901  Other / Meta / Re: Can we delete our accounts here? on: May 09, 2020, 02:20:23 PM
Hi everyone, I am a new user so I don't know much about here. But one thing I noticed here is there's no option to delete our own accounts (sorry if there is). I feel like there should be an option for us to do the same. And with deletion of our accounts should delete our posts and threads.

There are many scammers who might benefit from it but those are exceptions and it would also provide a opportunity for people loving a kind of privacy Cheesy like for those who are banned permanently, wouldn't they be able to delete their accounts and delete their thousands of posts instead of letting people know their stuffs even when they are banned?!

There is no option yet here, but you can do it, it will just take a lot of time if you have thousands of posts if you ask me I don't want that feature, this is a warning to scammers that they can get ban but all their posts are retained and people will read their methods of scamming which will benefit members of this forum.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Akoin by Akon – Your views? on: May 09, 2020, 02:10:00 PM
I think it's not yet on the market checked it both on Coinmarketcap and Coingecko and it's not there I read this coin months ago but it's not moving in terms of marketing, do we have an official announcement, as I can't see one, I doubt if this coin will become popular or profitable in the market without a use case.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 09, 2020, 02:02:54 PM
Most sports events are halted, suspended, postponed, and canceled because of the pandemic virus for about to 1-2 months now. Within that short period, the damage is serious so I can't imagine if it will take a year or over.

Seen several posts here about the vaccine that should be made first before resuming. It makes sense and the best thing to do but providing the timeframe of creating a vaccine against Covid-19 that might take a year(s), is the world can afford to wait for that vaccine?

So what do you think?

a) wait for the vaccine even it will take years, end of the discussion

b) resume slowly with several considerations such as no audience, limited number of staffs or any important things to do before considering resuming, unless the area or place was heavily affected

Since it's almost impossible to expect a vaccine until the end of the year or maybe the 3rd quarter of the next year, I will go with B but with lots of considerations (But I'm hoping I'm wrong. We all want the vaccine and experts around the world are truly working hard for it).

The sporting industry should find a way to make their business move because so many families are relying on this business, we can't just let it die just like that without giving a fight, they can do strict social distancing to their audiences and pick a place where there is less number of infected and follow strict guidelines and compliance.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] US hands Justin Sun a $2 million coronavirus relief grant on: May 08, 2020, 06:01:59 AM
he should issue a clarificatory or official statement why they received funding coming from the US considering they are making a profit from their coin and other affiliates,  suspicion will arise if he just ignored this, they should take care of their affiliates and not rely on outside funding.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: May 08, 2020, 05:54:54 AM
I don't believe in ICO ranking sites. Most of them are paid and not real.
The more they get from the team (payment) the better the rank they will give!

What I am looking for in ICO is looking at MVP, live and working products. Something that really can make a difference. Not just empty words with fancy pictures.

People are staying away from rating sites since last year after investors and bounty hunters find out that they are conniving with dubious projects to give them a good rating, they are one of the reasons why investors are losing money and ICO losing money.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: May 07, 2020, 03:25:12 PM

This boxing already took place, maybe they will not allow a competition like this next time because if it gain a lot of criticism here, for sure in their country these people are also criticize, but then we never know really.

as of now,. .total cases is https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/nicaragua/

it seems like these event did not cause new infection.
It really looks like but if the number goes up or double within 2 weeks then should stop any contact sports and the government just support these boxers, the death is quite high I wonder how many are in the suspected list, this is very important because the number could still go up.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you newbie looking for perceive income? Just be careful of AIRDROP on: May 07, 2020, 02:45:27 PM
If you are newbie and you are looking for ways of making some  Bitcoin and other altcoin, be very CAREFUL with AIRDROP campaign as many of them out there are out to scam/milk you with the little ones at your disposal. Sometimes, they are out to get your personal information like email address, etc and sell it out for money.
Some of them will tell you to send some amount of BTC or ethereum to their address as fee for you to get the aclaimed airdrop reward of which they will later run away and mute their telegram channel.

Be warn is to be armed.

Newbie in the Crypto can only go for airdrops because it cost nothing no rank to qualify, there are still a lot of good airdrops but it's too time-consuming and the wait is very long I still have not received airdrops that I claim 6 to 10 months ago, bounty campaign is still preferable.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: May 03, 2020, 02:43:14 PM
I’m just trying to collect some data, also I guess this post will be useful for the rest of the forum users.

In my case, in 2018 I loss 32 times one after another using the dice system on freebitco.in.

Greetings

I'm a small-time gambler and yes I do martingale but I never go fast 10, or if my small funds will still allow me to go on, the longest I have been on a dice losing streak was only 10 it's hard to keep when you are in your bad day, you have no choice but to stop and only play with funds that you can afford to lose.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: May 03, 2020, 02:20:11 PM
This project looks like a dark horse I have not seen a project like this before the nearest I can compare to this project is Nano or Fermat which is mining by invitation only, will read more of this project and see how these things work here.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: May 02, 2020, 02:49:06 PM

Although it's awful that some successful casino owners and management forget to protect and help their employees who helped them to become successful, some casino owners were able to send help and give their employees the salary they need. Perhaps they don't care about their employees' financial struggle because they have a lot of money, and they can survive the whole lockdown with that money.

It's their responsibility to give them a salary even if the business is closed. They should be prepared in times like this, and for sure they have an emergency fund to provide their employees. It's only a simple sacrifice for the employees who have been working for them every day.

Workers rights are protected in every country employers should advance salary to their workers or they can even advance their Christmas or thirteenth-month pay, or they can loan their workers but it should be zero interest, they have made a lot of money it's just right that they give their workers a share of their income at times like this.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about investing in Eos on: May 02, 2020, 02:07:44 PM
hello, i was wondering if Eos can be a good investment for the future ? what are your thoughts ?

Good coin to invest, they have many Dapps, but you must understand how it works, this is very much different from the Bitcoin or Ethereum, much more like delegated proof of stake coin, so you will have problem trading and withdrawing your coin in case, but definitely this coin has a future.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockburn, A big Failure on: May 01, 2020, 10:24:43 AM
I've never seen a big failure project like blockburn this year so far, in 2019 when this project was released it was trading at a whopping 0.93$, and after bounty was over, without sending any token to any bounty hunter the value is now 0.00007$, this will be the first failure project I promoted this year, the use case is something that should work as per my research but the question is, what happened? Exit scam? Or team dumped?

Unfortunately, it's both and that's what happens to project with no use case this is not the only project with a similar fate, in fact, there are a lot of ongoing projects that will end up like that, always check the community reviews and the people working behind the team how dedicated are they.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stability is not ascertain. We might fall again on: May 01, 2020, 09:58:04 AM

As long as this persist, we are not sure how long the market will survive. there is little hope. everyone needs to be careful. when to move funds. Most countries are already in deflection. the situation is making matters worst. it looks like the end of the world.
Honestly, 2020 was not what we all expected.

You are so pessimistic, but you are now eating your words because things are still ok and our scientists are working on the vaccine and it's just a matter of time before I vaccine is out in the market, 2020, is just starting out the year is still a long way to go, we cannot conclude what's going to happen.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 30, 2020, 03:38:54 PM
I have one friend who used to play dice in stake.com, he started with a very small fund ($100), out of that money, he managed to have a balance of 24 ETH at some point but unlucky guy lost everything in one day. Once again, with the bonus he got from stake, he managed to cross 30 ETH within less than a month but yesterday, he lost everything once again.
How come he lost everything one day? Do most of the gamblers lose money in such way?

He is excited in the money he won and he does not know how to handle it and this is dangerous, not knowing what to do and how to control himself and this case is not isolated, it can happen to anyone and mostly to newbies at their early stage of playing.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Mayor Of Las Vegas wants the whole city open, including casinos and stadiums on: April 29, 2020, 04:40:59 AM

She even accused Anderson Copper of being an alarmist, so pathetic

916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How corona virus affect on the Crypto world? on: April 28, 2020, 01:28:34 PM
I believe in Bitcoin in the long run, but when heard about the unemployment rate because of Corona virus increasing every week, I feel worried. How it will affect on the crypto world?

One thing that made me believe, the market is very resilient and will remain stable and will not crash even if we have a pandemic, that means we have investors who will not dump and leave the industry and we have them to thank for keeping the crypto economy going.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit: Why not bitcoin? on: April 28, 2020, 02:44:50 AM
I know a lot of you guys already know what's going on with Reddit taking on ethereum based tokens integrated with the platform. They are currently experimenting a point system where communities can give extra benefits to their users. Apparently they are using ERC-20 based tokens, obviously they are going to make it possible with Ethereum and most of you guys might ask why not bitcoin?

Here is my personal opinion about it.

1.It's not because Bitcoin is not fast enough for confirming transactions like ethereum, so if it happens that the experiment goes well then millions of users are going to receive monetary benefits that will only take a seconds.

2. Ethereum Integration is the best fit for the platform simply because Ethereum was made for facilitating smart contracts and applications under its own currency.

3. Ethereum has a brighter future than bitcoin, since ethereum is used to run applications there will be time in the future that we will be making payments using ethereum and not bitcoin.

You already said it all, they are thinking long term that is why they choose Ethereum and not Bitcoin fork, maybe this is just an experiemental and they might soon come up with their own token in ERC-20 so who knows, it's their choice anyway, but I'm glad that they come up with giving monetary benefits to their users.
918  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: April 27, 2020, 02:12:13 AM
Cryptotalk site will have your IP logs so cleaning cookies on your browser has no effect and if you are banned once means you are banned so you can create new one using VPN and get paid from the beginning but they also stopped new registrants so people who got barred has no other way to get paid and I am not sure that still pay per post campaign is still active on cryptotalk.

There are still activities and they are paying people and I read from one post coming from the admin that there will be a signature campaign, it's been discussed months ago but they have not yet launch one, the one that will benefit are those coming from higher rank
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronacoin on: April 27, 2020, 02:05:40 AM
Hi, I recently discovered that there is a cryptocurrency called 'Corona Coin'. At each death a quantity of the coin will be burned. Anyway, I would like to know if you know of any place that I can buy it via p2p. Thanks

Good people with compassion will not invest in this kind of coin that glorifies death coming to this deadly disease, there are other coins to buy that will yield you profit not from something related to this pandemic, developers now are out of control they are not thinking anymore and they all just want to make a profit.
920  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Corona Virus in the Philippines. on: March 11, 2020, 04:29:28 PM
