The necessity that mothered the bitcoin invention is the need to make private irrevokable payments over long distance without having to trust or even know the spender. Social disease networkers like Bruce have consistently tried to adapt bitcoin to meeting up in person and getting to know the spender. There is no need to use bitcoin to pay for what Bruce buys in person. Paper money passed under the toilet stall works fine for his purpose. It's better even, because there is no need to carry a computer or wait for a confirmation.

The problem with the original invention that addresses the necessity as described above, is that criminals could, and did, steal the ledger books and the gold backing. In that way the privacy and the value were lost. Bitcoin is hoped to be the solution because criminals cannot rob the vault, or steal the data. It's been a long and painful process to get to where we are today. Probably less than one in a hundred posters to this forum have this understanding.

Interesting.  I can see how Bruce was literally preaching going against these ideas.   I like this way of thinking.   Also, i'm sure your numbers on the hundred posters is right, as I don't believe I have seen the explanation be that specific, and no sites really tout Bitcoin as such.

yet still "praise" solidcoin.

You are being a silly extremist now, feel free to hit 'ignore user' on me if you are pulling some Fox news style shit out of my posts... "praise" lol... oh God.  Half of what you get from whatever it is I am typing seems to be set with some kind of hatred bias toward any party.   CoinHunter, from what I see, is a dick, however his cock size is quite small compared to others.  In my opnion.  Whatever.  "Grow up" Smiley

Bitcoin represents the fruit of my life's work. Of course I'm angry when a dummy like bruce, who clearly does not know what bitcoin is for, nor understands the necessity that mothered the invention, does all he can to use that as a vehicle to promote his sick numbers game. When was the last time a bank exectutive tried to lure you into a coffee shop toilet? It's my point that it's inapropriate behavior.

Las partes en negrita por favor.

But if I'm already here how do I get this horrible place off my screen dancupid!  Please advise.

Besides arguing that takes time away from your main hobby of being an apologist for CoinHunter.

Out of all the SolidCoin soap opera, this weird attitude from the campaigners against SC is becoming my favorite part lol.   They are nearly making CoinHunter no longer seem like such a bad guy, and that really sucks, I think you all should tone it down a bit, stick to tech talk, and leave your personal issues with the guy out, it is really looking bad.

No that's a pretty good break down of it.  Stick with usenet.

usenet is for old people!   I am on that IRC thingy with an fserve hosting my latest 20 mp3s.

Honestly though, if that is a good break down of it, then "I still don't get it", there must be some pretty bad files being shared if the paranoia is that high regarding said files.

lol, when I say manager, that is what I mean.   No e-slapping the hoes here, these are good webcam ladies who enjoy putting on a show but may not be invested in digital currencies as much as us, so allow managers to step in.  I much respect deslok for taking the time out to provide this little service for Bitcoiners.

Rather than wait for a huge Bitcoin porn web cam site to come up that I always see talked about and people making threads about it and etc, the service is now already here, no bells and whistles.   But if there is enough demand no doubt a nice site will come up behind it.

I'm looking at Oneswarm right now, just based on something I already am kind of familiar with.  I am definitely missing something.   Who is the target audience for these type of file sharing programs?  I am probably misunderstanding, but it seems you would have to "know" people to access all the good files, which then negates the whole 'its anonymous' thing.   I am nearly 100% sure I am misunderstanding something here lol
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An open proposal to CoinHunter on: September 05, 2011, 06:06:38 PM
And you posted right after ArtForz, so you know about this vulnerability. I am starting to suspect you are somehow tied to solidcoin, as you are constantly defending it, apparently against your knowledge.
It is hard to read posts made with such hate behind them, seriously too.  ArtForz posts scream malicious intent, so pulling anything from his posts takes too much effort in wondering what his motivations behind the posts.

Anyways, am I constantly defending it though, really?     I have not given up on it, my knowledge thus far has seen it nearly being taken out of the hands of the creator for what seems to be decent enough reasons.    Either way, not everything is a conspiracy, grow up.   If you are doing proper stalking of my posts to make a weird accusation like that, you'll know I have less than 30 sc total, and it doesn't seem like that will be going up anytime soon with the outlook on the program.

I've always gotten the impression that CoinHunter was doing this to stroke his ego, not to get rich.

That is the way I am seeing it now.

Cute / happy looking chick, glad she is putting her work out there via Bitcoin.  Makes little to no sense why more ladies do not jump in on this, but I guess it will just take a good manager to make sure the switch is seamless for the ladies to get paid without caring or knowing where the money is coming from.

It was weird, I never looked that deeply into ixcoin and could tell it had scam on it, but I am still not catching SolidCoin as a scam, just horribly horribly handled is all.

We still have to witness the failure of a well-designed Bitcoin clone, created by a real community of intelligent and responsible programmers. I'm sure it will happen too.
Interesting, I actually have similar thoughts to you regarding the coins, except for one big change, I think there will need to be a successful clone, and Bitcoin will still survive.   My thoughts go more into users of each coin itself, with a split and divide among the ideals behind the currencies to the point that some people will not want to use the same currency as another just based on what things those coins support.

I can see people not using Bitcoin based solely on things that it currently is able to aide people in as far as silk road, supporting terrorists, and the whole list of 'bad' things.

Where as the people who love the ease of use and the ability to use currency in different ways than thought of before, is going to draw those people to the next thing, 'the improved Bitcoin'

Both will survive though, as long as smoothie wants them to.

I think him and smoothie just need to fuck and get it over with.  That is going to be some passionate angry sex.

There has to be a better alternative to use those zombie computers.  I mean, nothing can beat the ease of use as far as just booting up a browser, but surely there is something more effective.

Sorry for providing questions and no answers.

I don't believe the inanimate can actually form intent.
I horribly word questions on purpose sometimes, apologies, but can you expand on the thoughts you were starting to make then.

Can you delve a little further in this, I'm just catching up to this thread but am unsure what you feel Bitcoin's intentions are as a coin?

I have a vast collection of files I am more than happy to share if I could understand the benefits of sharing via Darknet or WASTE or anything mentioned here.   I never want to know the people I am getting files from in the least, I just want good file information before I get said files.  Who is the target audience for these services over current file sharing methods?
