flash knockdown in the 1st round and the referee counts to 8. of course, you will be seeing the cashout option makes you win probably more than 30% if you'll cash out. would you do it or would you wait to find out if Prograis wins?  and what will you do if the fight goes the distance while Devin is also gaining?

let's say you compare this to Fury vs Ngannou which Ngannou knock down Fury and then goes the distance. will you cashout because it's already a sure profit or will you wait for the decision which is very uncertain?

It depends on who is fighting in the case of the Haney and Prograis fight I'll cash out I know Haney is capable of making a rally he has been hurt before but he still manages to win a unanimous decision and in the case of Fury and Ngannou I'll also cashout Fury has been known to always wins the championship rounds and of course, there's politics in boxing.
If the match is not even the underdog chance is a lucky punch but if it goes the distance and the favorite has a chance to rally the favorite will still win so it's better to cash out when you are sure of big profit, I have seen this so many times the favorite get a hit, gets knock down uses his skill advantage and eventually win the fight, but of course, there's an exception though where the underdogs take over the whole fight.
902  Other / Off-topic / Re: Asking For Review Of My Free Premium Seo Tools Site on: November 06, 2023, 03:08:02 PM

I will not use pop on my sites just normal ads I'm ok to earn a few bucks so I can add more add-ons and maintain the site there are a lot of add-ons available to add hopefully I can do more and will contact the developer if there are results on any tool that is not showing the desired results.
If you work hard on one or two tools, you will get better results, but since you cannot access the back-end, I do not think you can do much.
Developing one of the tools will help you a lot. For example, all text-based tools have uses in this forum, so developing them may mean free views here. You can also automate some of the tasks carried out by campaign managers and customize the list to be exactly for Bitcointalk forum, such as talkimg.com (Bitcointalk customize hosting service)
I can disable any of the tools but why should it be disabled I want the platform to be an all-in-one stop for anything related to SEO and freelancing in fact if I have more funds coming I will be adding more add-ons like Currency Converter, Is Your Website Down Right Now, Bitcoin Price Calculator,  thanks to Royse777 for continually having me on his campaign I can develop more projects for the community and for everyone who's looking for tools like this.

903  Other / Meta / Re: Request for a board of made-up stories on: November 06, 2023, 12:33:23 PM
You have a unique way of expressing your annoyance at the repeated pitiful stories in the Bitcoin discussion section, everyone agrees with you There are tons of such tired stories in the Bitcoin discussion section.

Many members have written previous topics about this problem, but what is the solution? Since the forum is open to freedom of expression of opinion, no one can stop these people, whether they write in the Bitcoin discussion section or in any other section, so perhaps ignoring them and not giving them any merit is the only solution to reduce this widespread phenomenon.

These topics are getting support which is why they are always on top of the discussion, if you just ignore them and do not comment on them, they will lose their value and it will be buried.
I don't support the creation of makeup stories board, people who are new to Cryptocurrency might think that people's stories about Cryptocurrency are just made up if we have a board like that, we already have an off-topic section to move posts that are proven to be made-up.
And it's hard to prove the story is made up compared to the scam section where you need to upload your evidence to prove your case.
904  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I’ve bought 100 BTC in 2011. Need help to find them for rewards. on: November 06, 2023, 11:37:21 AM
Thanks everybody for their answers and advises. I understand the story looks a bit unreal. But this is for real.  This BTC where bought by my friend in 2011. Hi is rather far from cryptocurrency and computers at all. Then he've lost a paper with login and password and thought it was over.. Recently, he accidentally told me about this case, because he found out that I am engaged in cryptocurrencies. Of course, I also don't really believe that it will be possible to find these bitcoins, but just in case, I decided to ask for help from the community.

So you're lying when you post this
Quote
In 2011 I’ve bought 100+ BTC on some cryptocurrency stock exchange and now I can not remember what was the site exactly.
When asking for the community's help and suggestions you should be as transparent as possible especially when we are talking about vital information, the first thing that you need to do is to check if your friend is telling the truth, in the first place you already know the answer to this since you admitted that you are engaged in Cryptocurrency.
You should be honest with your friend and tell him what to expect, these things really happen, because at the time we're losing Bitcoin we do not have the idea that the price will skyrocket.
905  Other / Meta / Re: Demand for non-Telegram forum notifications? on: November 05, 2023, 11:43:48 PM

I know that some people don't use Telegram, so this means my bot isn't usable by them.

Now the question: Is there is demand for those notifications outside Telegram?
Would you use a website, setup email or browser notifications, etc... for all the stuff I wrote above?

Your telegram bot works great and is on time when it comes to notification, if you're dedicated to discussion on the forum you have to subscribe to this telegram notification, but a browser notification will be great for many of us, I don't recommend email notification because it could mark the email spam if they keep sending thousands of notifications every minute.
906  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I’ve bought 100 BTC in 2011. Need help to find them for rewards. on: November 05, 2023, 11:11:22 PM
In 2011 I’ve bought 100+ BTC on some cryptocurrency stock exchange and now I can not remember what was the site exactly.
I’ve got only email which also was a login name and my passport information.
I’ve made a purchase using my credit card but it is impossible to get a bank statement for the year 2011 now.
There is no information about this purchase on my email also.
Does anybody have any idea how to find out what was the site and where the BTC now ?
Maybe it is possible to analyse all the Bitcoin blockchain blocks for feb.-march.2011 and to select those who contains the sums near to 100 BTC ? And then  we can try to find the owner of the bitcoin adress where the funds were transfered to... Is it real ?
The reward of 10 BTC will be distributed in case we find this BTC.

Can you please explain first how you remember it now, did you just awake from a coma or do you have Alzheimer's and you just remember this thing, It was already 12 years ago, and there are so many obstacles to recovering those Bitcoin and even if you offer 50% of that amount I don't think anyone here can help you this is like looking for a needle in a haystack based on the information you provided.

Even if you find the owner of those Bitcoin now, if he still owns them, do you think he will send them back to you, finding out those Bitcoins is a long shot much more getting back those Bitcoin, why not try to learn how to move on instead of trying to recover these Bitcoins you've loss, dot you worry you're not alone on this.
907  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 500.casino csgo500.com $1,500 was confiscated for no reason on: November 05, 2023, 10:46:35 PM
Hello to all who are interested, the cheaters have not returned my funds to me! Be vigilant and don't work with them!

Yes, they have a good reason not to, and since you cannot get your money you resort to spamming since csgo500.com decided with finality and marked your account as violating their terms this accusation will go nowhere, if you continue to spam you will eventually get a ban, or you can try other platforms to resolve your case in your favor but I don't see a favorable outcome for you based on all the pieces of evidence presented.

908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 09:36:03 PM
Old age is not the time to go astray in gambling so I will check if he is still in control or has gone astray and lost control of himself, I think I will get a hint if his health is deteriorating because he will keep up both in his health and finances and I will just let her children to advice him with this.

I will just anonymously tell his children that their father is gambling too much, but if I see that he is still okay I will just casually warn him by telling him my experience on going too much on addiction, old people sometimes listen to people who are close to him and show interest on what they are doing.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 05, 2023, 09:14:04 PM
My opinion here is they should have a warning on their site that about gambling addiction so they should do something for their players who go astray in their gambling habits, it's both for PR and for making the gambling industry responsible for people who failed to treat gambling entertainment as a form of entertainment,

They issued a warning so it is better to allocate even a small portion of their earnings to facilities and online free help because so many gamblers lose everything that they cannot afford to go to these facilities for treatment and those online free help for gamblers cannot sustain without funds to operate the sites.
It may sound unusual but it will lessen the burden on their conscience and also on these people who got addicted because of playing on their platform
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 05, 2023, 04:43:27 PM
I'm just curious and would like to get the consensus of the community, should casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure, we can't deny that the gambling addiction percentage is very high in this generation,

I just stumbled one site about gambling addiction it's a free help for those addicted to gambling, there are many more related sites and facilities.
Do you think it is the obligation of casinos online or offline?

It is casinos' way to repay those who put in a lot of money and get addicted or they shouldn't care because it's the gamblers' initiative to play.

912  Other / Meta / Re: I don't have good account security. on: November 05, 2023, 02:09:37 PM
I am new to this forum and have not learned anything yet. I don't see the account security in this forum, I opened the account and got no email notification, I logged in again and still no email notification. I think security should have been given while making this account.

When in Rome do as the Romans we have our way of securing our account and you have to follow what members are doing here to secure their account, get a strong password, be sure you have a clean PC, and stake your wallet here in case there is an intrusion to your account,  people here can easily validate your account and it's your way to recover your account too.
Security should start with the user there's no need to worry about why no email is coming when registering, you will get notified when you receive a personal message or get your post deleted just be sure to whitewash the Bitcointalk notification, everything is working perfectly here you just have to adapt to this community and you are good to go.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 05, 2023, 12:48:46 PM
How many of you have dreamed about having your casino? Be the house and play the always-win game.

In the past years it was different, people who could build a provably fair engine were able to have their own casino, but now we are playing with new rules, the casinos must have a license and games providers, and that's what people are looking for, and i don't say is something bad, the gambling experience on stake compared with the gambling experience on satoshi bones is enormous.

But getting back into the topic, i would like to read some nice histories from the community, those who only dream about their own casino, and those who make their dreams come true.

Scrolling on Codecanyon a script marketplace I thought your $2000 was just enough to set up one because there are scripts there that sell for $200 or less until I did some research where some articles detail the cost of setting up a casino and a competitive casino and good casino cost anywhere from $30k to $200k many gamblers can manage the cost but its different when it comes to operations and marketing because it's a 24/7 operations.

You need the right people and these right people should be compensated you need a huge budget for marketing for the continuous flow of players because players jump from one casino to another and your ROI will take time depending on the trust of players.

Yes, the Casino industry is a multi-billion-dollar industry and competition is so high that big casinos getting the preferable choice while new casinos need to create awareness and this will cost a lot of money.
914  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: November 05, 2023, 10:51:48 AM
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share a project that I've been part of. 5 years ago, I changed course from being a casino affiliate to working with problem gambling. It's been a project full of challenges, happiness, tears, and fighting. I wanted to do something different, and I saw how many people struggle.

QuitGamble.com

The website is available in English, Spanish, Swedish, and soon French and Portuguese.

Thank you for sharing this with us, but why now only, you mentioned that you were part of this 5 years ago, but it's still good that you've found the time to share this, the courses and all the information are free because they rely on donations and one of their donators happens to be Great.com an affiliate company which donates €25,000.

Gambling addiction has been one of the main problems and issues in countries where online casinos are accessible and the site is such a big help for those who are struggling to cope with addiction, it's good that they've got sponsors so they can offer all materials free and for maintenance of the platform, I hope they will find more sponsors so they can continue helping more gamblers who have issues with addiction.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 04, 2023, 11:07:53 PM

what do you think about this? are games which are played by computers are rigged? don't answer like we play for fun, we are responsible, we are bitcoiner we know to verify bets, etc.

I didn't finish the video because it's expected of a guy who loses millions he did not present anything that will verify his accusation look at the title of his video
Quote
IS GAMBLING RIGGED?!
So he is not sure if it is or he is only presenting his idea that it is, if he is a responsible gambler he should have done his research first and not wait for him to lose millions of dollars and then do an investigation people will think that you are a sore loser.

People should do an investigation on the casino or games they are going to play first and if they see that the casino or games are dubious then don't play and look for other games or casinos and make sure you know the fact that this is gambling it could go either way you get busted or you take home the jackpot
916  Local / Pilipinas / Re: bakit dapat mong maintindihan at wag matakot sa dip on: November 04, 2023, 10:39:51 PM

Nirerecomend Mo Ba Ang Article Na Ito Sa Mga Baguhan Sa Bitcoin

917  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi Im very newbie on: November 04, 2023, 09:54:53 PM
Hi , so where do i start do i have any luck to earn some profit?
I been contacted on Telegram someone told to pay signals 300$ ....he showed to his binance profits futures signals.
Im sceptical so i ask here other what should i do ? To buy signals ? And what's the signals price then ? Will i earn 3000% monthly really with payed signals ?? Indont belive is that Easy to make money ?  Sorry i don't want to sound dumb but i really don't know and i don't want to lose for no reason just

Tnx

You did the right thing asking here and welcome to the world of Crypto Investing, where you will get unrealistic offers that sound too good to be true, first off Telegram is the worst place to communicate with new people who offer you investment packages, there is no such thing as 3000% monthly profit after you paid even if they show you screenshots, because screenshots if you're not good at looking can be altered.
You are saved by your skepticism, that is the right way to proceed here in this industry, when there is doubt, don't proceed and always do your research and make your research good.
918  Other / Archival / Re: Account Birthday on: November 04, 2023, 05:08:13 PM
Congratulations on your tenth year here, reaching a decade here is already a big achievement the forum has evolved into something great in the past the forum was overwhelmed by too much spam but with the community helping together to fight scams and spam it has become a respected forum and one of the sites for resources for everything Cryptocurrency.
This made me realize that two months to go and it will be my tenth year also, I wonder who are and how many members have and will celebrate their tenth year here, maybe it is time we have a decade-old members club here.  Smiley
919  Other / Meta / Re: I raise a motion to create a board where health issues can be discussed. on: November 04, 2023, 04:32:24 PM
There was cyber-security board request which is much closer to this forum's niche yet it hasn't been granted yet, health board is too far fetched to be approved.

Because of the look of things, there are many challenges of health facing the world at large, so if a board is created where health issues can be discussed, I am sure those that are always in the forum can know some solutions to their health issues without even seeing a physician because not all health issues require a physical or doctor; some issues need counselling, so I will be glad if there is a board or section where health issues can be discussed.

I'm sure they can use search engine, also there are plenty Reddit subs for similar stuff.

Honestly, health board doesn't belong to this forum, if you like you can always post such stuff in off-topic board.

I don't know how OP connects a forum dedicated to Bitcoin should have a board about health issues, his reasoning just doesn't add up, I don't see the connection, like all the others' opinions here, and visitors will be intrigued and surprised to see a health board in a technology forum.

Bitcointalk is not a place for everything which is why we have an offtopic board so the moderators can transfer topics or discussions that are not suited to the theme of the forum.

I recommend to OP to just use Google and forums dedicated to health, it's not acceptable here, in as much as health forums will not accept topics about Cryptocurrency.

920  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Help us to remove Freewallet scam wallets from AppStore on: November 04, 2023, 01:38:27 PM

Yes, well, based on my experience, 1-2 days is the fastest result i have seen especially in weekdays but still depends on different factors i don't know what are those though because sometimes it takes times or no action at all.

There may be different situations. If it was like an investing scam (when someone is advertising an investment fund, which actually steals assets, the respond would be fast. But if the project has terms of service, working app etc it may be not easy to prove the fact of scam.

This is a good initiative your post is up to detail on how to request the removal I'm sure many will take the initiative to request its removal, I'm sure you are in contact with people who have been scammed, you can ask these people to request for the removal and since you have a dedicated site against Freewallet, things will be easy for them to understand why they have to remove, Freewallet on their store.

I hope in the coming days we will not see Freewallet on their store or some other platform where they can download freewallet, they have inflicted damage to their users, and those victims will have to get back on them.
